Backup meines Ipads

wie bringe ich itunes bei, dass das Backup meines IPADS auf meinem Laufwerk D:\ erfolgen soll?? im Moment legt itunes das automatisch auf C. da habe ich auber keinen Platz mehr. Gibt es eine Möglichkleit das umzustellen?

Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Nach dem Verbinden meines iPad Air mit meinem Mac mini wird iTunes gestsrtet, dort sichere ich mein iPad unter "auf diesem Computer sichern".
Ich kann aber nicht feststellen, wo auf meinem Computer (mac mini) die Sicherung abgespeichert wir.
Da ich aber meine Sicherungenen auf eine externe Festplatte speichern möchte, muß ich wissen, wo der Speicherort auf meinem mac mini ist, wie dieser heißt und wie ich diesen ändern kann.
Ich ersuche Sie um entsprechende Information und Unterstützung.

die Sicherungskopien werden in der Benutzerlibrary abgelegt - im Ordner
~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
Am besten lassen Sie iTunes diesen Ordner anzeigen.
Gehen Sie in die iTunes > Einstellungen > Geräte
Dann ctrl-klicken Sie eine der Sicherheitskopien und wählen Sie "Im Finder anzeigen".
Das wird den Ordner mit den Sicherheitskopien öffnen.

I have tried resetting and erasing all settings and data on the one I still have, but when I go to restore by iCloud; it only gives me the choice of restoring the same iPad. Then in iCloud>storage>backup, I'm still not able to choose which backup to backup to. I've even tried deleting the backup to the iPad I still have, then resetting all setting and data on the iPad, hoping that in resetting up the iPad it would give me the option to backup to my old iPad. But it doesn't. It still has memory of the backup of my newer iPad.

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it.

When you upgraded, itunes should have put a copy of the itunes library database in a folder named *Previous iTunes Libraries* . If you upgraded itunes today it will show as
iTunes Library 2010-02-28.itl

Since I am not sure of your setup, look for the "Previous" folder on both your C: and F: drives.

In a word, no.
The iPad backs up to iTunes on your Mac or PC. Then, the Mac backs up in turn using Time Machine to the Time Capsule.
Your other option is to backup the iPad using iCloud.

How do I assign a disk drive to backup my iPad

I am trying to update to iOS 8.1.1, using iTunes on my PC. However, there is insufficient space in my C: drive to backup the iPad Mini. I have other hard drives that have space and want to use one of the other drives for iTunes to perform the backup.

These threads are full of people who were not aware of those last items that are NOT backed up to iCloud. Be forewarned and make sure those specific items are backed up to alternate devices.

If you really do not have enough space on your HDD for a backup of your iPad, you do not have enough space at all. Free up at least 15% of your HDD, in any case more than 0.8GB for the iPad update.
Make backups on an external disk.
After freeing up enough space, try again.
