i have installed EP 6.0 SP09 sneak preview
i would be interested in starting the VC applications
i have already installed Adobe SVG viewer and Microsoft XML Praser
but till i m getting en error "bad or missing storyboard configuration file ( studio.ini)"
how should i resolve this error

Install the "IE6SP2" in your system Registry..

Error during accessing VC - Storyboard configuration file

Hi.
When I try to use VC on my desktop (winXP sp2 - Internet Explorer browser v.6.0.2900.2180 sp2) show me a popup with the following message:

If I try to use Firefox (latest release) I have only a black page.

How to enforce a different configuration file while invoking SAPShcut.exe

I'm using sapshcut.exe to logon to SAP. Following is syntax of command that Iu2019m using for that prupose:
sapshcut.exe /sysname=IDES /client=800 /user=xxxx /pwd=yyyy
By default, the configuration file (saplogon.ini) that is being used during this process by sapshcut.exe is located in user directory (SAP GUI 7.2). However, Iu2019d like to use a different configuration file that is located at other location (e.g., h:/test/saplogon.ini). SAP has mentioned to use additional parameter "INI_FILE" for that purposes so Iu2019m using following command:
sapshcut.exe /sysname=IDES /client=800 /user=xxxx /pwd=yyyy /INI_FILE=h:/test/saplogon.ini
No matter what value I defined for the u2018INI_FILEu2019 parameter, SAP ignores it and always uses default configuration file located in the user directory and if given SAP system does not exist in that configuration file then I report an error. Interestingly, I found that if use 'saplogon.exe' instead of 'sapshcut.exe' and provide same parameter value for 'INI_FILE' parameter then SAP overwrite the default configuration file and uses saplogon.ini defined there. But i cannot use saplogon.exe as I must have to use sapchcut.exe to directly log into SAP system for automation testing.
I've also found out that the only way sapshcut.exe can overwrite the default ini file is through the use of environment variable "SAPLOGON_INI_FILE". But rather than using environment variable I'd like to define configuration file during the command line.
Any help would be really appreciated.

We stumbled upon the same problem. Thank you for mentioning that using the environment variable works.
This leads to the following single command line as a workaround.
First set the needed saplogon.ini and then execute in a nested command shell the call to sapshcut.exe
cmd /c set SAPLOGON_INI_FILE=C:\config\saplogon.ini & cmd /c "%ProgramFiles%\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui\sapshcut.exe" -user= -pw= -language=E -system=XXX -client=100
This works, but only if there is not already an instance of saplogon.exe running with a different saplogon.ini.

I have two cFP-2120 RT controller. They both have NI-Serial RT2.5.6, DataSocket for LV RT4.2, NI-VISA 3.6, FP Drivers 5.1.0, FP VI Manager 3.1.0 LV RT 7.1.1 installed. But one same vi can run on one controller but not another.
the error message got when it runs on another controller is "Error -32810 occurred at The FieldPoint server initialization failed. Possible causes: 1. Missing or corrupt configuration file; 2. Failed to create callbacks. : FP Open.vi"
I wonder by what it is caused?

Hi Matthew,
As mentioned previously, this KnowledgeBase article may be of some help. Also, if your code is being run on an embedded controller and then a network controller (not embedded), you will need to run the program differently. On the embedded controller, you should deploy your VI in a Project Explorer or programmatically (as described here.) However, you do not need to deploy the program to a network controller, but simply run the VI.
I would also suggest creating a new .IAK file. Do you still see the same error? Also, double-check that the software installed on the controller matches the software installed on the host PC. If you have any file paths associated with one FieldPoint controller, ensure that you are changing them to match the second controller.

How to control which Configuration File a package Opens with in MS Visual Studio 2008 ?

When running our jobs, I know which Configuration File is being used, as it's specified in the path.
But when opening SSIS Jobs in MS Visual Studio, lets say there is four different Config files.
How do you control which one is used when you are working with the job in Visual Studio?
For example in the above screen, you can 'Add' or 'Edit' or 'Remove' Configurations but you can seem to say
"Reload this package with x Configuration", or "Select this particular one at the moment" for instance?

The configuration file mentioned last in the above screen is the one loaded last and the values of this file are applied. You can specify the sequence of the file with the arrow buttons on the right in case if you want a different config file to be loaded
in development and then change them back when you are deploying the package as a job.

