I see no reason why it shouldn't. At prices I've seen down to $4.39, I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try. That's cheaper than a sandwich!

  • I bought battery charger for my mac book from the different store, and i want to verify that is genuine product or not?

i brought battery charger for my mac book from the deferent store, and before i plug it to my mac book i want to verify that is genuine product. how do i get to know that?

It should have an Apple part number at the bottom of the charger and an embossed Apple logo on the face of the adapter.
Anyone can stamp a logo on the side, of course, so I would take a good luck at the part number and do an Internet search for the part number, making sure that it's genuine Apple.
    Good luck,

  • Voltage range of battery charger for iMac accessories?

Is the US-sold battery charger (for iMac accessories with two batteries charged at once) working from 110 to 230 volts (with US-plug though)? Thanks.

Since the charger is rated at 5 Watts, and you have 5 Watts there that should work.

    battery charger for tablet

I probably shouldn't be telling you this... but most large retail stores that sell tablets also sell the accessories in store for these charges (plug and adapter both) Normally go for about $20-30 bundled.

  • Battery charges for 20 seconds , then stops. Lenovo yoga 3

My battery started having sudden drains when in sleep mode. As soon as i woke it up it showed 0% left and shut down. I installed all the updates. The problem seemed solved for one day. Then it drained again but this time did not shut down. It kept going and when plugged in shows 'plugged, not charging' so i started the calibration. That was yesterday. This morning it is still running. I so do not want to send it back, but if there is no way to fix this I may have to

I broke off the calibration since it seemed to be doing nothing at all, then let the computer fully drain. On stertup everything seemed fine for a bit till it then again failed to recognise the battry being charged. I gave up,and plugged in laid it aside. After a few hours opened it up again and presto, battery regognised, fully charged and now after a night in sleep mode 98% left and still functioning...

  • Battery charging of ipad2 using USB cable

I am unable to charge my ipad2 when attached via USB to any of my computers.  It states "not charging" on the ipad.  Are there any settings I need to change in order to charge via USB?

Ipad 2 will charge with usb cable even it show "not charging" it just take a longer time because regular usb port does not give out 10w, let connected overnight and you'll see its charging...
or you can install a software called ai_chargexxx (i forget the full name) on your PC, just google it
This is not correct.  If the battery icon on your iDevice doesn't show the lightning bolt, it isn't charging no matter how long you leave it on there.  Most accessory USB ports on computers aren't powered and are bus-powered drawing power from the computers USB interface without a seperate power hookup.  That aside, for devices the require more power than this, they will not work with this type of USB, as in the iPad.  Most USB's that have the juice to power anything are typically found on the back of the computer and typically only provide 500mA which again is pretty low.  That would charge it, but you might as well watch corn grow which would be faster.
As for the software you speak of, not heard of it, but willing to check it out.

  • What are the best external backup battery choices for the iPod Touch 4G?

    Hello,
I am so disappointed with the battery life on my iPod Touch 4G, even when I turn off location services and notifications and put it in airplane mode.
As such, I realize that I am going to have to get an external backup battery, even though I don't like the idea of carrying around yet another item.
What are the best choices out there, especially any ultra-portable (aka small and non-bulky) ones?  I came across this Juice Pack Air - iPod Touch 4G Case, which seems like the perfect solution, but it is on back order and seems to have been so for a good amount of time.  Who knows when it will be in stock again.
TIA for any and all help!

  • Battery charging for the 1st time

    Hi All,
I have bought a new nokia E51 & wanted to know whether is it necessary for the 1st time to charge the battery for 8-10 hours continuously. So, that the battery could get a long life.

Well have a look at this > http://www.batteryuniversity.com/parttwo-34.htm
It says nothing about the first charge but I advise you just charge it untill it is full and unplug the charger
and for the rest of the battery's life Here's what they have to say:
Avoid frequent full discharges because this puts additional strain on the battery. Several partial discharges with frequent recharges are better for lithium-ion than one deep one. Recharging a partially charged lithium-ion does not cause harm because there is no memory. (In this respect, lithium-ion differs from nickel-based batteries.) Short battery life in a laptop is mainly cause by heat rather than charge / discharge patterns.
Batteries with fuel gauge (laptops) should be calibrated by applying a deliberate full discharge once every 30 charges. Running the pack down in the equipment does this. If ignored, the fuel gauge will become increasingly less accurate and in some cases cut off the device prematurely.
Keep the lithium-ion battery cool. Avoid a hot car. For prolonged storage, keep the battery at a 40% charge level.
Consider removing the battery from a laptop when running on fixed power. (Some laptop manufacturers are concerned about dust and moisture accumulating inside the battery casing.)
Avoid purchasing spare lithium-ion batteries for later use. Observe manufacturing dates. Do not buy old stock, even if sold at clearance prices.
If you have a spare lithium-ion battery, use one to the fullest and keep the other cool by placing it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze the battery. For best results, store the battery at 40% state-of-charge.

  • External Battery Charger for Macbook 13inch

I took my macbook to the Apple store because it wouldn't charge anymore. The charger and battery are fine. They told me it was the logic board which would cost over $300 since my warranty ran out 80 days ago. I searched for some external chargers and found some but not for this specific battery. Does anybody know if they make an external charger for the macbook white 13 inch? Device name on the battery is ASMB016.

OK, but I'm not sure why? I don't believe there is a charger to hook directly to the battery, but if such an animal exists you might find it be doing a Google search. Also check out newertech.com, macsales.com, and quickertek.com.

  • External battery charger for Lumia 1520

I was looking for an external battery charger but all of them are either 1.0A or 2.1A.
Since Lumia 1520's charger is 1.5A, is there any brand of external battery fit the requirement?
Is it safe to charge Lumia 1520 with an external battery with output=2.1A?
    Thanks!

Agreed, those power packs are great to have as an extra power supply when you know you're going to be out and about for extended periods.
Recently I got myself one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BJCHH36/

  • What type of li-ion battery charger for Zen Mic

    Hi,
What type of battery charger do I need to buy for the removable li-ion battery the Zen Micro uses?

    But, I want a charger!
I will buy an extra battery. So that while I am using my Micro, I can re-charge the other battery. That is why I am buying a player with a removable battery.
Problem is that Creative sells the extra batteries, but I don't see a charger listed.

  • GrabIt charger for iPad2 and iPhone

I am trying to purchase a back up car charger for my iPad2 and iPhone. I've compared price and found GrabIt charger has the best price and it's selling in the local stores http://http://shop.grabitcase.com/index.php?cPath=41&osCsid=6f0e77dcf06f3ed533df 8e019648aec7 but I need to know if this is Apple licensed product or not? Some people say this GrabIt charger is certified by Apple, but some people say it's a copy accessory. I need help before making the purchase because I am afraid it would damage my iPads. Thank you.     James

While this may be the most acceptable explanation, and probably accurate one, it would be nice to hear one from Apple.  While playing movies may be more computationally intensive than navigating through icons on your device, playing games with interaction may push the limits beyond usability.  This I understand and appreciate.
While I'm a big proponent of forward development, I do agree maintaining backward compatibility at the expense of performance doesn't exactly equate to innovation.  However, maintaining at least one release version, especially less than 1 year old,  isn't exactly asking too much.  Although we are all quite aware that purchasing new equipment is the convenient solution, you can't help having an audience with new technology and hardware purchased within the last year be somewhat disappointed.  This would have been a nice feature.  It is what it is.
