Badi for workflow based on Product category

Hi,
Could let me know if there is any BADI that can be used to implement the process of my workflow based on product category.

Please go to SPRO nodes and there you will see one tab with BADI for self service procurement. there you will find badi.
i am not remeber the exact badi name but one badi is there bbp_target_sys

  • How do I get rid of the security warning for disc based Flash product

    I have a project that use a program called Articulate to turn
    powerpoint shows into a more rich flash product with audio, search
    capacities, quiz etc. There are multiple sections from multiple
    powerpoint files that generate a dozen or so flash files. The flash
    files reside in an html shell to allow for navigation. The whole
    thing is delivered on disc as a browser based training product.
    The problem is that viewing flash from a disc results in a
    security alert every time the viewer goes to a flash file. There is
    an Articulate theme blog that suggests using a product called
    server2go to make the disc function as a server to kinda fool
    browsers on the local machine into thinking the disc is a web
    server. My client wants the product to allow the users' default
    browser. So far, although server2go is supposed to allow this, it
    doesn't with the latest version of firefox (client's preferred
    browser). I can only get it to work on a select machine or 2 in my
    office with IE (server2go default) but it takes forever to launch.
    I haven't gotten it to work on any of the client's machines. The
    disc (auto launch) just freezes the machines.
    Can anyone recommend a better server emulation product, or
    tell me another solution to delivering a disc based flash product
    without getting the security warning and without making the viewer
    change settings on their machine to allow flash to play?
    I understand security issues but this makes flash virtually
    unusable for this application and I'm dead in the water if I can't
    fix it.

      I have a requirment where I have to set the under/over delivery tolerance limits to a fixed value based on the order quantity.I am not able to get any user exit or Badi to do the same.I am aware that this tolerance flows in from the work schedulling view in Material Master,But i need to change this in CO01/Co02.

    Kindly check the webdnpro component  /SAPSRM/WDC_SH_PRODCAT.
    This compoent is called for F4 help of product category.
    You can modify the  search help by enchancing it.
    If you want to  change the logic then in method ONACTIONDO_START you can add post exit.

    Hi Anil,
    I you want to create reservation, you have first to switch from ECS to classic scenario through BBP_EXTLOCALPO_BADI then you have to implement BBP_TARGET_OBJTYPE badi to determine the criteria to create a reservation in your backend.

  • Product category mandatory in the shopping cart ?

    We are studying shopping carts functionalities in SRM in activating ECS.
    We are not using articles, but only product categories. We would like to know if the product category is necessary mandatory in the shopping cart? Indeed, if the shopping cart is related to a simple customer need, the information of the product category is not always known by the requester. He would fill only the description of the request.

    Vinna,
    Product category (Material Grops) is mandatory for any shopping cart creation, However in SRM some of the basic configuration setting is based on product category only. Mainly the G/L account is mapped with product categories which is important for account validation in the shopping cart.

    I am using APO V5.1.
    I'm interested in using the Business Add in (BADI) for SNP capacity levelling.
    Can anyone tell me which BADI this is, and the possible functionality it can provide?

    To give you a couple of examples of what we use the BADi for:
    1) Based on a product characteristic, the levelling will only level certain products. E.g. you could set a characteristic to mark products for internal use versus export use and then level the internal requirements first.
    2) The levelling will only level planned production for highlighted orders in the data view.

    HI -We wanted to set up MOQ for material based upon customer category. For Ex All end users for Product A can order the product with any qty. Where as All Dealers order only should be in Min Ord qty or Multiples of this?
    Any thoughts to accomplish this?

    This can be achieved by enhancement (userexit_save_document_prepare in MV45AFZZ).
    You need to maintain a Z-table having min qty details for cust cat. You can even maintain material number if you have less number of materials.

  • GL Account/Product category mapping not working in transported client

    We have implemented SRM 5 and an Ecc 6.0 backend.
    We have transported the GL Account /Product category mapping config from the DEV client to the Quality client. In the quality client we run BDLS to set the correct backend system for the GL account/product category mapping.
    When we create a shopping cart, GL accounts are not determined. We have noticed that in table BBP_DET_ACCOUNT, the backend system is still pointing to the DEV client backend system not the quality client backend system. Why is this?
    Do we have to always manually reset this config in every client that we transport this table if we have new or changed entries?

    We have maintained chineese language descriptions for some of the product category ID's in our development server.(TCode used is COMM_HIERARCHY).
    At this stage there was no customisation request created for the above changes.Could some one give an idea to capture the above process in the form of customisation  request as we need to move the same to Quality and Production.

    Product Categories have GUIDs associated and these GUIDs are system dependent. So it is not advisable to have them in a Transport request. Thats why when you creating them it wont prompt for request. You would need to recreate them.

  • BADI for changing product catgory

    Hello SRM Experts,
    I am looking for an BADI for changing product category.
    We use classic scenario with an external catalog. Our supplier delievers us some data. Some of this data are used for statitical reason for example new item matgroup from oci interface.
    now I want to determine the product categorie in relation to the delivered new item matgroup.
    I have found some BADI to manipulate the Data - but not possible for product category. Thank your for help

  • Determine of Tax Code for Country/Product Category - Table handling

    Dear Experts,
    in SRM 7.0, CS, i am facing the following requirement regarding tax codes:
    We have users from different countries using SRM. These different countries have different tax codes that are to be used for legal reasons.
    My question is, how i can achieve a system behaviour, by which in the shopping cart, the correct tax codes gets selected automatically, based on the country of the user, who is creating the shopping cart.
    Question 1:
    Is it correct to assume, that this requirement can be achieved by maintaining the "Determine of Tax Code for Country/Product Category" - Table?
    Q2:
    What is the purpose of the 1st column of the above mentioned table, "Domestic/International Indicator"? Can it be left blank?
    Q3:
    Is it possible to fill in the values for the field "Country" BUT to leave the field "Category ID" empty???The reason for asking it, that otherwise several hundreds entries would have to be maintaind manaully...
    Q4:
    From where in the shopping cart or ppoma settings is the system fetching the Country code, in order to be able to use it in the table? Is there any specific attribute maintenance that has to be taken care of, so the above mentioned table can be used (e.g. delivery address, including the country information)?

    Here are my responses to your questions:
    Question 1:

    Answer -  If you have a requirement where different countries have different tax codes, then you do need this confiugration. Otherwise Configuraiton in Enter Tax Code  are sufficient.
    Q2:

    Answer - Sometimes you have different codes for International and Domestic purchases for a product Category. IN those situations you can select Domestic/International field to differentiate btw tax codes. Otherwise this field can be left blank

    Answer - No, if you enter country, then Category Id field is mandatory. You may enter * in case you dont have multiple backend systems. otherwise you will ve to ve individual entries for each category and backend system.

    Answer - It is picked up from the address of the user where is will receive goods. and Domestic/International will be decided based on Vendor address with reference to thta address.
