BAM Error - during the creation of BAM Activity and View in EXCEL

I'm getting an error "The Cube could not be created successfully. Please edit the view and validate the inputs" during the creation of BAM Activity and VIEW in MS Excel for BAM
Error Details:
Error Description:
The following system error occurred: Invalid class string .
Error Source:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Analysis Services 2008.
Please help me in resolving the issue. Thanks in Advance!!

I was entered install.cmd BAM According to the instructions specified in README.txt.
During this i was entered hostname, port, service name and sys password also, but it is giving some error as shown below.

If you have an existing ADC, it must be upgraded manually after the install. If this is a new install, you must manually create a new ADC after the install.

Error during the creation of notification

Dear All,
We are facing the error when we are carrying out the transaction EG90
for collective creation of notification for device replacement say out of 1000 equipments 998 notifications were created automatically but for rest two device locations the follwing error comes "internal error during determination of pm plant for device with equipment number xyz
error message EG621 .
I have cheked the master data of the equipments all maintended properly
can you give me some idea what coulld be the problem .

Error during the creation of transport request

Hi
After collection of the objects in transport connection and clicking on the truck icon. the follwing msg is being displayed and cannot more furthur with all objects.
Edit objects separately since they belong to different original systems
after clicking on the display icon...The followin msg is being displayed
The objects R3TR IOBJ 0SOURSYSTEM und R3TR IOBJ 0LOGSYS cannot be edited together because the 1st object's original is in this system, whereas the 2nd object's original resides in another system.
Did anyone come across this issue. Plz help me with the solution.

Sorry for late reply. I did maintain the conversion of logical system name in my production. In my production system, the error is 12 and in method exeuction is:

Script task error during the creation of partition by reading a table and using AMO - SSAS 2012

Hi,
I need to create SSAS (tabular) and process partitions in an authomatic manner. Moreover, the partitioning is respect to a category, an year and a month.
Category, year and month are resident on a table to read to create the SSAS partitions.
So, in a SSIS pkg:
a. I've created a data flow task to read the SQL Server table having category, year and month data,
b. I've connected the output of the ole db source as the input for a recordset destination, associated to an object variable,
c. I've used a for each loop container (ado enumerator) specifying the object variable and three variables, for category, year and month,
d. inside the for each loop container I've created a script task using AMO (visual basic) to control for any existing partitions, if not presents to create the new ones and then to process them.
For the first iteration, a new partition has been created and processed successfully, but then, for other category, year and month values the script task fails. I've controlled the code many times and I've tried to put returning messageboxes but I've found
anything. The error is a generic one and no other info are returned.
Well, any suggests to me in order to solve this issue, please?

But when I have tried to create the STEP, the system display this error
" You may not substitute any fields for this Event"
I think that I have to define the fields, but how to do this?

It is probably that the one or both of the following situations
apply:
1) please check the value for field BEXCLUDE in table GB01 for the
relevant field(s). If the field has the value X then it cannot be
substituted in the standard system.
Please refer to the attached note 42615 regarding this.
2) please check if any of these substitutions involved a modification
at callup point 3.
See the attached note 386896, where it states:
"As of Release ERP 2004, you can no longer use the source code
corrections as these can cause inconsistencies between the entry
view and the general ledger view.
As of Release ERP 2004 you can also use the AC_DOCUMENT BADI for
postings using the accounting interface."

Hi,
While creating the delivery, an error is produced when i saw the log . It was as follows
"An Item with no delivery quantity is not permitted. Item will be deleted"
The material is unrestricted, not reserved for any other orders except my PO .
any idea about this error?

Its concerned to Indian Excice.
Error during the creation of PO is " Total BED % rate exceeds 100 % " ,
( Message no. 8I453).
And you pls note in J1ID its 16% maintained for that perticular chapter id and its 100% for BED in tax code.
Can you pls tell me the reason for this error.

362 is not maintained for BASB,but its maintained for condition type JMO1(IN:A/P BED Deductable) & JMO2(IN: A/P BED non deduct )in <b>AltCTy</b> field.
And For BASB 605 is maintained in the field AltCBV.
Can you Pls explain the significance of this alternative calculation type.

