I need to backup a scounix system in a remote AIX machine tapedrive.There is a option in AIX to backup a system.Is there any option to backup a entire sco system in a remote AIX tapedrive.
Both are in the same network.
Can anyone provide a link for those commands if there is any.
Help needed

I are trying to install Solman 4.0 on Hp-UX 11.23/ Itanium 64 with Oracle 10.2.0.2 as the backend. I am unable to find any Installtion guide for Oracle 10.2.0.2 installation at SAP service market place, however I am able to find UPGRADE Guides only.
Please provide the link to Installation guide Oracle 10.2 on Unix (HP-Ux 11.23 )

I'm confused. What do YOU get when you push the feed button? And why is it working on yours and not either of my machines?
Today, my Mac (w/Safari 4) gets the same error message: Safari can’t open the page Safari can’t open the page “feed:http://vibrationalvoyages/vibrationalvoyages.com/DivineLight_Vibrations_Principles_andApplications/rss.xml”. The error is: “The feed could not be loaded because the content is not in a known feed format.”
My little ASUS (with a Linux operating system) gets a screen that says "The requested URL was not found". The URL on that page is http://vibrationalvoyages./vibrationalvoyages.com/DivineLight_Vibrations_Principles_andApplications/rss.xml
On both error messages, the URL I was checking was:

The last URL was, of course, the URL generated by iWeb.
So, my question still is:
HOW CAN I GET MY FEEDS TO WORK PROPERLY? If the problem is there shouldn't be an http:// after feed: then, how do I get iWeb to set it up properly?

Trying to find the correct Oracle version for SCO Unix 5.06

Please I will appreciate you can help me indicating where can I download the correct Oracle version for SCO Unix 5.06. I have downloaded the Tru64 Compaq version but it is not working with SCO.

So that we may better diagnose DOWNLOAD problems, please provide the following information.
- Server name
- Filename
- Date/Time
- Browser + Version
- O/S + Version
- Error Msg

This is pretty old. From the certify matrix, you can see the last available versions this platform supported were 9.0.1 and 8.1.7, just for the Intel SCO Open UNIX 8 with LKP. SCO 5.0 last time I used it was with an Oracle7.3 release. In case you don't have software it'll be hard to find, unless you address this to your Oracle Representative.
Are you absolutely required to run on this version? Otherwise, you could try new software and new oracle releases, unless you want to run unsupported.

Please provide assistance and guidance as I have recently just downloaded Itunes Version 10.7(much to my regret!)and now experience all types of sound issue-problems such as jumping,skipping and generally poor audio.
I have tried all the driver checks,music enhancer and equilizer de-activation on Itunes and defragmented my computer,but the issues are still there.
I have had NO problems with Itunes 9.2 in the past and now when I tried to re-install 9.2.;the system will not allow me to downgrade.
Is it advisable and poosible to downgrade without any loss of Itunes material?
Any suggestions as to how are would be able to resolve this OR is this an issue that is widespread and Apple need to address in a further upgrade?

To roll back to iTunes 10.7 first download a copy of the installer from here, uninstall iTunes. Probably best to also remove other suppporting software, e.g. Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support & Bonjour. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.

Make sure your SQL Server service is started.
Make sure TCP\IP and names pipes protocol is enabled
Make sure you have made an exception in firewall for SQL Server connection
Make sure SQL Server browser service is enabled
Make sure you connect with correct name hostname\instance name for named instance,MSSQLSERVER for default instance and Hotname\SQLEXPRESS for express edition.
Please make sure you use port no when connecting to SQL server listeing on different port (hostname\instance ,portno)

Foreign JMS Server Persistance\Retry in case Remote JMS Provider goes down

I would need more clarity on this. How does the Foreign JMS Server behave in case the remote JMS provider goes down. Does it take the message from the Publishing Proxy Service and retries\persists the JMS Message till the remote provide is up?
Please let us know. This would effect our design as retrial is very important here. Thanks

If you want to provide guaranteed delivery with automatic retries when using remote JMS implementations, there are multiple ways to implement it:
1. While reading from a foreign JMS destination
Create a Foreign JMS server using transactional drivers (use XA in case of JMS). The messages remain on remote server JMS queue and OSB proxy polls the message directly on remote server. So if Remote Server is down OSB will not be able to read the message. Once remote server is up OSB will pick up the message (as long as foreign JMS server provides persistence and maintains the messages in the queue during a server restart). In case of error in OSB foreign queue can do retry if it provides a retry mechanism.
2. While writing the message to a foreign JMS destination
a. Use a foreign JMS server using transactional connection. Put the retry mechanism in OSB Business service which writes to the foreign JMS/MQ queue. In case of failure Business Service can retry based on configuration. If you want to provide guaranteed delivery then create a local JMS queue to store the messages. So when remote destination is down for a long time undelivered messages will be rolled back to the local queue. You can put retry mechanism on the local queue.
b. Use a messaging bridge which will write the messages to the remote destination. You can configure retry delivery rules in messaging bridge so once busienss service writes the message to the bridge, a SAF agent will ensure the delivery to remote destination whenever it is up.

