Bank Loan Management Add on

Hi,
I am looking for a Bank Loan management add -on for SAP Business One. The requirements are as below
-able to keep track of all the borrower information
-Reducing balance calculation for the interest
-Release the loan to the house contractor in milestone/percentage once the loan has been approved.
Basically is a setup for a loan company.

Loans Management - Withholding Tax on Interest - Product type 33A

Dear Experts,
I´m trying to config the withholding tax on interest per product type 33A General Loan Given. Do you know which is the correct flow type to use and how to config and link it in order to set the base amount related to the interest calculated amount?
In my design is always a quarterly calculation for Intercompany loans and, in special case, I need to apply the WHT to the calculated amount of the interest.
Example:
Interest invoice : Flow Type 0110 A_Interest debit pos. rec.
01     Customer Affiliate         1000
50     P&L Interest                 1000
Interest invoice with 10% WHT
01     Customer Affiliate           900
40     WHT 10%                       10
50     P&L Interest                 1000

are you sure it will work also for SAP Banking Loans Management? I read the attached documentation of WHT for India and every call-out is related to TRM.
May you please confirm me which flow type of loans management is covering this sub-process?

Interest calculation on bank loan

Hi guru,
we have taken long term loan from 10 banks.we have to calculate interest on loan from each bank.we have maintained each bank loan a/c as a vendor.As we know the procedure as given by sap for balance interest calculation will be followed here.is it correct or not.one more doubt is whether treating each loan a/c as a vendor is correct or not.

Here you need Balance interest calculation.
Balance interest calculation used for bank loans. It calculate GL balance only
it will take particular period and need to configure document type SA.
Item interest calculation used for item wise calculations like vendor wise and customer wise. It depends on payment terms and in this GL accounts Select open item management.

How to delivery cash flows from loans management (BaS 8.0)

Hi All,
According to the official materials, BaS 8.0 enables delivery cash flows out of Loans Management to Bank Analyzer. Does anyone know how to do that? I see configurations in BA regarding how to generate cash flows on cash flows delivered by LM, however I've no idea how to delievey them from LM.
Can anyone help here?

Data from TRBK is replicated to BA system using the SOA services. Check the relevant services at :

SLcM integration with Loans Management

I am aware that The Financial Accounting - Loans Integration ES bundle provides enterprise services that integrate the operational and analytical bank applications in the area of loan contract management. As SLcM uses Financial Accounting, does it provide functionality to be integrated with Loans Management?

SLCM works fine with Grants Management, Funds Management, FICA, FICO and Biller Direct. I am not sure if it has integrations with Loan management as taking loan is students responsibility and institution seems to be no where concerns except issuing admission letter or stating that student in discussion is eligible for loan.

Corporate loans management

HI Experts
My client is looking to implement loans management ,
Typically they take loans( syndicate loans) from various banks/lending agencies. They want a system in place wherein they can track all information relating to these loans, Calculation of Interest and posting of it automatically, cash flow reports, information relating to Drawdown etc..
SAP offered this as part of CFM in 4.7, however client is now on ECC 6.0 and they want this module to be implemented specifically.
It would of immense help if you can provide suggestions (or an overview would be great) as to how to handle this requirement in ECC

Hi Chris,
If SAP is not supplying you with a DataSource from the standard business content, then you will have to write your extracts for BW.
Here are some options:
1) Create some generic DataSource using tcode RSO2
2) Write ABAP extracts to pull the data into a file or XML file, then load the data into BW
3) Create a remote cube in BW to view the data in your BW system.
I prefer option 1 since you get the data into BW using the BW API in R/3 and you can use any of the BW tools to manage and load data within BW. Options 2 and 3 work, but they could have more overhead on R/3 than you want.

In RSA1, in BI contents, search for the InfoARea 'Bank Analyzer - 0BA_BA'. Under this InfoArea, you will find the objects used for loan management. I am not sure about Term Deposit.

But when I tried to create it I found that there is no such product type 33B for the General Loan Taken.
So can someone kindly advice where (t-code) and how to do that to be able to create a General Loan Taken?
Also can someone please provide me with the main t-codes in sequence to create:
1. The taken loan from bank.
2. Start date and interest will be calculated.
3. Trace loan history (report) which installments have been settled and which are not yet with their due dates.
Also, is there a difference to operate the Loan Management from SAP Banking or the Treasury and Risk Management or no?
N.B.: please pardon me where I am new in such area and it is first time to recruit the Loan Management.

33b should be available in Customizing client. Maybe you need to get data from there to the productive client. 33B loans can then be created with FN1V.

Loan Management Configuration

Hi All,
In our new implementation project the scope of the project includes the Loan management. It is not banking industry company. Still there is a requirement of Loan management configuration. I have seen the loan management under SAP Banking menu. Is it possible to configure loan management alone with out having any other areas in Banking? If so where can i get the concerned configuration and BPP documents? I have made a search in Building block docouments but could not find.

