I am facing the problem, I was created one new tab in header data of MIGO Transaction. After implementing that tab , the last tab
'excise invoice' is not coming
But if i am deactivating my badi code, then it is coming
So Plz lead me .

Hi, for one my LabVIEW application, I have created two installers
Including all the required additional installers (Installer)
With no additional installer (patch installer)
So that, for further versions they can use only patch installer.
When I try to installer both the installer of same version which created two icons in “Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features” as shown below.
When I am installing the second installer (patch), I expected that it will either overwrite the existing or it will not allow me to install. But both didn’t happen.
Please share your thoughts on the above.

i was about to hide few set of drives in my pc from other standard user's by using group policy object. but there are only few set of drives available by default. so by few surf in the official windows sites i found the above link that guide one to create
custom set of drives along the existing one in gpo, by creating a new .adm file and importing the same into it.
but my query is, in the given guide they have said that
"Microsoft does not recommend to change the System.adm file, but instead to create a new .adm file and import this .adm into the GPO. The reason is that if you apply changes to the system.adm file, these changes might get overwritten if Microsoft
releases a new version of the system.adm file in a Service Pack."
so weather the new .adm (with different name) file that i am going to import into it will replace/overwrite the already existing template (that is "Hide these specified drives in My Computer" in the GPO) or create a new one under "Configuration
--> Policies --> Administrative Template --> Classic Administrative Templates. "

Not really, the new .adm file won't replace/overwrite the already existing template. While, in my opinion, it would be better to make a backup for this default file in case there was any damage of your later operation.

How can I transfer a profile to my new computer without overwriting the existing profile?

I have a new Window 7 computer and have started using TB. I now want to transfer my messages from my old (Window XP) and do not want to overwrite the data in the new computer. Is there a way to transfer the old data and add it to the new profile?

For your serial number, if Photoshop is still running on your old machine;
Start Photoshop. Goto Help > System Info. Buried in amongst all the stuff in there will be your serial number. Read through it carefully.
If Photoshop is not installed / running on your old machine, then you are indeed pretty much hosed.
This is always assuming software that old will run successfully on a new machine, of course.

Will LDAP overwrites the existing mailboxes??

Dear NetPro gurus,
One of my customers had their Unity Connection 8.0 integrated with CallManager 8.0 via AXL. And they would like to migrate the existing integration to integrate with LDAP. They have the following question:-
Since the Unity Connection already has all the mailbox with 'EXACTLY THE SAME' Alias as the LDAP username, if we integrate the Unity Connection with LDAP, would it delete all the existing mailboxes?? (i.e. would it delete all the mailboxes so that all the settings like 'Greeting WAV', 'Caller Input' settings, VoiceMail PINs, mailbox language settings be deleted??). Or would it mark all the mailboxes as 'In-active'??

How to hide a tab from the existing tabstrip of CRMD_BUS2000111 transaction

I have to hide competitor tab from the tabstrip of CRMD_BUS2000111 transaction in CRM. I have tried shd0 but since this is not a dialog transaction we cannot create screen variant. After that I tried BUCO transaction.In BUCO I selected Sales Area data then competitors. But when I double click on compititors it is showing a message VCT control for screen configuration does not exist.
I do not have much idea about BUCO. Can any one help me solving my problem?

With the following command you can register you .ocx ( Visual Buttons Control files ) in windows.
REGSVR32 C:\Progra~1\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui\vistransmitter.ocx
The above command will register said file in the registry and facilitate Visual Configurator Tool to run for Screen Sequence Modifications. With the above I also recommend Latest Patch (23), which is available with SAP to update on the windows frontend to avoid some other known frond end issues.
Before doing all above make sure your have 2 files existence in the C:\Progra~1\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui folder

I want to import bookmarks (.json) from my old computer BUT i do NOT want to overwrite the existing bookmarks on my new computer. How can I do this? Other solutions simply restore (i.e., overwrite)...

All good ideas!! However, here's another twist. There are actually TWO old computers--my old personal laptop and my old work computer--different sets of bookmarks. And no, I don't have access to either computer anymore.
However, it sounds like I can do two iterations of AliceW's suggestion--i.e., Export my current bookmarks, restore first old computer bookmarks, export restored bookmarks, restore second old computer bookmarks, then reimport both created sets to merge into a new super bookmarks. Is that correct?
I think I'll go take a walk in the park first to clear my head... then I'll come back and try it. It sounds quite easy in principle.

hi if i am using below code with date time stamp the file is downloaded to the application server correctly and each time i execut eht program a difference file is generated as date time stamp differs each time but
whne i remove the date time stamp ie sy-datum and sy-uzeit as we dont need to display the date time stamp with the file each time i execute the program a file is generated but it overwrites the ealier existing file please suggest as each time it shoul generate a new file....

first of all decide you have to overwrite the existing file or you want to create the new, i think the answer is there in your query itself, if you want to create new then concatenate the date and time, else don't do that.
below are the additions we can use while opening the data set.

