BAPI_SHIPMENT_CREATE Vehicle?

Hello everyone. I've faced the problem: in the set of parameters of FUNCTION BAPI_SHIPMENT_CREATE i can't find which exactly place to pass "VEHICLE" parameter (see transaction VT01N ). Does anyone have idea to solve this problem?

Vehicle Status at Shipment

Dear Gurus,
In LE we are not utilzing trip planning, just assign vehicle and driver on the shipment, I just required is there any standard functionality
where I can set a status of the vehicle, like if i press shipment start button on shipment vehicle change its status, now if i again assign the same vehicle to another shipment it will give us the message that vehicle is not available or any related message.
I only see the automatically PGI and billing functionality, like if i press shipment start system in back groud will process PGI.
Also suggest where i can maintain vehicle related status if it is a part of sd, or integrated with PM module.
Looking for the gurus response.

VELO uses actions to perform these things.
The actions is set up in config (SPRO) .
The SAP Standard actions is as follows;
OFFE (Create Qoutation)
CUOR (Create Sales Order)
DELI (Create Delivery)
GOIS (Create Goods Issue)
OUIV (Create Outgoing Invoice)

Issue in Creation of shipment with events using BAPI_SHIPMENT_CREATE

Hello experts,
I am trying to create shipments using BAPI_SHIPMENT_CRETAE for which data is provided in an excel.
The issue here is I have to create the events in shipment i.e., I need to fill the Further dates tab. But in this BAPI there is no such structure or field which can take the input and create an entry in this tab. Please let me know if we can do this using this BAPI .
Also let me know if there are any other bapi's for shipment creation or the only way is to go for BDC.

The BAPI_SHIPMENT_CREATE can't upload further dates, partners etc.
You can try below options.
1. Use BAPI to create basic shipment and update further dates data through BDC(VT02)
2. Create shipment using BDC(VT01)

Does anyone know of a work around for this problem? : iphone 5 will not work on Chryslers uconnect. I found out that they are working on it but have no ETA.   However, they will not help you if your vehicle is older thatn 2008.

Do not get an iphone 5 if you want to use it with a Chrysler product. The Chrysler Uconnect system might pair with your phone but the uconnect system will usually abend and become unusable after a few telephone conversations. I have been to the dealer twice. They have reset the uconnect system twice and I find it works for about 2 to 3 phone calls then it abends and uconnect becomes useless. They had me call Chrysler at 1-800-247-9753. I was told that the iphone five is not compatable at this time with any chrysler uconnect phone through the dash system, even the new vehicles. He had me get on this web site: www.uconnectphone.com as a place to monitor as when it would be compatable. They told me that Samsung seems to be working harder to make it compatible than apple is and they had no idea when it would begin to work. In effect Chrysler was telling me dump the iphone and get a Samsung if you want it to work in a Chrysler. Also, the site would only give you information for Chrysler that were 2008 or newer, they gave the following number to call if your vehicle was older.    I called that number and they told me that Chrysler and Uconnect had no plans at all to make the iphone 5 work, in the future, on any Chrysler older than 2008. So.......If you have a Chrysler or Dodge that is older than 2008 you will NEVER be able to use an iphone5 on the uconnect through the dash system.   Do not buy an iphone if you have an older vehicle. It will never be supported for the $1,000 you paid for this uconnect system on your car. My car is a 2005 Town and Country. I asked both Chrysler and uconnect if their was some sort of work around so I could use my phone. They both told me their was not and that they had no plans to resolve this situation for my vehicle. This means that I need to either get rid of my $42,000 vehicle with low milage or get rid of my Iphone 5. Niether are really good options.
I was also givne the following places to send formal complaints, even though I was told that neither Chrysler, Dodge or Apple were going to do anything to correct my problem:

This response is a little late as I just read about your problem. I have a 2012 Dodge Charger and a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country and both worked flawlessly with the iPhone 5s my wife and I had. However, we just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and Uconnect will receive calls but you cannot answer them. You can callout successfully, however. the annoyance being the inability to answer incoming calls in the HandsFree mode.

Custom device / I am trying to use a vehicle controller model developed in LabVIEW with compactRIO (cRIO-9024)

Now I have developed a vehile controller model with LabVIEW so as to run on VxWorks operating system. ( compactRIO cRIO-9024)
And I converted a controller model of labview into *.lvmodel in order to use it as I did with simulink models.
However, converted *.lvmodel was not supported for VxWorks operating system. so after searching for this, I found out that I have to use a custom device.
I am now studying the custom device, but it looks diffcult because I dont have much experience in real-time system.
Here are my questions.
1. Simulation model in VeriStand
Should I convert a labview controller model into *.lvmodel even if I use the custom device in order to run on VxWorks operating system?
If not, what should I do after building a controller model with labview?
2. Operating system
It is silly question. anyway, as long as I run a controller model on compactRIO cRIO-9024, the operating system always has to be set to VxWorks. Is it right?
3. Custom device
This is the most difficult thing. I dont know even what to do. What functions should be inside a custom device template tool? The controller model send output signals to a vehicle model, and receive input signals from a vehicle model.

