Bank of America

I have been researching this issue for quite a while. The basic issue is that when trying to login to Bank of America website I get the following error:
"Your browser sent a query this server could not understand. "
I get this regardless of the browser. I have attempted to use the latest versions as of this posting of Camino, Firefox, Opera, and Safari. I always have the same results.
If I logon to my Mac using a different profile, then I have no issue. So I know that the issue has something to do with something hidden in my profile.
I did migrate my settings from a previous Mac that was running Tiger if that is relevant. I am sure it is to a degree because I must have migrated the issue as I had the problem on that system as well.
Doing a sudo to root and launching the browser allows me to enter the site without issue.
If I go to Home>Library>Application Support and delete the Firefox directory, effectively resetting Firefox, I am prompted to import settings from another browser upon the launch of Firefox. I choose not to import anything. When I attempt to logon the "first time" to the Bank of America, it acts like it wants to go forward and then it redirects to the Bad Request page with the aforementioned error. Subsequent attempts immediately send me to this page.
I have attempted to delete Home>Library>Application Support>Cookies>Cookies.plist but that didn't seem to make a difference. I have also deleted the Home>Library>Application Support>Safari directory as well but that too didn't seem to make a difference. Of course, all the directories are recreated.
I have examined my Keychain and haven't found any relevant entries related to Bank of America that I can see.
My basic question is there some shared area that all browsers will plug-into on a Mac where this setting that is obviously throwing a monkey wrench into play?
Any ideas?

One of customers have a requirement to make electronic payments to vendors. The DME file should be in Bank of America format (BAFF).

I have tried with program RFFOUS_T - Payment Medium USA - Transfers/Bank Direct Debits in ACH Format. The output generated is no where near to the format.
Does anyone know whether SAP supports such format or any program that will help to generate the DME file from the payment run ?

Payment method /w Paypal -or- Bank of America

I am a seventeen and a half year old that has a job and has just recently (in the past 1-2 weeks) opened up a checking & savings account with Bank of America. I am online with Bank of America and I have setup my PayPal account with my Bank of America checking account. I am having a hard time trying to find a method to pay for a 30GB iPod (Black + Engraving) from the website. Is there any way to use PayPal or the Bank of America website as an option to pay for the iPod?

I'm guessing you don't have a debit card with your new checking acct? If you do, use that in the credit card option. A debit card can be used as a credit card if it has the Visa, etc logo on it. Otherwise, you can use the Bill Me Later option, though by the looks of it, it will take considerably longer that way.

Cant login to Bank of America to pay bills anymore with Firefox 4

I had bookmark's set to all my online billpaying accounts,like for example Bank of America. When I click on login, it takes me to a totally white blank screen now (in Firefox 4) and does not show me my site key so I can enter my password. This has happened on numerous sites. OR if it lets me into a site (like into my ING direct account, some "clickables" there to do certain actions are totally locked and I am not directed to do the action I request. I am having similar problems with AT&T Yahoo Mail that won't let me look at my contacts when logged in. It locks up for that and will not even display the contacts. I am getting frustrated with Firefox 4 because so many websites don't work as they used to work.

Firefox 4 beta 2 does not allow typing of credit card security code when accessing Bank of America ShopSafe website.

I reported this through Firefox's Feedback system. I also sent Feedback to Bank of America. I should note, I, so far, have had no other problems with Bank of America and Firefox 4, beta 2. I didn't have issues when I used the non-beta version 3 of Firefox prior to updating to Firefox 4. All I ask is that the issue be examined.

Can't acess Bank of America account Firefox 36.0.1. Flashes for second then blank

BofA site comes up for a fraction of a second then screen goes blank and loading circle spins. All this after 36.0.1 update. Windows 7. Other browsers have no problems with Bank of America site , Cleared cookies and cache but no Joy

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

I can't find a way to block cookies from the Bank of America website. Is there a way to still do this?

Previously, when accessing the Bank of America Online Banking website I could keep them from placing cookies on my machine. Following your online instructions I can only deal with history. How can I block cookies with the current version of Firefox running on a Mac?