Analysis Services failing to Start . File system error: Error occurred during the creation of directory

Posting this problem here and hoping for a solution from the experts in this forum.
When i have restarted the Analysis Services , i see that it has been stopped but never started back. It fails with an error
"The SQL Server Analysis Services (MSSQLSERVER) service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs."
When Checked the Event Viewer i see the following error -
The service cannot be started: The following system error occurred: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. File system error: Error occurred during the creation of directory: '\\?\E:\OLAP\MSSOLAPFactory\OlapData;M:\Test
Backup'.
I remember changing the BackupDir value of Analysis Services few days back, and i think it could have impacted. Can you please help me how can i change back the BackupDir value and have the server back?

Is this still an issue? If so, I would find msmdsrv.ini and make sure you don't have two folders listed in the BackupDir (or DataDir or TempDir). You'll have to runas Administrator to edit the msmdsrv.ini file and save changes. Once you fix that, it should
succeed.

There seems to be some problem with your xml file. Please work with support channel to investigate this issue.

1). Looks like SM59 Remote user has some issues. Can you check whether the user's are locked ?
2). You can also correct this is TA STMS. Here you navigate to "System Overview (Shift+F6)".
On the following screen, you select "Generate RFC DESTINATIONS" which can be found under "Extras".
3). Please click on source system and restore the BW source system
Please check the below 2 SAP Notes.

BAM Activity and view issue on BizTalk server 2013 R2 machine.

I am trying to make BAM portal work since couple of days but no luck yet...
I ma using BizTalk server 2013 R2.
I am trying to deploy the activity and view from my Development server to Test server ( it's working fine on Developemnt).
I have gone through one post and found this and followed steps here is the output for that :
First confirm that you can see the name of the activity in the list of deployed activity by executing this command:
bm.exe get-activities
--> I can see the activity name in there so I belive that activity is got created.
While creating the BAM activity you must have created/deployed a view get the name of the view by using this command:
bm.exe get-views -Activity:<activity name>
--> I can see the view name in there so I belive that view is exist.
You need to provide permission to the account you are using to access the BAM portal on this view by using this command.
bm.exe add-account -AccountName:”<AccountName>” -View:<viewname>
--> while executing this command is got error as :
Using 'BAMPrimaryImport' BAM Primary Import database on server 'TESTSERVER'...
ERROR: Security management of the BAM view failed.
The SQL role for the specified view is missing.
Note : My BAMAlert service is running and running using
GROUP\~biztalkservice account I am logged on Test Server using "NitinUser" account with administrator rights.
What does this mean - if this mean that I needs to give rights to my user (NitinUser) on SQL Database please tell me how to do that ? with command....

His solution for this problem is to remove the view and re-add it, which worked for him. Obviously I didn't encounter this error, so have to suggest the solution from community.

also have noticed one thing that by executing following command in sql management studio.
use
BamPrimaryImport
SELECT
SUSER_SNAME(owner_sid),nameFROMsys.DATABASES
on my development box it's showing my user GROUP\nitinUser and Name = CustomBizTalkDB
but when I execute this on TEST server, entry for GROUP\nitinUser is not in database

Users require for SAP to throw an error during PO creation if a material is not extended to the storage location that is entered on the PO.
Presently it neither gives warning or error message.

SAP does not validate that, if you want it, then you have to do such check in a user exit.
SAP can be customized to create the material master storage location segment itself when posting the goods receipt, so it is not necessary to check this in the PO.
Further this design speeds up the process, you can already order before others have finished the material master maintenance.

“delete” is not posted in my menu contextual.

when I run the following little script in my Oracle 8.1.7 SQL plus spreadsheet I get the following error message:
"Warning: Compiler errors during type creation". (This is my offhand translation from German, since I have a German version)
There is no further hint as to what the nature of the error is or how I can fix it, but for sure I can't use the type I tried to define.
Can anybody help?
