Badi issue

hi folks,
we r extracting data from crm through BADI,
while updating each application in crm, the BADI is executing and the data is capturing in data source.
we are executing our process chains(to pull the data from the data source) at night 12:30
Due to capturing in data source through badi execution time is taking too much in CRm.
please suggest how can we optimise this.

I recently bought a nokia 3120 classic.My first impression was sleek,handy,stylish phone.But i realised the facts
Lot of troubles one need to take
1)Low battery performance-daily you need to charge even though it was rarely used
2)Speaker-Literally worst speaker for a modern phone
3)Interface:even though s40,its slow.sometimes hangs out.Major issue:after restart or n/w change it will take some time to come up
4)Camera-its good,but sometimes it will take time to come for camer to open after pressing camera key,you need to wait and causes you to miss catchy moment
5)Echo-again major trouble it seems,a bad echo and poor voice clarity
6)Backlight-no way you can adjust backlight duration,it will go off within 14sec,even before you typing a message(if you r not good in same)
7)no idea how the phone will behave at important times
====>>my s/w version is latest v 9.41, it will make no difference.
Y Nokia made this????
any one have a comment / resolution / opinion , most welcome
i just want to see it working fine.

My comment is it's a dud. The 3120 is my first nokia. I was led to believe they were reliable and easy to use phones. I was attracted to it by its sleek retro look. But its fuctionality is hopeless. Exactly what you said: Y DID NOKIA MAKE THIS???

After 4.1.2 update bad issues with gs3

I was prompted to run the new 4.1.2 update and did so. All seemed to work ok at first until I tired to load a picture into a text message. The phone would keep locking up and forcing me to restart my device. Upon further review, my gallery tab has completely changed once clicked (which is ok, no big deal) but it no longer works. Every single time i try to load up my gallery tab, my phone freezes and shuts down. I thought i had gotten a virus so i changed every password i could while i did a hard/full reset on my phone. I went thru the initial start up just as if i had boughten the phone new again and guess what, same problems but only worse. I took the micro sd card out of my phone and plugged it into my desk top and it force closes every single time and it keeps telling me that my micro sd card is corrupt now. I am absolutely furious that this is going on, I have a 9-month old child and take a ton of pictures, all of which are gone now. All of my music too. So as it appears right now, not only is my phone so glitchy now that it is all but unusable (no longer holds phone calls for more then 30seconds or WIFI connection is toast on the phone as well and the phone gets SUPER hot). My wife has an Iphone4 and she never drops a call or wifi and our phones can be side by side. I have lived in my current house over a year and never had issues until my phone updated 2 nights ago. So now i have a ruined 32gb micro sd card, and a phone that is basically a paper weight (not a good one either, may burn my house down as hot as it gets) Battery life is down to about 4hours max because the phone has SO many perment apps that it will not let me shut off. I really need help with this 4.1.2 update before my wife and I leave verizon. Have had a great phone until this update, now its junk, it has wiped out a lot of memories from my 9month old that i will never get back. someone please help me, for the sake of everyone, you dont want my wife and i to show up to the store this livid that our $700 phone is now useless.

Doing the master reset has helped my phone out a bunch. It appears to be working properly at this time. I did however have to erase and reformat my microsd card which means I lost all of my photos and vids. My backup assistant says it is running and updateing but it however hasnt backed up a pic or vid since christmas (I can tell by the photos and remember when taken). None of my newer photos (since Christmas 2012 until now) were backed up. Nothing I can do about it now, they are gone which sucks, I have my first child (10 months old now) whose photos are all gone. That hurts pretty badly when my phone was working just fine (the update ran over night in my sleep). I woke up to see that my phone had updated, I was excited until I tried to use my gallery and realized my card was corrupted. I took the card out of my phone, plugged it into my computer and my computer even froze trying to load the pictures on it (my computer is/was brand new in march so its not like its an old clunker). The only issue I am still seeming to have is the fact that my phone is still getting really hot. It is not as hot as it was before the master reset but it is still hotter then it was prior to 6/30/13 when the update first ran. It seems like there is a process or feature that is always on that is making it over heat.

BADI issue to calculate virtual characteristics in Query

i am facing an issue during calculating Virtual Char through BADI.
when i execute the query in RSRT, ABAP dump is coming.
when i saw the error message log. it is showing that a statement can not be executed while that statement i am not using in my BADI.
Actually that statement is using in another BADI in Compute~Single Method.
Why this is happening.

even info provider name is also correct in define method.