Hi Shankar,
Yes, we can implement Loans Management which is under SAP Banking without implementing other sub-modules. There is no such documentation available under Building blocks, probably you can search under IS Banking, I am not sure on this. The course on Loans Management is "FS210 - Loan Managementfor finanancial services". Try your luck if you can find any link to get this material.
There is another way to handle loans in SAP, i.e. under FSCM - Treasury & Risk Management. Here we can map loans to some money market instruments (interest rate instrument, etc.).
The decision to implement the module depends on the criticality of scenario (loan types, terms, etc.) and also the number of transactions, etc. Both these are separate modules and will have lot of configuration and procedures to process in SAP. If you have loans taken as well as loans given I suggest Loans Management. Else, if you have implemented Treasury & Risk Management it is better to go with the same.

Hi,
Loans management is part of SAP Banking from 4.7 version onwards. We need to activate EA-FS for this purpose.
Loans also can be maintained in TRM under product Interest Rate instrument. But it may not offer all the critical functionalities of loans management module.

Loan Management & Collateral Licensing

I am new to treasury and loan management. My client is engaged in differenct business and takes loans (secured and unsecured) for its businesses.
Can anyone let me know if -
1. If FSCM (cash/treasury) a part of ECC6 or separate licensing is required for that?
2. If loan managment a part of the ECC6 or separate license required for that?
3. Can collateral be managed under loan management?
4. Is collateral managemnt part IS banking or ECC? is separate licensing required for that.

For any licensing questions, it's best to just talk to your SAP rep to find out what you are currently licensed for - and if you aren't licensed for something, the options for licensing that additional functionality.

Why doesn't version 17.0.0.169 show up in IE11 8.1 64-bit Manage Add-Ons?

KB3044132 shows as installed for Flash Player update, and the Control Panel Flash Player icon for 32-bit shows 17.0.0.169 installed (I have 64-bit and 32-bit), but the Manage Add-Ons for Shockwave is Enabled and showing version 17.0.0.134! When I check the version using Adobe it only shows 17.0.0 and not the important part, so I cannot tell if Adobe detects 17.0.0.169 or 17.0.0.134! I think I need to know if IE11 64-bit has 17.0.0.169 also. Please advise because Microsoft technical support says to contact Adobe about this. Please delete my entry in Adobe general forums, Bridge general discussion as michaelh94875078. I did not see Flash Player on the list of communities provided during my first post.

It occurs to me that maybe Microsoft will not allow their 17.0.0.169 KBitem to go out until their next update on the second Tuesday of May for their convenience and reputation! I want any update for Flash Player to be installed immediately for security. That is why I tend to use Firefox with NoScript and Web of Trust when I use a Google search. I will be watching the next Microsoft update to note if the KBitem it said was not appropriate for my computer - goes in!

I'm sorry, I misread your previous post and thought it had been installed. From my experience with Microsoft Updates is that some times they depend on some update being installed. I'll run Windows Updates and install all updates, then run Windows Updates again after all updates finish installing. Sometimes it finds new updates that weren't there before, and sometimes it doesn't. You can try that route, or download the Microsoft update posted at the bottom of the Flash Player Issues | Windows 8 page. Download the one that corresponds with your OS version. You may want to bookmark this tech note for future reference in case Microsoft Updates fails to detect the update is available for your system.

Payment Rule maintenance per currency in Bank Communication Management

Hi,
We have maintained Rules for Payment Grouping in Bank Communication Management based on amount limits. The basic currency we expected is GBP so we have the same set of amount limits for all Company Codes until now.
We've now introduced a new Company Code which makes payments in USD. We'd like the same amount limits to be used for payments from this Company Code too.
Eg: We have a rule for amount range from 100K to 150K. If the payment is in GBP the rule gets picked up if the payment amount is between 100K GBP and 150K GBP.
Now if a USD payment is made of 130K USD, the above rule gets picked up. We would like to see that the GBP equivalent of 130K USD... i.e. 205K USD is considered as the amount and a suitable rule is picked up.
How do we achieve this in the rule definitions? I see that the Currency field limits the rule to be considered only for payments made in one currency. Is there a way of associating the amount limits to a base currency so that other currency payments will get converted against this currency and be evaluated?
Would appreciate any help in this regard as we're at a loss currently.

In manage add-ons, Adobe Flash Player is listed under Not Available, but is listed as enabled.

When trying to view something that needs flash player, it tells me that I need to have flash player to do this. So I go to install it, and it tells me it is already installed with my Windows 8. So, then it tells me to either Enable flash player or to disable Active x filtering. Active x filtering is not enabled, so I go to Manage add ons, and it shows that Shockwave Flash Object is listed under the heading NOT AVAILABLE, but is listed as being enabled. I have tried to reinstall flash player, but it won't let me because it is already installed. Not sure why it is showing up under Not Available, and not under the Adobe heading with my Adobe PDF reader. Can anyone tell me how to get flash player back from this point???
