Hi,
in your enterprise manager, look at your tablespaces/datafiles.
Maybe there's one that is full, and you need to enable "autoextend" mode so it can grow bigger.
OR
you don't have enough space on C: (or other partition).

WinXP Ok vs Win2000 Bad character mode report

Hello,
We have a character mode report designed and running in a Windows XP machine.
To make it work was necessary to create a custom PRT file that contains the condensed and non condensed codes used by the report.
After some tries it is running ok.
But it will be used in a Windows 2000 Server machine. After installing reports and patches we made a copy of the custom prt file file used in the XP installation and tested.
Unfortunately it doesn't work and the printed page is totally misformated. It seems that the control characters doesn't work...
Trying to understand wy, we use the "print to file" option in xp machine. The control characters are generated ok: "".
Doing the same thing when running in a Win2000 machine it generates wrong control characters.
In addition, if we open the file generate by the Win2000 machine in the WinXP machine, the control characters seems to be ok.
Does anyone know why does it occur and/or how to fix that?

OK people, the problem is solved!
The problem was the Epson Dfx5000 printer driver! WinXp and Win2K drivers have a thing in the property page called Advanced Features which has to do with the way the data is spooled to the printer. If you turn it on (default), you get bitmap reports all the time, otherwise you get what you want correctly. This was found by my Supervisor.

RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary.

Z77A-GD65 won't post

My newly built PC wouldn't start the other day:
Z77A-GD65 motherboard
Core i5 3570K
8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
GTX 660
Corsair TX 750W PSU
Corsair Hydro 100i CPU Cooler
Corsair Obsidian 650D tower
It sort of tried to power up, fans would start spinning and then 1 second later it would all power down. This cycle would continue until I switched it off at the PSU. I took a look inside and noticed that the DRMOS red LED was lighting up. The LED 1 was also flashing blue.
All the reading I did on the problem suggested either the PSU or the motherboard was on the blink, so before I RMAed the motherboard I bought a new Corsair CX 750M PSU and set the motherboard on a wooden table top with just the RAM, CPU and standard Intel cooler inserted.
Now the DRMOS light no longer comes on but the LED 1 light flashes and goes out, the system "reboots", this cycle continuing until I switch off the power. The CPU fan isn't even spinning up now though.
Now 2 things:
1. The motherboard I got cheap as an "open box" item from Aria PC, so I have a feeling it may have been dodgy to begin with.
2. My old PSU didn't have an 8-pin EPS connector so I bought an adapter than plugged into the old style standard 4-pin IDE drive power connector. I hope this hasn't somehow fried the motherboard!
I can't find anything that tells me what the LED 1 light flashing on its own in this way means. Does anyone know?
Please tell me it's just the motherboard that's fried and not my beloved 3570K!
Should also say the debug LED panel doesn't even light up with any values and I've also tried switching the BIOS to A (it was set to B for some reason). I've also tried clearing the CMOS. Didn't help.

Agree. It sounds so close to working. Maybe the onboard graphics will work to try and figure out how to get it set up right.

Hi, all.
I used to record audio and video from a webcam with ffmpeg. My typical command line is:
/usr/bin/ffmpeg -y -f alsa -ac 1 -acodec pcm_s16le -vol 256 -ss 00:00:01.0 -i plughw:0,0 -f v4l2 -r 30 -s 640x480 -i /dev/video0 -t 63 -b:v 400000 /tmp/test.mpeg
Up to ffmpeg-1:2.2.1-1 and its dependence x265-0.9-1 everything was ok. But upgrading to ffmpeg-1:2.3-1/x265-1.2-1 produces .mpeg video files with inaudible audio. Encoding to a .mkv file works fine, but is too much cpu consuming for my proposes.
Recording audio and video separately to lately combine them also results in mute videos. I could not figure out whether to problem is caused by ffmpeg or libx265. Version 2.3.1 of ffmpeg did not solve the problem. By now I am using the downgraded packages. I would appreciate any better solution.
One curious fact about the issue: it occurs with kernels 3.14.x and 3.16.x, but with any subversion of kernel 3.15, the ffmpeg command above freezes in a process impossible to kill.

I upgraded today to ffmpeg-1:2.3.3-1 and the issue partially improved. Now there is out of sync audio while playing videos in mplayer but none in vlc. Also videos appear like watching with fast forward.
Vlc outputs to terminal: "[0x7f1c74006f38] mpgatofixed32 audio converter error: libmad error: bad bitrate/mode combination".

