Bad or No signal in Denver/Thornton area

Is anyone else having signal problems with their new iphone? I am dropping calls or unable to make calls from my office or home. I didn't have this problem with the original iphone.

I'm having the same problem. I'm in Aurora and have driven all over now. I just got the phone yesterday but if 3G is on I can't make or receive calls, although data generally works. However sometimes its slower than edge. I love the iphone but have spent all day talking to ATT and Apple. I'm seriously considering taking it back because Apple just blames ATTs network and ATT blames the phone. I took the phone to the AT&T store and they held it up side by side with other 3G phones they had full signal in 3G but the iphone 3g had 1 bar. This seems like strong evidence its the phone to me. If I turn 3G off its fine but what is the point in having a 3G phone. Apple support finally told me to take it to an Apple store but there is more than a 24hr wait to get an appointment. Of course I tried to just go in and the person I talked to turned 3G back on(since I left it off so I could actually get calls) and of course in the apple store in Cherry creek there is full signal. Unfortunately I don't live or work there.

Theoretically yes. It will really depend on your situation. Please review the following Apple Support article to understand what is possible with the AirPort base stations and post back with any questions or help in setting up your extended network.

  • Iphone 4 S 64 gb. Welcome screen problem! Could not open. Very often calls dropped down! Very often bad or no signal.

Welcome screen was very big, buttons was hidden. Could not open. Also very often calls dropped down! Very often bad or no signal.

so... my out of warranty iPhone 4 power button stopped functioning all of a sudden and it also no longer made that "click" when pressed.
As I already said, it's already out of warranty. This is actually my 2nd iPhone 4. Apple replaced my previous because of a faulty home button. Now my "new" phone has a faulty power button. This phone is of course out of warranty because it's been over a year.

My firefox is loading Bad quality images, but actully the images are perfectly alright

In my experience, print quality settings such as dpi/ppi are hidden in your printer driver settings and not directly available through Firefox's UI. In the print dialog, if you click the Properties button, you hopefully will gain access to this setting. Obviously native web resolution (96ppi) can give disappointing results, so hopefully you can find a place to increase it.

  • Denver Taxes  are  reported wrong on W2

    Hi.
There is some difference in the W2 form that is generated for Employees belonging to Denver  personal area and for other employees not belonging to Dever (say Birmingham).
As far as Dever PA is concerned only taxes in wage type /401 and /701 is getting reported in W2 and not those in wage type /451 and /751.
Where as for other Personnel Area (For ex Birmingham) all the taxes in wage type /401,/451,/701 and /751 is getting reported in W2.
Any idea what the issue might be.
    Thanks,
    Sriram

Can you check Recon Report for those employees.
Is mapping properly done which boxes should be displayed.
Try to test in PU19 (Test Mode)
    Thanks,

  • Bad routing from Dallas to Denver, please help!

First of all, I am a gamer, so this is all coming from a gamer's point of view. I have a server that I host for my community in Denver, because everyone usually has a fair and even latency when hosted there. But recently, my hops from Dallas to Denver have been drastically different and it affects the way I play the game. I am wondering what is causing my latency to jump up 30ms, nearly double, at random times. It fluctuates back and forth all day between about 45ms (which is what it should be) to 75ms. I don't know whether it is just traffic or a bad router somewhere, but it is getting annoying. Was wondering if anyone could help me out here or help me figure out what the problem could be. I have already contacted the server company, and they found nothing wrong on their end, so I am assuming that it is the ISP that is causing this.

    Game is Counter-Strike: Source
You could see why an extra 30 ping might mess you up with the added delay
I took this tracert last night, probably around 11p.m. CST.

As far as I can tell, the problem lies soley with Denver. It's not just this one server, but any Denver server I test. My latency is fine to all other locations, like Chicago, Seatlle, Dallas, and so on, but for some reason, something goes wrong with there. My connection itself does not suffer any delay or limited bandwidth. It can sometimes even go as low as 35ms, and goes as high as 75ms.
The server company that is hosting is NuclearFallout (and if you know much about server hosting companies, they are pretty much the cream of the crop).

  • Weak Signal in Denver, CO

I live in the middle of Denver, CO in an area called Capital Hill (zip code 80203).  My cell reception is great throughout the rest of the city, but its horrible on the block surrounding my house (inside and outside).  This is confusing to me, as I am centrally located in the middle of Denver.
Does anyone know how to report areas of weak cell reception to Verizon?  It's incredibly frustrating not being able to reliably use my mobile phone when in or around my house.

Yes you can open a trouble ticket by calling tech support 8009220204
Verizon doesn't guarantee rf signal indoors but if you have hi speed Web they'll offer you a network extender for $250. With the ticket they'll do a test drive in your area or they may already know others are having trouble in your area

  • Next to no signal in 4G LTE area, 3g/1x only if at all. can't hold calls or data.

