Bad Sitemap Created by Muse

The sitemap Muse keeps creating everytime I publish through FTP is not acceptable. It's just creating and publishing a list of links and dates (pasting a portion of it below). Any idea why this is happening? My site is at lawtechpartners.com - I've manually overwritten the site map file with one created by a sitemap generator so it's not published but I will past below what Muse creates and publishes. Thanks in advance.

HI and thanks for taking the time to look, but I dont think that's it. As I mentioned, when I publish using Muse (File > Upload to FTP Host) - this is what is published BY Muse as seen directly in Chrome...
I THEN replace it with my own sitemap.xml and now looks like this...

How do I upload a website created with Muse using FileZilla?

Hi,
I created a website using Muse. Everytime I try to upload the website through Muse, the uploading crashes. The assets folder contains many large pdf files, so I think that is part of the problem. I was able to upload the large pdf for the Muse website using FileZilla. So, my question is: How can I upload the necessary files created with Muse (html, scripts, etc...) using FileZilla? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
Please use the option of Export as HTML in Muse and then try to Upload it to hosting server using filezilla.
You can find this option in File > Export as HTML.

You can use their BC login details and use them , which on publish the site will be under their account.
Please change the BC login from Edit > Preferences > Publish > Switch Accounts , for Mac it would Adobe Muse > Preferences

I think you want a BAPI, not a BADI.
In your ECC system, enter the transaction BAPI and look at all the methods available under the Customer object.

Email Link Created in Muse won't work

This is odd. I can send an email to my client from any email program. But if I select the email link from his webpage (created in Muse), even though the email is correct when an email window opens, the client is not receiving emails. Some get bouncebacks, some don't. I use apple mail and I didn't get a bounceback so I was unaware of the problem. The format I used when creating the email link was mailto:[email protected] No spaces. This is my first stab at Muse so maybe I'm missing something obvious.

On click to mailto: command will open the default email client that is used on computer. So Muse creates the link properly as email process works here, but hard bounce/soft bounce/spams etc are not controlled from Muse end.
Sending and receiving email should have proper records setup , else these problems can occur.

Can Google Analytics provide reports/data from a Contact Form created in Muse?

My Muse site will be hosted by a third party hosting service, as I am creating it for a client. My client wants to be able to see a monthly report of inquiries submitted via the contact form, which was created in Muse. Can Google Analytics provide reports/data from a Contact Form created in Muse?

Muse makes files through interface design approach. It has actually nothing to do with the running of your site. And this forum is for Business Catalyst, Adobe's CMS. If you are not using that and a 3rd party then for tracking etc that is based on you or someone else installing the google analytics code on that website. Muse has nothing to do with that.

Kevin is suggesting that you store the projects you create while working through his book in a folder called RoboHelpProjects. It is not where you have to store every project you ever create.That is for the purposes of his book.
RoboHelp initially defaults to My RoboHelp Projects but it's up to you whether you do. Generally on the forums we advise against that as it is part of your profile and can result in excessively long path names in a few cases. Generally where authors create file names that are so long they almost serve as the content.
Projects always have a root folder, call them Project 1 and Project 2 for this purpose. You can have those folders directly off your C drive (or other local partition) or within in a parent folder as above.
Now to what you can and cannot do. You can delete a whole project by selecting Project 1 or Project 2 in Windows Explorer. Obviously if you delete the parent folder you will delete all your projects within.
What you must not do is delete individual files within a project using Windows Explorer, for that you use RoboHelp's Project Manager. The exception is if you go to Tools > Reports there is a report Unused Files. Files listed there will have to be deleted using Windows Explorer for the very good reason they do not appear in Project Manager and, therefore, cannot be deleted that way.
If you think about it, it is similar to Word. There is no option to delete a document there other than using File > Open and right clicking. Not very intuitive.

The current application program detected a situation which really

Can a basic site, created with Muse, be uploaded into DW to make it even more robust?

Muse is not intended to be a code generation hand-off tool for downstream editing. We recommend you do all of your site editing in Muse, rather than exporting the site from Muse and editing the code elsewhere. By staying within Muse, you can continue to use the full functionality of Muse to update your site. As soon as you move to altering the output of Muse, there's no going back (unless you're willing to re-make your changes each time you export from Muse). The HTML code output from Muse is not optimized for manual editing.

I wish to download a Muse Site I did not create , using Muse. How may I do this?

Let's assume a friend using Muse creates a site using his PC and publishes it.
It’s now a hosted site created in Muse.
Let’s also assume he wishes to have me work on the Muse created website which he created and published using Muse.
Can I use my copy of Muse on my PC , a PC different than my freinds, to download the site my friend created so I may work on it in my copy of Muse?
