Explain How delivery date is calculated using backward and forward schedul
How can anyone please explain how delivery date is calculated using forward and backward scheduling
I want to have it broken down into the following steps
for eg for delivery date calculation following dates are used
Material Availabilty Date
Material Staging Date
Pick/pack time
Transportation PLanning date
Loading date
Goods issue date
Transit Date
Delivery Date
Can some one please give me an example and explain wht these dates are
for eg customer needs delivery date on 11/20/2008
how would the system cacluate whether it can meet the delivery date using backward scheduling
and if it doesnt meet how does the system do the forward scheduling
also i am not clear with the following dates
material avaialibilty date
material staging date
transportation date
can some one please explain me all this in detail
ThanksHi,
Basically this is the CRSD(Customer requested ship date logic)logic in which system calculates the ship date depends upon the material availability. If material is available system calculates ship date on the basis of master data maintained in customisation.Master data is maintained in the following link.
If material is not available then system takes into consideration vendor delivery date & then calculate customer ship date.
Please go through the link in SPRO
LE-Shipping -Basic shipping functions-Scheduling -Delivery scheduling & Transportation scheduling-Maintain duration.
In customisation following data is maintained
Material Availabilty Date
Material Staging Date
Pick/pack time
Transportation PLanning date
Loading date
Goods issue date
Transit Date
Delivery Date
Hope you got the idea of CRSD calculation

Dirrerence between backward scheduling and forward scheduling
hi Friends,
This is madhusudhan i need diff b/w backward scheduling and forward scheduling
plz do the needfull asapHi,
Backward scheduling is the calculation of deadline dates: the arrival time at the customer site is calculated as the earliest possible goods receipt time at the customers unloading point on the requested delivery date. All four of the delivery and transportation scheduling lead times are subtracted from the customers requested delivery date to determine if this date can be met.
The transit time, loading time, and pick/pack time are subtracted from the customers requested delivery date to calculate the required material availability date.
The system calculates backward scheduling as follows:
Requested delivery date minus transit time = Goods issue date
Goods issue date minus loading time = Loading date
Loading date minus transportation lead time = Transportation scheduling date
Loading date minus pick/pack time = Material availability date
Forward scheduling is also done if no product is available on the material availability date calculated by backward scheduling. The system does an availability check to determine the first possible date when product will be available. This new material availability date forms the starting point for scheduling the remaining activities. The loading time, pick/pack time, transit time, and transportation lead time are added to the new material availability date to calculate the confirmed delivery date.
Reward points if it helps -
hi gurus,
Is there any control key that how the system moves from backward scheduling to forward scheduling
thanks
rajuHi,
There is no control key for the system to do backward or forward scheduling.
these two are dependend on the material availability date and requested delivery date.
If the stock of the material is available , the system will do the backward schedule , if there is no stock the system will do the forward schedule.
the difference is the schedule line items in the sales order.
if one schedule line item then backward , if two schdedule line item in the sales order is two then forward scheduling
thanks

Is there a URL equivalent of backward and forward?
I was wondering if there special URLs that are the equivalent to backward/forward. My backward and forward work fine and I know about Alt-LeftArrow and Alt-RightArrow.
I am asking if there is something that can be typed into the URL bar that is the equivalent of these.In few words, "No." There is no such client for the Mac. The closest you may find would be to try the Mac MSN client, aMSN - VersionTracker or MacUpdate - but it's essentially just a messenger clone. I doubt it includes a Live Mail client.
(Please don't suggest changing email accounts - I've asked this question elsewhere and that was the only response I got!)
Because there is no other response. -
I want to know what is backward and forward consumption
dear exports
i want to know what is backward and forward consumption , how maintain in mrp view plz reply meHi,
Consumption mode and consumption period are maintained in MRP 3 view .In strategy 40 when sales order is submitted it see the availability of PIR for consumption. The consumption mode decides the way of looking the PIR (i.e. If 3- It will look into forward direction like this) and consumption period states the limitation of looking.
e.g.
If MODE is 3 and forward period is 30 days then the sales order will look the PIR in next 30 days and if mode 1 and period is 45 days then it will look the PIR in past 45 days.

I can no longer back-delete or hit return to make a new paragraph, nor can i use the arrows to go backwards and forwards in a line; it's like the fn key is stuck; i've taken it off and cleaned it, and it looked clean.
Then it's time for a new keyboard. If you are still under warranty, call AppleCare.

My backward and forward arrows are missing when I download Firefox 4.0
My brother was at my home this past weekend and he downloaded Firefox 4.0 to his Windows Vista laptop and the download worked perfectly. When he downloaded Firefox 4.0 to my Windows Vista desktop, the download is missing the backward and forward arrows are missing and I find it very difficult to use the Firefox application. My brother removed the program and redownloaded the program at least 4 more times and every time the program downloaded with no backward or forward arrows. Both applications were downloaded from the same Firefox 4.0 website. How can this happen and what can be done to correct it?
Try to reset the toolbar customization, see:

Moving backward and forward doesn't work as it used to do
The latest update, 32.0.2, or perhaps the one earlier, 32.0.1, has created a problem with Fx.
Moving backward and forward doesn't work as it used to do; and if it is done quickly, backward and then forward again to the last page, Fx gets confused and both pages get the same address and the browser shows the same page.
Guess it has something to do with the latest changes to how Fx handles the cache, or that in combination with how some pages use scripts.
As it is it can be a pain to use sometimes.Are you able to switch songs from control center when Spotify is playing on your phone?
If you have Spotify playing on your computer then it won't show in control center on your phone. You will have to open up the app to control music on your computer.
This is because iOS does not show anything on the control center unless an app is outputing audio. The Spotify app is not outputing audio, it only shows what is playing on your computer.
Does that make sense? -
Moving backwards and forwards in a song/audiobook
If I want to move backwards or forwards in an audiobook, the manual says I push on the center button - a scrubber bar will appear and then I move the wheel to go forward and backwards. This is how it worked in my old iPod. However, with my new 160gb iPod classic, another screen appears asking whether I want it to playback faster or slower. How do I get the scrubber bar to come up so I can move backwards and forwards. Thanks

