Barcode pritner issue in smartform printing

Dear Experts,
I have problem with barcode printing. I have only one page in my smartform and there is table in that. I need to print delivery number as barcode. I have writtern logic for that and its working fine. But when I print my output in BARCODING printer, the delivery number is printing as barcode properly but rest of all characters also printing as barcode. Every thing in the output is appearing as all barcodes. I can not see any data in the output all are barcodes only.
Could you please help me on this issues.

After upgrade from 4.6 C to ECC6, we are facing a problem. A form printout displays the character ~ above the actual text.
for ex the 0 ~ 25 is getting printed as the sign ~ coming a bit above both 0 and 25.
Kindly advice if anyone is having idea about the reason and possible solution.

I checked smartstyle, but it was ok, superscript not checked. Also I checked in internal table while debugging, data was coming correctly as 0 ~ 25. In printout and print preview the sign ~ appeared above 0 and 25 instead of in middle.

Smartform Printing on both sides

Hi.
I am fasing an issue in smartform printing.
we are printing the Invoice.this invoice data is dynamically comming on the front side of the page.
and printing normally.
but back side of the page they want to print the comapany rules(on every page back side).(these rules are comming with in one page only).
so on the front side this invoice data and back side Comapany rules shouls come.(we don't know how many pages of invoice data will come).
Plesae help me to solve this issue.

HI Eswar,
If you have only one page made in your smartform you can make one more page with just the main wiindow.This window will have all the rules of the company.Now make the first page point to this page and make this page point to the first page.
Select duplex printing in the page attributes and print.This will solve the issue.

Total pages printed issue in Smartforms

Hi,
I have small issues in Smartforms,
I wm working for Check Printing in Smartforms. Here after printed the various checks i am printing the summary report, here i printede the details of total transactions and total printed pages.
If i have more than once page in single check (like overflow pages) that also need to be calculted in the count.
In the forms i declared &SFSY-FORMPAGES& but its not calculating overflow pages.
Please guide me about this issue.

I downloaded CS6 and am having issues with my print driver. It is not compatible with the HP 2600n and have tried to download drivers given to me by adobe ( (Jupiter 3) but it is not working. after a few days. Its a temporary fix and is still looking for

What type of troubleshooting were we able to do with you? I want to make sure that we can get some sort of resolution for this problem.
It is quite possible the battery door may get your phone in working order again. I'm not sure if the store has it in stock, but it is available in our warehouse for $14.99 which can be ordered via customer service.

Open port issues with Direct Print functionality

Hi, I have been fighting with HP call support about the Photosmart 7525 printer.
Originally I setup and had performed all the functions to enable both web support and WIFI.
Within an hour the printer would not respond to wireless communication, though it had its wireless indecator showing it was connected.
I was told by HP support that the issue will be resolved in March, as there will be a firmware update to fix the issue.
Now that I had the printer install the new firmware I still get the issue.
Though I found through some sniffing, that there are a number of ports enabled and open that are over and beyond print requirements.
Funny thing I can send my printer into instant lockup with all lights flashing with a simple UDP ping sniff. I would think I can do this with other new HP printers using Eprint functions. I will find HP web based printers that are open for public printing and test my theory that HP Eprinters are open to hacking and denyal of service attempts. My Hp print app on andriod list three in my area, and one is at my local Walmart. This would be cool to find this, as I am usually not the first to point such matters out.
I assume some are for Apple devices to print.

OK now I am able to run a full scan on TCP ports without causing a lock up of the printer.
I found that having the printer connect to a router that has been setup to use channel 5, 6 or 7 will cause port scanning issues with the printer.
It is obvious that there are 18 ports that are seen as open, whether they are used or not. Two of which are active but have no service connected to them. Some are just dead like port 25, but over half are active enough to recieve data and lock network connectivity within the printer.
As the firmware states some other laser jets may be affected depending on how the configuration can be set.
I moved my routers channel to channel 1 as it is the only other option I have in a highly congested location. It is not as good as channel 6, but the printer seems to have channel 6 locked in for direct printing.
Here is the latest full scan with UDP enabled, it is the furthest and most complete scan I am able to complete, with UDP ports enabled. The TCP port scan has a bit more and I have placed a simple list below the information given here:

Issues with Form printing using a 3rd party software!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

We are printing our month end AR statements using Xerox DP100 printers. We are using a SAP Script as the layout form. Everything works perfectly alright when a direct print is issued to the printer. But the scenario here is the statements are sent to a 3rd party software so that the statements can be saved in their repository and made available to be viewed and printed whenever necessary. Now the issue is when this 3rd Party Software(TPS) reads the SAP generated PCL from its report store on the unix host and generates a PDF File that it presents to the web client user for (re)printing via his/her PC it appears that the TPS or Websphere or Adobe is performing a font substituion - replacing the Univers font(used in R/3) which is not loaded on the unix host with a different font(with different sizing and/or behavior).
As a result the horizontal and vertical positioning generated by SAP(which is correct for the Univers font) is 'wrong' for the substituted font. The fixed size fields print OK but gradually move to the right. The varying size amount columns do not align correctly and fall off the right side of the page.
Can anyone give me pointers on what can be done to arrest this error.
Does the font need to be loaded on the unix host or the font used in the form be changed?

