Backward pricing

hi everbody,
I have a scenario, customer requests for discount on net price.  Now that discount will be on the net price, we have to do backward calculation and ultimately arrive to a new base price.
How can we to do this
thanks
srinivas

Hi Srini
this would completely be complex if you want to go in the reverse way you really need to write a separate routine to calculate the price where the abaper will take all the values and then formulate it and then come to the value what you want.
or other option is to store the value of taxes, excise, freight and stuff in a separate subtotal and deduct this from the primary may be this should fix your problem

  • Backward Pricing after posting GR for Dairy Indistry

    Hi Experts,
I have a scenario similar to Dairy or Live stock industry which SAP has already laid down in which the PO is updated with new price based on the Results of Quality Characteristics
for eg. If Quality Characteristics is Specific Gravity & its withing Specification, then corresponding condition type is updated in PO based on the GR quantity (per 1000 kg for eg.) after posting GR or after Usage decision in QM Inspection Lot
I want to understand if we implement the same solution, how the PO is updated after GR. Is the price PB00 or Condition type is changed at each GR? What happens if we have multiple GRs for the same PO ? Can we still implement ERS for these POs ?
Kindly throw some light if someone has already implemented this scenario or done proof of Cocept
    Thanks in Advance
    SAMIR MISTRY

    Hi Samir ,
Have you considered using the Price Date Control under the Condition Control tab in the PO?
    As per the F1 help:
    "Price Determination (Pricing) Date Control
Determines which date is to be used for price determination (pricing) purposes.
    Use
Enter the key for the desired date.
If you choose the date of goods receipt, for example, a new price will be determined upon the arrival of the goods, causing
the item to be revaluated at this time."
If you have multiple GRs for the same PO you can still use ERS processing, of course youll
have to run MRRL for each individual corresponding GR.
    Hope this helps,
    Adam.

  • Net value calculation in pricing

    Hi Experts,
Net value in SO and customer gross in billing showing incorrect value
Base price inclusive of duty - 100
So excise base value u2013 90.66 statistical condition
    ED- 9.07
    ECESS- .18
    SHECESS- .09
The issue is net value in SO showing 109.34 (1009.07.18.09) instead of Rs.100. The same value is passing in accounting for customer gross also. I need to arrest 9.07.18+.09 to be calculated in net value and customer gross account.
    May you pls advise?
    Regards,
    Deepu Pillai

To achieve this, you have to do backward pricing, means- After entering Total value i.e.100 in your eg. You have to derive the base price.
    like Total value ( Incl:Duty) = 100 = Base price + Duty( EdECSSHECess)
    Assume Base price = X
    100 = X + (10% of X)+(2% on 10% of X) +( 1% on 10% of X)
    ---   = X + (X/10) + (2X/1000) + (1X/1000)
Then , you will find Base Price i.e. Base price = (Total * 1000)/1103
    If your Total = 100, then base price = (100 * 1000) / 1103 = 90.66
               ED = 10% on Base price = 10% on 90.66 = 9.07 ( 2 decimal rounding)
                ECS = 2% on ED = 2% on 9.06 = 0.18
                              SHECess= 1%onED=1% on9.06= 0.09
                                       Total = 100( Price Incl:Duty)
So to achieve this you have to write new calculation routine & assign it in alt cal type.
( Create Statistical cond, type called "Total Price" & assign this cond type above the base price).
Note: Discounts have not been taken into account, if you want discount should be taken into account, then the base price you have to assign this New routine in "Assesble value" condition type)
    Hope it helps.

  • How to find table / field where condition records are saved?

    Hi,
We want Sales Order Rate ( Condition type ZR00 calculated with backward pricing ), as a column in a Z report.
I am not able to find out the table / field where system saves condition records for this condition type. I can only see structure.
Please help to trace down the field where this data is stored.
    Regards
    Trupti

    Hi Vishal,
KNUM is the internal number under which system saves the conditions that apply to a Sales Order.
So first to derive this KNUM from sales order we use Table VBAK
AFter this we use this KNUM and the condition type in table KONV to get the value for that perticular condition type.
    Please check following.
SE16> VBAK> enter any sales order in field VBELN and note down number in field KNUM.
SE16 --> KONV --> enter this KNUM and the condition type --> you would receive condition record value for this condition type, for that sales order.
KNUMH is a similar field in the table A503( in our case), but we also wanted link of the sales order to this record.
    Thanks for your help anyways!!

