BADI for SRM ServiceAcknowledgementInformation_Out - URGENT!

Hi,
I have a problem looking for the BADI for the ServiceAcknowledgementInformation_Out in transaction SPROXY. the structure name is BBPX1_CONF_INFO_MESSAGE. how can I find the badi that uses the said structure? i tried the where used list but i find no badi. is there any other way?
If anyone have used the said structure please inform me on how it was used. Thanks very much!

you can use
get parameter id 'LIF' filed fld1.
get parameter id 'BUK' filed fld2.
Know you can get the vendor no and company code into your fields fld1 and fld2 and use them.

Can Badi WF_SUBSTITUTE be used for SRM approval substitution

Hi,
We have a requirement where we want the substitutes (active and passive) to be restricted by roles.
That is when the approver is assiging the substitute system should allow him to assign the substitute with users with Manager roles only.
Is it possible to user BADI WF_SUBSTITUTE for this purpose.
Has anyone used this BADI for this? Can you please send me the sample code for this?
It was not possible for me to restrict this using WF task- agent assignment.

What version of the SRM are you using? let me know?
Looks like this can be only used when you have universal worklist
, but that is possible only from SRM 6.0
I have done debugging in release lower than SRM 6.0 ,
that is SRM 5.0.
But unfortunately during debugging , i found that the above BADI was
not called anywhere, and i am not sure wether implementing the above
badi will solve the issue at all.
Further more , SRM code does not handle the determination of agents,
you can find the code , which is called for determination of agents
1) transaction code se80
2) select function group.
3) enter bw02
4) click display
5) tree --> subroutines ---> d1328_find_deputies.
Unfortunately , it is not possible to restrict from SRM

Hi Gurus, I would like to ask regarding the BADI for the P.O creation in SRM. I have a requirement that if the Account Assignment Type is "asset" it should tick the checkbox (goods receipt/confirmation of performance of service) in the related documents tab of item. Automitic source of supply assignment in backend system for SRM

Hello Experts,
I am facing one issue regarding source of supply for SRM purchase Requisitions in backend ECC system.
When we create a shopping cart in SRM 5.0, a purchase requisition is created in backend and has source of supply assigned to it.
I donu2019t want to assign source of supply to purchase requisitions created for SRM.
Can you please suggest how to achieve this?
Also I think, SRM is internally using BAPI u201CBAPI_REQUISITION_CREATEu201D from backend ECC system for creation of requisition. This BAPI has an importing parameter u2018AUTOMATIC_SOURCEu2019, and if we pass space to this parameter, it creates requisition without assigning source of supply.
If this is correct, then can I use any BADI or customization in SRM to set the value of this parameter as space when SRM calls this BAPI?

SPRO--> SRM > SRM server> cross application basic settings --> Define objects in backend system (PR,RS,PO)
waht is the settings you maintained for your product category / purchase group - external procurement .
the above setting determines your follow on documents in the backend systems.

User exit or badi for me52n transaction.

Hi all,
i have a requirement to write a user exit or badi for me52n transaction. the requirement is in header section, only one plant should be accepted. that is in the first row one plant will be inserted. in the second row if we are inserting another plant other the first row plant, it should not accept it and it should raise an error.
that is from the second row onwards, every plant should match with the first row plant.
if any part of this issue is unclear, plz let me know so that i can explain it clearly
this is urgent requirement.

In this version exit EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_005 should exists (look at OSS <a href="https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/843446">Note 843446 - MEREQ001: Cannot call up external service data in user exit</a> this note refers to the exit and is applicable in 4.70. Look also at OSS <a href="https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/310154">Note 310154 - ME21N/ME51N: Customer-specific check, generating error log</a>

Can anyone tell me an user exit or badi for Tcode CN22 which gets triggered when i save a network.
whenever i make changes in the WBS assignment of the network in the activity level then the i need to copy dates to other networks whenever a change in WBS element is done. Please treat this as pretty urgent

U can go through the tansaction.
System/ Status
Double click on program name.
For badis:
Search for the Phrase:
cl_exithandler=>get_instance.
U will the badi definitions.
For User exits:
search for the phrase: CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION
u will get the user exits.

BADI for changing product catgory

Hello SRM Experts,
I am looking for an BADI for changing product category.
We use classic scenario with an external catalog. Our supplier delievers us some data. Some of this data are used for statitical reason for example new item matgroup from oci interface.
now I want to determine the product categorie in relation to the delivered new item matgroup.
I have found some BADI to manipulate the Data - but not possible for product category. Thank your for help

Complexity of using N-step BADI in SRM 7using Process controlled Workflow.

