Barcode BC_CD39

Hello Every,
I am trying to copy the Barcode BC_CD39 to reduce the size of the Barcode. Can someone tell me how to do that.

Barcode BC_CD39 not found for Adobe forms

Hi All,
There is a BARCODE format BC_CD39 that we use in SAP Script for printing barcodes.
In Adobe forms, BARCODES are classified on their technical bar code names. following link is the reference to the same.

The corresponding technical Bar Code name for BC_CD39 is Code 39. But we are not able to see that in the Adobe Layout designer.
Is there an alternative to this. We need to replicate excatly what is there in SAP Script(BC_CD39).
Please advise.

First Check your barcode in this Path.
Start->Run
C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Designer\EN\Objects\
Or
We Can download the barcode definitions from SAP (i.e. from SE73) and upload to the location you as i mentioned in the path.

Create the character format in se71, in that select standard barcode. like
Char.format: C1 Description: Barcode
Barcode: BC_CD39 save the character format.
you can select from the list.
in the form coding, can you use barcode like
<C1> program variablr <>.
<C1> &itab-matnr <>. "--->like this
Then it shows the barcode in output.
check this.
2. for vertical text ..
if this is a window text then its possible but

This is possible in giving the window name but in the layout i never tried this.
If u can tell the scenario(with data reference) then may be i can try but not sure that this will give me hit.

Label printing issues in Sapscript

We are struggling with building a new label for a finished good. On previous labels we used barcode BC_CD39. This new label requires a mix of same barcode and 2D barcode. One of the issues is BC_CD39 is it is too big at 13mm. So we want to use CD39__00 which is 5mm. We have gone into SPAD and SE73 and we think we have this set up to work on the two printers involved. We have also followed instructions for 2D in 197177 for adding new small font. We also have a logo for printing. When I print the printout does not have the smaller barcode, any text in smaller font and the logo is missing. I went into the spooler yesterday and these prints are getting an error (unknown print control should be output) that is talked about in note 17559. And when I look at the print preview I have a logo and different size fonts and smaller barcodes showing- basically all the stuff that is missing from the actual print. Has anyone else run into this and how have you resolved this? I am not sure what the spooler does not like. We are using a Printronix T5000e series printer.
The spooler error reads: character converter active when first problem occurred
Data was saved with character set 1100
Data will be converted to character set 9010 (synt = 9010)
and then it gives the OTF error mentioned above.
Our latest attempt is downloading tru fonts and getting them into the printer. Still no success and now the labels are not even printing.

We continue with not being able to print this label correctly. If I do a screen shot I can see I have varying fonts on the label. But it completely ignores the various fonts on printing.
Our pirnter is a Printronix label printer.
My form is defined as landscape.
I get a spool error when printing that character set 1100 is being converted to character set 9010, which is custom for Printronix.
If we print on legal form vs the label form it prints fine.
We have tried different print drivers but nothng seems to get these fonts out.
We are using 5MM 3by9 barcodes.
This product is about to 'go live' and we really want to print this from SAP vs an external label software program. If we use an external label program separate from SAP it can print perfectly on same label printer.
We welcome any suggestions.

Can you provide the information how you declared the style for bar code and the font family for that bar code.
and also provide the deceleration in the smart form if possible with screen shot.

Barcode is not getting printed in the SmartForm

Hi All,
I am trying to print BARCODE in a SMARTFORM but it is not getting printed.
I have created a barcode ZTest_Barcode from the transaction SE73. Then I have created a Character Format C1 with this barcode ZTest_Barcode.
In the SmartForm I have applied this character format like this <C1>&WA_VBAK-VBELN&</C1>.
But in the preview of this SmartForm barcode is not getting printed while this field is printing like <C1>220<C1>.
I have also tried with some SAP barcodes like BC_CD39, C128A_01, etc. But the result is same.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

Printing QR codes and Barcodes together

Dear All,
I have referred the following link to print QR code as a post script:

While printing my SAP Script/ SMARTFORM output on any printer, if I specify output device as ZBWIPP then QR code is being printed perfectly, but barcodes (Which are already there in script and are expected to be there) are not being printed at all. When the output is printed without specifying any output device, then only barcodes are being printed and not the QR code.
I have tried adding print controls ZBW01, ZBW02, ZBW09 and ZBW91 to the output type of printer, even then QR code is not being printed.
I request your advice and help on how to get QR code and barcodes printed together. Thank you.

P.S. These existing barcodes are of type BC_CD39, not post script barcodes.

So far I have been able to export the data using OLE calls, created a chart object,.

1. How to put Data Lables
2. How to put Data Table under the Chart

Unable to print barcodes

Hi Gurus,
I have to print a bar code in production order ..i have arranged the data to print in bar code format .
But the bar code is not visible in print preview and in print .
I have assigned a char type of bar code BC_CD39 and assigned to the data element .but nothing is appearing in form.
note that i same text in bar code is printed below it without bar code format and is getting displayed ..
P.S i have searched enough in SDN and tried out many things ..

Barcode printing in 4.7 possible or not ?

We are working in 4.7 environment .We want to generate the barcode in a script for an invoice number. I heard from some of my friends that barcode printing is not supported in a script from 4.7 .In 4.7 we need to use a smart form for that.Please let me know if it the same or not ?

Hi Jyothi,
Whether it script or smartform it is possible.
If it script then create a character format in that character format select
which barcode you want to print generally everybody use bc_cd39 i.e. code 39
else ask your client which barcode they need or else if in any form they are getting the print consider the barcode from that form.
after selecting the barcode in the character format
in the window where you want to show the barcode write as
<C1>& & </>
in first angular brackets give your character format you created here like i am taking c1
and in between the place holders give the field name of your invoice number.

Printing of Barcode makes problem

I am trying to print barcode in my script. I assigned barcode font to the numbers which I want in the form of barcode, I am able to see barcode in the print preview and its printing in the offshore system.
but when the user test it from onsite the same system, he/she can able to see only the value not the barcode.
The barcod which i used is 'BC_CD39'.
For other forms with same barcode, it is printing, but our form unable to print and print preview

is the printer TORRSBU04.

Increasing Barcode Hieght

Hi guys Iam facing as problem in increasing the Size of the Barcode using SAP Script.
Can any one please help me out how to do increase the height of the Barcode.
When I tried using different Barcode Format its printing the same and sometimes throwing error.
Now iam using BC_CD39 Barcode Format.
Is there any thing do i have to do in Printer Settings or do i have to upload any Barcode Font to SAP System.
Please Help me out. Required guru's help asap.

How to find the Adobe barcode name for its corresponding SAP Script barcode

Dear All,
We are doing conversions from SAPScript to Adobe forms.
The barcode used in two sapscript forms are 'BC_CD39' and 'ARTINR' respectively .
I would like to know the corresponding barcode name to be assigned to Adobe forms as the above barcode names are not present in the Object Library-> Barcode section of Adobe forms.

NACE is the transaction ..for this u must know the output type..
Script for Cheque Printing and Payment Advice can be known from Transaction FBZP...
FBZP -> paying Company Codes -> u will get Script used for Payment Advice
FBZP -> Pmnt methods in company code -> u will get Script used for Cheque Print
....Give points if useful.....

BARCODE for labels

Hi
I want to print labels with some barcode i amusing BC_CD39.
It has standard width of 5CM. How do i reduce the barcode width to fit in the width of the window

Hi,
To Change the Width of the Barcode.
Goto---> se73 from where you have create the barcode.
There Highlight the barcode and click on the change.
Then you can change the height and width of the barcode.
Check it.
