The link to the WIN OS download of OAS 10g currently points to linux software.

Where you can download all the linux software you like but very little Win32 software.

The links are now fixed. The Metadata Repository creation assistant is also availble from the windows download page.
90402 is the latest that supports 10g DB with ASM. Currently you can find 90401 on OTN. It will be updated to 90402 this week.

Bad link for download

I've tried to download the "Treo Voice Dialing" download from the bonus software area at http://ws.palm.com/. I get the screen to enter my serial number. Once I enter that (and it usually takes about 3 or 4 tries of entering the CORRECT s/n for it to get accepted), I get a "We're sorry - page not found" error. Any suggestions? ftp site? something? I don't want to use the data capability through my phone as I don't have a data plan.

I'm still having a problem. I've tried using both IE and Firefox and they both fail. Once my S/N is accepted there is a really quick message on the window that states something like - "if the download doesn't start click here" but the window either is too small to get to the link and/or it goes by too fast. Once this message goes away the "bad link" message pops up.

If you are running Lion or Mountain Lion, the drivers are downloaded from within Bootcamp Assistant. If you are running Snow Leopard the drivers are on your Snow Leopard install disk.

In Firefox Options / Privacy be sure "Remember download history" is checked. To see all of the options on that panel, "Firefox will" must be set to "Use custom settings for history".
To find your OS information, on your Windows desktop, right-click the My Computer icon, choose Properties, under System on that small window is info about your OS.

Windows 10 download link not working

Hi,
I tried to download the windows 10 technical preview iso file and every time the downloaded file is only 13kb. Is there something wrong with the download link?

Which one are you asking about ? It started with Build 9841 which is the first Win 10 TP, and then comes the Build 9860.

Bad Link In download SubInACL for reset_fp10.zip file

Someone must have updated the page and pasted the wrong link into the 'download reset_fp10.zip file' link, because it just reloads the same page it's already in, instead of loading a .zip file.

I'm still having a permissions problem on one of my user accounts on an xp
sp3 Home edition system. Maybe you can give me some guidance. The user
account is the original owner admin account, and plays flash content, has a
successful installation according to the Adobe sites, but won't play linked
flash windows or pop-up flash links. This owner account was set as limited,
but is changed to admin sometimes for installations, etc. The flash problem
dates back more than a year, I believe, but I've only recently started
wrestling with it.

I tried using the script from this artilce:

Lately I've been using this article

Creator\Owner has full control to this key & subkeys for most keys listed in
the article, and users have read control to this key and subkeys, the
(renamed) owner has (special) full control only to this key, and not
subkeys. Will that keep the pop-up flash links from running? (I get a
white window, and rt. Click gives non-working flash settings.)
This is a poor description, I'm afraid, but I'm hesitant to alter the
registry permissions without knowing exactly what permissions to grant this
admin account, so I don't compromise the security of the system. That was
the reason for running as a limited account in the first place.
Some keys simply don't have the renamed owner listed, and when I tried to
add it in, wouldn't allow it because the object name couldn't be found.
(for example, in swf key, where permissions list is Administrators, Creator
Owner, System, Everyone, and Users).
Yet the symptoms indicate that this particular user account is not getting
permission to play linked flash content.
If someone could give me an indication of which keys control that, or an
understanding of whether this owner needs normal full & read permissions for
this key & subkeys, as well as special full permissions for this key only,
for whatever keys I need to check, I'd be relieved to experiment a bit and
see if I can turn the flash on for that account. Two other admin user
accounts have no troubles playing any flash content at all.

Bad OTN link to 1.6 download for HP-UX

I went to download HTMLDB 1.6 for HP-UX from the OTN site for HTMLDB. But seems to be pointing to the older companion CD 10.1.0.2.0, which is the one we installed 1.5 from. I see that the HTMLDB 1.6 link for Linux points to a companion CD 10.1.0.3. No doubt the current HP-UX realease is out there on OTN (somewhere), it just looks like a bad link from the HTMLDB site.

HTML DB 1.6 is a separate download, which is not yet found on the Companion CD. If you follow the trail from HP-UX, you'll see a link for it under the Oracle Database 10g Companion CD Release 1 (10.1.0.2) for HP-UX heading.

Bad link for "Earth Crisis"

After doing a search for earth crisis, the top two results are:
Steel Pulse Reggae
Earth Crisis Alternative
Clicking Earth Crisis brings up all of the cd's by Steel Pulse, as search results, while clicking steel pulse brings up their CDs. Bad Link??? Any word on why this seems to be mix matched?

Windows 7 Download error - CDBOOT: Couldn't Find BOOTMGR

I'm downloading Windows 7 Professional from a disc. I downloaded the support software to a USB flash drive using bootcamp, and that all went fine. Then I chose the partition size, put in my Windows 7 disc, it partitioned & rebooted, and I thought it was supposed to boot up to the Windows installation. But it comes up with a black screen with a flashing prompt up in the upper left corner. So then I read on further in the bootcamp instructions & it said if I had problems restart the computer holing the option key, which I did. The screen comes up with the choice to pic MacHD or the Windows CD. I click on the Windows CD & it goes to another black screen, but now up in the upper left hand corner it says CDBOOT: Couldn't find BOOTMGR. So then I talked to an Apple Senior Tech & he told me the Windows disc had to be damaged or no good. So I went to the place I bought it & they gave me another copy. I came home & restarted my computer again holding the option key, selected the Windows CD & the same error comes up! I can't imagine having 2 bad copies of Windows 7. So what could the problem be? PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks!

Do you have any USB drives inserted into the machine at the time of restart? If you have the flash drive that contains the Bootcap drivers plugged in while trying to boot to cd it could cause problems. I know I have run into this exact problem before. I know logically Windows should be able to tell that if a drive doesn't have an OS it shouldn't try to boot to it but Windows is stupid so it doesn't think like a Mac. Just uplug all USB devices except mouse keyboard and External CD Drive if there is one. Makes it easier for Windows. If this doesn't help let us know and we will try to think of somethign else.

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

Bad links to songs on Itunes

When I got my new computer, I accidently imported my songs more than once. I ended up with two, three, or once even nine copies of certain songs. As I have been deleting them from my folder, the songs keep appearing on I-Tunes, but come up as bad links when I click on them. Is there a way to make I-Tunes automatically delete the bad links that are created?

Have you set up WIndows so it will always use the same drive letter for that exHD? Plugging in cameras, etc to different USBs can make windows reassign things on you.
