BADI ERR MESSAGE Process - MIRO for field SECCO - Section Code

Hi friends:
I want to display error message in a badi,
for tcode - MIRO, Entering Incoming Invoice.
The badi definition is: MRM_HEADER_CHECK
The code is:
METHOD if_ex_mrm_header_check~headerdata_check .
IF I_RBKPV-SECCO EQ SPACE.
I_RBKPV-SECCO = '9999'.
Message e888(sabapdocu) with 'Check Section Code !!!'.
endif.
endmethod.
The problem is the user can not modify the invoice after got the error message.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I have done validation through GGB0 . i am facing problem
prerequisite: syst-tcode = 'FB60'
check bseg-bupla   <>   ' ' and bseg-secco <> ' '
message 'Enter business place and business section.
This is working fine when bseg-bupla and bseg-secco is not entered .
but when user enter value in both fields bseg-bupla and bseg-secco .
in table bseg-bupla and bseg-secco both become blank.
Is ther any other method to achieve this

Have you tried it with customizing tools? I understand that you can achieve it. I think that you want to populate these fields if you have a field status group for this account (check it in FS00). You can create a field status group for this account and do mandatory this fields. If you have doubts, search the help of a FI consultant.
If you see the help for this field:
Field status group
    Determines the screen layout for document entry.
    Fields can have the following statuses:
    o   Optional entry - you can enter data in the field
    o   Mandatory entry - you must enter data in the field
    o   Suppressed - the field does not appear on the screen
You can mantain it with tcode OBC4.

Customisd err message at MIRO - Business area V/s company code validation

Hi experts,
We have simple validation for company code V/S Business area check in place ,
While doing MIRO system throws error for a particular company code and Business area
combination the set error message ( customized - Business are does not match with company code)
This validation has given as a sub node (step) of another consolidation trx. types against GL validation (that was in place earlier, thats why)
But when we do through F-02 (Journal entry ),F-43(vendor invoice), F-22(customer invoce) for the same combination system passes the entry !!!
what may be the cause ?
the error message is the standard one set -251 this message is custom created at Validation (GGB0)
Business area doesnt belongs to the company code
Message no. /ASU/GENERAL251
One more thing Noticed
The Material PO is a account assigned (K) cost center and the
cost center Business area is 1003.
In PO plant is 1003 and i checked the MSEG the plant shows 1003
But in Logistics assignment the Business area 1001 is tagged to Plant 1003
not THE BUSINESS AREA 1003 !! . I mean at plant/valuation area to Business ara configuration
the valuation area 1003 is assigned to Business are 1001 not to Busienss are 1003!!!

Send Message Process prompting for "Process Chain to Check"

Hi, When I insert a "Send Message" Process into my chain I do get prompted to select the message.
1. When I do a pull down I am getting prompted for "Process Chain to Check".
If I select my current process chain I get an abend.
2. When I click create instead of select I get brought to a table maint "Controls the execution of Process Chains". It has process chain, Start Date, Start time, and an inactive checkbox.
Any guesses why it's asking for "Process Chain to Check"?
What is this maintenence table I'm being brought to just to create a message.
Sounds Like I've run into a bug?????

Change pointer in IDOC message-type ARTMAS, for field MARA-LVORM

Hi,
When changing the description of a material in MM02 I am able to sent an idoc using BD21. As this relevant for a change pointer. But when field MARA-LVORM (deletion flag at client level) is chosen, I can not sent an idoc with bd21. How can I make this happen?

Sorry I interpreted your question in wrong way. Solution I gave was for following requirement.
Every time a material is created or changed a change pointer is created, which serves as a signal for generating IDocs to dependent systems. However, change of material type creates a change pointer that doesn't trigger an IDoc.The purpose is to create the change pointers and send the idocs. Eg. Material type field. As per your reply above I guess change pointer created for LVORM is enough to send the idocs.

Issue in MIRO for inventorized excise tax code

Hi,
I have created a PO with excise tax code, but the excise amount to be inventorized,
PO price   : 100
EXCISE         10
ECESS          0.20
SECESS        0.10
VAT              13.79
Total net amount   100 and tax amount 24.09
   now as the excise condition are mark as non deductible so after GR the material and GR account are posted with the amount 110.30, base price + excise tax amount which is OK. But when I am doing the MIRO I enter the total amount as 124.09 on the miro screen then selected the tax code as per PO then material it is showing with amount as 100 insted of 110.30, because of this it is showing some balance differene , which i need to correct manually.
   Is there any option for this I want to create PO with same procedure with excise tax code which is to be post to inventory but in MIRO i want to avoid this manual correction.

