BAPI LSMW -  Partner Profile - VCHARVAL

Hi,
I´m trying to use a LSMW to load data to vendor characteristic, I´m using BAPI method with message type: VCHARVAL, but when I´m going to configure "Maintain Partner Numbers", I need to fit in the Inbound Parameters the field "Process Code", I already tried some values but it doesn´t work.
Can someone tell me what the "process code" is necessary to put in that configuration?

I created a LSMW project, using Business Object Method(BAPI), with Business Object: LFA1, Method: SAVECHARVALUEREPLICAS, Message Type: VCHARVAL and Basic Type: VCHARVAL01, to load data into vendor characteristic values.
When I try to Start IDoc Processing I receive an error: "Function module not allowed: IDOC_INPUT_CHRMAS", I know that error is about the configuration of IDoc Inbound Processing, but I don´t know how configurate in the partner profiles, the Inbound parameters to the message type VCHARVAL.

  • BAPI Function Get partner profiles of message type

    Hi Gurus!
Does anyone know any function module or bapi to retrieve the partner profiles / logical system of a message type?
For example, if message type ZMATMAS is in two different logical systems, I would need to retrieve both those logical system.
    Thanks!
    Adi

I have played around a bit, and found out that the table where this info is stored is EDP13 - therefore this solves my problem...
Nevertheless, if anyone knows a good function module/ BAPI please let me know!
    Thanks Gurus!

  • Partner profile in lsmw using idocs

    Hii!
I have a requirement where i need to convert article master in SAP Retail. I am using LSMW using IDOC. I have followed all the steps of configuration like created a partner profile, a message type(zmsg_type), processcode etc.
However in LSMW Step: Start Idoc Generation , i get the foll. error:
<b>Create a partner profile for message type zmsg_type.</b>
    Please help me with this.
    Thanks.

Go to WE20 and then take your partner profile type from the left hand side and check you have assinged the message type in outbound or inbound parameter(in the right hand side).. if you have not then you will get this error.

  • Partner profile for message type.

    Dear All,
I am using bapi in lsmw for data conversion.
I am getting error in 13th step of lsmw, ie, when I execute Start Idoc Generation, it's saying,
Create a partner profile for message type - MATERIALVALUATION_PRICECHANGE.
I already created a partner profile and assigned in the initial screen of lsmw.
Kindly let me know where I am missing.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ranjan

See if any of the follwing helps:
    1. The port used in the partner profile should be a file port, not tRFC.
    2. The checkbox 'Unicode Format' for the port LSMW in WE21 should remain unchecked.

  • Receiving IDoc SYPART01 (Transfer of partner profiles)

Hi, well this is not a special PI issue but we have the problem to receive the SYPART01-Idoc in target system.
This is due to not knowing the process code for inbound processing in target system. We already used BAPI, searched for Function Modules etc. - but with no success.
How do you guys transport partner profiles from one client or system to another?!
Or does someone know how to manage the inbound processing for IDoc SYPART01 ?!
    br Fritz

    Hello,
Any news on this subject ? I'm interested by this topic.
I noticed there must be some specific FM in Emmanuel Hadzipetros SAP Press book.
I guess there aren't any "standard" way !?
I tried to figure out something and notice in the SED package that there are RFC FM like EDI_AGREE_PARTNER_INSERT, maybe we could find out a LSMW solution.

  • Partner Profile Configuration(Outbound Enteries)

    Hi,
I was trying to make a business partner with the BP Role “Master Tenant with Customer Account”. At the time of saving I got following error:
Entry in Outbound Table not found
    Message No E0400
No partner profile(Outbound) could be foundusing following key

This refers to key fields in Table EDP13
    RCVPRN  Partner Number

    MESTYP  Logical Message
    MESTYP  Message Code
    MESCOD  Message function
    TEST        Test indicator
    Please check EDI profiles.
And it directed me to transaction code WE20.
Could you please help me in making the desired settings and explain why this needs to be done.
    Regards,
    Lata

    Hi,
I guess either you are using CRM or Flexible Real Estate Management.
Pl confirm the exact transaction code you are using. Are you using BAPI ?
    For creating the Partner profile,
    Go to WE20,
    Click on Create button.
Give the Partner Number, Give Partner Type as " LS"
    User type- US
    Agent - Your User ID
Give the Message types in the Outbound/ inbound parameters.
    Pl reply for further clarifications
    Thanks

  • CUA: Cannot generate partner profile

    Hi,
I´am implementing CUA in ower landscape. I have the RFC´s and users with their specific roles in Central and child systems, but also I´ve registered the logical systems in BD54 both parts. I had no problems with this SAP process .
Recently I began to add a new child system(CRM 7.0) when I save this in tx:SCUA all the steps are ok but  the message: "Cannot generate partner profile" appears in the last step. I have reviwed users, roles, RFC´s and logical systems, all is OK.
I was looking FOR some information about partner profiles:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/ea/9abf3b4f995f1ce10000000a114084/frameset.htm
and I found that partner profiles type LS are managed by tx:we20.
I found in child system that partner profile CRDCLNT100 alredy exist, this is what the SCUA wants to go to create.
I found also in child system that in transaction BD64 there is not any CUA entry.
Do you know how to solve this problem.
    Thanks in advance
    Enrique.

    Hi Enrique.,
you have not generated partener profile.
Go to BD64 in your parent system then click on change ->Add BAPI then enter the required details.
there is one field obj.name/reference enter details for both object one by one.
first for user and click on ok  and then for usercompany then click on save.
Go to environment menu then click on generate partener profile then click on execute and all must be in green.
After that go to EDIT menu->Model view->distribute select the child system which you want to add and then click ok.
If you have multiple client then do same steps for all client.
After that add system to SCUA.
    Regards

  • Logical system and partner profile configuration

    Hi,
I have a SQL server which is defined as a Business system in my landscape. It is sending records to ECC 6.0 which makes it a JDBC to IDOC scenario (inbound IDocs)
First question is do I have to mention a logical system name for the SQL server Business system too ?
Second question is do I create a Logical system in the ECC system (BD54/SALE) for the SQL system or would it be for the client of the ECC system itslef?
Third question is do I maintain partner profile configurations in WE20 for the SQL business system or for the ECC business system?
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers,
    S

    Hi Sam,
    > First question is do I have to mention a logical system name for the SQL server Business system too ?
Yes, In SLD You have to specify logical system name of the SQL server business system while creating SQL system. After importing business system into Integration directory,in Adepter-Specific Identifiers  you can see logical system name of SQL server business sytem which you defined in SLD.
    > Second question is do I create a Logical system in the ECC system (BD54/SALE) for the SQL system or would it be for the client of the ECC system itslef?
Yes,You have to create Logical system in ECC system for SQL system(Logical system name must be with the same name as logical system name you have given in XI SLD in previous question)
    > Third question is do I maintain partner profile configurations in WE20 for the SQL business system or for the ECC business system?
In WE20 You have to maintain partner profiles for SQL server Logical system
For example: If SQL server Business system name is SQLDEVBS and logical system name is SQLDEVLS
In ECC you have to create logical system as SQLDEVLS and
Partner profiles for SQLDEVLS in WE20.
Please let me know if you have any issues.
    Cheers,
    JAG