Inventory aging report for vehicle parts

Hello Guys,
I need to prepare an inventory aging report for Vehicle parts.
We already have new vehice ad used vehicle's inventory aging reports created by somebody else.
I am very new to sap-bi.
I am very confused about designing same cz i checked with the fields ad they are a ittle different from the fields which are there in above two reports.
I have downloaded 0ic_c03 from business content but do not know how to prepare its datasource......
Please tell me how should i go about it.

IPhone 6 and Bluetooth phone connectivity issues with my vehicle: this is how I fixed it.

With so many threads on this topic, I wanted to detail the steps I took to fix my iPhone 6 Bluetooth issues regarding connectivity to my vehicle and handsfree calling. My phone was pairing with my vehicle without a problem and syncing my contacts and call history but when I attempted to make a call (from either the phone or the vehicle screen) the audio went out and I could not hear the call either through the vehicle speakers or on the phone. The call was going through but I was unable to see it on my vehicle screen and/or hear it either the phone or the vehicle screen.
Based on my research and what I have learned so far, the people having problems are those who restored their new iPhone 6 from an iCloud backup from a previous phone, rather than setting up their iPhone 6 as a new phone. I did an iCloud restore from my previous 5s running iOS 8.
First, I am a Verizon customer and I enabled Advanced Calling on my line. After I requested that this feature be added to my line, under “Cellular” settings on my iPhone, I enabled LTE voice & data.
Next steps:
1) Unpair/remove iPhone from the vehicle;
2) Forget/remove the vehicle from the phone Bluetooth settings;
3) Soft reset the iPhone;
4) Reset network settings on the iPhone; and
5) Pair the phone to the vehicle again and attempt to make a call.
If that does not work…
6) Perform a factory reset, erasing EVERYTHING from your phone and set it up as a new iPhone rather than restoring from a backup.
Resetting the network settings seems to be working for some people. It did not work for me. I tried it a few times with no result. I did the dreaded factory reset, paired the phone with my vehicle and had all of my Bluetooth functionality back and was able to use the handsfree phone with zero issues.
I was on the phone yesterday multiple times with Apple, Toyota Entune, Verizon and my Toyota dealer. Verizon blamed Toyota Entune, Toyota Entune blamed Verizon and my Toyota dealer blamed Apple. Nobody had a clue how to fix this issue or what was causing it. I don’t know the exact reason why the previous iCloud backups are killing the Bluetooth connections, I just know what worked for me and I thought it was worth sharing.

The new 8.0.2 update DID NOT FIX THIS ISSUE AT ALL. After you power off and on with the phone, same issue as the 8.0, all 3 of my cars lost Bluetooth connection and shows no signal at all. Good job Apple, what a lousy update you guys did.

Well, this question really belongs in the iTunes forum, which is where you will get fast answers.
Just go to iTunes Preferences. Click on the General icon. Set When you insert a CD to Ask to Import CD. Click on Import Settings. Set Import to MP3 decoder. Make sure you're using Good Quality.
This should deal with your CD's.
With your current music, as long as it does not have DRM restrictions (older iTunes Music did), select the song, right click on the song (or group of songs), pull down to Create MP3 version.

Gather up the proof that the dealership is the original purchaser of the iPad,
and take the iPad & that proof to a physical Apple store for possible assistance.

You can make use of IT1010 for tha assignment of resources by creating subtypes for the same IT. Also crate entries in the table T778W for the subtype you have created.
If you are looking for any icon display then i'm nor sure but you can place in SAP Note.

Does that mean statuses like In Warehouse, To Customer, or Shipped but not invoiced,to Shipyard?
or anything else? As per Action will the status get changed???

Available vehicle status

Is there any standard setting of the shipment, where if I trigger shipment start button, system automatically trigger the vehicle status from available vehicle to vehicle movement is in progress.
Currently we have manually status of the vehicle, and want system automatically set the status plus if vehicle is in movement than the same vehicles sould not be assign to any other shipment, till it will be avaialable.

ok. let's try:
the availability of a vehicle is changed by a VMS action that is executed.
This is caused by action matrix configuration in the VMS:
IMG -> logistics execution -> VMS -> control data -> define action controls ...
Here, select an action matrix (right side), and then click twice on the field "availability, locations and planned delivery" (left side).

Note: when definining the action matrices for the availability, make sure that the availability is not unforeseen overwritten by other actions. The best way is to define the availibility only by one matrix, as long as the actions of assigned matrices to the vehicle model don't interfere with each other in regards to the availability.

Best Buy's Vehicle Fit guide question

I want to install a car stereo in my 2007 ford explorer 4 door, heres the stereo I want to install,

It said it would fit, then I checked again a while later, and it said it doesn't fit, I don't get this, I heard their fit guide is very inaccurate, does it fit? I hope so, any help would be great. I actually ordered it off another site for 185 dollars, much cheaper than what best buy wanted, and this is just the stereo, instalation is another 90 bucks I believe.
Just to mention one thing, best buy wouldn't let me post the message because it said "The message body contains ______, which is not permitted in this community. Please remove this content before sending your post." Weird. I can't type the word out, it won't let me post if I do, but a hint, its the name of a rain forest in brazil.
