BADi BOM_UPDATE cannot trigger mail as FM giving dump

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to send mail at BOM change. I am using BADI BOM_UPDATE~CHANGE_BEFORE_UPDATE method for that.
Here I am using FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 to send mail. But when i am using COMMIT = 'X' in the FM it is giving dump COMMIT_IN_PERFORM_ON_COMMIT. But without using commit the mail is not getting fired. So can anyone give me a solution? Please suggest me.

Actually I have used method Change_at_save of that badi and there the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 is working fine with commit = 'X' but I cannot get the item data which has been deleted from from BOM item. The problem which i am facing is that the item which has been deleted is coming with the other data in DELTA_STPOB and DELTA_STASB. So i cant distinguish between them. So i have used change_before_update which is showing the deleted item with an indicator 'D'. So i am using change_before_update method of the mentioned badi. Can you suggest anything more please.

CS02 - trigger mail at save with detail of changes

Dear Sapians,
I come through a requirement in which , i have to trigger a mail to authorized user with detail of changes done in CS02 by unauthorized user.
I got a BADI 'BOM_UPDATE' 'CHANGE_AT_SAVE'.
And as per my understanding change detail are in table CDHDR and CDPOS.
And in above table data is loaded after CS02 is saved.
So, no detail of recent changes done is reflected in CDHDR and CDPOS .
So, I am looking for some USER-EXITS or BADI , which help me out in this scenario.
Scenario is :--
a).
When changes are done in CS02 by some UNAUTHORIZED USER, changes has to be verified by AUTHORIZED USER, so change detail has to be send to AUTHORIZED USER.

Sorry for not discussing the whole scenario.
Actually , If some unauthorized user gas done some changes in CS02 than BOM Status is to be '2',
so mail is needed to ask authorized user permission to set BOM status '1'.
But in the same time , authorized wanna know what changes are done. and changes are recorded in cdhdr and cdpos tables which is updated after after bom is saved not in between.
That why mail is needed.

ive been using iphone to check two email accounts for months now, one is gmail and not troubled. the other is mail from thunderbird and i get this error message now saying it is not responding. no settings have been changed or anything, it just suddenly stopped receiving mail on my device as of Tuesday afternoon.
Does anyone have iny ideas about why? i have yet to update to the new OS7 yet, could that be it?

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Why does my mail keep saying "Cannot get mail"

Synced my Yahoo account with my phone and recieved mail for a few months. About three weeks ago I recieved a message when I open my Mail app that says "Cannot Get Mail - The connection to the server failed." I also received an email that said "Recently, we have detected some unusual activity on your account and as a result, we've temporarily locked it for your protection. You may unlock your account immediately by logging in on a PC. If you have additional questions, please visit us at ___ to get the help you need. Sincerely, Your yahoo customer experience team."
I logged in to my account on my laptop and everything seemed to fix itself and everything was fine when I get on my computer but I am still not able to get new mail through my phone. It still keeps giving me the "Cannot Get Mail" message on my phone.
Any thoughts?

It sounds like you are getting a message that your password is incorrect after you changed the password for your email account. I would try these 3 troubleshooting steps from the following article to help troubleshoot the AOL account connection:

Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.

i had to manually put in the correct email. I wanted to register a hotmail account but since it was giving me that response, I researched this issue. Finally, I found out some specifics and gave it a try. The post said to Go to Add email and Click Other. My email is a live account... I needed to type::
host name: outlook.com
SMTP (Outgoing mail server): stmp.live.com
Server port as 995
When I put all of that in, it worked. Hope that helps!

Whenever i turn on ipad mail i get a message cannot gt mail the connection to the server failed

I had connection to my email last night when I went to bed. When I woke up this morning, my "hotmail" account wouldn't connect to the server. My other emails are fine but I cannot get my email to connect to the server. I called microsoft and asked and my email works on my computer but it's the strangest anomaly that my email of all days stops working now. I need it so bad to do work. I've already tried deleting the email and resetting it up twice but I just don't know what to do.

I guess he/she open Notes in Gmail settings. This archives (one way sync) notes in gmail account under notes label that is invisible if you are using the standard gmail setup on your iPhone. You can see it on desktop browser, Safari or gmail app in iDevice. Am I wrong?

If your sister's e-mail account was used to send large quantities of spam, and it has been blocked somewhere as a spammer - which may or may not be what happened - it may be difficult to tell where. As I said, any e-mail server between you and your sister could be blocking her messages. A reasonable place to start would be to check with your own e-mail provider and see if their servers are blocking her e-mail. If that is not the problem, she will need to talk to her own e-mail provider about the problem, and they should be able to assist her. If your having problems sending email - go into your email settings and see if you can enter a password for your outgoing mail server same password as your incoming mail server.

Cannot get mail, was working fine for over a year

I have used yahoo mail on iphone5c for over a year. Three days ago I stopped receiving mail and pop up Cannot Get Mail. I have deleted the account and added the account as instructed by Apple's and Yahoo's advise numerous times and it still doesn't work. Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix? Yahoo email is notoriously bad, you can do a search and see all the threads about yahoo email account.
Try using the yahoo app for emails.

Cannot Send Mail

I just tried sending a email from my iphone this morning and I get the message "Cannot Send Mail, the sender address was invalid"
For the past 3 months everything has been fine and mail has been working perfectly. I haven't changed any of the settings at all. However, I did notice this morning that when I logged into my Gmail account online that they've changed they're layout. Seems like quite the coincidence that Google changed their layout and all of a sudden I can't send mail on the phone.
If anybody else is having this problem, or knows of how to resolve it, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

The user in this thread is having the same issue. I am not having any problems sending mail from my gmail account after the update.

About ~20 hours later, this ended up solving itself. We can send email using the '.icloud' email from both the iPad and iPhone. Advise would be 'wait' before you start seeking alteranatives like yahoo, hotmail, etc. This definitely is a convenient way to keep all your 'cloud' information in a centralized place, including the common email...

Why do I get the message "Cannot send mail, the user name and or password for my email outgoing server is incorrect"? I use the same account, etc. on my iPhone and haven't any trouble sending mail.

If your email requires a password for the SMTP server you can set it up in the settings in the General mail setup. Some i.e Gmail require a password for SMTP.
Otherwise you will probably get better answers in the iPad forum.
