Backup probleme - Backup fehlt in der iTunes Liste

Nachedem ich mich schon seit einiger Zeit quäle und mich schon fast durchs ganze I-Net gelesen habe und nichts gefunden habe, habe ich beschloßen nach Hilfe zu Fragen!
Angefangen hat es dass das Mail Programm sich nicht öffnen ließ und ich beschloßen habe die Firmware wiederherzustellen.
Backup hab vorher gemacht usw.
Da ich zuwenig Speicherplatz hatte hat das Backup abgebrochen und ich habe es erneut machen müßen...wieder zuwenig Platz.
Jetzt hab ich Platz gemacht auf der Festplatte und wollte das Backup bespielen und siehe da, die letzten 3 Backups sind weg (zumindest in der Liste bei iTunes. (Gelesen hab ich das ich nicht der einzige mit dem Problem bin, aber ne brauchbare Antwort habe ich nicht gefunden)
Im Exploerer unter ...MobileSync/Backup sind diese 3 Backups noch vorhanden.
Jetzt die Frage...wie kriege ich diese Backups in die Liste bei iTunes zurück? Ich brauch nähmich das von vor 2 Tagen. (zwischendurch hat das Phone ein neues Backup gemacht.) Ich habe im Explorer auch nichts verschoben oder umbenannt usw.
Interessant ist das die gaaaanz alten Updates von Nov. und Dez. noch im iTunes angezeigt werden aber die letzten drei aus Januar nicht mehr.
Was kann ich tun bzw. gibts Alternativen?

Nein, grundsaetzlich gibt es gegen Ihre Methode keine Einwaende. Sie ist in vielen (Not)Faellen erfolgreich angewendet worden. Es werden immer wieder Schwierigkeiten mit Organizer Backups, insbesondere inkrementellen berichtet. Das von Ihnen erwaehnte Problem beim Restore (Ordnerstruktur) sollte allerdings nicht auftreten oder loesbar sein, aber das ist eine andere Frage.
Meine Empfehlung ist allerdings, dass Sie das Kommando '>File> Write Keyword Tags and Properties Info to Photos' (Stichwort-Tags und Eigenschaften Info zu Fotos schreiben) durchfuehren. Fuer alle Faelle.

P.S. Hinzuzufuegen ist allerdings noch, dass gewisse Kreationen, wie z.B. Alben, hierbei verloren gehen koennen.

Seit der iTunes Version 11.1.0.126 werden in der Listenansicht der Podcast alle Podcasts angezeigt, die in der Cloud verfügbar sind. Wie kann ich die ausblenden???

Nach dem Download der neuesten iTunes-Version habe ich in der Listenansicht meiner Podcasts plötzlich alle alten Podcasts mit einem Symbol der Cloud nebendran. Damit lassen die sich herunterladen oder direkt aus der Cloud abspielen. Ist ja soweit ganz nett.
Nur: Ich will die alten Podcast-Folgen nicht in der Listenansicht sehen, weil die Listen damit ewig lang werden und ich meilenweit scrollen muss. In der letzten iTunes-Version konnte man die einfach mit der "Entfernen-Taste" aus der Liste löschen. Wie kann ich die in dre neuesten Version ausblenden??? Bei Musik geht das über den Menüpunkt "Anzeige > Musik der Cloud ausblenden". Bei Podcasts gibt's den Menüpunkt nicht. Was tun?
Wenn das ein Bug ist, sollte Apple das schleunigst beheben.

Ich habe das gleiche Verhalten festgestellt.
Ich vermute, dass dazu im Kontextmenü (rechte Maustaste) die Option "Alte Folgen einblenden" gedacht ist. Die läßt sich aber nicht aktivieren/inaktivieren.
Weitere Probleme mit podcasts in der iTunes-Version:
Die generellen Einstellungen für podcasts lassen sich nicht mehr für einen einzelnen podcast übersteuern. Das hat vorher auch funktioniert. Die Einstellungen wirken nun immer auf alle.
Die Einstellung "Automatisch Laden" wird auch noch ignoriert und es werden alle (neuesten?) podcasts geladen.

I've been restoring my iTunes folder from a backup hard drive to a new computer on which I've downloaded the latest iTunes (10.7). If this is a newer version than the one I backed up with could this be the problem? (I had the latest (to my knowledge) iTunes when I backed up the folder about 3 weeks ago, was this version 10.7?)
Or is the version of iTunes (within recent updates) not an issue when restoring a library?

The general method of use is to download the script to a folder of your choice, e.g. your Desktop, Downloads folder or create a folder at ...\iTunes\Scripts. Select a playlist or highlight some tracks in iTunes and then double-click on the script to execute it. If no specific tracks are selected the script will try to work with all tracks in the current playlist. Some scripts offer a choice of track by track confirmation of changes or fully automatic processing of the selection. Many of the scripts can optionally display a progress bar while running.
You are strongly advised to backup your entire library, or at the very least the iTunes Library.itl file, before use. Test the behaviour of your chosen script on a small group of files first to make sure it does what you want before applying it to large numbers of files.
Most builds of Windows will execute *.vbs scripts when you double-click them. If that doesn't happen then you might need to visit the Add/Remove Programs or Programs & Features control panel to enable the Windows Scripting Host. I can track down details if you have issues.
Backing up and restoring data is an area that is often glossed over. Most people don't try to learn much about it until they've lost something important. (Me too )
If your iTunes library was in the usual layout then normally copying the whole iTunes folder from the User's Music folder in the old computer to the User's Music folder in the new one will usually work fine. Ideally this is done before iTunes is installed so that there is no empty library to replace, and all settings are picked up from the old library. This post contains more details.

Changed library location to backup, deleted from main itune...problem

I changed the location of my itunes library to an external hardrive, because i'm running out of space on my macbook. I deleted 3 albums from the itunes library on the macbook and it deleted it from my ipod???
I thought if I pointed itunes to my external drive it would update my ipod this would work, however I've now copied the songs back to the main itunes directory on the mac and sync'd but it wont update the library or my ipod...even if I change the location back to the original...
Any help much appreciated as I'm desperate to run the library from my external drive to free up space on my macbook

I've tried this but it wont update the albums/song that I initially deleted from the original Itunes library, they are shown in the actual folder, as I initially tried to copy them to the folder and then I tried to import them.
Either way these album just will not appear in the actually itunes list.
I cant understand why these few albums do not update on my main itunes screen??
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong, I thought it should consolidate both the itunes folders and ensure it takes everything across?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod.... and follow the instructions.

It shouldn't take this long, something is wrong with your iTunes. Try this:
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and do the sync again and if it is working now.

Using the 'backup playlist' facility in iTunes

Prior to discovering the above facility, I used to copy each mp3 file into a folder on my desktop and then burning a CD. Using the above is much easier but it also backs up the podcasts that happen to be in iTunes at the time. Is there any way to exclude podcasts when executing the backup?
Also, can I use the 'backup' to load my laptop?
