Bank mail account in Manual BRS

hi experts,
I am configuring Manual Bank Reconciliation Statement in my client site.
1.My question is The BANK MAIN ACCOUNT will be a CLEARING ACCOUNT or not?
2.if it is configured as a clearing account and data is already posted in that GL ,will be there in problem in doing Manual Bank Reconciliation Statement ?
please help me out?

What do you mean by clearing account ? Is it with "Open Item management "?
Main bank account will not have open item management, but other accounts like cheque issued and cheque recd will have "Open Item management "

Can we increase length of Bank Referance Field in manual BRS?

The client receives bank statement where in the reference is more than 18 in length. So while doing the manual BRS, the bank reference field is taking only 13 in length.
Is there any workaround.

Go to OT43 - Maintain scrren variant for Manual BRS, Double click on your variant and change the settings in Length of the field from 13 to 18 and for next Colums also you have to change the offset (eg..> you increased the Bank reference from 13 to 18 you have to increase the next column offset (if you think it is earlier 65) 65 to 70 and add the next field lengh, if it is 5 then next column will be 7051 means 76) and save. Keep in mind total allowable fields length will be 80 only.

When opening my Outlook 2010 with new added e-mail account with Exchange Server supplied by my employer, I have to click manually on my standard e-mail account for checking mail. Do I have to upgrade my Microsoft Office 2010 or how can I make my Outlook
2010 check all my four e-mail accounts without manually click on my accounts?

Good Day...
Seems to be the Issue is Syncing emails, now I would recommend you to Remove and Add the Account and try and check if the emails are getting synced automatically.
Hope this is with Single User. If it is with Multiple Users then we need to check the permissions assigned.

Bug in OS 3.0: mail accounts set to "Manual" are pushed at bootup

I keep my iPhone's mail accounts on "Manual" access only, so that I'm not overwhelmed with email during the day. I also use MobileMe, and I have my contacts and calendars set to "Push." This combination is possible in:
Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Fetch New Data -> Advanced
In OS 2.2.1 and below, this combination worked as expected: contacts and calendar items are pushed via MobileMe, and mail is retrieved only when entering the Mail app. It also works as expected in OS 3.0, except ...
... when the phone is rebooted. At reboot, all mail accounts are pushed, as if the OS is overlooking my "Manual" setting. I've reported the problem to Apple via the iPhone feedback form, but I thought it prudent to mention it here as well, since it's repeatable and others may notice the problem as well and search for it.

Just wanted to keep this alive. Whenever we restart either my 3GS phone or my wife's 3G they make an immediate mail check and download any emails. Both phones are set to manual for mail checks and we use Me.com for all of our email. With the 3G phone, it was originally mine and before the 3.0 software upgrade it never did this. So I'm going to chalk it up to the 3.0 and believe that some future update will address this.

How to clear Documents using XBLNR(Reference field) through Manual BRS-FF67

I want to clear GL line items in clearing account using Manual BRS(FF67) with reference to "XBLNR" field(Reference). IS there any standard Algorithm which SAP provided for reference field or if we want to develop ne algorithm then how to create.

Hello Raj,
It is not possible to clear an open item on a g/l account via the
reference document number. The automatic clearing with interpretation
algorithm 021/001 only takes place, if the item, which should be cleared
is on a customer/vendor account. So it could never find open G/L items.
The reason is that the reference number is usually not unique
so it could lead to wrong clearings.
A workaround therefore would be to use:
a) another interpretation algorithm depending on the note to payee
   data are available.
b) the user exit 1 (described in note 494777, point 1) if there are
   no other information available as the reference number.
c) the report SAPF124/E to clear these items afterwards. Then the bank
   statement should only post FB01 without clearing. The requirements
   are criteria to assign and clear the suitable items.

Brand new iphone owner. Day two. The initial sync was fie, on the next sync I got the the following error message."iTunes could not sync mail accounts to the iphone (my name) iPhone because the mail accounts are in use by the iPhone. Close the mail accounts settings on the iPhone then sync again."