While creating the em repository I get the following:

Its clear what the problem is, I have tried to recreate the password file but I still get the same error.
my steps
1. shutdown the instance
2. orapwd file=orapwDWDEV password=mypassword entries=10
3. startup
One thing I wonder is the name of the passwordfile, I saw in one post that the name should be orapw<sid>, I noticed that he old name
was PWD<SID>. What controls the name (apart from the sid) ?
Any ideas how to handle this is appreciated.

It seems that I have misspelled the name.
It works now.
Stiil interested what makes the filename, the pwfile is named PWD<SID>.ora.
Can I name it what I like ?

BP &C upgrade to version 7 failing, server configuration file missing.

Anyone,
When I run the version 7 Startup.exe, the only options are to Prepare or Other. I think the server configuration file is missing. Is there a way to create/recreate one without using the insight export feature (that appset is not installed or enabled).

For everyone else, here is what the upgrade has done:
Under the "iTunes\iTunes Music" folder there used to be a "Downloads" folder that was deleted by the 7.0 upgrade.
It looks like this folder was used for the recovery of failed downloads, but the previous versions of iTunes were not managing this folder very well. There were several folders containing just 1 media file. Most of the media files were 0 bytes long, except for the 2 files that I had lost during the upgrade. Apparently, iTunes was using these 2 files. The upgrade to version 7.0 caused this folder to be deleted; thus the links were broken. Anyone else who had a failed download, in particular a video download, may have the same issue.

We have SAP GUI 7.10 patch 19 installed. Our saplogon.ini file resides in the path c:\windows and is not explicitly set anywhere. An old PLM interface to Solidworks set the Windows USER environment variable to point to C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui by setting a value in SAPLOGON_INI_FILE, so nothing appears in the logonpad.
If I remove this USER environment variable, the logonpad entries still appear blank. On further investigation, we see in the logonpad configuration screen (in the logonpad itself) a reference to a variable called saplogon.ini being set here in a section called configuration files.
We have searched for this in the registry but cannot find it and therefore can't change it.
Does anyone know how this gets set, where it is stored and how we can change it. Ideally we'd like to remove it completely, if possible.

I have solved this. The process also created a saplogoin.ini file in C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui which was blank. SAP GUI looks there before Windows.

WHEN using the DBUA i get the following on C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\cfgtoollogs\emca\ftdcdb\emca_2010-08-19_02-37-49-PM.log
The dabatase is working fine (is and up and running), , i can log in, run sql queries, but i wanted to upgrade EM too, but i am not able to figure this out, any one has suggestions? Basically the problem is on The Enterprise Manager part.

Use configuration file VIs to set AppFont in INI

I am using the following code in an attempt to set AppFont, SystemFont, and DialogFont in an executable's .ini file all to Segoe UI 15. I was disappointed to discover that the configuration file VIs don't seem to write the key correctly. When I use this code, I get the following in the .ini file:
AppFont = ""Segoe UI" 15"
SystemFont = ""Segoe UI" 15"
DialogFont = ""Segoe UI" 15"
What I really need is:
AppFont = "Segoe UI" 15
SystemFont = ""Segoe UI" 15
DialogFont = "Segoe UI" 15
In other words, the configuration file VIs add an extra set of quotation marks. With this extra set of quotation marks, the executable ignored these settings. The "write raw string?" input didn't seem to affect this behavior.
Does anyone know of a way to get the configuration file VIs to write this key/value pair correctly, or do I need to write extra code to either remove the quotations or do the whole thing myself? It seems like the configuration file parsing/editing VIs that NI provides should be able to parse and edit NI-provided configuration files...

There is no way to do this with the current config file API. That "write raw string" input only pertains to escaping certain characters. We also have an internal API for writing data specifically to the LabVIEW.ini file, but it has the same problem with extra quotes. For now, you'll need to either refrain from using the config file VIs, or add some post-processing code to go in and remove the extra quotes.

Fatal Slapd Missing configuration file during ds5.2 install

I am still trying to install ds 5.2 on Solaris 8. idsktune reports no errors.
During install I get the following error message:

although, the file /exports/iplanet/setup/slapd/slapd.inf is there!!!