  • Apple Video and iTunes Pricing

I think Apple released the new Video iPod recently rather quietly. While it did receive significant attention, the changes that will result from this seemingly quiet release will be tenfold.
    Viewing size
The biggest complaint about the iPod video is that it is too small of a screen to watch anything. However, I'd wager a couple things about the people saying this. One: they've never seen this iPod up close in person. And two: that if they were stuck on a 3 hour flight to anywhere that they would love to watch their favorite TV show on such a device. Any device. Beggars can't be choosers and choosers don't have to beg.
    Scheduling
For many, myself included, I just don't follow any TV programs. My schedule is so varied that I simply can't commit to being at the TV the same time every week. With the video iPod, I can gladly catch an episode or a string of episodes whenever or where ever I have some free time. How about while catching a quick lunch? Or while waiting for my tennis opponent to show up? Or any airport layover, bus ride, or train ride, etc. (Probably not during bike rides or driving though...I recommend watching video only when you don't have to pay close attention to what you're doing.)
All of a sudden, overnight, I'm able to catch up on shows on my own schedule. And as more and more shows and other content becomes available, the more I will likely follow in this manner. The market is growing.
    Music comparison
Another thing the video iPod brings to the glaring spotlight is the ridiculous pricing of digital music. Each song costs $1.00 in the iTunes Music Store. (I know, it's 99 cents but let's be real - it's effectively one dollar.) Each TV episode costs just $2.00. That's $1 for a 4 minute song compared to $2 for a 45 minute, commercial free television video program.
Music companies are missing out on a ton of revenue because of this pricing. They are voluntarily cutting their own revenue due to greed and backward thinking. They could easily increase their revenue by at least 400% by reducing the price of each song by 75%.
    Let me explain how.
This year I bought like 2 albums and maybe 2-3 songs. Let's call it an even 20 songs. 20 songs times $1/song. That's $20. I need to know a song or album is something I really like before I buy it. However, if songs were say, a quarter, this would not be the case. I'd hear a song on the radio and be like, "hey, cool song and it's only a quarter". I'd buy songs on a whim...probably daily. The same goes for albums. If I like a song I'd decide that I might as well pick up the whole album. It'd be only $3.50 or so. I'd buy one album week. Who cares if it's going to be one of my favorites!
    So if we do the math for a year, $1/song x 20 songs = $20/year revenue. Compare that to the .25/song model. .25/song x 1/song a day (365 songs) = $91. Then add the one album/week at $3.50 which is $3.50 x 52 = $182. That's a total of $273.
    Results
    - $0. 25/song = $273 in revenue
    - $1/song = $20 in revenue
So in my case, if they reduce the price by 75%, they increase their revenue by a whopping 1300%!! Wow! Some may say that at 25 cents/song they wouldn't cover costs. That's bullsh*t. This is the electronic model where everyone is working in percentages. If whoever (the artists, the label, Apple) gets x% of each song, they'll still get x% of each song, and therefore, the total. And x% of $273 is a LOT more than x% of $20.

    Hi.
iPods can only play MPEG-4 video files. For putting videos onto you iPod, you can manually drag-and-drop them, or sync them automatically. Also see this article for how to watch videos in iTunes.

  • How pricing condition be auto updated if the user changes price in PO ?

    Hi
Is there any configuration setting on how pricing condition can be automatically updated if the user changes price in the purchase order ?
    Thanks
    Maruthi

    Hi Maruthi,
As far as I know, POs (like many other documents in SAP) are "snapshots" of data as it was at the time of the document creation.  This snapshot has no direct link to master data, so it will not change unless you go to the document and manually change/refresh whatever data you need updated.
Even if there were a way to link your PO to master data to auto-update I don't see how any change on a PO could go backwards and change master data.  Pricing works the other way around - the PO takes the price from the condition records, not the records from the PO.
    Hope this helps,
    J

  • Mrp pricing procedure

    dear all,
we have created new pricing procedure called mrp pricing procedure.which means in procedure we have given mrp price as base price. system would calculate taxes (calculating backwards) on billing value derived after discuont .ex.
    mrp              rs.1000.00
    disc. @10%       100.00
    billing value            900.00
    taxes12.5%       100.00 (900 /1.125)
    net(billing value-tax)   800
we need net value to be passed to accounts We have introduced  new pricing condition type " zdum" which represents net value thereby we could  pass values  to accounts.
atter this , discount and tax condition types are not passing to accounts .In the analisys we found that discount condition type is in active because of  subsequent price
we need to achieve net value, tax  discounts should pass to accounting.
kindly give your inputs on this .
    thanks and regards,