I am visiting for a few weeks in a new area that I haven't been to before with Verizon and for the most part all I have seen is 3G/1x in what the Verizon map says is a 4G LTE area. Only 2 times I have seen 4G LTE but it was very slow and weak. Though this area is not that small of a town and AT&T for the most part works good here. ( The ones I am visiting both have AT&T, guess this is why.)
Is this not a working 4G LTE area yet that will be soon?
I never realized just how bad the 3G radio seems to be in this phone till now, can't hardly make call's. 3G to 1x then nothing, then 3G over and over. Guess I should have have tested in a non 4G LTE area more before coming here or keeping this phone.
I have tried, soft reboot, hard reboot and air plane mode. I may try a factory reset, but I think it looks to be a network issue. Or also a hardware issue. I could be wrong though and any input would be helpful.
    Thanks

Alliance Ohio, most of the state is 4G LTE or at lest that's what there map shows. The address I am staying at is clearly a 4G LTE zone. Yet I can only get 3G in the house on the top floor and not even that will hold as it filps from 3G, 1x then zip. Also it won't hold a signal in my pocket most of the time in the area as the most I have gotten is 3 bar's out of 5 in the town. The DBM sits at 107 at best nothing at all at it's worst.
I know calls go over 1x, but some times it drop's everything= no service.

  • How can I tell if signals from two devices are truly synchronised?

    Hi there,
How does one check that signals from two devices (two separate devices in a single X-series chassis) that should be synchronised actually are?   I am using a PXIe6361 and PXIe4331 on a PXIe-1073, with Labview 2001 SP1 64-bit. All devices are using the Sample Clock from the 4331 device, and an AI Start Trigger, so they should be synchronised.
I thought that writing the signal data to file and checking the time stamp for each column of data would be the most accurate, but I have been told that timestamps are software created and therefore don't reflect the actual time that the signals were acquired by the hardware.  When I do this, the timestamps vary by up to 150ms which is larger than I expected.
If I set the x-axis of the waveform graphs (on the GUI) to "Time" then it appears that the first data sample is taken at different times for the two plots (one plot per device).
If I set the x-axis of the waveform graphs (on the GUI) to "Ignore time stamp" (so that the x-axis just starts from 0 rather than a date-time) then the first data point occurs at "0" for both graphs. However, I'm not sure that this reflects the actual alignment of the signal.
What is the best way to check if signals collected on different devices in the same chassis are actually synchronised?
    Thanks,
    Claire.

    Hi Lynn,
Thanks for your help and for sending the demo.
I understand the concept of how the signals will look if they're not synchronised and your demo shows that nicely. I guess I have been perplexed by someone else telling me that the timestamps in the output file (and following from that I assume timestamps on a waveform graph) do not give an indication of whether signals are synchronised. The reason they gave for this was that the timestamps are manufactured by the software, not the DAQ hardware.  They suggested that I put the setting "ignore waveform timestamps" on my waveform graphs, and then check that both signals come in at the same time (i.e. both start at zero), but I'm not convinced about this.
When I use an analog trigger, neither the timestamps in my output file or on the two waveform graphs are synchronised. If I don't use the trigger, then there is far less disparity in the timestamps in the output file. I've attached two output files here, and my VI.
This is my first attempt to synchronise a voltage module and a strain gauge module on an X-series chassis, so I want to make sure that I'm achieving the best synchronisation that I can, and the difference in behaviour with and without the trigger worries me.
    Thanks,
    Claire.

  • TS1424 When I ave network coverage, my wi if drops out. I am only able to access my music on my phone when I have no network signal, otherwise all songs are greyed out

I can only access my wi if, when I have no network signal. As soon as I move to a better signal area, my wi Di connection drops out.
I have music on my phone, but again, I cannot access this in the gym, when I have a network signal.
I also cannot access some of my apps, as they are greyed out. Please advise

Grey text when you look at the content and a lock symbol at the bottom of the screen just indicates that the iPod is set to sync automatically with iTunes. If you want to connect an iPod to multiple computers, play the iPod songs through iTunes, delete songs from the iPod, drag songs from iTunes, add playlists to the iPod etc. you need to change the update setting to "manually manage songs and videos". The text will change from grey to black and everything will be directly accessible through iTunes:
    Managing content manually on iPod
    Using iPod with Multiple computers
    Syncing Music to iPod
Something to remember about using an iPod in manual mode is that the "Do Not Disconnect" message will remain on the display until you physically eject the device: Safely Disconnect IPod

  • Is there problems with the network/signal in TA3 Taunton area

Is there problems with the network/signal in the TA3 Taunton area I have not had a signal all day and then to make contact with one of my children regarding school pick up.

Unfortunately so. Spoke to EE today and the service may take up to 72 hours to get back to normal - which is unbelievable given how much we use our phones for day to day life! As they cannot do anything for us, to thank us for our patience they are asking us to monitor when the service resumes and get back to them (no doubt on their £ per min line) and let them know and they’ll credit us for the down time. Just Brilliant!!

  • Just bought Apple Extreme. Can I use my old Linksys extender to boost signal in a closed area?

Can anyone tell me if I can still use an existing Linksys Wireless Range Extender (WRE 54G) with my new Apple Extreme Routher please?

Apple uses proprietary settings for their "extend a wireless network" feature, which are designed to only allow other Apple device to extend the network. Therefore, it is extremely unlikely that a Linksys product would be able to wirelessly extend an Apple network.
If you plan to connect the Linksys 54G to the Apple AirPort Extreme using a wired Ethernet connection, then you could set up the Linksys router to provide more wireless signal coverage that way. Configure the Linksys router in bridge mode to provide a wireless network using the same wireless network name, same wireless security setting and same password as the Apple network.
