  • Installation Error 1935

I have Windows Vista Home Edition and am trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements.  The installation is all but complete when I get a message as follows:
Error 1935.  An error occurred during the installation of assembly component.  {97F81AF1-0E47-DC99-A01F-CBB3B9A1Ea1E1BE}.  HRESULT:  0x80070020.
I have installed Adobe Reader and Adobe Photoshop Elements with no problems at all.
I would appreciate any advice to solve this problem.
    Thanks

I googled the last part of your Error Message:
    HRESULT:  0x80070020...
Quite a few links were found related to this.
    Here's one of them:

Indicators point to a corrupt or damaged Registry entry (most likely from a partially uninstalled application).
Either way, if you have a valid copy of PE, you can always contact Support and I'm sure they will work with you to resolve.
I use google anytime I encounter a strange error, someone usually has always seen it first...

  • BAM installation Error

    Hi
While i am trying to install BAM Release version 3(10.1.3.1.0) after uninstalling the OracleBAM. I am getting the following error message.
"oracle database client installation did not complete successfully
please resolve errors in the installaction log file in c:\OracleBAM\ClientForBAM\cfgtoollogs\oui then restart this installer "
But i have deleted the folder "OracleBAM " from above path after the uninstallation.
I have tried installing the BAM after restarting the mechine. But it does not works.
Please any one help me to solve the error.
    Thanks in Advance

    Problem solved:
If there is a space in the filename for the installation software (setup.exe) then the re-installation will fail - even when the original installation went ok.
Move the extracted BAM DVD to another location (e.g. c:\temp ) and start again.
    Then it will work.

  • BAM Installation Error - ValidateDB.exe

    Hello,
While installing BAM in Windows Server 2003, the first part of the install goes fine. Upon entering database connection and user information, we get the following error (the title for the message box is "ValidateDB.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services"):
"Application has generated an exception that cannot be handled.
Process id=[this changes each time], Thread id=[this changes each time]
Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application."
Upon click OK, another message box appears:
"Install cannot connect to the database located at parameter #1, [myhost:myport]. Please, ensure that the hostname, port and service name are correct and that the database and its listener at this location are up an running".
I can TNSPING the DB and connect to the DB. Why are we getting an unhandled exception like this (the same error occurs regardless of what is put into the DB fields)?

    Hi All,
I had the exact same problem for connecting to the database. I de-installed all BAM components (had to clean registry entries) and I tried to do a fresh install. The Client for BAM was installed but when I tried to install BAM components, it just hangs after Database User Creation Screen. I also do not have a fresh machine to work on. Please help!
    Thanks,

Sounds more like you may need the redistributable libraries rather than the Visual C++ development environment.

  • Error 1935 - Adobe Reader (11) - An error occurred during the installation of assembly component - Windows 7

    NOT RESOLVED
It seems to be a problem with my windows installation. I will re-install at a later date since installing PDF viewing programs the only issue.
    Problem:
While installing Adobe Reader XI using the install_reader11_en_mssd_aaa_aih.exe from Adobe Reader Install for all versions and AdbeRdr11000_en_US.msi from a forum post on here. Error 1935 occurs using both installers and causes the setup to fail and initiate rollback.
    Additional information:
In Programs & Features list there is no adobe reader as you can see:
This is pretty much a clean install of windows on which I have installed: Adobe Flash Player (16), Steam + some games, Chrome, Skype and some Visual C++ Redistributables, .NET Framwork, Drivers for GPU, CPU, Motherboard and USB devices.
    Error:

    CPU: Intel Core - i7 4770K @4.00 GHz
    RAM: 16GB Kingston Hyper X (8x2)
    Steps taken:
    1. I have cleared the transaction log using command prompt with the following command:
        fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\
Restarting the computer and trying to install Adobe Reader 11 results in the same error.
    2. Restarting the computer, disabling Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and installing Adobe Reader 11 results in the same error.
    3. Chrome has "allow all sites to run JavaScript" checked.
    Thanks
    Edit:
I have attempted to install an earlier version (10.1.4) of Adobe Reader - Same error occurs.
    Edit 2:
I'm going to look for some alternatives for the mean time
    Edit 2.1:
These alternative programs are failing to install as well. Multiple errors, I now assume the issue is with my windows installation.

