BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE Customer condition group 1

I am trying to use the BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE to determine price and need the VBKD-KDKG1 to determine pricing. Where is this value populated in the BAPI? It in not in the header CUST_GRP1.

A Customer Condition Group is maintained in only 2 digits .If you want to go for more than 2 digits then you need to take the help of ABAP'er and you need to go for enhancement

Customer condition group 1 - 5 on VF02/VF03???

In the invoice position table - VBRP - we have the Customer condition group fields (1-5) But unfortunally I can't see them in the trabnsaction VF02/VF03!
How or what to do?

At item level, you have see the additional data of the reference sales order at the item level.. You can see that in Additional Data1 of the item.

Increasing condition groups for a customer

Hi all,
There is a business requirement wherein a customer needs to be associated with more than 5 condition groups configurable in customer master data under extra (additional data) settings. Since SAP has a limitation of only 5 condition groups, I am not sure how can this requirement be met without undertaking a Z enhancement. Is there any other way/method in SAP by which this objective can be achieved?
Would be greatful if anyone could share their experience on the same.

hi,
that means there are only 5 customer groups in standard SAP.
if you want to increase you can do it technically only by capturing the program name.
SAPLV02Z, screen number 0200.
i think you have to for screen modification.
other than this there is no any alternative.

Customer group is different from customer account assignment group. I have explained you about the customer account group.
Customer group:
Identifies a particular group of customers (for example, wholesale or retail) for the purpose of pricing or generating statistics.
Use
You can freely define customer groups according to the needs of your organization. You assign a customer group to an individual customer in either the customer master record of the sold-to party or in the sales document. In SD Customizing, you can create a condition type that lets you create pricing records for customer groups. Additionally, when you want to generate sales statistics, you can use customer groups as one of the selection criteria.
Procedure
The system can propose a value from the customer master record. You can change the value manually in the document.
Customer group you will find in - XD01 - sales area data - sales screen
Customer account assignment group you will find in - XD01 - sales area data - billing screen.
Similarly material group and mateial account assignment group are both different. Material account assignment group I have explained earlier.
Material group:
Key that you use to group together several materials or services with the same attributes, and to assign them to a particular material group.
Use
You can use material groups to:
Restrict the scope of analyses
Search specifically for material master records via search helps
Material group you will find in - MM01 - Basic data 1 screen
Material account assignment group you will find in - MM01 - Sales:Sales Org. 2 screen.

Custom Condition in Header of central contract

Dear All,
SAP SRM 7.02. Service Contract.
I have created the custom condition type and added those in the group 0100 & 01HD for contract in SRM with reference to ECC.
The custom condition is displayed at header level in the dropdown list. But when i choose the custom conditions, it is not selecting. Where as the standard condition type is selected and able to enter discount.
Kindly guide me .Is there any other setting need to be maintained...??

Now it is displayed in central contract in SRM and i have created contract in SRM and Send to ECC with header custom condition to ECC system.
In the ECC the contract is created, but the central contract that is created in ECC, where i can see the Header condition. I can able to see the Item conditions.
Since the central contract screen in ECC is different than normal contract screen in ECC system.

Condition Groups in Contracts

Hi,
Is it possible to default few condition types in contracts transaction types in CRM under the Sales Agreeement tab?
The issue is that, there is a condition group assiged to the transaction type instead of pricing procedure.
Can some one help me to get the some default condition types?

you can control the customizing of conditions & condition group visible in a TR in SPRO. Try following:
1. check condition group being used to the application SAP CRM in SPRO > Customer Relationship Management> Master Data> Products> Special Settings for Sales Operations--> Assign Condition Group to Application CRM
2.Assign the condition types in your pricing procedure to the above condition group by choosing SPRO>Customer Relationship Management> Master Data --> Conditions and Condition Technique --> Condition Technique: Basics Create Maintenance Group

SD: Site Price list vs Customer price group

Hello Gurus,
Can someone help me on this topic " :
The price list defined in customizing (T_Code OVSI, tab Define price list categories for customers) is used to group site in order to maintain the same condition (percentage or amount) for several sites. The price list could be assigned at site level (merchandise category tab) by merchandise category (WRF6-PLTYP_P). It means that the different merchandise categories could be assigned to different site group.
But when we are talking about customer, we have to maintain the customer list (T_Code OVSI, tab Define pricing group for customers). The customer price group has to be maintained at customer level (KNVV-KONDA). Does it mean that at customer level we can not make the same split (by merchandise category) as it is possible to do it for the site price list? => For the customer, the customer price group is defined for all materials.
Is it correct or do I miss something ?
Furthermore what is the purpose of the Price list field displayed at customer level (KNVV-PLTYP)?

