BAD PARAMETER Error when Deleting Pages in Acrobat
When I attempted to delete pages in Acrobat Standard, I received an information error stating:
Bad Parameter
When I try to click ok on the error message, it just keeps coming back over and over again. There is no way to get rid of the error message so I am forced to end the program using the Windows Task Manager.
Has anyone seen this error message before and if so, is there a fix?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!

This is an incredably annoying error. I had a complete manuscript ready for print, except I needed to delete one page, which of course Acrobat would not let me. I had spent a considerable amount of energy on the page numbering, bookmarks etc., so creating a completely new PDF by for example printing to PDF was out of the question.
In the end, I ended up extracting all the pages in the document, except the one I wanted to delete. This way, I ended up with a new PDF, but all of the bookmarks, page number formatting, etc. migrated together with the extracted pages to the new document.
Hopefully, Adobe will be able to fix this issue soon.

Hi all - Am receiving the "bad parameter" error when trying to save a PDF w/ Reader 10.1.0
I've read through various topics and many point to the source of the PDF, but using other versions of Reader.
Other users - not using version 10.1.0 - but previous version, do not have this problem.
I am not sure if the client is able to download and install another version of Reader, as their network is locked down.
Any tips or suggestions?
OS = Win7.Pls try updating to the latest version of Adobe Reader i.e. 10.1.4 and see if it solves your problem. The new version has lots of fixes which may solve your issue.

However, I'm getting an "Invalid access code (Bad parameter)" error when I click the "List Available Projects" link button.
I have been able to get the wizard going with a different VSS DB, but not this one.

Converted MS Word 2007 to Adobe Acrobat 9 random "Bad Parameter" Error
Question: I Converted MS Word 2007 file which contained 892 pages into Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard afterwards and while needing to update only certain pages I receive the "Bad Parameter" Error. My process is using drop down Document/Extract pages(make my updates)/Replace pages into complete PDF file/ usually with no problem then towards the last pages of the PDF the Error showed up! I believe that it’s possible, the conversion initially may have allowed many tags to be written correctly but some are corrupted. It could be a buffer-overflow failsafe that is having an adverse effect against the two programs because of the file’s size? I have seen some good advice come from many people on this site like "Bill@VT" and "CtDave" and others so I am humbly requesting assistance? Some additional background information is I have to keep the file size the same and I cannot print to PDF file from Word due to a specific format I must keep and most of the PDF is not corrupt: meaning receiving the "Error". I would like to know if the error that seems to be due to the conversion process can be corrected. “I am taking adobe files from a database, saving them, and then making changes to them by inserting (from other adobe files from the same database) or deleting pages. Very basic stuff! It should print the same as you see in the document after the printer has been selected.”For the replace and delete pages, I can only guess that you are messing up some of the bookmarks or links in the page from what I think you have based on the description. I would work on copies between each stage so that you can at least go back to the last success stage. If possible, you are better to go back and do the modifications in the original page and the recreate the PDF. If that is not possible, then maybe a better explanation of how you are creating the PDF would help folks understand your process fully and suggest a solution.
On the latter, I would do a repair on Acrobat. However, it may be in the process you are using in the conversion from WORD. How are you creating the PDF from WORD? Have you updated AA9 and not simply have 9.0? The confusing point is that you talk about Distiller for getting the PDF from WORD. Distiller is often involved, but only behind the scenes and normally you either print to the Adobe PDF printer, use PDF Maker, or use the MS plugin for PDF creation. So when stating Distiller, it is unclear what process you are using since none of the methods I mention state the use of Distiller even if it is used in the background. -

I don't know if this is of any help to you, but I sporadically encounter the same error when trying to delete regions/items/tabs etc. from TEMPLATES (not from pages). I am sure that this is a bug.
However, after creating a page from the template and then detaching it from the template, I can delete the corrupt elements. So I can currently work around the problem.
Maybe this applies to your situation?

Cannot delete pages in Acrobat 9 Standard
We have several new computers we just installed and 7 new acrobat 9 standard discs with serial numbers. Installation went fine. We can create PDFs but when we try to edit, we cannot delete pages. Online help shows how to delete pages in Acrobat 9 Standard, but the Delete option is not available on the menus.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat 9 Standard on one computer to see if a new install would fix the problem, but it did not. Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?Please use the camera icon for uploading screen captures or other pictures, then we do not have to wait for the file to be approved. To try to help a bit let us get a bit more information. OS? Any plugins for Acrobat installed? Try this on a pdf that you create. Make sure no security is set for the pdf file.

"Cloud Tool" Causes "Bad Parameter" error
On new or existing PDF's, the "Cloud Tool" causes a "Bad Parameter" error as soon as you click on the PDF.
It only appears as though only the Cloud Tool has a problem.

(1) attribute xchange run is already runnnig for any toher object(monitor lock) (check by thi prog-RSDDS_CHANGERUN_MONITOR)
(2) data is loading deleting from the object on which attribut changerun is running.(go in a manage tab and check)
check this two conditions and rerun the attribute changrun again from program - RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN and give the master data name in the selection.

10.6.8 user receives Acrobat X crash when deleting pages in large PDF
I have a user that consistently has Acrobat X Pro crash on his whenever he is deleting pages from a PDF that has a large amount of pages.
He says the crashing is regular with PDFs that consist of 10+ pages. He shift+clicks to select multiple pages and upon hitting the Delete key, the program will freeze and eventually crash.

Getting "HTTP 400 Bad Request" error when submitting form
I am using APEX 3.1.2. I have a form based on a table. The form contains check boxes, a multiple select item, some text items and some text boxes with HTML editors. It had been working properly but now is giving me the dreaded "The web page can not be found..." error page as soon as I click create when in create mode or the update or the delete button when editing a row of data. The URL in the address area of the browser is: "http://ndhoast.tsh.mis.mckesson.com:7778/pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept" and the tab says "HTTP 400 Bad Request".
Any help would be greatly appreciated!Do you have any extra Javascript components added in? We've been doing work with ExtJS and Oracle Apex, and I've noticed that on one particular page there is a bad request thrown when a doSubmit() is called. When the Javascript is commented out, the page works fine.

PDF Form Crashes and/or Gives Bad Parameter Error
I've created a simple PDF form in InDesign 6 and it opens in both Acrobat 9 Pro and X with no problems. The form only has radial buttons and text fields, with a submit button.
I can fill out the form and when I submit it, I get a Bad Paramenter error in Acrobat X.
With Acrobat 9 Pro I'm asked "This document is trying to connect to: file//localhost, If you trust this site, choose Allow. If you do not trust this site, choose Block.
I choose Allow and Acrobat crashes with the error "Acrobat quit unexpectedly" with a very long Problem Details and System Confiuration message (see below).
Any ideas would greatly be appreciated. I've attached links to both the Acrobat form and the original InDesign file if that helps.

Garageband won't start after updating to iLife 06

Hey all, I'm not sure if every1 know there's a print function in JTable. thats right, What ever is in the table will be printer. it also brings up a Printer dialog box, with options which printer to use, landscape, potriat, etc. now i have 1 problem.

KG 1061 Wireless Keyboard Does not work
Key "a" stopped working after I haven't used my computer for a week. Other keys seem fine. It was working fine before. I've tried replacing batteries, uninstalling the keyboard and updating driver. Nothing works. Please help!