I installed the add-on, and was told it was installed, but when I go to the Bank of America site I can't find an icon to toggle. If I could find it, it sounds like what I'm looking for.
However, I have gone to the Permissions list for the BofA website and with either "Allow cookies just for this session" or "Don't allow cookies" makes it impossible to get into the site.
The frustrating thing is that I can use Safari and ALL of the security boxes show up, just as they used to do with Firefox.

Bank of America App?

Has anyone been able to get this app installed and working on the Blackberry? I have the Z10. I go through the process of downloading the app. Looks like it is going to work but then at the top of the screen it says this app is not available for this device According to Bank of America it is. Could it be just the Z10 that it is not available for?

Hopefully this will get EX to clean up their act.

Bank of America Flat File in SAP

One of our clients wants to use Bank of America Flat File Format for Electronic bank Statement. Is there any standard program in SAP for the same or I need to do a Z development for the same?

I can't access my bank of america online banking

I can't access my bank of America online banking. When I type in my online ID it says unable to process request.

New computer with Firefox 3.6.8 could not login to Bank. Used to work. The fix for me was deleting the bank's cookie. Got to Tools-Options-Privacy-Show Cookies-Remove your banks website and try the Login again. This worked for me.

I am unable to open my bank account at Bank of America

Step #1 I can get the web page for BAC but cannot open my personal account after entering my required passcode for Bank of America. I havae to go to Internet Explorer. Very frustrating! Thank you.

On my Bank of America Billpay I get an error when trying to see a pdf of a bill in Firefox 4

With the new version of Firefox I am unable to open pdf ebills on the Bank of America site. I had no problem on earlier versions. There is no problem on Explorer opening the pdf.

I can't view/download other apps such as Bank of America App in Apps store

I can't see the Bank of America App in App store. I click the link in their website to direct me to the app but I can't see it.

That's the point I'm trying to tell. Account works weirdly. I bought so many apps with this id and I'm having a problem with some free apps. Free apps also have to appear on every account's purchases tabs (I tried with my friend's account on his MBP and it works as it has to be) but in my account don't. I'm using only one id on my computer and there is no chance to mixing up. I'm having this problem almost more than 1 year. I completely lost my Garageband, iMovie and iPhoto and I can't get them back to my account's purchases tab even I install them from store...

Problem with Bank of America website

Flash Player interferes with my opening Bank of America site.
Internet Explorer says it cannot open the page. I have done the
diagnostics on the connection. There is no problem and every other
website works fine. I have to uninstall Flash Player, and reboot
before I can open BOA and delete all temp files. A pain in the ....
I am constantly installing and uninstalling flash player. Any ideas

I too am unable to use this app with my iPhone 4 running 4.0.1. It keeps saying:
"Your account must be enrolled in SiteKey to access Mobile BAnking. Please log-in to your online account at www.bankofamerica.com from your PC and enroll in SiteKey."
I am enrolled in SiteKey and have been for quite some time. I could access and utilize everything within this app on my iPhone 2G and now, not on my iPhone 4. I called Apple and they referred me to the developer (BofA). I asked Bank of America and they said the same thing, that the app currently doesn't support the iPhone 4.
How did you get yours working Gtrplayer19? What did you do different than all of us?

10.4.11 Security update and bank of America

I installed the update last night. I attempted to access my Bank of America credit card account today. When I try sign in at the "enter online ID" step, I get a page the says: "Bad request, your browser sent a query that this server could not understand".
I have tried sign-on with Omniweb, Firefox, Safari and Opera. Cleared cache, cookies and history.I repaired permissions (after the update only), and used Macjanitor as well. Bank of America says that I must have installed a new firewall. By the way, I tried a sign-on with my kids Windows computer and that works fine.
Any suggestions?

I think I found the problem. BOA uses Macromedia Flash ( I think) on it's site. I went to my system library and deleted all preferences for Macromedia Flash and viola: I can sign on again. Perhaps this will help someone else.