Edited by: YUGANDHAR REDDY on Jul 21, 2008 10:23 AM

    Hello,
    Go through the following:
I will brief your requirement in short
    MRP = 1012.5/-
    VAT = (1012.5/1.125) = 900/-
so price before discount will be = 900/-
discount given at the rate of 10% = 100/-
    Initial Price = 1000/-.
    1. Create condition types as below:
    ZR00 for price
    Condition class = B
    Calculation type = C
    Plus/minus = A
ZSET for settlement (to knock off the effect of ZR00)
    Condition class = A
    Calculation type = C
    Plus/minus = X
    ZWST for tax
    Condition class = A
    Calculation type = H
    Condition category = D
    Plus/minus = X
    Z007 for discount
    Condition class = A
    Calculation type = H
    Plus/minus = A
    ZDUM for net price
    Condition class = A
    Calculation type = A
    Plus/minus = A
YWST for tax (to knock of the previous effect - to be used for posting to G/L)
    Condition class = A
    Calculation type = A
    Plus/minus = X
YOO7 for discount (to knock of the previous effect - to be used for posting to G/L)
    Condition class = A
    Calculation type = A
    Plus/minus = X
    2. The following will be the pricing procedure configuration:
    Step......No........Cond Type........... From.........to..........Man.........Req........Sta................Acc Key
      10........0..............ZR00..................--..........--..........-...........-........---.................ZDU
      20........0..............ZWST..................10............19...........----.............X............X...................
      30........0.............text.......................10...........29...........---...........----.........X
      40........0.............Z007.....................30...........39...........-----.............X............X
      50........0..............text.....................30............49...........---...........-----.........X
      60........0............ZSET.....................10...........19...........----............X............--.................ZDU
      70........0............ZDUM....................50...........59...........----............X............---...............ERL
      80........0............Y007.....................40...........49...........----.............X...........---...............ERS
      90.......0..............YWST..................20...........29...........-----............X...........---................ZWS
ZDU - dummy account key for posting extra not required items.
ERL - account key for price
ERS - account key for discount
ZWS - account key for tax.
    3. Condition records in VK11
    Condition type----
    Condition record.......
       ZR00........................................1012.5.....................INR  will be positive
       ZSET.......................................100%...............................will be negative
       ZWST.......................................10%................................will be negative
       Z007.........................................12.5%.............................will be positive
       ZDUM.......................................100%..............................will be positive
       Y007.........................................100%.............................will be negative
       YWST.......................................100%.............................will be negative
Condition records for Z007 & ZWST will be decided as per the conversion required. You will first have to manually calculate the amount for the condition type.
    4. I create a sales order for single quantity for an item & the pricing will be as under:
    ZR00 = 1012.5 (dummy account) - positive
ZSET = 1012.5- (dummy account) - negative will knock off effect of ZR00
    ZWST = 112.5- (negative & no posting)
    Z007 = 100 (positive & no posting)
    ZDUM = 1012.5 (positive & posting)
    Y007 = 100-(negative & posting)
    YWST = 112.5 (positive & posting)
I hope this gives you a clear idea about the configuration required.
    With best regards,

  • Pricing Related Querry

    Hi All
I Have a pricing related querry. Instead of calculating final price by adding up Basic PriceTaxFreight+any other charges, the system should calculate the basic price on its own once the final price is given. For example, the customer might say that I have to give him a Corolla car at Rs10 Lakhs all inclusive. And when I enter the final price of 10 Lakhs, the system should do the backward calculation to detremine tax, freight etc etc and adjust and alter itself to include everything in 10 Laks
How is this done/ Is it via conditions or formulas or ????

    Hi,
This is possible in standard pricing also. Instead of having basic pricing + taxes etc, you create pricing procedure reverse way i.e. first condition should be final price and then other condition in reverse order....
but you need to check whether this is what you are expecting in sales order as pricing procedure can calculate results based on your input....