Custom screen for ME21n - BADI issue

hi,
I had implemented BADI ME_GUI_PO_CUST for ME21n/me22n. The control is going to Subscribe and Map Dynpro methods but the control is not going to other methods like TRANSPORT_FROM_MODEL, TRANSPORT_TO_DYNP, TRANSPORT_FROM_DYNP and TRANSPORT_TO_MODEL.
Please explain how we can make the control to move to these methods. not sure what is missing in the implementation

"Customer Data" on ME21N/ME22N uses the SMOD enhancement MM06E005. Screen 0101 is used for Header Customer Data. So, when you navigate through this screen it doesn't go through the TRANSPORT* methods.
You can also use the BADI ME_GUI_PO_CUST to add your additional tabs in ME21N. You need to use the method SUBSCRIBE to set the Program, Subscreen number and other details. When you do the subscribe method, it would call the TRNSPORT* methods. Check the example code given in the class CL_EXM_IM_ME_GUI_PO_CUST.

I am implementing the method 'CALC_SAL_ADJUSTMENT' of the BAdI definition 'HRECM00_ACTIVATION'. As per the requirement, I have to copy the record in the importing parameter IT0008_OLD, make some modifications to the record and then pass it on to the exporting parameter IT0008. Simultaneously, a new infotype 0008 record has also to be created based on the data in the new record IT0008. I tried using the FM 'BAPI_BASICPAY_CREATESUCCESSOR', since this will also delimit the previous record.

However, it is raising an exception 'cx_hrpa_violated_precondition', which is not caught and hence a run-time error.

Do CIF BAdIs issue implicit COMMIT WORKS (for FM's called "in update task")

I am calling the CIF BAdI:
/SAPAPO/TR_TRANSFER.
In the PUSH_LANE_DATA method of this BAdI, I want to call a function module "in update task".
To trigger the actual execution of this function module, do I have to code an explicit COMMIT WORK in the BAdI or will SAP automatically generate a COMMIT WORK when the BAdI ends?

Hope you have called the FM correctly with the additional importing parameter , also check if your FM is RFC enabled then check the "pass by value" option.

Image Acquisition BAD Issue

Hi. Today I've experienced my first BAD bug in mac os.
I was importing some pictures from my camera, a Nikon coolpix P90, and i used the ilife 09's bundled app to do that, because within iphoto i can't rotate my pictures before acquiring them (since the original is imported as is, the correctly oriented one becomes a copy of the original and occupies useful space in my hdd).
So, i marked by mistake the option whic cleans the camera's memory after the import job, and iphoto was unable to import 92 pictures. So, my pictures are lost. I tried to find with terminal the /private/tmp folder mentioned in iphoto's error message which should have contained the "unreadable" pictures but i didn't found anything. i tried also a command to enable hidden folders to be showed by finder and i've restarted it, but as before, no trace of "half-imported" pictures. I lost them, i know. It's a bug. But i lost the last pictures of a person that is no more with us. If someone could tell me what should i do to recover them i will appreciate. sincerely. thanks.

First, rotating a photo in iPhoto doesn't seem to make a complete copy of the photo, so not much additional space is occupied.

Those pictures have been deleted from the camera card, but may be recoverable. Visit VersionTracker (http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx) and search for terms like "photo" and "recover". Among others I found this shareware utility:

If your camera's memory card doesn't appear as a mounted volume on your Mac, it may be easier to recover those pictures if you put the card into a USB card reader.

Bad Issue playing Age of Empires III

Hi everyone,
I have a Pre february 08 MBP which I recently upgraded to Leopard. The computer fits all the minimum and recommended system requirements for Age of Empires III. The game runs fine with the graphics maxed out, Until, I started to play the maps that have bodies of water on them as well as the campaign game mode. At this point, the game and my computer freezes as little as 5 mins into playing. I cannot force quit and have to manually shut the computer down by holding down the power button for 5 secs. I don't understand what could be causing this. I have tried playing with the graphics to a minimum and it still happens. Also I have tried to play the multiplayer mode with gameranger but the client won't even load, it encounters a problem and has to be closed.
I thought that these were windows problems, It is extremely annoying that this is happening so soon into switching from windows to Apple.
Any help would be amazing!

Hi Mike, I heard back from MacSoft about the Age of Empires III problem. They confirmed that it's a problem with the QT7.1.5 update on 10.3.9. However, it is possible to watch the movies if you navigate to the folder that you have created in the steps above. It will be necessary to drag the movies back into the "avi" folder after we have an update for the game that addresses this issue.

We have a rather strange and a very high priority problem while using the BADI WORKORDER_UPDATE for creation of Maintenance orders.
We have added some bespoke code into the method BEFORE_UPDATE of the BADI WORKORDER_UPDATE and expect it to be called everytime a maintenance order is created. It is called every single time a maintenance order is created, but only once if I schedule orders to be created through a maintenance plan.
For example, if I try to schedule a maintenance plan and create 10 orders using transaction IP10, the WORKORDER_UPDATE BADI is called only while creation of the first order and not the subsequent ones. We are in a fix at this stage since we have a lot of bespoke code which updates customer tables and the data for the 9 orders is totally lost!!
I just wonder why the BADI isn't called everytime !!! Any inputs please?!