Both are not related to material
Price list -pltyp- generally used in giving discounts or surchage based on price list (whole sale/retail price list)
Customer group (konda)/ material group( kondm) also used to divide customers and material in to different group - and in general these are used in fixing base price to the customer- customer group-ex: maharastra/AP/TN
Material group: perishable/non perishable etc..

Automatic determination of condition group

Hi
My client has the following requirement:
- For 3rd party items, in few situations we might have to supply the items immediately.
- In such situations we request our supplier to supply the item directly to the customer (instead of bringing the item into our plant and then shipping)
- In the existing sales orders we change the item category of the item from ZTAN to ZTAS (3rd party item).
Customer wants to have automatic determination of the condition group 2 field at the item level (to some specified CG2 values) whenever we have the change in the item category.
Let me know how we can do this.

The field Condition group 2 will be depend upon the Customer not based on the Material or Item or itemcategory,
So I dodn't think system will change the data in this field when you change itemcategory alone.
If you change the customer it will change accordingly

Condition group in Sales order

I need help in maintaining the condition group 1 value in tab additional dataA in sales order item level. Right now we are getting the values based on the sold to customer of the sales order but we need it based on the ship to customer.

You can proceed as follows:
Procedure for copying customer master fields to a sales document
Copying customer master fields to a sales document is carried out in two steps:
1. A field in the customer master table (KNA1 or KNVV) is first copied by INCLUDE (KUAGVZ, KUWEVZ, KURGVZ and KUREVZ) to the sold-to party, ship-to party or payer view (KUAGV, KUWEV, KURGV or KUREV). A value is assigned to the field via a user exit (V05...).
2. The field is copied to the sales order table (VBAK, VBKD or VBAP) from the respective customer view (KUAGV, KUWEV, KURGV or KUREVZ). A value is assigned to the field via a user exit in program MV45AFZZ (USEREXIT_MOVE_...).
In your case it will be:

KUWEV (Ship-to party view of customer master record)
Transport from customer view to the sales document table

Doubt with Customer pricing group

          I have maintained a customer pricing group in customer master. say x is my customer so i maintained c.p.g as A1(regular cust). so when ever mr x place an order he gets some discount which i am maitaining in condition type k020 . so now i create a new material in the same sales area but i dont want to give Mr x any kind of discount.. not ever k020 disc.. how do i do this .. becoz by default this cus belongs to group A1.
Any solution ??

Hi jagadisha14,
              Well, in your case if you don't want to determine in all cases the condition type K020 when your c.p.g is A1 you should create a condition table for that condition type K020 with an additional field to distinguish for which materials you want the discount, this field can be the material pricing group or the material number or other, it should be a field with different value between these material, because the same result as now will be get.
Example:
Material XX             YY
MPG       B1             B2
So if you have a condition record for K020
CPG                A1
MPG                B1
The condition K020 will be only determine for material XX.
On other hand I don't think condition exclusion works in this case because it has other functionality.

Change customer Account Group

Hi Experts,
We have two different account groups with different number Ranges. When i try to change the customer account group from one to other through XD07 system given the following warning message.
Customer 600021 not in External Sold-to-Party
- number range 0000100001-0000199999
Message number F2691
We have tried to change this warning message in to Error message through OBMSG and OBA5
after that also system showing warning message.
Where we do mistake? is there any other process to do the changing message?

If You are trying to change the account group of a customer whose partner function is Sold-to-party.
Changes to the account group and the relevent partner functions only made from lower level to higher level.
Example:
Sold-to-party cannot be assigned the function of a payer(Higher level to lower level) because you are trying to change the higher level partner function.
Your can assign sold-to-party function to a payer (Lower level to higher level) because you are trying to change lower level partner function.

All,
Issue is fixed with the following steps.
- Make sure the Shipping Method has enabled the the option "Web Enabled"
- Login to EBS-Oracle and click on iStore Administrator responsibility
- Navigate to Shipping
- Add the shipping method which is activated 'Web ENabled' option to the current site.
In order to check the Shipping Methods fot the current site, check the outputs of the following SQLs.
Atleast 1 row should be identical from the following SQL output

Could not find Model while pointing to a custom Function Group

Do below things.
1. Re-import your Model.
2. Restart your J2ee server
3. Re-load & Rebuild your project.

Post Goods Receipt(PGI) with custom condition types on purchase order(PO)

Hi all,
I am trying to post goods receipt with custom conditions on the PO. One of the custom conditions is freight (delivery cost). The value on this condition will post to a different G/L account (freight provision account, rather than GR/IR).
My problem is, when posting this GR, the cost center assigned in the PO under 'account assignment' is not used for posting the custom condition, which I really need it to happen.
Simply put, I want all postings from this PO inherit values in 'account assignment'.
I have been looking into configurations in automatic posting and condition types, but I still have no clue where I can make it happen. Do I have to use BADI?

Delivey cost condition will be posted to accrual accounts not to the cost center.
