BAM with B2B

Hi,
We have a requirement where in we have 4 reports based on a data object. This data object gets data from the B2B repository through EMS.
The data is displayed in the first report initially as B2B transactions.
After about 2 hours, the transactions should also show up in the second report
After about 4 hours, the transactions should also show up in the third report.
After about 48 hours, the transactions should also show up in the fourth report.
What is the best way of achieving this, we tried so many things but it doesn't work.
Thanks.

Hi Srinivas,
As per Ramesh, current release (11gR1 PS1 - 11.1.1.2.0) of Oracle Fusion Middleware does not support B2B-BAM integration. You have to wait for the next release (PS2), for this feature to be available.

  • Integrate Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) with Oracle Forms Recognition

    Hi All,
As per project requirement, I have to integrate Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) with Oracle Forms Recognition.
Does anyone have an idea how can this be achievable from OFR Verifier?
    Thanks,
    Moumi.

    Hi All,
Apart from my previous queries, I found that there is an sample reporting program - Oracle Application Express application has been developed and tested using version 4.1 of AppExpress.
To access OFR tables I run the below script in below sequence in my local IPM environment as found in this link- http://workplacedba.blogspot.in/2012/11/ofr-odc-installation.html
    Seq 1 - 01-OFR-AP-Tables_Oracle.sql

    Seq 7 - 07-INVOICE_NUMBER_FORMATS_INS.sql
    Seq 8 - 08-Insert Into Company.sql
I couldn't found the below queries in my installables -
    Seq 3 - 03-XX_ROUND_IT.fnc
    Seq 4 - 04-XX_ROUNDDOWN.fnc
    Seq 5 - 05-XX_ROUNDUP.fnc
    Seq 7 - 07-INVOICE_NUMBER_FORMATS_INS.sql

  • Can I BAM with NW BPM?

    Hi community.
I was trying to answer the question: how does the NW BPM platform feature BAM (business active monitoring) and could not find any direct answer. I have read on PI capabilities of creating monitoring process that are fed by event messages and that can create alerts. I have read that the user can see alerts in portal, as well as some dashboards created based on these alerts. Finally I found out the business suite has some out-of-the-box alerts that can be activated so they can interact with PI and them generate alerts, and that BI solution can also generate events.
Am I right or I missed something?
That sounds like an infrastructure for BAM, but I would like to know how to create events, alerts and measures in the process I design in NWDS Process Designer with BPMN, so I can consume them while this process is running in the Process Server. Is there a way to have BAM with no PI?
    Thanks in advance.

Its simple. BPM is called via a WS. So its not an issue to call a WS and start the BPM process from ECC.
In the BPM process design, add a Human Activity which has the UI for the Approval Task. In the properties of this Human Activity, click on the 'Task' property, create a 'New' task from the dropdown and name the task. Click on Finish:
Once the task is created, save the project. Then, you will see a link 'Task' in the Task-property.Click on it :
Once the properties of the Task are open, check the following checkbox:
Checking this task will ensure that the potential owner(s) of the task will receive an email notification that a task has been created in their universal worklists. This email contains 2 links; one which redirects the owner to the universal worklist, and one which redirects them directly to the created task.
In the completion event of the Task-UI, you can call a WS to return to ECC. Or may be, after completion of the task, you can create an Automated Activity in the BPM Process Design which can call an RFC or a WS. So, your BPM design should probably look something like this:
Hope this helps in some way.
    All the best.