Sap script behaves differently for different printers. You will have to change margins when you change your printer/software accordingly.

Performance issues -- related to printing

Hi All,
I am haviing production system performance issues related to printing. endusers are telling the printing is slow for almost printers. We are having more that 40 to 50 printers in landscape.
As per my primary investigation I didnt find any issues in TSP01 & TSP02 tables. But I can see the table TST01 and TST03 table having many number of entries (more that lakh). I dont have idead about this table. Is ther eany thing related to this table where the print causes slowness or any other factors also makes this printing issue .. Please advice ..

TemSe cannot administer objects that require more than two gigabytes of storage space, regardless of whether the objects are stored in the database or in the file system. Spool requests of a size greater than two gigabytes must therefore be split into several smaller requests.
It is enough if you perform the regular background jobs and Temse consistency checks for the tables.
This will help in controlling the capacity problems.
If you change the profile parameter rspo/store_location parameter value to 'G' this will make the performance better. The disadvantages are TemSe data must be backed up and restored separately from the database using operating system tools, In the event of problems, it can be difficult to restore consistency between the data held in files and the TemSeu2019s object management in the database. Also you have take care of the Hard disk requirements because in some cases, spool data may occupy several hundred megabytes of disk storage. If you use the G option, you must ensure that enough free disk space is available for spool data.

Hyperlink issue in Smartform PDF

I am facing below issue with Smartform after it converted to PDF. The PDF file has below link
(http://www.vocakiri.co.uk/_assets/media/StandardTC3_(including_REG_31_Requirements).pdf) in footer window.
But when i am selecting the hyperlink it is getting truncated as "http://www.vocakiri.co.uk/_assets/media/StandardTC3_" .it opens window with truncated
web address which leads to error.
could you please let me know what is the problem or is there any note need to be applied.

You can try using the callback method described in the following Notes:

You can get a different title of the link by using a kind of user exit for the URL processing, which is described in Note 622718.
You must create your own function module with the following interface:

Issue in Duplex Printing in Acrobat 9 Pro

Hi,
I have issues in duplex printing it comes out inverted. 1 side is correct and the other side is in the other direction.
Im using windows 7 and an HP 8500 wireless. Microsoft word is working fine so im assuming the printer driver is working ok.

Smartform printing on Dot Matrix printer for continuous stationery

Hi Friends,
I'm throwing my smartform print output on printer using local printer .Now the problem is as i have designed the SF using A4 page size , the output on Dot matrix is my output (WHICH IS 1/3rd OF a PAGE) + rest of empty space which is actually wasting pages.
Settings in SPAD are as follows:
Output device : Lp01
Device type : SWIN
and page format : LINE_21
Format Type : LINE_21
What i want is a restricted output .please let me know the possible solutions and do i need to load the driver for my printer in SAP as well (Printer is : wipro WEP 800 DX)

Hi ,
You just need to install the software comes with the barcode scanner in the local PC and while reading you have to put the cursor on the field like inputfield . a barcode when interpreted by scanner is nothing but alphanumeric words.

Smartform Printing through Batch Job

Hi
Please help in the following issue :
We have a report thourgh which say 10 pages needs to be printed.
On eachpage we have page numbers like 1 of 10, 2 of 10 etc. and on the last page 10 of 10 will be printed.
when the report is executed in foreground, the rints are perfect s expected. But when the same report is executed through Batch Job, the pages are being printed as 1 of &&, 2 of && etc, when it come to last page the print is 10 of 10.
So, thr Batch job the last page of the print is OK, except all other pages, the issue is only printing this page nos.
Please advise.

Smartform printing & sending multyple table data

Hi All..
I designed a smartform & print Pgm.( for Invoice not SAP standard)
How can i send multiple table(kna1,vbrk,vbrp,vbdk) data in to a smart form? & how can i declare that internal table in smart form & in print pgm?
And it is also not printing.even i set it in NACE.
Plz any one can help me asap..

Hi Raj,
You must have to create a new Structure and a new TABLE TYPE in program to send multiple data.
Lets say, you have created Main internal table in your print program to send multiple data to smartforms as below.
TYPES: BEGIN OF ty_cus,
          F1,
          F2,
          F3,
          F4,
       END OF ty_cus.
so, instead defining above types in your program, just create a new structure(lets say Z_CUS) with the above fields in SE11.
Then create new TABLE TYPE (ZT_CUS) with that structure (Z_CUS).
Now, in your print program, create internal table with the type of Z_CUS as below.
DATA: it_cus TYPE TABLE TYPE z_cus,
      wa_cus TYPE z_cus.
And in the Layout, Form interface - Tables section give it as below
IS_CUS    TYPE   ZT_CUS.
In your print program, assign your internal table to IS_CUS for generated function module.
CALL FUNCTION fm_module.
EXPORTING
IMPORTING
TABLES
   IS_CUS   = it_cus
EXCEPTIONS