As per my understanding this is similar to billing document and billing plan. which means, billing plan will have all the billing documents in the list so you need to check if it has any table which holds all the data.
When you schedule, may be all the 10 orders in one of the table in the badi and you may need to change the logic to see if there are any documents exists.

Help: BADI issue.

I have encountered an error when I tried to active my Implementation of BADI. It reports <b>Class 'ZCL_IM_XXXX' does not contain an interface 'ZIF_EX_XXXX'</b>. But I had defined it in the definition of BADI. Has someone fixed such problem, plz give me some hints. Many thanks for that.

in Se19 >give name to implementation-> it will ask for definition -->then u have to select the Method and do the implementations , finaly u have to do Syntax and activation ?

Bad Issue

Here whats up.
I have a IPhone 5. The lock button is broken, i dont know my password, all i have is assitive touch, and the only way to sync my phone to restore it is to enter the password which i do not know. BTW I DO NOT USE ICOULD. NEED HELP!!

your only option is to restore your phone as new using iTunes, this will remove the passcode, that you don't remember.
there is no workaround. Hopefully you have a iTunes backup, you can restore to.

Different issues on Satellite L450D.

I bought this laptop a couple of months ago and im having major problems!
First of all my first problem was that when i first tried to activate my mcafee trial it said it had expired even though i only started up the laptop! But this problem didnt matter anyway as i have had further problems.
Well anyway since that, every now and again my laptop seems to sort of crash and freeze up andit will say windows explorer isnt responding so then i have to restart the laptop and then a thing comes up from windows saying it has to check for "consistency" and it does this often! whatever the problem is i dont know and also incase you think its viruses or spyware or anything like that, its not! because i have had Norton 2010 on my laptop, then removed norton and tried AVG and still nothing was found. I have also done a scan with malwarebytes and nothing has been found!.
Now as of TODAY i have had another problem.
I started up the laptop and it said windows was not genuine when it clearly is genuine because it was bought from Argos and i even went into the system props and it says it is activated and genuine but i was getting messages saying it wasnt genuine!.
Ever since i got this laptop i have had problems with it and im starting to think it is faulty because i have wiped everything out before because the sytem wasnt starting right so i used the data used in disk D.
Even when i done a clean install it still gives me problems!! I think its a fault guys, what can i do?
I brought it to Argos and they kept it overnight but nothing happened as i might have guessed! and they wont give me a replacement or refund because as far as they see it there is no problems with the laptop when there clearly is because i have had problems! Now it is under toshiba standard warrienty so what should i do???

To be honest it is not easy to say what to do in this situation.
When you have several different issues with the notebook it is always best idea to install OS again and test it with factory settings. OK you have done it already but I don't know how you have done this. Maybe you have started to install some favourite software and suddenly it started again and again.
This activation with McAfee is already reported in this forum but obviously there must be some problem with server connection by McAfee. So this issue has nothing with Toshiba. In my opinion you should remove McAfee immediately after clean OS installation. I recommend you to use http://www.free-av.com/
It is free and great antivirus that uses less system resources and run extremely stabile. I use it for years now.
These freezing issues can be result of many different things and it is not easy to say why this happen.
# Enter BIOS and set it to default settings
# Try please to install OS again using recovery image.
# Remove McAfee and install Avira antivirus
# Remove Tempro from the system
# Use clean preinstalled OS for day or two to see if all these issues will occur again
Let us know if all these bad issues will happen again.
BTW: which notebook model do you have exactly?

I have got a bad issue in my data base. let me put it in this way: "there are three database users in my company. one of my client to say had enterd a wrong data into a table , 3 days ago at 8:00am. i want to roll back the database to 3 days point, to say 7:55am. this should be done in such a way that my two other users entry to database should not be rolled over to previous one." is this possible? we use oracle 9i database.

Do you have RMAN backup??
If not, then you may follow below steps to recover using your export dump:
1) Create a new schema somewhere in TEST/Development database, or use any of the existing schema other than the production
2) Import required table(s) into this schema from export dump.
3) Give it to users to identify the correct/incorrect data.
4) Once incorrect data is identified in testing schema, delete it from the production.
Backup, restore and recovery are responsibilities of a DBA, whereas identifying correct/incorrect data is responsibility of System Analyst/Business Analyst.

Approval Preview issue

Hi,
Recently we upgraded our production system to SRM 5.5 Server from SRM 3.0. We were using a custom N-step BADI workflow in SRM 3.0. After upgrading it to SRM 5.5 server(we are using the std N-step BADI workflow in our upgraded system), the PO workflows that were awaiting approval before upgrade are not showing the approvers in the approval preview. But the new PO's seems to work fine. The approver list in the wofkflow container for these PO workflows are empty. Have anyone faced this issue before?

   You need to apply several OSS notes based on the Support pack level for the BADI issues like no display of approvers in Apoproval preview,java applet error etc....