I have tried many things to try to install it and I have been unsucessful. Please help I have windows 8 64bit.

This did not resolve my issue, it actually made things worse. I did what
you had told me to do below, and it did not work. Tried to access the
internet to respond back to you and my computer was not able to reach the
internet. Tried reaching adobe support and not was able to, even tried
calling was on the phone for 20 minutes and no one answered. I was not able
to re install windows. Contacted Asus from another computer and they were
not able to help me reinstall windows They had asked me to ship my computer
back to them, due to them not being able to resolve the issue and help me
reinstall windows. I luckily had a backup on my external hard drive and was
able to reinstall windows 8. Spent over an hour and half trying to fix
that. Here I am still not able to install adobe reader. I was very unhappy
with what I was told to do and it gave me this issue.
    ·  Open an Administrator command prompt: Right-click Start > All Programs >
Accessories > Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator. Click Allow
    for the elevation prompt
    ·  In the command prompt, type the command below:
    fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\
The line above assumes that C: is the drive in which Vista is installed. If
it is installed on another drive like D:, change the drive letter
    appropriately.
    ·  Restart the system.
    ·  Install Acrobat or Adobe Reader again.

I have also seen this error a number of times here in the forum, but I do not know what causes it.  It seems to be some kind of conflict with the .NET Framework.  Could it be that some update to the .NET Framework is running at the same time?  (.NET Framework updates perform assemblies that can run for several hours.)
What I would try if I were to encounter this error:
    restart Windows
check with the Task Manager's Processes tab that no batch assemblies are running
    try the MSI installer http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/11.x/11.0.00/en_US/AdbeRdr11000_en_US.msi
then run the 11.0.3 update http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/11.x/11.0.03/misc/AdbeRdrUpd11003.msp

    Hello,
    Good Day!
I'm having a nasty problem that remains unresolved for the last four weeks now - I'm trying to install CR2008 on a brand new Dell laptop /w 64-bit OS  Windows 7 with a T4300 dual core processor (2.1Gz).  As far as I can see SP1 or SP2 are not installed. However, I see MS WSE 2.0 SP3 Runtime installed.
During installation of CR 2008  the error message as follows shows up -
    Error 1935: An error occured during the installation of assembly component {303994BA-6487-47AE-AF1D-7AF6088EEBDB}
    HRESULT: 0X80070002
As a result of this error the installation terminates and the rollback begins (I assume it completely removes the components that it attempted to install so far.
The laptop has the following significant software applications -
Microsoft SQL server 2005, SQL server Native Client, MS VisualBasic 2005 & 2008, C++, MS Visual Studio 2005 Remote Debugger &  Windows SDK for Visual Studio 2008  - just in case there are any known conflicts or problems.
Are there any 'leads' I can follow to successfully conclude this installation.
    Thanks for your time.

I have the Same_D_n_Problem.... However, I WAS able to download and install the VC++ 2005 Redist x_64 after removing the one that was there.... Didn't help :(

  • Installation Issue with Dreamweaver. (Error 1935, Exit code 7)

    Hey there,
So I've been googling my little heart away for 8 hours now and I haven't found any results.
I'm installing on a x64 Win 7 system. From my googling I found out that the relevant part of the installation log is:
    Feature: Microsoft_VC80_ATL_x86_
Action 19:23:42: PublishProduct. Publishing product information
    [     808] Tue May 15 19:23:43 2012  INFO
Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {97F81AF1-0E47-DC99-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18E}. HRESULT: 0x800736CC.
Action ended 19:23:43: InstallFinalize. Return value 3.
Here is the in-installer error logs
