Applied today after being pre qualified and was denied. They did however approve for me a secured card...no thanks. no offence to divadivine25 but your scores are in line with a secured card. A lot of people really like BOA's secured card. That being said i think BOA offers way to many secured cards to people.

  • Pre-Qual'ed for Amex Gold and Gold Premier, but i want Platinum. Should i apply for Platinum?

What the title says.  The Amex pre qual site says im pre-qual'ed for Amex Gold and Gold Premier.  But i plan on doing quite a bit of traveling soon and based on that i would really prefer Platinum.  Should i try for Platinum anyway?  If i do apply for Platinum and get denied, will they do a second hard pull when i apply for Gold Premier?

  • Unable to login to accounts bank of america. Safari works fine Firefox will not load. says site is unavalible try later.

try to login to Bank of America account. I am able to get to the account summery screen but can not go to any account. Message comes up "site is busy or not avalible", this happens every time I try to try . I went to Safari and can login and go to all accounts.

Try clearing all history, cache and browser cookies, and then give the website a go.
If that doesn't work, try opening firefox in safe mode.
I know this issue is happening to quite a few people..

  • Bank of America Recommended Offer - Travel Rewards Card

of Good Morning: I've been a Bank of America customer for 11 years and about 3 years ago I was applied and approved for the Bankamericard Cash Rewards VISA. Today I logged into my checking account and saw this Is this a pre-qual? If not, is it something I should app for? Does anyone know anythinng about requirements for this card? MICHAEL, your recommended offer:BankAmericard Travel Rewards® Card15,000bonus pointsif you make at least $500 in purchases in the first 90 days - which can be redeemed for a $150 statement credit towards travel purchases0% Introductory APR on purchases for 12 billing cycles; after that 22.99% variable APR In additionEarn unlimited points – 1.5 points for every $1 you spend on all purchasesPoints don't expire and there is no limit to the total number of points you can earnNo annual fee & no foreign transaction fees†Redeem points to pay for flights, hotels, vacation packages, cruises, rental cars, or baggage feesUse your card to book your trip how and where you want – you’re not limited to specific websites with blackout dates or restrictions

Future reference: their "recommended offers" mean zilch, zero nada. You can plug in your dog's information and get the same result, as others have done! Anyway, congrats on the card. As far as "travel cards" like this go, it seems BOA defines travel a bit more broadly than the others so at least your points can be used on more transactions (though there is still no real advantage over a QS/DC). But if you book travel through the BOA site I think you do get 3 points per dollar. This is not the 'general' recommended offers, this actually only show when you login into your account. After I PC my cash rewards I started getting this offers, for Travel with 15000, then disappeared, then 20000, now 15000 again. Sometimes the offer is for BBR also.  @OP, is your cash card at 22.9%? My offer say 16.9% after the promo and thats the APR I have on my card right now. Is this your lowest limit? I may try for BBR in a few months, but I want all my cards at 5k or more.

  • Firefox 4 beta 2 does not allow typing of credit card security code when accessing Bank of America ShopSafe website.

I reported this through Firefox's Feedback system. I also sent Feedback to Bank of America. I should note, I, so far, have had no other problems with Bank of America and Firefox 4, beta 2. I didn't have issues when I used the non-beta version 3 of Firefox prior to updating to Firefox 4. All I ask is that the issue be examined.
    Thank you!

Firefox 4.0b2 isn't an "upgrade" or "update" right now. It is a pre-release version for testing the code that will become Firefox 4.0 - '''''5 or 6 months''''' from now. It's not ready for the general public, it is intended to be tested - only.

  • Cant login to Bank of America to pay bills anymore with Firefox 4

I had bookmark's set to all my online billpaying accounts, like for example Bank of America. When I click on login, it takes me to a totally white blank screen now (in Firefox 4) and does not show me my site key so I can enter my password. This has happened on numerous sites. OR if it lets me into a site (like into my ING direct account, some "clickables" there to do certain actions are totally locked and I am not directed to do the action I request. I am having similar problems with AT&T Yahoo Mail that won't let me look at my contacts when logged in. It locks up for that and will not even display the contacts. I am getting frustrated with Firefox 4 because so many websites don't work as they used to work.