  • Mrp pricing standard procedure

    hi gurus,
we r using mrp pricing for retail invoice.how to configure it.is there any sap standard pric. procedure for mrp pricing..is there any need to create routines or standards r available.
can any body help regarding this
    regards
    reddy

    thanks
I want to create MRP based pricing.
In MRP based pricing all calculations are done by backward. For that i have to develop one formula which contains Multiplication & division, so for that i have to develop routine, how we define routine?
Is there any std. routine is available for MRP based pricing?
I explain the detail senario as follows:
My invoice value is 1000 which contains all the inclusive price containing Freight,P& F,Sales tax(CST or VAT),& Excise Duty which is calculated on based of MRP (67% of MRP Value-Assessable Value)
When i want to calculate 5% P&F which is already included in pricing for that i have to develop one formula for that like (A=Inv. Value * (100/100 + P&F=5))=A=952.38 . Inv Value = 1000
After this calculation I got the correct value for P&F like
Invoice Value- A (Which is calculated)=1000-952.38=47.62
same formulla i want to use for CST,VAT & Freight.
so i can calculate exact sales revenue value.
So plz send me detailed information about the same.
Also sed me how to develop the routine?
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Is There No Backward Compatibility With The New CC Release?

    Hi,
I've been really keen to have a go with the (eagerly anticipated!) new incarnation of Edge but having downloaded it - with a view to assessing it using the 30 day trial - I've discovered that nothing can be saved in a format that's backward compatible with the free version (1.5.0.217.23270).
I frequently need to send partially completed projects off for finishing by other participants who, now, may or may not have opted for a paid version of the software; so the need for compatible files is a crucial one for me. Have I missed something, or is there a workaround?
    Hope you can help

Thanks for the feedback, and as a former agency veteran myself I understand the pain point.
One thing to keep in mind is while the 1.5 version is perpetual, we'll be adding a lot more valuable features in the future which most definitely won't be compatible with 1.5. There's still a lot of critical features we'll be introducing which are must-haves in any animation software.
I'm not sure of the level of collaboration you're looking at but a great thing about Animate is the files are editable outside of the application itself. So if you have a little bit of coding know-how you can change design properties, images, and text through edge.js and actions.js. So for example, if you have a CC project someone and you just need to swap an image, you can relink the image in edge.js. Major edits (like tweaking a motion path) can technically be done with code but it would be really, really painful and better left to the tool
If you're interested in upgrading to get all the CC apps, Animate comes bundled with that. There's special pricing for students too (hint: doesn't really matter what you're a student of... take a cooking course and you're good to go)
Also if you have a serial laying around for any CS3+ product you can exchange that to get a discounted rate for Animate ($9.99USD/month).
Best of luck, and thanks for using Animate.

  • Forward and Reverse Pricing Calculations in the Same Pricing procedure

    Hello,
I have a requirement where the Pricing has to set up to do the forward as reverse calculations in the same pricing procedure,For example:
    There is :
    PR00-Base Price
    Less
    K004:Discount(%)
    will give
    ZN00:Net Price
    Less Cost
    EK02
    will give the Profit Margin-ZMAR
Forward calculation is possible as per SAP standard but the requirement is also to do reverse calculation such as
By entering Profit Margin-,The system should do a backward(Reverse calculation) and arrive on the Net price from the Net Price(ZN00) it should calculate the Duscount automatically.
Your inputs on this would be most helpful.
    Regards
    Mohammed Roshan

    hi,
In Sale Order / Billing, in normal circumstances, tax will be calculated on the base price.   On the other hand, if you want the system to reverse calculate, you can achieve the same.
In normal circumstances, system will calculate as follows:-,
you maintained the PR00 of a material as                                                           Rs 200.00
    and  Discount                                                                                Rs.  25.00
                            Net Value                                                                                Rs.175.00
If you want to reverse calculate which means your invoice value itself should be Rs.200.00 which is inclusive of Discount. Then your Discount condition type (or in case there is tax, any tax condition type - MWST / UTXJ) have the Calculation Type as u201CHu201D
With the above settings, your actual PR00 value would be 225.00 only, though you maintained Rs.200.00 for PR00.

  • Flash Media Server Priced to Lose?