The following are the steps for BRS:
Create Bank Master Data - This can be created through T.Code FI01 or you can also create the house bank through IMG/FA/Bank accounting/Bank account
2. Define House Bank
3. Set up Bank selection payment programe- IMG/FA/ARAP/BT/AUTOIP/PM/Bank selection for payment prg.
   a. setup all co codes for payment transaction - Customer and vendors
   b.setup paying co codes for payment transactions
   c.setup payment method per country
   d.setup payment method per co code for payment transaction
   e.setup bank determination for payment transaction
Please go for Cheque mangement using T code FCHI     (IMG/FA/ARAP/BT/OP/AutoOp/PaymentMedia/CheckManagement) and for void reasons FCHV. You can create Bank Reconcilliation statement by TC FF67 (SAP/AC/Treasury/CashManagement/Incomings/ManualBankStatement) . Don't forget to keep the opening Balance as zero. Use FBEA for post process.
All the steps together will lead to (FF67) Bank reconciliation statement

Masking GL account in Manual Bank configuration

I have done a new bank accounting configuration Created the new House bank and Bank accounts , with account key, mainly , main bank , clearing accounts and used the masking for Bank accounts .
There are some old bank GL accounts in which last digit is the same as in masking. Before doing Manaul bank statement process all accounts being blocked and old Variant for Manual statement being deactivated.
But when i do the Bank statement positing in SM35. System still picking the olg GL account no. blocked . Please advise how to fix this issue .

Set one mail account set to manual fetch, but now autofetches automatically

I have a iPhone 3GS and upgraded to OS 4 the other day. I have four email accounts on my phone. I have three set to autofetch every 15 minutes and the fourth account (which is email I use for spam and to sign up for stuff) is set to manually retrieve. I just don't want to be notified everytime I get some crap email. Wasn't a problem prior to the OS 4 update. It would check everytime i opened up the email app, but not otherwise.
I have the settings the same as before with other accounts set to fetch every 15 minutes and the account (a Yahoo acct) set to manual fetch only. I also make sure that the email app is closed (i.e. not running in the background as OS 4 allows.) Still, it seems to fetch like all the others and is incredibly annoying.
Any fixes?

Breakspin
Wikipedia
Messages
The mail app also randomly downloads intermittently, without any prompting from myself as a user.
I have checked, rechecked, and triplechecked the settings. Push is off, fetch is set to manual in all applicable locations, and I have rebooted and reset the phone. I've even gone so far as to restore from a backup, to no avail.
My accounts are checking from MobileMe and from a personal (non-Yahoo, non-AT&T) e-mail account.
This is, needless to say, most frustrating.
Apple, any chance of a bit of feedback, here?

Mail Account set to Manual, Checks Automatically

I'm using the iPhone 3g (2.1 FW) with 2 mail accounts. One is a POP account which I have set to manual, the other is a Gmail account that I have set to check every 15 minutes.
The phone seems to be checking both automatically.
I have read in other threads that simply opening the Mail app is considered the trigger to a manual check. I can live with that. (Though it should not be that way.)
But I am occasionally receiving mail in the account that is on manual, even when the Mail app is not running.

While accessing my banks e-account to download my statement, it informs me that Firefox is blocking it.

Always have to manually re-connect Outlook 2007 mail account

I get my office mail from an Outlook server and have set up the mail account as an Office 2007 account. I used to have it set up as an IMAP account, and this problem didn't occur.
So every time I open up my laptop, all the other mail accounts re-connect just fine, only that Outlook account won't - it shows that "lightning bolt" symbol, I have to click it to get the option "connect all mail accounts", then it connects just fine and gets my new mail.
So how can I make it connect automatically? I might have to add that I'm going through a VPN connection.

Generally, whether Public Folder is connected or not, it does not affect
mail delivery.
I'd like to ask the following question to narrow down the issue:
1, Is there the same issue when using OWA?
2, How did you attach a public folder in outlook?
3, When the affected user use outlook 2007 on a computer, which belong to the not affected user, does the issue persist?
4, How about using other outlook version (like outlook 2010 or 2013)?

HT1277 not able to manually load a mail account?

The option to turn off the "auto" option does not appear when I try to load a mail account and the auto load keeps loading a IMAP and I want a POP? (Yahoo or AT&T)?

Kind of resolved it. I just installed Mail 1.3.1-- downgraded from 3.2 and NOW - with all same pref settings and connection smtps, etc-- and NOW I can send and receive .mac emails and other email accounts.
So that is the key-- the glitch is in the new versions of Mac Mail. So that problem is NOT solved. You can go online to "mac freeware" google'd and then search for "Mac Mail 1.3.1" and get it for free to download.
