Baisc RAR question - how to get a violation

Hello,
we've installed a new GRC Access Control 5.3_10.2 System. RAR and CUP have been configured according to the config-guide and the post installation process. As backend system a IDES system with HR has been connected.
Connection to the system works fine and I have active rules, risks, actions and imported users and roles.
A job to generate a management report runs properly.
Within the management report there is data (shows number of risks, roles etc.) but absolutely no violations!
I tried to provoke a violation, using a SAP standard risk for HR: H001 (which can be seen in RAR and is active).
This risk has 2 actions that are not allowed to be used together: HR03 (containing transaction PA30) and PY04 (containing transaction PA03). Now I created two roles, one for accessing PA30, the other one accessing PA03. A composite role containing the 2 single roles I created as well. There is a User that has this comp. role.
When importing data from the backend, I can find the user and the 3 roles in RAR. But after running an analysis job there is still no violation! Using the rule architect to find critical roles brings no violations as well.
What am I doing wrong? Do I have to use ALL actions within a function or do I have to configure something else?

Hello Imanol,
No I combined access to pa30+pa03 in one single role and assigned it to a user in backend.
When synchronizing it with a job in RAR the new role is present but the check on neither the role nor the user gives me an access violation!
Is it necessary to have ALL the actions defined in the functions since I only took ONE (trans-)action from both functions?
--> I just figured out that when I want to create a new function, there are no actions (pre-)defined for my system. Is that normal? I reimported the su24 extract successfully but still no actions to be selected in function creator

Question: how to get the adobe plug in to play a downloaded flv file ?

I want to know how to get the flv adobe plug in which i downloaded as a result abc or nbc or cbs.com i forget exactly which said i had to and also it seems to be used for playing most all videos from web such as those from utube,hulu, etc. So my question is how do i get the plug in to play any downloaded *.flv video ? The particulars on the one i have is:
Output folder: C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
Execute: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\uninstall_plugin.exe"
Extract: NPSWF32.dll
Extract: NPSWF32_FlashUtil.exe
Extract: flashplayer.xpt
also perhaps FLVPlayer.swf of about 9Kb may have something to do with it?

Unfortuneately it has something also to do with the useless *.swf files which are apparently of no use to anything and could certainly be eliminated .
I have downloaded several freebie flv players such as bs player etc. etc. but they all have so many faults and are not suitable. Bs player does what i want but it hangs , have to go to system mgr. to get out of it sometimes , often difficult to use etc.etc. The main features is i need is to be able to make and play playlists to automatically in full screen one after the other in a specified order with NO user intervention and the ability to magnify or 'pan in' i guess they call it and change aspect ratios so that i can have full screen as if just cropping part of horizontal such as if want to view a 16/9 aspect ratio on a computer as i have with the prior standard 4/3 aspect and change a downloaded vertically stretched to a cropped instead etc.
Also it doesn't make sense to download others and take up disk space when already have the adobe - also adobe seems to be the only one that plays hulu flv's correctly - on other flv players the video and audio are way out of sync and not just by few seconds but often by a minute or more. I know there is another 'pain' way to do it which is create a *.avi or other extension with loss of clarity etc. which have done but would like to be able to just do it in real time while playing the flv file itself as for example
as bs player does.
Anyway if there is no way to get adobe to do this does anyone know of any other free flv player downloads which will do what
i want - basically playlists, magnify , pan,crop and still full screen, change aspect ratios - other than bs player ?

The plugin is what it is: a browser plugin - it cannot act as a standalone player.
To play local flv files you either need to
download/install the standalone player (Projector) from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
download/install Adobe Media Player http://www.adobe.com/products/mediaplayer/

Quick question: How to get the scrolled page number using af:table

When using range paging on scrolled table, how to get the current scrolled page number(1,2,3...), for example when moving the table vertical scroll bar forward or backward, is there any method in ViewObjectImpl class that I can use to get such information? I have seen the method scrollToRangePage(int i), but when scrolled ("Fetching data..."), it doesn't not get into this method. So it is wrong usage for this method, right?