The old hard drive was operating on Xp and new hard drive is Windows 7, if this makes any difference.

Unfortunately there is no simple method and, the workaround is far from perfect. The .json files Firefox uses overwite the existing bookmarks but the .html option appends and does not overwrite.
First of all backup all bookmarks on each hard drive. The best method of doing that is to backup the Firefox profiles, that captures the bookmarks databases (''places.sqlite'') and the autobackups that Firefox holds.

Picture Library : upload image with same name overwrite the image in thumbmail or WebVersion view but not the actual image link points to the old image

I am facing a wired issue with Picture Libraries in SharePoint.
We created a custom field and added it to UserInfo list, the column based on custom field lets user upload their personal images to a Picture Library with the name <User ID>.<Image Extension> e.g. 1.jpg where UserID is internal Listitem ID of the UserInfo list and set its URL to the field value which we use to display the image on our custom user profile and some other WebParts.
If the user uploads a different image, it will overwrite the existing one it keeping the same name.
The field worked perfectly with sites using widows Based authentication, but as we move the field to sites with form based authentication we find that the field is able to upload the image properly first time but on each successive upload, although a new image gets uploaded with the name userid.imagextension and is shown in the allitems.aspx page in the thumbnail view and in the picture preview on the dispform.aspx page, but the link next to the name field and the image shown on clicking the preview points to the old image.
To put it other way

I confirmed the same by actually repeating the same exercise on a picture Library in the User Interface
Uploading an image say upload.jpeg in the picture library using SharePoint interface.
Then uploading a different jpeg image keeping the same name upload.jpeg again in the picture library.
In allitems.aspx thumbnail view and on dispform.aspx page preview filed image now show the newly uploaded image but when you click the preview image or click the link in the name field value it takes you back to the old image.
I have seen this issue on environment where we have enabled form based authentication and the issue is not seen on another server where we have wss with windows based authentication.
Has anyone noticed such behavior and is there any workaround to that!

All,
I had the same issue.
In my case, Blob Cache was enabled for the web application in which the image issue was occuring.
I cleared blob cache, and after doing a hard refresh of my browser, the correct image was then displayed.
To clear blob cache, do the following:
Navigate to:
http://yourwebapp:port/yoursite/_layouts/objectcachesettings.aspx
Select: "Object Cache Flush" and "Force all servers in the farm to flush their object cache" check boxes
Click the OK button

Duplicating the existing sourcesystem assignments to a new source-system

Hi all
We have another new sourcesystem (logical system) in our BI system.
This is a copy of the productive erp-sytsem, upgraded to EHP4.
Now we want to test the connectivities and data load procedures.
Is there a possibility to "copy" all the existing datasources/transformations of an existing system
to this new system without using transports?
We already tried using report 'RBDLSMAP' but it seems to overwrite the existing assignments.
Any idea??

You have to use a transport , to transport the source system dependent objects normally the following procedure is used:
RSA1
Transport Connection
Button 'Collection mode' set to 'start manual collection'
Press 'Source system assignment' button (it's the one left of the
'Request BEx' button)
Select the source systems you want to save the transfer rules for
Continue
Button 'Grouping' set to 'Save for system copy'
At the left border click on 'Object Types'
Extend tree 'Source system' LSYS
Double click on 'Select objects'
Select the source systems you want to collect objects for
the source system is now displayed in the right box
Press collecting button ('gather dependent objects')
this may take a while
Right click on the root of the tree and select
Transport all below
Expand the whole tree and check if there isn't an object which is locked
by an other open transport request !!
(the column 'Transport request' has to be empty (BEFORE deleting the corresponding source system
connection!)

Can I install a new copy of the OS X software in place of the existing OS if I don't know the original OS admin password?

I bought a used donated Macbook 4,1 to dip my toes in the Apple world. The system has the OS X 10.6 operating system but the admin name and/or password that I was given does not work and I have tried every combination that I can imagine. The charity has no way to contact the original owner.
If I purchase a new copy of OS X 10.6.8 (or other version suggestions for this early 2008 Macbook model???) from Apple, will I be able to overwrite the existing install and start fresh or will the lack of an admin password prevent me from installing the new OS? Is there another alternative???

You first need to erase (reformat) your hard drive.

Can I sync my Outlook 2010 contacts to my IPhone without overwriting the contacts already on my phone? I sync my mail to exchange

I have an IPhone that syncs to my Outlook 2010 via Exchange. The email and calendar syncs automatically. I would like to sync my contacts but currently have that setting turned to "off" because I want to add my Outlook contacts but not lose my contacts on my phone. If I sync the contacts will it just add the new ones and not overwrite the existing contacts on my phone?

I do not follow what you're trying to do.
The device is already syncing contacts from an Exchange account? Or you want to be able to sync contacts from an exchange account without deleting the contacts already on the device?
Adding a new account to sync contacts does not affect the contacts already on the device.
