Banner with Multiple Links?

Hi I want to make a banner for advertising purposes. I want the banner to have mutliple images and each image links to a different page. It has to be in a format where I can send it to a publisher to upload.
How would I go about making this? Should I use Flash or Photoshop?

I am trying to convert a PDF file with multiple links to a word document. When the conversion is complete and the document is saved as a word document I cannot access the links - I keep getting error messages or messages that say a program is not associated with the link.

How do I create an iView with multiple links to R/3 transactions

Hello Portal developers,
I'm looking for a solution for displaying multiple links on a single iView or Page. The requirement is calling for several SAP Transactions and a link to an external web application from a single view. Could or should this be done using KM Navigation iView, or creating separate iViews for each link and placing them in a page?

Are the SAP Transactions fixed ?
I mean have you fixed that only these many transactions have to be displayed ?
If yes, better option would be to create separate iviews for each and assign these to the "Related Links" or "Dynamic Navigation" of a page.
IF no, that means, you want the user shall enter the transaction code and that transaction should open up in iview, then ofcourse you cant go in for the above solution.

Need help with multiple links in one Flash file

Hi, I have to do a banner which is basically 4 different
slides that fade up and down, but the client wants each slide to
link to a different place when the user clicks on it. I know how to
create an invisible button to link the whole ad, but how would I
link each slide? Thanks in advance!

Am I getting no replies because this can't be done in Flash?
Is there a better way to do it? Actionscripts perhaps?
BTW, I'll have no access to the html page that the client
will be putting the swf file on so I wouldn't be able to put any
code around the file for linking, like if I did a bunch of jpg's
and found a script on the web somewhere that would fade them up and
down and link them. They want the linking built right into the swf,

I had an older version of Firefox with a toolbar that allowed me to view multiple links at once. Is that toolbar avaiable for the current version of Firefox?

When viewing an email with multiple links, I would click an icon in the toolbar which looked like a vertical multi-colored bar and all the links would open on the same page. I cannot find this (add-on) now that I have downloaded the current version of Firefox. Is there something which works similarly available?
Some of the other icons on this tool bar were red arrows.

Maybe I just don't know how to make it work but It doesn't open all the links in at once in the same tab. I will read more about to see if I can figure this out. It is a challenge to learn new programs. I should have saved the old Firefox program which downloaded along with Firefox as I remember.

Multiple linked query report in 6i

Hi,
I have a report with multiple linked queries.
Group 1 (1st query)
Group 2 (2nd query linked to 1st query)
Group 3 (3rd query linked to 1st query)
There is a page protect on group 2, when group 2 goes to a the second page it sometimes leaves room for group 3 to print on the first page.
I do not want group 3 to print until group 2 has finished printing entirely.
How can I push group 3 to print on the second page if there is room on the first page??

Hi Kelly,
Typically, group 2 will be in a variable sized frame (M_2). If group 3 is below "M_2" (and there's nothing between them) then group 3 should be implicitly anchored to "M_2". That is, as "M_2" expands, group 3 will move down to make room for "M_2".
The implicit anchor that would normally be created in the above scenario would be against group 3 with the following print conditions:
- Print Object On: "Last Page"
- Base Printing On: "Anchoring Object" (ie: "M_2")
In this case, Group 3 would only print when "M_2" has completed - by the sounds of, this should be the bahaviour you want.
Check the above values against your Group 3. You can always re-set the "Print Object On" property to "Default" to get Reports to create these values for you.
If you have to, you can create an explicit anchor between Group 3 & "M_2" and set the above print conditions manually against Group 3.

Multiple iPod Touchs with Facetime linked to a single Apple ID

I have Multiple iPod Touchs (7 to be exact) with Facetime linked to a single Apple ID using different email addresses but all connected to the same WiFi network. Problem is that when I try to call one from another, multiples ring. I can call my iPhone4 with no problems even when the iPhone4 is on the same WiFi (iPhone4 is also linked to the same Apple ID). From what I have read, this should work and, in fact, it does.... sorta. Does anyone know how to get the calls to be answered by only the iTouch that is associated with that email that I am calling?

(2) If the seven emails you used are literally those you posted, perhaps creating more and using each as a separate iD rather than merely caller iDs associated with only one iD could get FaceTime working.
I would start with only two iPods. Once you can make two work, you can replicate the solution five more times.

I am totally confused. Could it be that facetime is sending out both the primary ID and the associated id? Help!!!

How to manage linked files with multiple designers?