Hello,
If you have access to PFTC_DIS, choose "Workflow template" for Task type and do a list of values on the Task field (which has the WS* number, but without the WS). This will give you the full list.
If you don't have access to PFTC_DIS, but do have access to SE16 or SE12, look in table
HRS1000 where OTYPE = WS and LANGU = EN.

Can someone please help me with the first step:

I simply want the DVD to have one .tiff canvas with about five scenes to click on.
The MiniDV footage is all 4.3.
(I'm hoping my FCP Chapter Markers pop up in DVD Studio Pro like they do in iDVD?).

As you'll probably know by now, there are many ways to get this working - like most apps there is more than one approach to the work.
You could drop the MPEG2 and the AC3 file into a track then switch to your menu viewer. Look in the outline view and click and drag the track into the menu viewer - hold it just long enough for the sub-menu to appear and select the option which connects to your track and builds all your buttons for you.
The templates are just ways to make the disc look a bit more polished when done - you don't actually have to use them at all, and in fact you can just draw buttons out on the menu space without a background in use. Looks kind of gray when you do though!

Hmm...that's strange. Try this: From the FCE menu bar, select Window>Arrange>Standard
If that doesn't do the trick, your FCE Preferences may have gotten corrupted. Trash them exactly as described here:

Simple question, how to get photos fading in and out

Sorry, don't use Flash much at all, I'm trying to do something that's probably very simple. This question has probably been answered before but I'm not even really sure what keywords to search for, I tried slideshow and a glut of irrelevant info came up.
I want to create a swf of 5 photos that fade into each other. For example, black background, first photo fades up from alpha 0 to alpha 100 in one second, stays on screen for 4 seconds, then fades back to alpha 0 while the next photo fades up, etc, then the 5th photo fades back into the 1st photo and it loops.
What's the best, easiest way to accomplish this with cs4?
Also, if the jpgs are 980 x650 pixels and approx. 70 kb apiece, will I need a preloader if I'm going to use the swf as a header to my site? If so, is there a simple, plug n play preloader I can use?

MacMail question--how to get "mailbox" changed from "on my mac" back to server?

I'm still learning Mac..... (and don't know if I'm even posting in correct forum).
Got iMac last year. I use aol email address and I keep all personal and important emails so my inbox is rather large, but when I got a new Macbook Air, I decided to clean up my mailbox a bit and learned about mailboxes and smart boxes, etc., and so I set up a few mailboxes on my MBA without realizing that it would affect mail on my desktop! Dumb, I know. I just didn't realize it meant on that particular mac. Duh.
Anyway, can I undo my mailbox creation and put everything back into the inbox on server for now?

How do I move the mail back to the server? I guess I'm not googling the right terms because I can't find any instructions. I created a test mailbox to try and move it back to the "inbox" and nothing happened (drag and drop). I'm new to Mac and "just get by" in my knowledge of using it.

Audiophile Audigy4 question: How to get 196/24 on dvd?

New here, did a search and didn't come up with any answers. I have a very fine turntable/cartridge connected to the analog inputs at the back of the Audigy4. I would like to transfer some master recorded vinyl to my hard drive at 192/24 and then make a dvd to play in my sound system. Is this possible? I have other DVD-Audio discs that sound very, very good (e.g. Eagles, Hotel California, 192/24 stereo track) and would really like to make some of these from my vinyl collection but haven't figured out how. Is there a way, or can someone direct me to a link that deals with this sort of thing?

In the advance tab of the button Inspector you can set how you want the buttons to navigate. For the "next" button - set to auto activate when the user selects it.

Question--How to get streaming video?

I have a MBP with 10.6.8., 1.66 intel, 4 GB/ 1067 Mhz DDR3 memory. We have wireless and I have been informed that we don't use a fraction of our capacity. Nevertheless I dan't get streaming video. I get the audio and the video has to catch up. I use Airport. I have ignored thisproblem until now as I seldom bother with Youtube, etc. but now I would like to watch work-related video. Any ideas? I am a perpetual novice.
