Bad date when pressing Reply

Using Tiger 10.4.4 and Mail 2.0.5 (746/746.2).
I've just noticed that when I press the Reply button to reply to an email it doesn't give me the current date and time. Tried re-booting but no change.
Instead it gives me
On 2006-Feb-06, at 1:16 PM, or
On 2006-Feb-06, at 12:20 PM,
The times are the correct times from the received email but the date is rubbish. The Date and Time shown in the menu bar are correct and also in System Preferences.
Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone know what's happening here?
I have nothing special in the way of SW on the machine- it's pretty much all Apple SW.

I went to the Date/Time preferences and International settings and re-established them. But I used a 4 digit date instead of a 2 digit one in the format of yyyymmdd whereas befaore I had used just yymmdd. Sigh...

Why people get a wierd email address along side my main address when I reply through iPhone?

it was brought to my attention that we I sent a reply to someone through iPhone, first the recipient doesnt see my address in "From" and when they hit reply back to me, another strange email appears along side my email.
For example: I emailed "[email protected]", she gets my email but my email address doenst appear in the "From" field and when press reply back to me, two address appear "mine" and this strange address "[email protected]" which btw keeps chaning with each email exchange to [email protected] o or [email protected]..etc
and this only happens when I send an email from iPhone..it doesnt appear when I use my desktop email client.
is this a normal thing?

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

I know it sounds confusing. Essentially I have to re-register to get into my Adobe Photoshop 3.2. But they are no longer giving access codes when you go though the registration process. I checked my "online account" and there are no records of my registration for this. I had this program, used this program and I can even see my pictures all lined up behind the "registration" box that pops up (and then kicks me out of the program when I hit "register later"). I just want a registration number...any number...that will allow me to open up the PS 3.2 and allow me access to my pictures. I was told by one of the more sympathetic online CSR's via email that I could call the 800 number and hopefully get another number, but I run the battery out on my hand held phone waiting on hold for so long...I am not kidding you. This seems like a very very simple matter...just give me an access code...but it has turned remarkably frustrating because I cannot reach a live person to ask. You would think Adobe would not be happy that customers would have to wait so long...because why would you ever want to actually purchase an Adobe product if you know for certain that there is no support for it. It is somewhat making up my mind on Adobe products. Again, I cannot retrieve these pictures with a search, they are not in the digital camera folder as someone advised before. I would love any and all feedback on what to do about this. Is it possible that the files are corrupted? Yes...but why can I clearly see the photos behind the registration box. Please, anyone, help!

Have set up alias identity in Thunderbird, but when recipient of email presses 'Reply All' it shows my other identity email

I have set up a default alias identity (call this E2) in my Thunderbird email account. But when I send a message using E2 in the 'from' box, when the recipient comes to reply and selects 'Reply All', my other identity (the actual main name of my mailbox, call it E1) is shown in the CC/BC box. I do not want my other main identity (E1) email showing at all when they reply, just E2. Can anyone advise? Thank you very much.

I have seen in the past that it may help to also fill out the reply-to field of your identity with the new e-mail address. Could you please try that?

Received an email with attachment when I replied to the email; i can no longer view the attachement

When replying to an email with attachment, later when I need to review the attachedment, it can't and just gives a file name <????.pdf> i tried to search my downloads and documents for the file pdf but cant be located.
It seems that attachments are lost when you reply to an email?

Try a reset ...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

When i reply in my webmail software the cursor is now at the very end of textbox, not at the very beginning as it has been since "day 1"l

when I reply to an email, a new window opens and the cursor is now located at the very end of the window. with all previous versions of Firefox the cursor was positioned at the very beginning of the window.

It sounds like you are seeing some odd performance issues with Logic Pro X. I recommend these troubleshooting steps specifically from the following article to help troubleshoot what is happening:

Verify that your computer meets the system requirements for Logic Pro X

Test using the computer's built-in audio hardware
If you use external audio hardware, try setting Logic Pro X to use the built-in audio hardware on your computer. Choose Logic Pro X > Preferences > Audio from the main menu and click the Devices tab. Choose the built in audio hardware from the Input Device and Output Device pop-up menus. If the issue is resolved using built-in audio, refer to the manufacturer of your audio interface.
Start Logic with a different project template
Sometimes project files can become damaged, causing unexpected behavior in Logic. If you use a template, damage to the template can cause unexpected results with any project subsequently created from it. To create a completely fresh project choose File > New from Template and select Empty Project in the template selector window. Test to see if the issue is resolved in the new project.
Sometimes, issues with the data in a project can be repaired. Open an affected project and open the Project Information window with the Project Information key command. Click Reorganize Memory to attempt to repair the project. When you reorganize memory, the current project is checked for any signs of damage, structural problems, and unused blocks. If any unused blocks are found, you will be able to remove these, and repair the project. Project memory is also reorganized automatically after saving or opening a project.
Delete the user preferences
You can resolve many issues by restoring Logic Pro X back to its original settings. This will not impact your media files. To reset your Logic Pro X user preference settings to their original state, do the following:
In the Finder, choose Go to Folder from the Go menu.
Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field.
Press the Go button.
Remove the com.apple.logic10.plist file from the Preferences folder. Note that if you have programmed any custom key commands, this will reset them to the defaults. You may wish to export your custom key command as a preset before performing this step. See the Logic Pro X User Manual for details on how to do this. If you are having trouble with a control surface in Logic Pro X, then you may also wish to delete the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file from the preferences folder.
If you have upgraded from an earlier version of Logic Pro, you should also remove~/Library/Preferences/Logic/com.apple.logic.pro.
Restart the computer.

