Bank account number & Bank number structure for Chile

Hi,
Does anybody know how the Bank number & Bank account number structure is?
I do need to create a module for banks field (because it is not delivered in standard SAP). Does anybody do it before?

Please check the following details for the Country Chile, which is as per the TCode 'OY17' :
Bank number length   15
Tax Number 1             11
Length of Bank Key   15
Besides, you also should check the box 'Other Data' which will take care of the internal check.
On the other hand, Conversion of bank details to IBAN is carried out by function module CONVERT_BANK_ACCOUNT_2_IBAN_<2 characters country code>. For example, for CHILE, the function module will be CONVERT_BANK_ACCOUNT_2_IBAN_CH.
For this, two function modules and two Business Transaction Events (BTEs) are to be created for each country:
1. Copy the SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00003030 function module from SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00003030 to
     CONVERT_BANK_ACCOUNT_2_IBAN_??, in which you must replace the '??' with your country's name.
2. Copy the SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00003040 function module from SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00003040 to
     CONVERT_IBAN_2_BANK_ACCOUNT_??, in which you must replace the '??' exactly as above.

Bank Account and Bank subaccount are linked not in any table but just for the number of the account. As mentioned before tipically you will use (in. ex) this account number for bank account (depending on local chart of accounts) 120000 and you will use the same account number ending with 1 or 2 or... for the subaccounts:
120001 - cash income
120002 - cash outcome
it is just an example ¿ok?
In some extend you can set in accounts master data (FS00) the Bank ID and Account ID and you may set the same IDs for Bank Account and Subaccount. This could be useful sometimes for reporting etc.
In bank determination: FBZP-Maintain Paiment programBank DeterminationBanks Accounts you will set the bank subaccount depending if payment method is for incoming (direct debit...) or outcoming (transfers to vendors...)
if you use electronic bank statement you will configure the bank account and subaccounts in:

I think we cannot go for cash Journal, because for the below entry i should make the cash account
settings as post automatically only in FS00 transaction.

If that is the case then we cannot post manually to the cash account.

online banking frozen. bank says compromised and need new email/password and need to run antivirus scan before they will reopen it. Have older imac running snow leopard. did recent sept software security update. Do I need to get antivirus software and run it or am I ok just changing the email and password?

This is not likely to be related to malware on a Mac. Unfortunately, many bank policies don't take the type of computer you're using into consideration. They probably will not re-enable your remote access just because you're using a Mac, so you can either lie to them about having installed anti-virus software or you can install one of the free options from the App Store. VirusBarrier Express and Dr. Web Light are both good options. They cannot destabilize your Mac as a whole, because they can't install any code that runs when they're not running, and won't slow you down except when they're open and running a scan. Once you have run a scan to satisfy the bank, you could just leave the app sitting inert in the Applications folder and honestly say that you have anti-virus software "installed."
Note that, if you actually find any malware, it's almost certainly going to be Windows malware that has gotten onto your hard drive somehow, perhaps by being attached to e-mail. Post the names of anything found here and we can tell you whether you need to worry about it or not.
As for general methods for preventing this in the future, Linc has some very good suggestions. I'd also add that you need to do the same with the e-mail address associated with your bank account. You don't want someone hacking your e-mail and intercepting bank notices. Also, watch out for phishing attempts... if you get an e-mail from your bank asking you to log in to your account for any reason, don't click any of the links in that e-mail! Instead, log on to your bank site as you normally would do, using a bookmark in your web browser or the like.

HOUSE BANK - Account ID, Bank Key, Swift Code

I hv doubt in customisation of a house bank. While configuring a house bank, we need:-
1) Account ID
2) Bank Key
3) Swift Code
could anybody please explain what is the role of these 3 items when we run Automatic Payment Programme & manual bank reconcialtion of any house bank.

I try to explai as my best:
1) Account ID:
This is uinique ID for bank a/c no. To identify ur bank under same house bank. here u will be giving the gl a/c for each bank. for ex:
In SBI u have one current a/c and one loan a/c. u will create one SBI house bank and two a/c id's which is for current a/c and loan a/c.
2) Bank Key:
This is an identification for ur house bank. i.e. each branch will have a unique bank key. thats how u will identify the house banks.
3) Swift Code:
The S.W.I.F.T. code is used for identifying banks in international payment transactions. for ur payments in other currency or foreign currency ur bank needs to have a SWIFT code.

If you are getting XXXX in place of Bank number then the issue is at (Setup > Payment >Payment Adminstrator).
Log into Payments Setup > Shared Setup > System Security Options. Now you will find "External Bank Account Masking Setting" & Number of Digits to Disp . Now provide the numer of digits to display.

The basic funda in Bank accounting configuration is
0 G/L Account Number - Main Bank Account Number
1 G/L Account Number - Check Payment
2 G/L Account Number - Check Receipt
3 G/L Account Number - Wire Transfer Out
4 G/L Account Number - Wire Transfer In
5 G/L Account Number - Bank Charges
All these configurations are dependent on client's requirement . How many G/L accounts they want to have in operation.
House Bank will be one. but the Bank Key, SWIFT Code are different for each branch ( under this you may have number of bank accounts)
don't worry about creation of Bank accounts(the maximum number). we have to look in to the perspective of How each branch is operating bank accounts, what are the operations they do in each bank account, how they will do reconciliation, etc..

The requirement is that customer account number should be identified from customer bank key and bank account number which are available in the bank statement .I need to configure search string and assign it to interpretation algorithm.How i need to define and assign search string for bank key,bank account number .Example :AC-250-208762-20
The problem is that the length of bank key and bank account number for each customer is different
Example 1:Customer 100000
AC-25-45275865-333
Example 2 :customer 100001
AC-215-115275865-11
I need to post entries to customer account and no clearing is required . How search string can be defined for this ?
Note:Search string should be defined for customer bank account no because statement has no reference number

'customer master data, what are the integrated effects to FI > Bank Accounting > House Bank ?' House bank not linked with Customer master data(only if customer affiliated company).
Bank details in customer could be used eg for invoicing(printing form)