Configuration file missing in grid_home

Hi,
We recently migrate db and grid from 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.3 on aix.We took backup of grid_home and oracle_home by using tar -cvf.
After taking tar backup,we unable to start HAS due to CRS-4563: Insufficient user privileges.
we found that some of the files are not present in grid_home.
How can i check all the files are present in grid_home or is it possible to re-generate missing files by any command?
Any suggestions.

Imac is no longer able to open the Configuration file

Hi ,
I have an imac ( ilamp) 20' connected to ADSL, via Netopia Router which is connected to the Airport extreme connected to imac, for the PB Aluminum Tiger 10.4.5. we both can connect. PB can print via imac/printer.
The imac is no longer able to open the Configuration file, when i enter the pswd which is correct, i get the message "The Airport Admin. Utility was unable to read the configuration of the selected base station an error occurred while reading the configuration "
My Beau updated Airport to V5.7, this is the first time since the update I've tried to access the conf. file for the imac which i have done numerous times prior.
I have a new base station Ip address 254.128.0 in Airport Utility Admin, on the imac which does not reflect my network settings anywhere, and is not what it use to be, i think, it was one value different than the PB.Base station IP. I do not know how it changed neither one of us changed it.
I tried using the Airport Setup assistant (imac), I received this message:
"Appropriate Airport hardware was bot found on this computer,if you recently
Installed, an Airport card,please shut down your computer$ make sure the card is properly istalled."
The imac does not have a card, nor do i think it needs one.
I would like to be able to at least open the configuration file.

I made an error on my first post I have a Netopia modem, Airport router.
And so it remains, i guess that there must be an easy answer somewhere
that I am missing that I/we should read, some direction to that would be helpful, and I would be very appreciative.
As I said the password had been set, and it is not an issue of that being forgotten, i wondered if it was changed back to "public" tried, not it.
particular because everytime the imac wakes one of the folders on ( no one else in office just me and boyfriend and it is his work folder he has a copy on the PB.( the folder on desk top has been clicked on, the one with sensitve info, i have backed the folder up and secure trashed it, just in case some security issue hacking has taken place, thats closing the barn door after the fact.

I'm using a relative path to my .pfx file for both the transportServerCredential and licenseServerCredential in the flashaccess-tenant.xml and my password has been scrambled using the Scrambler.bat.
Also, when I verify setup using http://<LicenseServer>:8080/flashaccessserver/flashaccess/license/v2 I get the message 'License server is setup correctly.'
Any ideas of why the Validator.bat can't read the configuration file?

I agree with you that if I can successfully playback content the license serve is setup successfully. Here is what I've tried and how I've set things up:
I have my license server setup (its the Protected Streaming version).
I'm using Adobe Media Server as my content/packaging server. I successfully served Vanilla PHLS sample streams to the sample Adobe Access player on iOS devices.
I have configured the Adobe Media Server to point to the license server and certificates as per the documenation and this Adobe Dev article (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/adobe-media-server/articles/content-protection-using-phds-phls .html). Since I am using a trial version of Adobe Access my .der files are the same for transport and packaging.
I am using the local key mode to remove one more variable (I have setup a remote key server as well).
I have placed a copy of the 'vod-policy.pol' policy file from the reference license server resources directory in my Adobe Media Server 'creds' directory and used the relative path '..creds/vod-policy.pol' in the httpd.conf file.
When I attempt to load the sample stream http://<mymediaserver>/hls-vod/sample2_1000kbps.f4v.m3u8 using the Adobe Access sample player on my iOS device I receive the following errors in the player:
DRM error Major[3363] minor:[0] NSError:(null)]
From my knowledge of working with the Adobe Access Objective C library to create a PhoneGap plugin it appears that a decrypted playlist is not being returned by the Adobe Media Server. Additionally, I can find no information in the Adobe Media Server or Adobe Access logs that pertain to my setup.
I would love to have someone from Adobe speak to the problems I am having. I find the documentation to be hit and miss and most of my successful results during this proofing process have been from piecing together disparate pieces of information and trial and error. Information on using the Adobe Media Server with Adobe Access is limited to one Devnet article (above) and the help in Adobe Media Server that doesn't explain pathing to the license server or Java policy files in any detail.
