Backward scheduling - Goods Issue date is off by a day in STO

Transit Calendar Assignment has 6 workdays (Mon-Sat)
Requested Delivery Date is 9/25 and GR end date listed is 9/25 (Thursday)
Transit Time in Route is set to 6 days
However, when intercompany PO is being created, GI date it calculates is 9/17 (Wednesday) 10:00PM (end of the day's workshift) when based on the transit time of 6 days and considering Sunday is a non-working day, it should be 9/18 (Wednesday)
That is: Delivery date (9/25) - 6 work days (mon-sat) = 9/18, but it is calculating 9/17 very end of shift 10:00 PM
Any Idea why this may be? There no GR processing time set.

Calculation of goods issue date in scheduling agreements with routes

Hello together,
i have a problem with the calculation of goods issue date in scheduling agreements when we use route, because the system ignore the days of transit.
Example:
We had customized the route 4711 with a transit time of 3 days. This route would be related to a scheduling agreement. But this setting has no influence to the calculation of the goods issue date for the schedules. The same happens with loading date and so on.
Can anyone give me a tip, which setting is additional necessary?

1, Route determination Path : IMG>sales and distribution>Basic function>Routes>Route determination
2, Activate the route Determination for your sales document type in following path :IMG>sales and distribution>Basic function>Routes>Route Schedule Determination-->Schedule with route schedule for sales document type
3, Maintain Delivery scheduling and transportation scheduling in the following path:IMG>sales and distribution>Basic function>Delivery scheduling and transportation scheduling>Maintain Duration

VA01: Align Good issue dates existing on Schedule line table.

Hi Experts,
     I will exemplify my question in order to make easier to understand it. I have a sales order with two lines. Both lines will have different routes determination due to those products have different classification (the first is non-dangerous and second on is dangerous). Dangerous items will have more transit time to get the customer than non-dangerous items. When we have different routes per line items in the sales order, the system will calculate schedule line dates (good issue date, material availability date) differently. However, what the Business wants is to deliver the goods at the same good issue date (VBEP-WADAT). So to get this approach we will have to:
- Check field complete delivery indicator).
- Set the route for non-dangerous good as same as dangerous good.
Both changes described above, it would be performed via USEREXIT. However, my problem is: When the non-dangerous item is the first item of the sales order, the system does not trigger again the calculation of the schedule line dates based on the new route (XVBAP[1]-ROUTE).
I have found out the routine that changes the schedule line dates, but I do not know how to use it. Do you have any other solution?

You can try with User Exit MV45AFZZ (USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE).
Try with XVBEP. Loop at this table and copy the WADAT into EDATU.

Goods issue dates are different in sales order & delivery

Hi,
We have a situation where in sales order schedule line tab goods issue date is 21.30.2011
but in delivery the planned GI date is 28.03.2011.
There are two line item in the sales order & in both the line items all the dates are same.
Same route is there in sales order & delivery.
In delivery Item category avalability check Off is Y(Do not check avail. when reporting results of pick.request)
All the dates(delivery,loading,Transportation planning) are different .

What was the Actual GI date in delivery?? This should be the same as schedule line date.

Billing date(fkdat) in sales order item is not copied from Goods Issue Date

Hi All
we are facing problem at item level billing date field.This field should be filled with the GI Date in schedule lines shipping tab.
but, it(billing date) is not being filled with goods issue date but, with the required deliver date at sales order header.
Please give me a solution and the root cause. This is urgent as business is halted.

"If invoice dates are defined for the customer, the system proposes the billing date from the invoice date calendar. If no invoice dates are agreed, then the actual goods issue date is formed on the basis of delivery related billing. In order related billing, the billing date of the order forms the basis of the billing date."
earlier it is happening as desired.i.e., billing date=GI Date.
but, as of now it is taken from the required delivery date.
Please give me solution

Calculation of goods issue date in sales order with routes

Hello Gurus,
This is my first post on SCN, I'm excited to share a new little problem I have.
I have configured my routes determination as per our requirements. For example, I have one route configured in 0VTC such that the transit duration is 1 hour.
When I create a sales order, I enter that route (1 hour transit.dur) under shipping on the line item. Then I set a delivery date sometime in the future to test out my config. Looking at the shipping "Goods Issue Date", I see that the date is 2 hours earlier than my delivery date. It's supposed to be 1 hour.
I looked through many forums and found no help on this. My factory calendar is configured such that all days, including weekends and holidays are production days.
Please advise at your earliest.

