BackUp iphone without encryption

Hello,
I have an iPhone 4S and I backed it up with a password (encrypted) in iTunes. Then, I restored my iPhone and since I didnt know the password of the Back Up, I used the icloud back up to restore it. Now I want to use iTunes do back it up but in the settings, the back up is still encrypted. I tryed deleting the backup and doing it again but it is still encrypted and i can't remove the encryption because I don't remember the password.
I would like to know if there is a way to cancel the auto back up and to start doing it again without encryption!
Thanks for the help

Here are some suggestions if you don't remember the password:

If nothing works you will have to restore your device as new:

  • Backup iphone without entering passcode

can you backup your iphone without passcode

I just asked a similar question.  Correct, iTunes asks you for a passcode before you can backup or do anything.  He was asking if there was a way to backup WITHOUT knowing the passcode.
In my case, before I restore and lose all the data on my ipad where I forgot the password, I'd like to make a backup (even if the backup is password protected) because I'll feel better about having all the data wiped off the device if I know that someway/somehow/some day I might be able to retrieve it from that backup.

  • Use iCloud with a backup iPhone without destroying original iCloud backup

    Hi,
I have an iPhone 5 which i need to send to repair for few days. Device is fully backup with iCloud.
I have a backup iPhone 4 to use for the week i wont have my iPhone 5.
iPhone 4 is now after a hard reset and completely empty. i want just to restore my contacts and calendar to my backup iPhone 4 so the original iPhone 5 backup will not be destroyed so i can restore my repaired iPhone 5 when it's come back.
What is the proper way to do this?
    Thanks

Unfortunately if you migrate to iCloud the only thing that he will be able to use on your pre-lion mac is the iCloud mail account. You will be able to access your calendars, contacts etc at iCloud.com, but I suspect you already know that.

  • Touch screen stopped working. Is there anyway to force a full backup of the iPhone without typing in my passcode lock or is there anyway to force it to connect to a WiFi network so the phone can backup to iCloud??

Hello all, I could use some help with my iPhone 4, I hope this is the best place to ask!
    The Problem:
I want to do a full backup of my iphone to either itunes or to icloud. Unfortunately the iphone got wet and isn’t working properly. The phone turns on and still works, but the touch screen no longer works. I have a passcode lock on the phone so iTunes will not allow me to backup it up until I type in the passcode (which I cannot physically do). WiFi had been turned off before it got wet so it won’t connect to any known WiFi networks either to backup automatically to iCloud.
    What happened:
I had been travelling for 6 months and went tubing on a river with my iphone in a dry bag. Unfortunately the dry bag failed and filled with water ruining my iphone.
    What I’d like to do:
It’s an old phone and I was planning on buying a new iPhone anyway. I would love to do a full backup to either iCloud or to my computer so when I get a new iPhone I don’t lose anything. I’ve already connected it to my PC and downloaded all the photos and videos off the phone so at least I haven’t lost that, but I would like to be able to recover all the text messages, WhatsApp messages and notes I had created during my 6 months of travel.
The last time it was backed up to my pc or to icloud was in April, so there are 6 months worth of very meaningful data I would love to keep to remind me of my travels!
Is there anyway to force a full backup of the iPhone without typing in my passcode lock or is there anyway to force it to connect to a WiFi network so the phone can backup to iCloud??
iTunes recognizes the phone just now and I tried upgrading the phone to iOS7 in the hopes that it would first backup and then upgrade. Unfortunately all that happened is the phone upgraded to iOS7, but it didn’t backup to iTunes. Now the phone is stuck at the iOS7 welcome screen and I can’t do anything else with it.
Any ideas or tips would be welcome!
NOTE: This is NOT a jailbroken iPhone.

If there is no other way around this, is there anyway to completely wipe the phone then??
The Apple store agreed to give me a new iPhone 4 as a warranty replacement for $150 (I travel a lot and I have a factory unlocked phone, so this is still worth it for me).  But before I trade it in, I would like to make sure all my data is backed up on the device first.
When I try and restore the phone now on iTunes, it says I have to turn off Find My iPhone on the phone first before I can restore it.  Now since I can't use the screen I can't really do that.
So how do I completely wipe the iPhone???
    Thanks!

  • How do I get a new iTunes account to create a backup of what's on my wifes iPhone without deleting all the photos and stuff?

How do I get a new iTunes account to create a backup of what's on my wifes iPhone without deleting all the photos and stuff?

Well, I believe I found it.....
When I connect the IPhone the device name pops up under devices in the selection column. Right click on the device name and select "Back-up".....
If this is incorrect please let others know as I won't be able to because my wife will have destroyed all computers in the house for losing her data.

  • How can you backup your iPhone without using the front button?

My front button doesn't work again. Had this fixed a week ago and it stopped working again.
So how do I backup the iPhone without being able to close the email account it is in now and get to the Settings without using the front button?

Restart your iphone by using the power button. After the restart you will be able go to the settings and enable assistive touch!

how to restore iphon-without backup, after it synchronization from ipod

    Thanks Eric,
After inserting the original DVD I installed OSX and after reboot I had a working computer.
There was no opportunity to restore the TM backup. however when I rebooted from the
DVD again I saw that possibility from a menu of the install utility.
I ran through the restore over night (8 hours) and when I woke up, I had my computer back!
    Thanks for helping me out.

  • TS5223 i have change my name and my icloud is still using the old account. how do i change it to my new apple ID on my iphone without deleting the backup already in icloud

have change my name and my icloud is still using the old account. how do i change it to my new apple ID on my iphone without deleting the backup already in icloud

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • Someone tell me how I can sync my music to my iPhone without it saying on itunes "set up as a new iPhone" or "restore from the backup of: iPod"

someone tell me how I can sync my music to my iPhone without it saying on itunes "set up as a new iPhone" or "restore from the backup of: iPod"

You must be trying to sync it with a different computer than the one it used last. No, there is no other way to do this.
The iPhone may be synced to one and only one computer at any given time. If you choose to sync it to another, you can do that as often as you wish, but its content is erased first.

  • I can't access my iPhone backup(automatic encryption) so will have to set up phone as new. Haven't been able to work out what password A has allocated so will all future backups be also encrypted unless Apple finds a way around this?

I can't access my iPhone backup (automatic encryption by iTunes, not through choice!) so am resigned to setting my iPhone 4 up as new phone, because I can't determine which of my passwords has been allocated. Has anyone else gone down this path and will all future backups also be encrypted unless Apple works out a way around this or I can work out my password?

You might want to try contacting Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click See All Products and Services>iTunes>iTunes Store>Passwords & Security Questions>Lost or Forgotten Apple ID password.  They should be able to explain what's going on and help you reset the password for the old ID if necessary.  The call should be free.