Reinstall Logic Pro X
Another approach you might consider is reinstalling Logic Pro X. To do this effectively, you need to remove the application, then reinstall Logic Pro X. In the Finder, choose Applications from the Go menu.
Locate the Logic Pro X application and drag it to the trash.
Open the Mac App Store
Click the Purchases button in the Mac App Store toolbar.
Sign in to the Mac App Store using the Apple ID you first used to purchase Logic Pro X.
Look for Logic Pro X in the list of purchased applications in the App Store. If you don't see Logic Pro X in the list, make sure it's not hidden. See Mac App Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases for more information.
Click Install to download and install Logic Pro X.

Using webmail in Mozilla Firefox 17.0.1 on Windows 8, original messages get turned into html code when I reply to or forward them. How can I fix this?

I have tried re-setting Firefox and working in Safe Mode, but the problem still recurs. I use Fastmail as my webmail server and never had this problem on Windows XP or Windows 7. When I reply to a message, the original message is turned into html code. The same happens when I forward a message.
My JavaScript is up to date, in case that's relevant. The Fastmail support team suggested the problem would be Firefox-related.
The other function of my Fastmail account that isn't working properly in Firefox 17.0.1. is the search function.
Do I need to get new plugins or something? I don't know where the HTML editor is in Firefox or if that's what's wrong.

Thanks for your reply, cor-el. Norton 360 came pre-installed on the laptop as part of the package I bought. I haven't changed the pre-set firewall or anti-virus settings. Should I change something?
I will try rebooting in Windows Safe mode as you say and report if that makes any difference.

Boolean button changes color briefly when pressed

Hi, I am using Boolean button as a toggle, so I only want text changes when it is pressed with no changes to button appearance.
I am able to change the color for On in properties to match the Off color (I am using the Silver palette so normally On is yellow), however when the boolean button is changes to On, there's a brief changes of color still. Is there any way I can get rid of it?
In fact some of my buttons blink black while others blink yellow. I have no idea where that is set.

There are 4 colors for booleans ON and OFF plus going from ON to OFF and going from OFF to ON
You only see the transition color when you have the Mech latching set to "latch when released"
Set it to "Latch when pressed" and you will not see the transition colors
You can set all 4 colors by using the Colors [4] Property

How can I see all the recipients of an email when I reply?

When I reply to an email that was sent to multiple people, I want to be able to see the original email header that shows the date, time, everyone who received it, etc. In other words, I'd like to see the original header that way it shows when I forward an email.
For example, when I reply to an email, I see this above the original email:

Could you try to edit the question information as you have displayed personal information such as email addresses. This is a google searchable webpage and so the whole world, including spammers can see the email addresses.
If you use Reply or Reply all the info you describe is not inserted because the person(s) receiving it already know their own email address as they sent the email in the first place.
If you use Forward then you are sending the info to another person. They of course will not have received any email, so will not know who has received it, hence the inclusion of email addresses.
So it is all logical.
i'll have a look to see what if anything can be changed.

BPC 10.0 NW - Journal data when clearing the data

Hej Gurus,
I have a quite simple question:
When a journal i created and posted in the system, the journal is stored in a specific table for the model, and the data is stored in the cube. What is going to happen with the journals, if we clear the cube for all data, both journal and non-journal data. Will the journals still be posted in the journal table?
The reason is, we have some scattered bad data that we would like to have cleared, and we want to know, if we can delete all data and import everything again without the journal postings are gone.

Hi Mikkel
Journal stored in Journal Table along with BP Cube. Any point of time you want to delete due to Bad data. First you have to Unpost Journals that means No Effect in Journals or No Financials update. Then you can clear BPC Cube data.
When you are ready for Journals just simply Post from Unpost Journals. This process will ensure your data integrity.
Otherwise you will have to face again bad data issue.
In Short :
When you decide to Delete Data from Cube:
1. Unpost Journals from Post
2. Delete Data from BPC Cube( from Backend)
3, Re-load Transactional Data
4. Post Journals from Unpost
