Bank Reconciliation date

Dear Experts
SBO 2007B pl07
I am doing Manual Reconciliation for Bank. Here i want to put check realized date. Is there any Provision for check realize date?
regards

Dear Ashish
Everyday some cheques are cleared, End user cannot make everyday reconciliation because user can get the bank statement every month end. So that  they wants to put clearing date in the statement.
If you see the tally software for Bank Reconciliation you can easily identify the problem.
thanks & regards

  • Manual Bank Reconciliation Statement for multiple dates

How can we enter ONE manual BRS for multiple posting dates?
Below is the scenario for which we need multiple posting dates in one bank statement.
We receive and enter in SAP the Bank reconciliation statement at the end of every month.  The system considers Posting date as end of the month ( the entry date or a single date what we enter).  The transactions however belongs to many dates of the month.  So while posting the bank statement system considers only one posting date and picks up the exchange rates of one date ( that is the posting date).  It results in undesired exchange rate differences.
To elaborate more please check the following example:
    1. Incoming Payment on 01-12-09 in USD (USD = Foreign Currency, AED = Local Currency ) with Exchage rate 3.8.
    2. Incoming Payment on 06-12-09 in USD with Exchange rate 3.9
    3. Incoming Payment on 09-1209 in USD with Exchange Rate 3.7
If all of the above transactions are posted at one posting date the system picks up only one exchange rate at the posting date.  However the system should pick up the respective exchange rates on the transaction date.
I hope I am able to communicate properly.

  • Deriving the profit center / segment during Bank Reconciliation

    Hi SDN,
One of our requirements is to generate a Financial Statement by Segments.
For this reason, we also need to derive / tag our Bank Reconciliation documents (Manual and Electronic) to the corresponding profit centers or segments. The problem though is that during FF67 or FF_5, there's no way we can enter these data.
At the same time, we can't set a default profit center via FAGL3KEH since these bank accounts may be used for multiple profit centers and not defaulted to one only.
My question now is, can we use the document splitting functionality so that we can "inherit" the profit center / segment from the payment document during bank recon?
To give you an idea here's a sample flow of what we wanted.
Customer Invoice (GL view)      - OK in the system
Dr  Accounts Receivable  (profit center 1) *inherited
Cr  Revenue Account (profit center 1)
Incoming Payment (GL view)     - OK in the system
Dr Incoming Clearing (profit center 1)
Cr Accounts Receivable (profit center 1)
    Bank Reconciliation
Dr Main Bank             (profit center 1)
Cr Incoming Clearing (profit center 1)
Currently, system does not inherit the bank reconciliation document to the right profit center. Is there any way we can do this in the system?
    Thanks

    Dear,
During bank Reco system inherit the Profit Center from the document which it is clearing. There is no need to maintain Default the same in FAGL3KEH.
Please activate splitting at Profit Center level.
    Hope this helps!!

  • Bank Master Data ( Creation of new Account )....

    Dear SAP Gurus,
Good morning to all,i have one doubt regarding creating a new Bank Master Data in Production, please help me.My user has a requirement which is like one Cash Credit Account has been opened with SBI bank where with the same bank and branch there is already an existing Current Account, now my client wants from me to create a bank master data for the new bank Cash Credit  Account( as he is saying that he has to maintain BRS).
Now i have to know that what is the best practice in sap whether i should create one more  master data for the new Account or i should attach the new account with the existing Bank Master?
Please help it is urgent.I'll be waiting for your valuable suggestion.
    Regards
    Rajiv Kapur

    Hi Rajiv,
Creation of new house bank will not serve purpose in better way, it is only required when there is a complext scenatio in check printing but that does not appear in your case.
So, create a new Bank Account in the existing House Bank, this will be included in Bank Reconciliation. Moreover, creation of Bank account instead of House Bank will also ease some maintainance in Bank Reconciliation statement configuration.