I have a Shopping Cart requirement, Here i am asked to develop a Custom workflow for SRM 7.0.
And the client is looking for us to use Process Control Workflows i.e(BRF integrated one).
I need to understand the complexity of using a N-step BADI.
How would be the complexity level if I use a N step BADI( ie Multiple approval levels on Line Item Based).
Kindly tell me the complexity of Using it and if any one has come across some requirement like this, then explain me that how did you face the situation.

Is your project SRM 7.0 implementation project then you have to go for Process Controlled Workflow and if your project is upgrade then you can still go with Application Controlled Workflow but down line this has to switch to Process Controlled Workflow.

can anybody suggest me a user exit or a badi for checking the email id of the vendor in me21n or me22n or me29n.
i.e. a user exit or a BADI which gets hit either at the time of creation or release of a purchase order.

Iam not able to find the badi as you mentioned but there is a badi APPREQUEST_UPDATE availble for the same.
Implementing Business Add-Ins (BADI)
Steps:
1. Execute Business Add-In(BADI) transaction SE18
2. Enter BADI name i.e. APPREQUEST_UPDATE and press the display
button
3. Select menu option Implementation->Create
4. Give implementation a name such as ZAPPREQUEST_UPDATE
5. You can now make any changes you require to the BADI within this
implementation, for example choose the Interface tab
6. Double click on the method you want to change, you can now enter
any code you require.
7. Please note to find out what import and export parameters a
method has got return the original BADI definition
(i.e. APPREQUEST_UPDATE) and double click on the method name
for example within APPREQUEST_UPDATE BEFORE_UPDATE is a method
8. When changes have been made activate the implementation

Exit or badi for me21n- for adding new field in delivery tab(Item level)

My Requirement is to add the New Field(Inspection Lot) in delivery tab in item level of me21n .
I want to know this can be done by any Exit or Badi or modifying the standard sap is the only way to do this...

Actually,for every T-code,SAP has provided a lot of BADIs where the customer can write their own codes depending
upon the functionality required.
In order to find the BAD for a particular T-code,go to the T-code SE24 and type in cl_exithandler and click on
Display.
You will get a list of methods in that class,double click on the Get_Instance method from the list.
you will get the code for that method.Scroll down and you will find one of the parameters "Exit Name" there.Put a
breakpoint on that function module and press F8.
In the debugging mode,double click on the Exit Name to get the value contained in it.You will see the first BADI
provided in that T-code.
Note down this and then keep on pressng the F8 and noting down the BADIs being displayed.
Now ,you will have to find out the BADI which fits your requirement.
Now,it is not required to opy that BADI into ZBADI.Instead it is better to create a new implementation for this
BADI.
Go to the T-code SE18 and see its definition.
Now,go to the T-code SE19 and create a new implementation and write the code there.
Once done,activate that implementation and the BADI also.
Now run the T-code and debug the code that you have written.You can modify the code accordng to your requirements.

Workflows
1). BBP_CHNG_AGNT_ALLOW:          Allow / Allow Change/Add Approver
This BADI is implemented not to allow users to change the approvers in the workflow.
2). BBP_WFL_SECUR_BADI:          Overwrites the authorization level of the approver
This BADI controls the restart of the workflow
Purchasing Related
1). BBP_PGRP_FIND:               Shopping Cart: Determine Responsible Purchasing Group(s)
This determines the responsible purchasing group for the shopping carts.
Shopping Cart Related
1). BBP_SC_MODIFY_UI:          BADI to Change Shopping Cart Layout
2). BBP_GROUP_LOC_PO:          Exit Grouping of Items for Local Purchase Orders
This splits local PO if more than one contract in a PO.
3). BBP_TARGET_OBJECTS:          Exit while determining target objects in backend
4). BBP_WF_LIST:               Change Worklists and Search Results Lists
This is used to restrict the search results for the user.
5). BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE:          Exit when Creating a Contract in the Backend System
6). BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK:          Exit while creating a purchase order in the backend system
This BADI is used to add the shopping carts attachments to the PO and also to make adjustments in payment terms, currency etcu2026
7). BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI:     General BAdI in Cross-Check for Message Returns
8). BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI:     BAdI for Changing EBP Purchasing Documents
9). BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI:     ECS: PO Transfer to Logistics Backend