But when I am doing the MIRO I enter the total amount as 124.09 on the miro screen then selected the tax code as per PO then material it is showing with amount as 100 insted of 110.30, because of this it is showing some balance difference , which i need to correct manually.
why 124.09 vat also want to inventories ?
try this click on calculate tax icon in MIRO and check it

You can use GGB0 for creating a validation. You can use company code and tcode from which the items are to be made mandatory as pre-requisites.

Substitution rule for Business place and section code

We have a business place and a section code. I want to write a substituion rule for vendor invoice for business place and section code.
When i see in header, i am not find BUPLA and SECCO in header. I am finding them in line item. How do i get these fields in header segment. I tried substution rule in line item, but the tds is not deducted.

i am not understand your problem. Previously i face one problem regarding business place and section code. While booking invoices and advance payments the user forgets to specify business place or section code and some times he specifys wrong business place also. Basing on business place or section code we cant restrict the users because there is no authorisation object.
i created one validation that if my business area is 1000. then substitute the business place field with section code.
we have business place individual business area wise so i created this substitution.

Hi manu,
in BADI ORDER_SAVE, Method PREPARE you can check for changes of ticket values and cancel the save process.
So you could check if the user is in partner function "message processor" and has changed the value in partner function "support team". If so, you could cancel the process, the change will not be saved and the user gets an error message!

Processing Logic for custom fields to CRMD_OPPORT_H

Hi all,
I have a requirement to add two new custom fields to the Opportunity Table in CRM. I was able to successfully add these fields using EEWB and the fields are displayed in the corresponding PC-UI in the portal.
I have an additional requirement of performing a calculation based on these new added fields and updating or refreshing the "Expected Sales Vol" field in the Forecast tab on "Opportunity" Business Transaction
Can anyone provide some inputs on how we can add the processing logic for acheiving? Is this possible via the BADI? Or Do we require to modify the BSP?

I have implemented the BADI and the corresponding PCUI displays the calculated amount when i enter values in the custom fields and hit ENTER.
I just wanted to understand why we require to use function module CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN_SINGLE_OW?. In my BADI implementation i did not have to use it so additional details would be useful for me to determine if i am missing anything.

Stateful message processing for async scenario

Dear all,
my async scenarios:
1. RFC -> PI -> File
2. File -> PI -> RFC
Following facts:
- The second message is a response to the first one. Both message are separted and async.
- Scenario 2 can be send some hours after Scenario1.
- A response should only be send if a specified field in the message of first scenario is filled.
For example: Message in scenario has a field <ResponseNeeded>YES</ResponseNeeded>
This field does only exist in message of scenario 1.
- Both message have an ID field (e.g. <ID>4711</ID>) which can be used to identified the
corresponding message.
Questions:
- Is it possible to use stateful message processing for this scenario? Or do I need BMP + Correlation?
- A service interface with pattern "stateful" can only be used synchronously. So is it
possible to use this stateful for async message processing at least?
I would assume that I will need a BPM that sends the messsage and keep alive until a
response will be sends with same ID. After this I would check message of scenario1 and
send (or even not) the message of scenario2 to receiver depending on <ResponseNeeded>.

Although BPM is possible here, I would not recommend you to use one here for the reason,

This means you are keeping a process alive for so long which is not a good thing to do.
You could end up with a lot of open/live process instances.
Having said that, if you still wish to go ahead with BPM, the steps would be
1. Receive async (RFC req) - start process, correlation based on ID.
2. Switch step (Evaluate ResponseNeeded)
branch 1(True): a. Send asynch step - File
b. Receive async - File correlation - ID.
c. Send async - RFC call.
branch 2(false) a. Send async -File
3. Stop process.

after that executing with VL03N , its giving error .

...Actually i have orginal prgrm (zsmf_Orginal) there i had to do some modifications , so after copying that same form into another form(zsmf_Duplicate), i made some changes there, both form are executing in T code SMARTFORMS, but while testing with VL03N , its showing above mentioned err.
Plz have eye on it.