In our BI pre-prod system we trying to test the BI data load.
It stopped giving this error in SM21
Database error -968 at FET
SQL0968C The file system is full. SQLSTATE=57011
Database error -968.
Our BI is 7.0 version ,DB2 8.1, AIX 5.3.
I checked in db2diag.log and found that temporary tablespace was full at that time.
Following is some example from db2diag.log.

One of the file systems containing the database is full. This file system may contain the database directory, the database log files, or a table space container.
The statement cannot be processed.
User response:
Free system space by erasing unwanted files. Do not erase database files. If additional space is required, it may be necessary to drop tables and indexes identified as not required.
On unix-based systems, this disk full condition may be due to exceeding the maximum file size allowed for the current userid. Use the chuser command to update fsize. A reboot may be necessary.
This disk full condition may be caused when containers are of varying sizes. If there is sufficient space in the file system, drop the table space and recreate it with containers of equal size.

sqlstate: 57011
Please check also the other filesystems that belong to the database, not only the one where PSAPTEMP16 is included.
Check, if you are using quotas in your system.

Activity Journal Text Not Active - Windows Gui

We have several activity types with associated journals.
We create an activity with multiple journal entries.
The text type associated with the corresponding journal entry is not active when you select the corresponding journal entry. In order to set the text box to active for the corresponding journal entry, the item must first be selected and the Text ( Process Journal Text ) pushbutton must be hit. This process must be repeated to create, change, and or display text for every journal entry where there is text.
Very clunky, highly prone to error. SAP got this one right in R/2. Can't figure out why it works this way in CRM.
Does any one have any suggestions for badi, enhancements, mods, work arounds, etc..., to make this work a little more like R/3 item text?

Hi,
Actually this is not in CRM 2007 because of the level of usage (of customers) compared to the complexity the UI would have following the WebClient UI paradigm.
This specific feature seems to be very rarely used (I don´t know any customer using that) and therefore was given a lower priority. Maybe replying "SAP is looking into it" is not reflecting it correctly as we still have this function on our laundry list.
Do/Did you use this function in CRM 5.0. Does anyone else use that function?
Just let me know either by e-mail oder in this thread.

hi
im using premiere pro cs3 for a while
and i have 2 problems
1 that when im having into premiere compressed files such as avi/wmv/mov etc..
its sometimes not working smooth and must be rendered
but 1 rendering of the entire video itn't enought
each effect im adding must be rendered again and again so i can watch it smoothly and it makes me loose too much time
and the render isn't really working fast
im using windows xp and have 3.5 ghz of ram and have
Pentium(R )Dual-Core CPU
processor e5200 2.5 ghz
when im using uncompressed mpg files it working smooth and there are no problems
but when im adding compressed files such as avi/wmv etc
its sometimes works very slow
specially when im adding HD files in format mp4 hat i've copied from my video camera
my questions are:
1. What can i do to make it work faster from the begining?
it there a special uncompressed format that i can convert to in order it will work faster without loosing quality?
2. When rendering.. exporting.. can i use external codec such as Huffyuv the loseless and fast codec? if yes how?

well i have sony webbie mhs-pm1 camera and i have couple of movies that i've shoted
and i tried each one of those editing modes:
so maybe im using bad editing mode?
anyway in all of them the smoothness of the playback is working like crap
(and i didn't mentioned yet about adding effects, that is much more crummy)
about limiting portions in the WAB i know and i do that, the problem is it also takes much time.
because in the begining i must render the entire video otherwise i can't watch the playback preview
on the other hand, when i took my sister's wedding DVD-R,
i took the VOB files and changed them to MPG and everything worked perfect, even when i've added effects and everything
no renderings were needed at all.
So what can i do that the playbacks
of the HD videos from the camera will work smooth in PR?

Cannot install Native Application silently

I have an existing Native Application installed that I'm trying to update silently, i.e. without being prompted if I want to replace the application. In command prompt on Windows 7 x64 I have tried the following:
C:\NativeAppUpdate.exe -silent
The command fails with the following message:
failed due to bad configuration
At this point I Googled the error and came across a post on this forum of something experiencing a similar issue. Adobe suggested using the ARH tool to get a better understanding of what the error was. So I tried the ARH tool as follows:
arh -installAppSilent NativeAppUpdate.exe
Unfortunately that failed too with the following message:
Failed (consult log)
So I looked at the log and found the following entries:

It says it's not an AIR file, which is correct. However if I run the update file without the silent argument, it asks me if I want to replace the application and installs fine. So why does it fail when the silent argument is used and is there any other way around this?

