BADI error-higher-level members have been selected

Hi,
1. When i select all in the Select input it is displaying warning messsage as Parent member is selected.
2. So, Instead i am trying by selecting all the members irrespective of hirearchy manually and  not getting any errors and data is flowed succesfully.
environment sap bpc nw 7.5 sp04
we use the extraction BAdi /CPMB/EXPORT_TD_TO_BADI and use a
SELECTINPUT statement to select only lowest level members of the
hierarchical dimension PROFITCENTER. As long as we use <ALL> as
selection, we get error messages indicating that higher-level
members have been selected. Since we use SELECTINPUT we would expect
not to receive such warnings. Also there are no higher level members
passed through the Extraction BADI in IR_DATA tabel ... As a workaround
the i always has to manually select all profit center
Regards,

Hi SSK,
If i understood your question correctly, There must be some property by which you can select all the members i guess.
I think ,the error is because parent members are  selected  when you give select all. Since in BPC , they dont store any data or cant be manipulated, You could use some propert values to select the required profit_centre.
Example
Entity  dimension
IDs               Profit_Ctr             Input _ Indicator
Abc
XYz               Y                                N
   Xyz1           Y                                Y
This way your code could reflect   Select  Entity where  Input indicator ="Y", Profit_ctr = "Y"
Hope this helps
Thanks,

  • Assigning View permission to all the users that have been selected in contact selector - SP 2010, InfoPath 2010

I have a SharePoint InfoPath 2010 browser form with item level security. Only submitter
and approvers has access to the form.  This form contains a people picker that is populated with the names of attendees
for the meeting they attended (which
I am able to store in Field2 below). I want to allow attendees to be able to view (grant view permission) the InfoPath form. Field 2 has the users in form of domain\user1;domain\user2; etc. Following the below step, I am getting error when I ADD or REPLACE
permission on current item. How do I go about assigning view permission to all the users that have been selected in contact selector?
    Jitu

    Hi ,
i understand that the text box and the people picker hold multiple user names and you want to grant user permission based on the user in the text box.
I have a test based on your description, the results are: When there are multiple users in the text box, the workflow will throw an error'Error Occurred'.It is the same with the people picker column.
You need to limit the peopel picker to only allow to select one user,in this way the text box will only hold one user. Then you can use the people picker or the text box to grant user permission.

  • Cross-Dock: No inbound docs have been selected for planning

    Hi everybody here,
I am testing cross-docking function on our DEV environment. I set the warehouse 001 as one-step crossdocking and no opportunistic cross-docking allowed, not consider FIFO. The time ref. is delivery date & time, time window is set to 72H, release time is 2H and latest relase time is 1H.
Then I set movement type 501 and 201 as cross-docking relevancy.
I created 2 TRs with movement 501 and 201 with same material and same quantities. The 501 TR's planning time is 12:00, Aug 17 and The 201 TR is 23:00 Aug 17. However, when i run LXDCK to plan a cross docking with these 2 TRs, system prompts an error message "No inbound docs have been selected for planning".
If you guys have implementation experience of cross-docking, please give me some advice, many thanks!

  • Time Machine Error - No Backup Volume Has Been Selected

Just got the time capsule. Successfully had it replace old Airport Extreme setting. Successfully hooked it up via Ethernet to my iMac and completed a backup. Now I have it hooked up via Ethernet to my MBP. But I can't get it to backup
The Time Capsule disk mounts and I can see the files in it from my iMac backup. I'm connected to the Airport network.
In Time Machine preferences, it asks me to choose a backup disk. I select the time capsule. I turn the switch to on. And nothing happens. With the iMac, the backup started immediately.
After a minute, I get this error message:
    Time Machine Error
No backup volume has been selected.
To select a backup volume, open System Preferences and choose Time Machine.
Obviously, I have done this, but the Time Machine never turns on.
I have spent thirty minutes messing with this.
And suddenly, as I writing the post, and the error message comes up again, and I click Preferences, it switches to Preferences and suddenly, the backup starts.
    Go figure.

I had the same problem, though I have a non-conventional setup. My Time Machine volume is on a linux box shared with netatalk. Looking in the system log I was receiving, "System Preferences[295]: FSMountServerVolumeSync received error: -36". It turned out that the problem was with Little Snitch. Another post I found stated that Little Snitch was interfering with Time Machine's authentication when it was mounting the TM volume. Turning off Little Snitch fixed the problem. Seemed that simply rebuilding the Little Snitch rule list fixed the problems I experienced.

There is nothing wrong with my internet connection.
Is that a -50 error message, jolyn?
If so, perhaps try the "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

Can anyone help me with an issue I have with the SAP authentication setup please. Unfortunately our BI 4.0 SP4 installation was installed without the SAP authentication being selected. Hi Simon,
As Sebastian said, this is a default installation, but you must select the correct one that you need, I guess that Enterprise is the default one.

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I've been trying to activate Portfolio Transfer (TPM82) but I can't seem to succeed when I try to test.  Keep on getting this message "No suitable positions have been selected".  I already created update types and assigned it but still to no success.  I'm not sure if the update types I made are correct.  Please help me on this.  Please provide correct update types and pre-requisite set-ups in IMG which I could do.  Please be specific and don't generalize.  It's really hard to understand.  Kindly advice as well if there are pre-requisite process as well that the users need to do before using TPM82.
Your utmost help would be truly appreciated.
    Thanks so much.

I had checked the online help.  And tried to follow the steps but still not working.  Im not sure if I am doing the right thing.  Can someone please feed me with screenshots of a sample correct setting.  I'm not sure where to put the portfolios.  Will it be on the differentiations or would I need to create a term and assign to the differentiation.  please help.  My email add is [email protected]
    ● You have differentiated your securities positions according to portfolios. These settings are made in Customizing for the Transaction Manager by choosing General Settings → Accounting → Settings for Position Management→ Define and Assign Differentiations. Enter the portfolio when defining a differentiation and then assign the differentiation to the respective accounting codes.
this is the phrase from the SAP help that I'm having a hard time interpreting.
    Please help.
    Thanks.

After doing some troubleshooting I have discovered that the GB regdom is set when I connect to my wireless accesspoint with wicd. Wicd uses wpa_supplicant, I have set COUNTRY=BO in wpa_supplicant.conf, but it didnt help. If I dont connect I get to use my wireless adapter with the BO regulatory settings. Its a big mystery, especially considering the fact that I'm not in the GB, havent been there with this computer and I didnt find any config files where this locale was set either. Does anybody have an idea?

  • DTW: error "Duplicate bin locations have been removed - error id 1470000307"

    Hi,
When attempting to import inventory data, using the DTW business object "Inventory Transfer" and using the templates "Transfer", "TransferLines", "StockTransferLinesBinAllocations",  "BatcheNumbers" and "SerialNumbers", the following error message appears:
"Duplicate bin locations have been removed - error id 1470000307"
Prior to attempting this import, I had successfully imported the Bin Locations and the Warehouse Sub Level Codes through DTW.
This task relates to the replacement of the Inventory Pro Addon by the Bin Location functionality of SAP B1 version 9 PL10.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Kind Regards,
    Erik