Yes, I am changing the date in the "schedule lines" tab for the sales order to a date next week, say May 23, 2014. When I click on the display "Shipping" info, I see:
1) Delivery date: 05/23/2014 - 00:00
2) GI Date: 05/22/2014 - 22:00:00
The expectation is to have the GI date 23:00:00 since my config for the route on the sales order is for 1 hr of transit time only.

Sales order creation date is when u raise a sales order in favor of the customer using VA01.......using ATP logic system purposes the material availability date....
after saving ur sales order...when u raise the Delivery using VL01n w.r.t to OR...than u have to perform picking ....In the picking Tab...specify the amount to be picked than press Post Good Issue....means the goods left the company premises ..
You can the fetch the values using tables- Use T code SE12 or SE16

Want to change Del Date and Goods Issue date in Delivery scdl tab of PO

Hi Gurus,
I am in a situation wherein i need to change the Goods Issue date in Delivery schedule tab of Purchase Order and make it equivalent to Delivery date in the same tab.
Currently the Goods issue date that is taken by default will always be one day after the Delivery date.
Where is the control for this???

Thanks for your response. You are right. The Process is STO.
The delivery has not been created as yet. Everything is happening while creating the PO. The settings are such that the delivery date will be taken by the system automatically by doing the Availability check and simultaneously the goods issue date will be updated. But it will be one day later to the delivery date. But i want this to be same.
Incase if i change the Goods Issue date manually, this is the message i get "Goods issue cannot be carried out in the past"

New planned goods issue date during delivery creation due to changed route

Hello All,
I have defined 2 routes with different values for transit time and transporation lead times. I have configured routes such that in order creation - route A is determined and while delivery creation due to weight group - delivery B is determined.
Now for Route A i have maintained transit time of 3 days and Transportation lead time of 4 days and for Route B it is 1 day each.
Delivery scheduling is active for the order type.
Now when i create the order with a delivery date of say 05/24/2010 then (route A with transit time of 3 days) is determined and the planned goods issue date of 05/21/2010 is in the order.
Now while creating delivery (Route B which has transit time 1 day) is determined due to the weight group. But the planned goods issue date is still the same 05/21/2010 as in order.
I am assuming that since the route B has a route of 1 day so the planned goods issue date should be re-determined to 05/23/2010? IS there no scheduling done during delivery creation even though route and subsequently transit time has changed?
Please let me know the answer to this...

Hi ,
You can use TA - MASS . Enter object type - BUS2032(for sales orders) on initial screen and select sales item data.
Next screen enter selection fields like sales order no and items. After giving order no and item range , execute and enter all new values for any item data fields. After pressing button "carry out mass change", don't forget to press save button.

Good Issue date in the Sales order should 1 day difference from the MBDAT

For the particular customer, i want to have difference of 1 day in between the material availability date & good issue date in the schedule line. As per standard i can't made any changes in route and shipping point. Suppose material availability date in sales order is 22.09.2010 than my good issue date should be 23.09.2010 in the sales order. Any body having any idea how can we handle this case and what are things we need consider impact of this change.

Hi,
I think you can easily enable this in Route scheduling /Delivery scheduling. You have to maintain the load time and pick/pack time as the total of 8hours. If this is done, then after material availability date, one more day will be added and the final day will be considered as GI date.
If you dont want to do this, you only have to enable this by Z by using a user exit where you can add one day to the MBDAT and update that in GI date.

Delivery date and goods issue date anomaly

I am seeing issue in client site where when an order is entered for customer with a delivery date in December 2010 the goods issue date and loading are all correct. Soon as I put a delivery date after Jan 6, 2011 all the dates become the same. For example I enter Jan 29, 2011 as delivery all the goods issue, loading etc become Jan 29, 2011. Is there some config issue somewhere causing this issue.

this is all happening because
when you entered the customer and material in sales order the system automatically prompts the delivery date of the material.
because in SPRO there is a setting called - DELIVERY SCHEDULING AND TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULING. with the help of factory calendar or shipping point calendar.
in the same process it has shown these dates and these dates might be the tentative because material may not be available at that time & as soon as you changed the delivery date in the system manually again system will do RE ATP and would have given confirmed date as 14.01.2001 & basing on the confirmed date every date follows.
this is standard behaviour of the system.