I just tried again now but it didn't work.
With AIR Runtime 3.1, here is what I did:
1) Create a Flex Project (Desktop Application with Flex SDK 4.6.0)
2) Export Native Installer package, called NativeAppTest_1.0.0.exe
3) Edit the application xml file and change <versionNumber> value "1.0.0" to "1.0.1"
4) Export Native Installer package, called NativeAppTest_1.0.1.exe
5) Copy both installers to C:\
5) Install C:\NativeAppTest_1.0.0.exe
6) From command prompt, run "C:\NativeAppTest_1.0.1.exe -silent"
The following is returned:
C:\>NativeAppTest_1.0.1.exe -silent
C:\>failed due to bad configuration
With AIR Runtime 3.3 installed, the same thing happens. The log file says:

I noticed the logs keep saying Windows 7 x86 but I'm actually running Windows 7 x64.
Could this be the problem? If not, what else could I try?

AdobeAIRInstaller.exe -silent myApp.air update?

Is it possible to use the AdobeAIRInstaller.exe to do a -silent update to an air application?
We're deploying the app using MS SMS and the installation is fine, however when trying to do an update we get the "failed due to bad configuartion" message, looking at the log reveals:
Bad configuration: mode is silent install, but the app is installed
Allowing the application to update itself using the Updater api doesn't seem to be an option as we need to control when the udpate is done and elevate the necesscary permissions at that point, the users won't have admin privileges so won't be able to do the update.
Am I missing something obvious here?

Touch problem is back

When i bought the tablet the screen was with a problem, this problem you can see on yutube easily. When you try to slide the screen miss your finger and is like you take out the finger and put it back. When the tablet was updated to 4.4.3 the problem was ajusted and wth 4.4.4 was totally solved, and now with lollipop the problem is worst than ever, is anyone having this same trouble?

I also have this problem. It has always been the same for me in that to fix you just have to turn screen off then on again. about 1 in 4 times you turn on the screen it will be in bad detection mode when it doesn't register touches or when swiping will lose and regain touch. (especially bad in the lower portion of the screen for me)
Anyway if you notice it being bad just press power button twice to lock and unlock and it will be fixed until the next time. Really wish sony could fix this, seems like a software issue but not sure. Maybe its something to do with being able to wake device by double tapping screen? maybe its stuck in a low powered touch mode? Can that mode be dissabled?

AUM not re-using expired UNDO extents

Hi there,
The space consumption in the UNDO tablespace is continuesly growing.
I've increased the size of the UNDO tablespace several times now (currently 400M) but this offers no permanent solution (datafiles are set in no autoextent mode).
It's possible to calculate the maximum size that you need for your UNDO tablespace using certain values from v$undostat and v$parameter.
According to this calculation our UNDO tablespace shouldn't be larger than 100M.
It looks like there is a problem with re-using expired UNDO extents, as indicated below (SUM(EXPBLKREUCNT) = 0 ):
SQL> select sum(EXPSTEALCNT), sum(EXPBLKRELCNT), sum(EXPBLKREUCNT) from v$undostat;
SUM(EXPSTEALCNT): 7
SUM(EXPBLKRELCNT): 1792
SUM(EXPBLKREUCNT): 0
Does anyone experience the same problem ?

You just add 'numlock' to DAEMONS in rc.conf
can You test it works for everybody? And submit me any suggestions?

XFI Titanium high dpc latency after installing creative console launcher

HXFI Titanium high dpc latency after installing creative console launcher=im using windows 7 64 bit sp(rtm) this also happens with normal windows 7 64 bit(without sp).
when only installing the driver for the XFI titanium my dpc latency is between 0-50 with spikes that go to 90.
this also happens when I don't have any drivers installed.(windows high definition default driver)
however when I install the creative console launcher my dpc latency is allways above 00 and most of the time between 00-200 with spikes to +-400.
im using PAX PCIe Titanium ALL OS Driver V3.25, and creative console launcher 2.6.49 beta.
my question is can I use game mode without installing the console launcher?
is there a version of the console launcher that doesn't cause higher dpc latency?

Maybe a bad driver mod. Try Creative own drivers/CD first and see what happens.