Backward and forward buttons for AVI video
hi
is there a way to do a backward and forward buttons for AVI
video using lingo?Yes it is. Use a behavior like this for the forward button:
property thisSprite
property dvSprite
on getPropertyDescriptionLIst
myPropList = [:]
myPropList.addProp(#dvSprite,[#comment:"enter the sprite
channel number for the video
sprite:",#format:#integer,#default:""])
return myPropList
end
on beginSprite me
thisSprite = me.spriteNum
end
on mouseUp me
sprite(dvSprite).movieRate = 1
end
although I'm not sure that AVI can play backwards, try this
for the reverse button sprite:
property thisSprite
property dvSprite
on getPropertyDescriptionLIst
myPropList = [:]
myPropList.addProp(#dvSprite,[#comment:"enter the sprite
channel number for the video
sprite:",#format:#integer,#default:""])
return myPropList
end
on beginSprite me
thisSprite = me.spriteNum
end
on mouseUp me
sprite(dvSprite).movieRate = -1
end

Swiping backwards and forwards within Finder not working
Hi all,
This is a problem in Mavericks:
If I open a Finder window and then navigate through Folders, I am unable to move backwards (or forwards) within the directory structure using the three finger swipe gesture. This appears to be disabled in Finder, but it does work in e.g., Safari (for moving backwards and forwards to different webpages).
I have attempted rebooting, rebooting with PRAM reset.
To reproduce the problem, you have to make sure that "Swipe between Pages" is set to "Swipe with three fingers" or "Swipe with two or three fingers" is enabled in Trackpad preferences (under More Gestures).
Does anyone else have this problem? Do you know how to fix it or get a work-around for it?Hi all,

I have slice a clip several time and I want to do a backward and forward movement but it seems to flip the clips where it is slice giving it the jumpy effect but in reverse and then it jumps to foward with a forward movement, I would like to know how to make a reverse and forward movement without the jump flip of the frame.
Its seems to just flip the frame and not reverse it from where it is clipped.I figure it out myself since no one help with this topic I did it with by duplicating the same slice clip to get a smooth forward backward movie feel.

Jumping backward and forward without to answer question
An issues I get sometimes; when im use back button on playback control without to answer a question and return to back to the question, it wont allow me to answer the question (get an message, "You havent answered this question". There are some user who need to play back and forward. Is that a bugs or some configure I need to do?.
Personally I will even turn off the playbar totally when getting to the first Question slide. This can easily be done by assigning the value 0 (zero) to the system variable cpCmndShowPlaybar on entering the first question slide (is available in the Action on Enter Slide list), and eventually turn on again after the score slide or last question slide.
Be sure not to delete the Back button, but turn off Backwards movement in the Quiz Preferences and accept to have the Back buttons deleted automatically. Because if you delete them manually on the slides, they could reappear magically...

Backward and forward in GL and in Web site
Two parts to this:
PART 1, INSIDE GO LIVE
Let's say I am viewing one page, page A. On that page I click a link that takes me to page B while closing page A. After viewing page B I want to return to page A.
If this were a browser, I'd simply click the back button or Command-[ and go back to page A.
But within GoLive 7, there is, as near as I can find, no way to click anything to go back to page A. I simply have to go back to the site window and reopen that page. Even Key Shortcuts lists nothing.
Is there a way?
PART 2, WITHIN A WEB SITE
Let's say I am viewing a page, page Th with thumbnails of some of my work. I click one of the thumbnails which takes me to a page with a larger image, call it page L.
Having looked at page L I now want to return to page Th. How do I do that?
Here is an example of how someone else did it, I think, using a numbering system.
http://www.alcorngallery.com/John_Alcorn/JohnAlcorn_image.php?number=035
If you click on one of the triangles left or right you move forward or backward one image.
I'd like to do something similar. Perhaps using the triangles in Zapf Dingbats, create a component. In the component, make the left arrow go back to the previously viewed page, whatever it happened to be. And make the right arrow go to the next page in sequence. (Not sure how to determine that as I have no numbering sequence and do not want one at this point. But a step at a time.)Since I am not a fan of encouraging continued use of elements specific to discontinued software, here is how you would do it in any editor...
PART 1 sample javascript code...
<a href="javascript: history.go(-1)">Back</a>
PART 2 sample PHP code...
<?php
//NAME EACH ASSOCIATED IMAGE FILE 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg...
//CHANGE THE '21' BELOW TO WHATEVER IS THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF YOUR IMAGE ARRAY
$maxpage=21;
$currentpage=$_GET[number];
$previouspage=$currentpage-1;
$nextpage=$currentpage+1;
//DISPLAYS IMAGE
echo '<img src="images/' . $currentpage . '.jpg"><br>';
if ($previouspage>0) {
echo '<a href="JohnAlcorn_image.php?number=$previouspage">BACK</a> - ';
echo '<a href="JohnAlcorn_index.php">INDEX</a> - ';
if ($currentpage<$maxpage) {
echo '<a href="JohnAlcorn_image.php?number=$nextpage">NEXT</a>';
?>