I would note that I recently read a report where, I believe,
YouTube is going to the Apple platform. This I would have to
consider as a major direction for this streaming video technology.
Is this because the technology is better than Flash? I would have
to say no. Well then why? In my opinion the answer is easy. The
cost for streaming the products. The additional cost for streaming
Quicktime or Windows video is ZERO. The cost to stream Flash is
$4,500.00 per server. Prohibitive! The price to be hosted on one of
Adobe's primary streaming Flash providers? $500.00 per month! The
price to be hosted on a Windows server with Windows streaming?
$13.30 per month. Adobe even offers a hack to the Windows Server
software to stream Flash! In my opinion Flash is the best, most
option rich animation software period. In my opinion streaming is
the new technology for web sites. I would strongly suggest that
Adobe's pricing of their streaming server software is a great big
open door for people like Microsoft and Apple to take control of
the streaming technology in the future. You can bet that Bill Gates
and Steve Jobs have people working on exactly that right now. If
that is true that YouTube/Google are going to Quicktime that on
coming train is closer than they think.
Right now I liken buying and learning Flash CS3 to buying a
car and learning how to drive it only to find out later that to
drive it out of my driveway is cost prohibitive.
    See
    Forbes
from last year. They thought the same thing then and now YouTube is
    going to Quicktime.
Open Source Flash Streaming server software:

    > Why would they pay up to $4.500.00 per server to use
    Flash
    > when they can do it for free using Quicktime or Windows?
If QuickTime and Microsoft do offer free streaming software,
    and if
streaming is the true deal-breaker (not ubiquity of plug-in
    or, say,
interactivity with traditional Flash animation), then I
    imagine Adobe would
indeed take notice and compensate in their pricing structure.
    That's the
volatile beauty of a free market.
    > Earlier, refering to YouTube going to Quicktime you said

    agreed.
    Time will tell.
    > I would further argue that the success of Flash is
    because of the
    > progressive downloads which are great for short clips.
It's been great for long clips, too. I personally think much
    of the
success is also due to the "one stop shop" nature of Flash
    video: no need
for more than one plug-in. In addition, Flash offers keyed
    alpha that,
while supported in the other video platforms, doesn't seem to
    be supported
in their web implementations. (I could easily be wrong in
    that assessment;
it's just that I haven't seen any QuickTime or WMV files with
    transparent or
semi-transparent areas blended into the page in an apparently
non-rectangular way. I haven't seen QuickTime or WMV files
    rotated or
    skewed, either.)

    progressive
    > severly restricts the amount a viewer can use the
    controls to scroll

Yes, that's a weakness of progressive download.
    > Progressive also allows for one to stop the video and
    grab (steal)
    > content.
    Agreed, that's arguably another weakness.
    > And, yes, server software is not cheep but Apache is
    free.
    > One could set up a server using Apache and Darwin, both
    free,
    > and stream Quicktime.
Yes, and many do. Curiously, major motion picture studios
    seem to be
leaning more on Flash, in spite this free approach. (That may
    change, as
you've suggested, but it's interesting to me that Flash has
    taken so much
market share in light of free alternatives. That suggests to
    me it's about
    more than just streaming.)
    > Flash is great! I love it! Don't take me wrong.
No worries, douglask1, and I hope you don't take me wrong,
    either. I
just don't see how this sort of speculation is useful on a
    tech support
    forum.
    > For anyone that wants/needs to use streaming Flash, in
    my opinion,
    > has priced themselves out of the market.
That clearly cannot be, or there wouldn't be such a heavy
    Flash video
market. Again, if your suspicions are are correct, that may
    change, but in
the mean time, Flash video is enjoying a strong presence on
    the Web,
    streaming and not.
    > I guess you could use Flash and convert the videos to
    Quicktime
    > but how long do you think before good old Steve Jobs and
    his
    > team have a new version of Quicktime to compete with
    Flash CS3?
I guess I just don't think of Flash and QuickTime as the
    analogous
tools. Comparing those is like comparing apples to plum
    pudding. Yes,
QuickTime content is programmable -- I've seen some really
    neat examples
over the years -- but people barely seem to use it for that.
    Practically
speaking, they use it for video. In the same way, PDFs are
    somewhat
programmable, but people mainly use PDFs for "plain old"
    readable documents.
Who knows why? Meanwhile, Flash content (clearly the heavy
    lifter by
comparison, programming-wise) is being use all over the
    place. I honestly
can't think of a more versatile platform: illlustrations,

  • Pricing procedure of free goods

Could anyone please tell me the effect of pricing procedure in free godds? And what is the difference between pricing procedure in free goods(IMG->Sales and Distribution->Basic Funcions->Free Goods) and pricing procedure in pricing(IMG->Sales and Distribution->Basic Funcions->Pricing)