I work at a small company with multiple designers (5 of us) where 3 of us work remotely. We use dropbox to manage our files so that everyone has access--we keep client files in specific folders and stock media in a shared folder.
Currently whenever we open a file that's been edited by someone else, we have to go in and individually relink the files. Some would prefer to embed the files, however this can increase filesize by 60-400mb. Our current files total in at around 500gb, so I don't think that's a viable option.
4 of us are on Macs, 1 on Windows. 1 has CS5, 3 have CS6 and one has CC.
My question is this:
If we all have the same path to dropbox (or the same path to the file, either way) will Illustrator be able to automatically find the files?
Eg. X:/Dropbox/...
If so, will it work cross platform?
I know InDesign has a better link management system, is there a good plugin that would help with this?
I'm going to continue to do my own research and testing, but I thought I'd consult those more knowledgeable than me.

Thanks for your response. Currently, dropbox works so that it syncs online but also is stored locally on your hard drive (not like a network drive). So one person could have a different path to the dropbox folder than the other. As for the second part, that would be about the same as embedding it in the file as far as general disk space usage. We use many of the same stock photos in multiple files, so keeping them in the same location reduces the amount of space used. It wouldn't be a huge problem if illustrator used relative paths instead of absolute paths, but alas.
I was forgetting that Mac OS doesn't use drive letters, so there probably won't be a way for illustrator to read things as the same path cross-platform...
I'm still wondering if there are any good plug-ins which help find broken links.

i would like to build a page with multiple forms linked to one table (orders) , the page has 4 from each one with different order_id number (depending on filtering), and if the order is prepared click yes for each order and this 'YES' should be UPDATED AND SAVED to each order number in the same table with the press of one button.
i created all the form as (sql query)
and create one update process

I am no Apex expert, but with a situation as "complex" as yours, have you thought about creating a VIEW that joins these 7/8 tables, placing an INSTEAD OF trigger on that view to do all the business logic in the database, and base your application on the view?
This is the "thick-database" approach that has been gaining momentum of late. The idea is to put your business logic in the database wherever possible, and let the application (Form, Apex, J2EE, whatever) concentrate on UI issues,

Banner with a clickable link, what am I doing wrong???

I am trying to make a web banner out of an image I have with a link added so when you click the banner it takes you to the website. It looks fine on my computer but when I saved and email it the image is gone but the link still works. What am I doing wrong?

HTML emails require you to save the images on a server then link to those images with absolute links in the email.
The recipient's email client also needs to be set up to view images (many aren't).

Related Link doesnt work with Multiple Helpsets

Robohelpx4.1 is used as the authering tool to generate our help files in OHW format. We have different projects creating one helpset file each and it is merged in the ohwconfig.xml. Each helpset has its own link,map,index,Toc files created by robohelp. The link file created by robohelp has the linkitem id created in seq order and names as Link01,Link02,Link03..... .
The link file of other helpset also has the same structure and ids. (The linkitem id's are not unique across the helpsets)
But the related link doesnt work properly when more than one helpset is configured, for both the options of combined book and separate books. Links get mixed up and shows topics of other links.
Is there anyway this can work ?

Hi all,
Is it possible to create a banner in FW that transitions between two states and to have each state link to a different page? I tried to accomplish this with hotspots, but clicking on the banner would direct to the same page for both stages.
To be clear, I would like clicking on the banner to take you to a different page, depending on which stage you clicked.

So, as I hope you can see, I just need a way of telling it
that if I click "Egypt", the gallery on the right changes to the
Egypt gallery, and then if I click on Life or Things or Contact

I have thought about doing it by having every gallery on its
own page, with the link-menu on the left the same on every page
except for each link being highlighted depending on what the
gallery is, but this will mean the collapsible panel won't really
have full functionality then, as it'll open smoothly but then a
link outside of it is clicked, it will just go to a page where the
panel is closed, so will look very sudden and not very elegant, so
I was trying to do it in a way that preserved the open/close motion
of the sidebar panel.
Also, I thought doing each gallery on a different page might
be quite an inefficient way of doing and thought there must just be
a simple way of telling the 'flashcontent' container to just point
to a different .swf file for each link clicked.

No. You cant link application tier with more than one database.

Simple web banner with links

I give. I've tried and tried to google, check forums, etc. and cannot find the exact answer to what I believe should be simple (if you know what you are doing).
I need a simple rotating web banner with three photos. Each photo represents a different event and needs a different link to a different brochure.
I have Dreamweaver CS3, Photoshop CS and Imageready CS.

ABCS with multiple partner link invocation through artifact generator

I have requirement to generate ABCS through Artifact generator and this ABCS would be invoking multiple web services with different ABMs.
How can we specify this in the input.xml of artifact generator to auto generate a code with multiple external web service invocations?

You should be able to populate the Target multiple times. Could you please give it a try and post the metadata input file if the issue still persists.