Let me try again, Chenks. I'm a technical person by profession, and so can get deeper into things like this, but I have not attempted to use these methods of communication in the past. I'm trying to get some feedback to Apple on their worsening a product and really messing with existing customer configurations. I'll try to break things up below.
1. Configuration:
Existing Apple TV and Mac Mini configuration in place since December 2010.
Three Apple TVs, one in Family Room for music and movies, one in Master Bedroom for music and movies, the third one in the Living Room for music only.
I'm using iTunes as library. (Probably an obvious statement, but wanted to mention that.)
2. Pre 4.2.1
No problems at any location since configuration finalized and all equipment installed in December.
Since December, Family Room entertainment equipment was updraded to a new Sony Bravia 3D, and a new Pioneer receiver. The Master Bedroom still has the original Toshiba 32HLC56 TV. That unit has only one HDMI input. I'm using the built-in speakers. This TV/Monitor is about fives years old.
3. Problem
I updated the software in two of the Apple TVs to 4.2.1. I updated the Family Room device and the Master Bedroom device. I had not updated the Living Room device.
After updating to 4.2.1, the Family Room equipment works fine. That's the location with the newer TV and receiver.
The Master Bedroom has different problems with different movies: e.g. "The Little Mermaid:" video, no audio. "The Lion King:" movie wont start at all.
Additionally, in the Master Bedroom some movies work fine, other movies start but immediately go into pause mode. Pressing pause button on Apple remote will not initiate start of movie, screen does "flicker" for a moment but movie does not start to play, showing only the last frame that had been streamed.
4. Not really a problem for me.
Fortunately for me, I had not updated the Apple TV in the living room so I used it to troubleshoot the problem. Initially I thought it was a defective Apple TV in the Master Bedroom. I took the unit to the Apple Store in town and they exchanged it for me. I brought the replacement Apple TV home but I did not install it immediately.
While testing the Master Bedroom set up once again to make it was working for our afternoon movie watching, I was again reminded that a software update was available. That message came up because it was the unit I had brought over from the Living Room. I proceeded to update the Apple TV to the new software version (4.2.1).
As soon as I "updated" the software in the Apple TV to the new 4.2.1, the same problems manifested themselves. At that point I suspected that the problem was with 4.2.1, and not with the hardware.
I called Apple Support and went through a series of troubleshooting techniques. We tested the Apple TV with the new 4.2.1 installed in it. This is the unit which originially in the Living Room. Under the direction of the Apple TV support technician, I used the Family Room gear and the Master Bedroom gear to try and isolate the problem to hardware or software.
We eliminated the following as potential problems:
a. TV speakers in the Master Bedroom
b. HDMI cable
c. Ethernet connection
5: Conclusion:
Fortunately for me, again, the Apple TV that the Apple Store had given me that morning still had 4.1.1. So I installed that unit in the Master Bedroom and everything started working normal again.
6. Side note:
An interesting observation: In early March I copied several movies from the Mac Mini to my iPad and some to my wife's iPad. All movies worked fine on our flight out and while we were away.
My wife recently (about a week ago) updated the software in her iPad. and now some of the movies that played just fine on her iPad are exhibiting the same problems as the Master Bedroom TV when it is connected to an Apple TV with software 4.2.1.
Apple has been trying to fix some problems in 4.2 when it released 4.2.1. I make that observation based on recent articles I found on the web. Most likely the Apple engineers were trying to fix things in one place and broke them in another.
Clear as mud, isn't it?
7. In closing:
I'm good to go, I just need to remember not to update the software in the Master Bedroom Apple TV. I want to keep that unit at 4.1.1. It's possible that Apple might come to the realization that they hosed things for some of us. Because I do have three units in my home, I can experiement with the other two units should a "fix" come out. I can then update one of the two devices, connect it to the Master Bedroom TV, and see if the problem was corrected. If not, I stay with 4.1.1. But I'm not convinced that Apple will see this as their problem, it's always easier to point elsewhere.