    Hi Wei Zhang,
When there are more than 2 materials say material A which is of some price, and material B which is Free of cost, then the item category will be different for those. TAN for Mat A and TANN for materail B.
Pricing is depends upon the customer pricing procedure and document pricing procedure along with the Sales Area.
When there are free Goods, Again yu have two conditions
    1. Give 100 % discount on free goods.
    2. Or charge 0 value for that.
This pricing procedure you can do in free goods priocing procedure.
    Hope this will help.
    Thanks,
    Raja

  • New VMS/IPC boxes - speed and pricing

For the most part, I've been a very happy FiOS customer. The internet side has gone out exactly once in the year I've had the service, and it was restored within an hour. TV has dropped out twice, both times very late at night (I assume for head-end maintenance). Reliability is better than every other ISP I've ever had, combined.
    That said..
I wanted to snag another STB for the house - found out the local stores had all been closed (I can understand why from the financial aspect, but it was still a shock pulling up to my old store to pick up another STB.. and finding a "for lease" sign, when I'd been by there 2 months prior), so I looked at options online. The new VMS + IPC boxes looked promising, especially since they added the ability for the entire house to pause, rewind, schedule recordings, etc, from any TV - instead of only the DVR being able to do that (though the old boxes could stream recordings from the DVR).
My chief complaint so far - while the VMS box itself is responsive, the IPC boxes are painfully slow to respond to anything. Picture quality is fantastic, but using them feels, to put it in nerd terms, like using a Pentium 90 with Windows XP and 128MB RAM. They take 5+ to respond to anything more than a channel change (and even that takes up to 3 seconds), and frequently "lose" remote key presses if you try to, say, hit guide, hit page down, then try to arrow down to the channel that you know is on the next page. It literally feels like a throwback to the earliest digital set top boxes from Comcast/Time Warner - the first ones with built-in TV listings in the mid 1990s. The speed is right on par with them; the only thing faster right now is they don't shut down for 30 minutes a day to update the TV listings.
I've gone through the built-in diagnostics on the boxes to verify signal levels - they're decent (not perfect, but this is a 20 year old house with mostly original coax), but we have no pixelation or picture drop-out, so I would think they could carry the basic stuff between the IPC boxes and VMS pretty easily. The router certainly has no problem handling the 75/35 on the same coax (speedtest shows 85-90 down, 35-40 up, with a ~5ms ping, no matter which cable outlet it's plugged into)..
My other complaint - why did Verizon move to "rooms" for pricing? I thought I was getting a DVR plus 3 STBs (since I ordered 3 STBs and asked for a DVR), instead of a VMS + 2 STBs - and I'm paying much more than I did for the old DVR + 2 STBs.
With the griping out of the way - is there a reasonable chance that firmware updates will help with the speed of the IPC boxes? Or is there a chance it's a cabling issue? (I have no problem pulling new coax or cat5e, and I can provide signal levels if that'll help) If not, is there any chance of getting the old QIP7232 DVR + QIP7100 box back (and adding another 7100), and switching back to what I was paying before? I know they're a bit antiquated (especially the 7100s), but they were much more responsive, and didn't make me want to throw the STBs through the window. It just seems really rediculous that I'm paying such a large premium (plus the "upgrade fee") for equipment that, in terms of the user experience, is much worse.
Again.. been a happy customer for a long time, but the new terminals are super painful to use.
    Thanks.

If this is the case.  I think I will wait till the bugs are worked out
Question what were you paying before and after for the boxes.   So what was the old DVR + 2 STB's and the new DVR plus 2 stb's
Trying to get an idea of what you meant by way more.  Most people said same pricing and a small $20 or so upgrade fee

  • How to update  pricing in open sale order

    Hi all
in open sale order suppose my basic price has been changed .how Can i update all open sales order basic price in one shot.

    Dear Sachin,
    Please follow the point as given below;
    1. In VTFL for your item category maintain pricing type as B if it is delivery related billing and if it is order related billing VTFA maintain pricing type as B and one more thing maintained Billing Quantity as C if you using VTFA and Billing Quantity as D if you using VTFL.
    2. Create the new condition records in VK11 for your new price ( Do not change the existing  condition record in VK12) with proper validity dates
    3. Use update button in billing the system will pick the new record by accessing VK11 in billing.
    Try this, it will work.