  • XCM Settings for IPC 6.0 to work with B2B ERP 6.0 E-commerce application

    Hi All,
We are currently implementing B2B ERP (ECC 6.0) E-commerce using IPC 6.0 for the sales pricing and configuration needs.
To make IPC work with B2B E-commerce application I need to do the necessary XCM settings for IPC. I launched the following URL to do the XCM settings for IPC.  http://<hostname>:<portnumber>/ipc/admin/xcm/init.do    I created a JCO connection with ECC system using the menupath Components->Customer->JCO and adding values to required fields such as Base Configuration (value: server_connect) , Server, Client, Message Server, Userid and Password.  I saved the configuration to create the necessary JCO connection with the ECC system. I executed the "Run Test" option and found the test to be successful.
To complete the Application Specific settings in XCM, I followed the menupath  'Application Configurations->SAP->erp' to create a new customer configuration. In the field JCODATA of the new configuration I added the JCO component name that was created in the previous step. I made this as the default configuration and saved it. The new configuration shows up under the sub-node Application Configurations->Customer-> 'New Configuration Name'.
Please let me know do I need to do any other XCM settings for IPC? Is there anything missing or need to be rectified? How I can test and make sure that IPC is connected to ECC and ERP E-commerce application and the connection is working fine. Please answer in detail.
    Thanks in advance.
    --R D

    Hi,
    Go to B2B XCM application : http://host:port/zb2b/admin/index.jsp
select "Extended Configuration Management (XCM) Administration"
then select your application configuration from the "Customer" node.
    Click on the "Display" button.
then maintain "ipcdata" parameter as what you have maintained in the IPC application.
    Thanks,
    Dinesh.

    Hi there
I have a Technote that shows how the information can be published from EBS to BAM. In addition you could create an end to end visibility across the products e.g. B2B - BPEL - EBS - Financials etc by raising the events to BAM .
There is no out of the box dashboards available today. However, i have a number of customers who are doing this use case by themselves or through some SI/Oracle consulting.
can we contact you offline to discuss your requirement?
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/bam/11g/technotes11g/whitepaperBAM_E-BusinessSuiteIntegration.pdf
There are certified adapters available for EBS to FM as well.

  • ISA 5.0 Log-On Problem with B2B

    Dear All,
we use the B2B of ISA 5.0 on the SAP J2EE Engine 7.00 with ERP2005 as backend.
The B2B was configured via XCM. Three components have been configured there as
they are part of our customer application configuration:
jcodata: test to the ERP2005 backend passed
    shopdata: shopcenario is B2B
    usertype: R3SU01User
The base configuration of our customer application configuration is "r3standardpi".
    We've disabled SSL via XCM.
    Transaction spam of ERP2005 shows:
    PI_BASIS     2005_1_700 0009     SAPKB70009     SAP Basiskomponent
We further defined a web-shop with shopadmin, which settings should be okay so far.
When we try to log-in via
http://<J2EE-Engine>:<Port>/b2b/b2b/init.do?shop=<name of shop ID as configured
    with shopadmin>
we are requested for the ERP2005 user + password. Immediately after we entered the
user + password and pressed "Log On" this message is displayed:
      Runtime Errors
      Contact the administrator
The logs do not provide any hints.
One thing called my attention: if we pass an invalid value for the shop parameter of
    http://<J2EE-Engine>:<Port>/b2b/b2b/init.do eg:
http://<J2EE-Engine>:<Port>/b2b/b2b/init.do?shop=dsfhsl we'll get the same message
as with the valid one matching the shop ID configured via shopadmin. If we do not
specify the shop parameter this message will appear:
A serious system error has occurred
The shoplist read from buffer is empty
      Contact the administrator
The user which we use for log-on has the roles SAP_ISA_B2B_FULL and the profiles
    SAP_ALL and SAP_New.
Another thing could be relevant. We once used ISA 4.0 with an R3 backend. Since
the base configuration of the customer application configuration there was also
"r3standardpi" we there had another plugin in R3:
    PI    2004_1_470    0002    SAPKIPZ52    R/3 Plug-In (PI) 2004.1 for R/3 Enterpri
which is missing in the ERP2005 system now. Could this be the reason why we have
    the log-on troubles?
Any kind of help/hints are appreciated.
Many Greetings and Thanks in Advance,
    Martin Muellenberg

  • Issue with B2B Simulator for testing Healthcare Integration in SOA 11.1.1.6

    Hi All,
I've installed the healthcare integration patch on top of SOA 11g PS5, and am now trying out the integration scenarios as detailed here . When running the B2B simulator as detailed in the readme, I'm able to see that the ADT file is polled from /tmp/blite/test/in folder, but the same file is not put into the /tmp/blite/test/out folder as expected. Nor am I able to see the messages in the Healthcare UI dashboards, neither the SCA composite instance is instantiated in the EM console.
The simulator log generated by B2B simulator does not show any apparent error, except for a oracle.jrf.UnknownPlatformException: JRF is unable to determine the current application server platform. But the process seems to have gone ahead and also shows that the message sent count as 1. Has anyone tried this integration scenario in Healthcare? Any pointers would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • How to retrieve a due date from a human task and create a report in BAM with it

