BAPI business object to create order without charge

Hi all,
I am having problem to create order without charge or subsequent delivery free of charge (with sales document category 'I', read from TVAK table).
I read from OSS 93091 that for that sales document category 'I', business object BUS2103 has to be passed. I try to do online testing but hit by error : 'Unpermitted combination of business object BUS2103 and sales doc.category I'.
I have use the correct order type (sample order with doc. category I) for my own testing.
Appreciate any of your help to resolve these problem.

Reg. Business Object of Sample order request ( sales) for workflow

Hello Friends,
Path: Sales-> Maintain Sales transactions ->Sample Order Request
I want to create workflow for below scenario.
When i create Sample order request in CRM, that time workflow should be triggered and notification mail go to a concerned person.
now for that i need Business Object for Sample Order Request.
So please can you suggest me a Business Object (BUS) for this sales transaction of sample order request.

business object for sample order request is BUS2000115
i think for achieving your scenario, you don't need to make a workflow.
there is another way than using workflow, i.e. using action.
based on my experience, there more effort for building workflow for sending mail notification when a transaction document is created than using an action.
but if you insist, than you need to make a customization of business object BUS2000115
hopes it helps.

This order is created / changed using the tcode KO22/KO24.

Hello,
Please look into the business object "BUDOCUMENT" which has the methods related to the Budget documents. If this BO doesn't suit your requirements, I feel you can take it as a base to create a subtype or a new BO to meet your requirements.

Business Object Data Services (BODI) without SAP MDM?

Hi,
From an architectural point of view; do you always have to use SAP MDM when you want to use the Business Object Data Services (e.g. for data validity checks when creating customers)?
Or can you use Business Object Data Services in combination with SAP ECC without MDM?

All Depends on your business needs.
1) As in if you want to use most effective cleansing (BODS contains inbult infor for Adderess cleansing) along with some data governance(Validation, assignments,MDM Workflow) I would say fo with BO-MDM Integration.
2) Here I am not sure via BODS - ECC you can handle ongoing maintainance , it is supreb for first time data load.
so it is better if you use ECC-BO-MDM ---> BI/ECC for smooth transition through out landscape.
3) Here also try to check the data structure compactiblity between BODS and ECC as per their version, it can also create a big impact.
Hope these points can clear many doubts

Business Objects universe Create disabled In SAP Data Services

I am trying to to create Business Objects Universe from SAP Data Services . But create and update options are disabled. I have the Information design tool and SAP Data services on the same machine .

Hello Venkata Ramana Pandi,
As Manoj Dhyani mention in the above thread, try changing it into CWM format and give it a try.
Follow the below steps:
Export the DS datastore in CWM format, select the datastore and enter a XML file name
Open the Universe Builder (this option will be in BOE Program menu), you have a option in Universe Builder to import XML exported from Data Services/Data Integrator, check if that creates your Universe successfully
to use Metadata Exchange do the following
Open Data Services Desginer
Click on tools Menu -> Metadata Exchange
In the Metadata Exchange window
Select Export Data Services metadata to a file
Select DI CWM as metadata format
enter location for xml file (C:\temp)
Select the datastore you want to create Universe for
Click OK
Check for file named repo_export.xml in the C:\temp folder or the folder that you specified
Open Universe Builder and Select
Data Integrator bridge
and use the xml file as input to create universe

Error message in Creating order without Partner Function ER(CSR)

You can do this by following:
SPRO>S & D>Basic func> Set up partner determination , select Partner determination for Sales doc header. Here check through ->Partner Determination Procedure Assignment as to which procedure is assigned to your Sales doc type.
After getting the procedure goto ->Partner Determination Procedure Assignment , Select-> Partner Functions in Procedure, check here if your partner function if available, if not add it here and mark it as Mandatory.
This will solve your issue.

If the iphone 4 (8G) shipment was delay behind of the delivery date, can i cancel the order without charge?

Dear Sir/Madam,
Recently, I was ordered the iphone 4 (8G) in HK and got the status of receiving the iphone on date 26-Nov or before. However, I haven't receive any iphone on that day so i was contact the apple hotline on monday morning (office hr, mon-fir, 9-6). They said i can cancel the order and wavie the cancel order charge. At this moment, i believed that this is settled.
However, afternoon in same day, Apple's customer service told me that i can't wavie the cancel order charge and suggest me to accept the order. If i can't accept the order, they will charge me 15% order fee. So i confirmed them to receive the order on next day again.
On next day (tuesday), i waited the order, but the order was not delivery to me (result dhl was delivery it to apple store). I was angry to contact your customer service, they replied me to say "I don't know why" and convinced me to "accept it devliery on the next day". At this moment, they made me very disappointed. So, I tried to apply the cancel order again, they said if you cancel order, you will need to pay 15% cancel order fee.
Up to now, the order was delayed two working days. I suspected the delivery date was incredible. How do i trust your product delivery on time?
And I am so argry that why your order cannot delivery to me on time and why if your order cannot delivery to me on time, can i waive the cancel order charge?

@Dougnvic, no need to worry because I'm here to help! The vibrate function is very important especially when you're in a situation where you cannot have the ringer turned on.
If we replace your phone through the warranty you are only charged for the equipment if there is any damage on the phone. The normal wear and tare is expected and you will not be billed for the phone because of these scratches.
Once the phone is received it is inspected for any physical or liquid damage. If damage is found you are then billed for the phone and the charge will appear on your bill. You will also receive a text message advising you of the charge. Once you are billed the charge cannot be removed even if you return the replacement.
If you change your mind and do not want to have the phone replaced you can just return the replacement once you receive it and keep your current phone. Just use the prepaid return label that will be inside the box of the replacement.
If you are sure there hasn't been any damage then there is nothing to worry about. You will not be charged. You can also take the phone into a store and have a store representative take a look at the phone before you return it, if that makes you feel better.

if you activate the technical names in the menu, you'll see that transction for maintaining sales transactions is called:
crmd_bus2000115
So there you have it, it's BO BUS2000115

Authorisation in Business Objects Explorer Infospaces created on BEx query

Hello,
We have installed Business Objects Explorer, created Universe on BEx query and created a Explorer Infospace on that universe. everything works fine but the authorisations created for the user in BEx query are not taken into consideration when I login using SAP username "leveraging" SSO.
Is Explorer not designed to consider authorisations in BEX query?
Whats happening during Indexing of an Infospace? Will the system save the data in Business Objects repository from the source of the data?

Hi Suman,
You are right , Explorer is not designed to leverage Authorisations in SAP BW.
Polestar is indexing data and keeping it out side of BW. Although you can log in with SSO , it doesn't check the authorization according to BW, it shows everything indexed.
You can have a workaround if the case is simple such as;
Suppose you have 3 region , you can create 3 infospaces and give these authorizations to users from CMC.
But if you really want to use all features of authorization in BW , it is impossible for now.

I have requirement to create custom business object and create Web Service for that and use in external system (SAP ECC / SAP CRM / Third Party).
1) Is it possible to create custom object web service and used in external system ?
2) When we create the Web service from custom business object what the necessary steps(action : Create , Read , Update) require?

Creating new business object key.

Hi experts,
i created a new z business object and created its keys but when i am trying to release the business object key 'personnelnumber' it's showing following error:
"Function 'Change status' is not supported by the selected object 'PersonnelNumber' ".
Please suggest me the solution.

But in program of my Z business object ZANNUAL_COMP error is shown as follows so i can't generate my business object.
The data object "OBJECT-_ZANNUAL_COMP" does not have a component
"PERSONNELNUMBER".