  • I can't find a way to block cookies from the Bank of America website. Is there a way to still do this?

Previously, when accessing the Bank of America Online Banking website I could keep them from placing cookies on my machine. Following your online instructions I can only deal with history. How can I block cookies with the current version of Firefox running on a Mac?

I installed the add-on, and was told it was installed, but when I go to the Bank of America site I can't find an icon to toggle. If I could find it, it sounds like what I'm looking for.
However, I have gone to the Permissions list for the BofA website and with either "Allow cookies just for this session" or "Don't allow cookies" makes it impossible to get into the site.
The frustrating thing is that I can use Safari and ALL of the security boxes show up, just as they used to do with Firefox.

  • I can't access my bank of america online banking

I can't access my bank of America online banking. When I type in my online ID it says unable to process request.

New computer with Firefox 3.6.8 could not login to Bank. Used to work. The fix for me was deleting the bank's cookie. Got to Tools-Options-Privacy-Show Cookies-Remove your banks website and try the Login again. This worked for me.

  • On my Bank of America Billpay I get an error when trying to see a pdf of a bill in Firefox 4

With the new version of Firefox I am unable to open pdf ebills on the Bank of America site. I had no problem on earlier versions. There is no problem on Explorer opening the pdf.

According to this Firefox help item - [[https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Opening%20PDF%20files%20within%20Firefox?s=pdf&as=s|"opening pdf files"]] - Adobe does not yet maintain a plugin for viewing PDF files within Firefox for computers with Mac OS X. To view PDFs in Firefox: If you have a Mac with an Intel processor, the Firefox PDF Plugin extension can be used to view PDF files in Firefox. However, if you go to download this plugin extension - [[https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pdf-plugin-for-firefox-on-mac-/|plugin ext.]]- you find that it is "Not available for Firefox 4.0.1". In other words, if you are running the latest version of the Firefox browser, both Mozilla and Apple have left you high & dry.

  • Problem with Bank of America website

Flash Player interferes with my opening Bank of America site.
Internet Explorer says it cannot open the page. I have done the
diagnostics on the connection. There is no problem and every other
website works fine. I have to uninstall Flash Player, and reboot
before I can open BOA and delete all temp files. A pain in the ....
I am constantly installing and uninstalling flash player. Any ideas
what to do about this? Thanks

I too am unable to use this app with my iPhone 4 running 4.0.1. It keeps saying:
"Your account must be enrolled in SiteKey to access Mobile BAnking. Please log-in to your online account at www.bankofamerica.com from your PC and enroll in SiteKey."
I am enrolled in SiteKey and have been for quite some time. I could access and utilize everything within this app on my iPhone 2G and now, not on my iPhone 4. I called Apple and they referred me to the developer (BofA). I asked Bank of America and they said the same thing, that the app currently doesn't support the iPhone 4.
How did you get yours working Gtrplayer19? What did you do different than all of us?

  • 10.4.11 Security update and bank of America

I installed the update last night. I attempted to access my Bank of America credit card account today. When I try sign in at the "enter online ID" step, I get a page the says: "Bad request, your browser sent a query that this server could not understand".
I have tried sign-on with Omniweb, Firefox, Safari and Opera. Cleared cache, cookies and history.I repaired permissions (after the update only), and used Macjanitor as well. Bank of America says that I must have installed a new firewall. By the way, I tried a sign-on with my kids Windows computer and that works fine.
    Any suggestions?

I think I found the problem. BOA uses Macromedia Flash ( I think) on it's site. I went to my system library and deleted all preferences for Macromedia Flash and viola: I can sign on again. Perhaps this will help someone else.