    Hi.
I'm working with a BPM process, the requirement is that I have a human task and a working hours limit to complete it. For this purpose I created a calendar in the bpm workspace and I've associated it to a role that executes that human task. Now I need to know how can I pass it into a data_object in BAM in order to create a Dashboard that lets me know whether a human task was completed just in time.
I'm using Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.7.0
    Thank you.

There's a correction to the code. For whatever reason doing it that way still sets it as a "remind me when" parameter. Use the following code instead:
tell application "System Events" to set FrontAppName to name of first process where frontmost is true
    if FrontAppName is "Reminders" then
              tell application "Reminders"
set duedate to (current date) + (2 * days)
      make new reminder with properties {name:"New Reminder", due date:duedate}
              end tell
    else
display dialog "failed to make new reminder!"
    end if

  • Problems with B2B Editor validating HL7 Messages

    Hi all,
I am having some problems related to B2B Document Editor and HL7 messages.
When we ran the Analyzer with the following document:

    we received the following message:
"The data starting at position 510 is not a valid EDI interchange. The remainder of the data file was ignored. "
It identifies the header (MSH Segment) well, but it can not identify the message body.
It is very strange, because we've selected HL7 as the message format on the previous step but aparently this message is a EDI format message. This message occurs on any file we have or with any HL7 message found on the internet (http://www.dt7.com/cdc/sampmsgs.html)
We can open the document with the Data Editor, but if we change any value and save it, it is impossible to open the message with the Analyzer:
"The data in the file could not be parsed. Please check the file to verify that it is valid and formatted correctly. This error can occur for one of the following reasons: A) The data file may be a Word document or have some other binary format. B) The envelope data may not be formatted properly. If this is an X12 data file, please verify that the ISA segment is the correct size (exactly 106 characters). If this is an EDIFACT data file, it must have either a UNA or begin with UNB. For other standards, verify that the envelope segments conform to the specified rules. C) The segment/record delimiters in the file are incorrect."
We are running the B2B Document Editor version 6.0.0.1471 with the 6.0.4.84 version of HL7 Database version.
Can you give us any advice ?
    Cheers,
    Rodrigo Nascimento

    Hello,
As per Jeff's post even we have observed OD OA at the end of the line. Please use a hex editor or B2B document editor to correct the same. We have done the above steps and are not getting the mentioned errors. HTH.
    Please let us know.

    Hi,
We've configured SOA Cluster 11.1.1.3 with RAC database 11.1.7. For thiis we've create RAC multi datasources and the JDBC details of these datasources are as under:

  • Cannot install Oracle BAM with Oracle XE 10.2.0.1

    Hi,
I'm trying to install Oracle BAM 10.1.3.3.0 on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. I've previously installed Oracle DB XE edition (10.2.0.1.0) on another machine and checked all the software requirements.
I have no problem with the first installation step regarding Oracle Client for BAM. When relaunching setup.exe for installing the other components, I have the following error : "Database version at parameter#1, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1521 should be 9.2.0.7 or higher, 10.1.0.5 or higher, 10.2.0.2 or higher."
However, according to the installation's guide:
"Oracle Database 10g Express Edition (Oracle Database XE) version 10.2.0.1.0 may
be used for non-production purposes. See the Oracle Database 10g Express Edition
Web site for more information "
So here is my question: Is Oracle BAM  10.1.3.3.0 really compatible with Oracle XE?
If so, any suggestions to resolve this issue will be most appreciated!
    Thanks.

No Oracle XE is not compatible due to its version. Oracle BAM need 10.2.0.2 or higher as it comes in the POP Up while installation.
I also faced the same issue. Unfortuntely I could not find any version upgrade also for Oracle XE.
    I hope this help!