  • Bank Reconciliation Report

    Dear Members,
A bank reconciliation report is the report showing all the transactions reconciled in the period. In accounting the bank statement is regarded as the bible of the company's monthly transactions and the bank reconciliation report is the only prove that all transactions on the bank statement has been reconciled in the SAP Bydesign or any system.
This report must be signed by the chief financial controller for listed companies and filed at the end of every period or month. We need to have a tab on the bank statement creation/reconciliation window for printable bank statement report which should have the cheque numbers, payment references, receipts references, customer/supplier name, amount in credit/debit, date etc all in rows. There should be an option to print a detailed or summary or total report. There should also be a reminding pop up at the end of every bank statement creation or reconciliation to print this report.
I believe we need this facility on Bydesign ASAP, as it does not look good for a wonderful system like bydesign with complete mobility to be downgraded due to a simple tab or an essential like bank reconciliation report. I am an accountant and the first DOCUMENT I will request for on an audit is the bank reconciliation report( please ask any accountant or auditor to confirm this). Currently my CFO is questioning the selection of Bydesign due to the lack of this report and soon our auditors will request that we migrate to another accounting system due to SOX 404( Listed companies reporting requirements).
    Sincerely,
    Emeka Ikwukeme, CPA

    Hello Emeka,
I landed on this thread when I tried searching for a similar requirement. I'm curious to know if something came out of this discussion.
Have you been able to pull something out of the system using any workaround, or creating a new report,...?
    Thanks,
    Mohan

  • Electronic Bank Reconciliation

    Dears,
We are on our way to implement electronic bank reconciliation in our SAP system.
However, there are certain points I am not very clear. Could you please offer your valuable comments:
WE understand that we can download the data from the Bank in approved data format such as (BAI, MT*, etc.) and directly upload into the system.
But what is the difference between these:
    - What is MT100 & MT940 format ?
    - Do they serve the same purpose ?
We are planning to use MT940 Statement uploading.

    Hello Nikitha,
Please refer below mentioned links and documents it will help you to understand.

  • Standard Bank Reconciliation and Customer and Vendor Statement of Accounts

    Hello Experts,
I am implementing ECC6.0 now.  I'm noit very familiar with the version so I am very hopeful that you could help me find the following standard reports in SAP. If these are not standard, then I need to recommend customization since the data are in SAP nonetheless.
Are these reports available as standard report in SAP ECC6.0?  Can you please tell me the transaction codes?
    - Bank Reconciliation
    - Statement Of Accounts for Customers
    - Statement of Accounts for vendors
    - Credit Analysis using Credit Control Area as parameter
    Thanks in advance
    Rocel

    Hi,
BRS - FF_5 (If the statement is in a recognised format), FF67 and FEBA_BANK_STATEMENT (if the statement is manual)
Statement of Accounts for vendors and customers - F.27, Correspondence SAP06. However you may want to change the standard form.
    Credit Analysis - FCV3, F.33, F.31, S_ALR_87012218.

  • Manual Extrenal Bank Reconciliation

    Hi Experts
Can anyone explain me, which amount we should put in Ending balance as a parameter in Manual Reconciliation?
Is there any study materail available on Manual Reconciliation in SAP B1 2007 B ?
    Regards
    Kamlesh Vagal

    Hi,
    1) Transactions in book after date:
In the Reconciliation-Selection Criteria window, if we define the Due
Date To field as 31.12.2008 for example, then all Transaction connected
to this G/L account with the Due Date to later then 31.12.2008 will be
    summaried.
    2) Total in Books for Checking
It shows the difference between the amount in Books and the amount in
Bank; amount in our books to be cleared
    3) Total in Bank for Checking
It should always be equal to the value of Total in Books for Checking,
amount in bank statement to be cleared
In fact the two means the same: difference between books and bank.
But Open in books after date and open in bank after date always indicate 0.I dont know the purpose of it
    Hope this is helpful.
