Ich arbeite mit PSE 4 und da jetzt Fasching ist, wollte ich ein paar lustige Gesichtsveränderungen in Form von künst. Bärten, Perücken, Brillen, Hüten etc vornehmen.
Mir ist schon klar, dass ich mit dem Freistellwerkzeug und Ebenen mit zusätzlichen Bildern diese mit PSE 4 dies selber machen könnte, aber gehts auch einfacher ??
Gibt es irgendwo im Internet fertige Vorlagen (in etwa wie "eigene Formen" in PSE 4 wo es ja auch Bärte, Brillen etc gibt), die man in PSE importieren/plazieren könnte. Am besten wären natürlich fertige GIF Bilder mit Transparenthintergrund.
Die Vorlagen "Eigene Formen" sind zuwenig echt.
Für jeden (Faschings)Tipp wäre ich dankbar

geh mal in den DiaShow-Editor. Dort findest du Berge von "echten" Bärten, Hüten usw., die man in die Bilder durch einfaches Ziehen einfügt. Genau das, was du suchst...

How are you going to use the Contact Sheet? If you are not printing, but using your screen or website, you can use your file browser to simulate the Contact Sheet. In Windows > File Explorer, choose large icons, and zoom in or out with Ctrl Mouse Wheel.

Automating the installation process,creating the database, creating tables etc at the

We have a requirement to install oracle 8.1.6 on solaris box. The whole installtion process should be automated. This process includes changing the kernel parameters, creating the oracle account as per the installation guide, configuring the logical volumes, creating the database as per OFA recommendations, creating tables etc. How can i do this with out any interaction from user. Can the Oracle software packager handle all these. Please Let me know ASAP.

The full retail should be white with a snow leopard on it but if you ordered from the on-line store you should be fine. If it is having problems booting while holding the C key, try restarting the computer but this time hold the Option key.
That will bring up a grey screen with the image of the Macintosh HD and an image of the CD. Click the image of the CD and let it boot that way.
Once booted, go through the install proceedure, choose language, etc. Still using the same CD but let's see if for some reason it does not like the way it is being told to boot.

Pooling, SOAP, etc...

We have a situation where we developed an app for a customer and they were experiencing problems with connection times.
We tweaked the connection pooling code in Nco 1.x, and now they are running into problems with "maximum conversations exceeeded". We're resolving that currently, but they may want to move to 2.0.
If we do that, does anyone see significant advantage to using SOAP to do our calls. We do quite a few calls per transaction to read data, etc.

Both versions, 1.x and 2.0 support both features RFC/Soap and RFC connection pooling. In both areas version 2.0 just has some enhancements. The decision to use Soap or RFC usually depends on questions:
- Is there a Firewall between client and server that only supports Soap.
- Is the app performance critical? Usually RFC is significantly faster than Soap.

Multiple charges for single text message, 10 cents per minute plan

I have a Go Phone, 10 cents per minute plan, which shows text messages should be charged at 20 cents per msg. However, I am getting charged multiple times on each text message. The most recent was a message of approx 100 words, billed 4 times at 20 cents. AT&T Billing site shows four consecutive charges for this as a SMS Originating, Local message, each one 20 cents. Is my plan really 20 cents per message or is it a charge per number of characters, words, etc.?

A standard text message or SMS is limited to 160 characters (including spaces and punctuation), so when sending a message longer than that, it actually gets broken up into however many 160 character massages it takes. In your case it sounds like there were 4 messages.
Most phones will split and then combine messages together automatically when sending and receiving to keep their intended formatting, so it may not always be clear how many messages it actually takes. Many phones have a character counter built in to help with some of that confusion, it may need to be turned on in the settings.

If you want to check the records daily instead of checking the data in R/3 manually ......
You can try this...
If you have staging DSO(level 1) that means whatever data is in source system load it to Staging DSO without any routines or any modifications.
Now load this DSO data to Cube or DSO(level 2) as per your requirement with routines etc.
Now Staging DSO contains Source system data.
Now the level 2 Cube or DSO contains BW data with some modifications.
Now create a Multiprovider based on level 1 and level 2 data targets.
Now create a report on which keyfigures you want to test the data.
In Multiprovider there is a field called 0infoprovider in data packet dimension.
you can drag this infoprovider to the columns and restict your keyfigures with level 1 and level 2 data targets.
In the first column you can see the level 1 DSO data ( source system data),in the 2nd column you can see the BW data.
Now create a formula which gives the diffrence b/n level 1 and level2.
that is R/3 data - BW data.
If the diffrence is zero both R/3 and BW data are same.
if the diffrence is not eqaul to zero check whether any routine is there or not.

Unable to capture alerts in alert inbox

Hello,
I'm working on a simple BPM that sends out an alert via a control step. I have completed the setup as per SAP help/notes/blogs/etc and have seen the alerts being generated in applications log - trxn code slg1. I have also setup alert rules for error conditions and see alerts generated we I change logon info to an incorrect value in my channels.
However these are being forwarded to some other sever and not showing up in my alert inbox.
Everything (The XI and the Alert framework ) are setup on the same webAS instance and the RFC destination for the central alert server is set to NONE in salrt1. The ICF service alert_test_xml is de-activated as well.
Is there anything I'm missing.

In MCI4, MCI5 ,MCI7 we can not select specified date to check analysis (only month option is available). Please advice is there any other way to find day wise analysis or need to develop the Z repot.

Adobe in design cs2 crashes before it can open - Please HELP!!

Dear Wise ones:
I have been using my ID CS2 for years and all of a sudden I went to open it one day and it crashed before it opened. I tried this several times, sent crash reports to Adobe but when there was no response from them I decided to try to reinstall the suite.   I did this according to the instructions (deleted the files/folders as per the instructions, uninstallled acrobat etc), then tried to open the newly re-installed InDesign but it CRASHED again. I called Adobe today and after being on hold for 35 minutes was told they could not help me with CS2 and I should try the forum so here I am.

Please please help me. I have a show that opens in the beginning of March and I depend on In Design to make my artwork.

To me this implies something wrong with a plugin or a system library. Did you delete InDesign and your ~/Library/Adobe/InDesign folders before re-installing? Otherwise there might be something wrong with your OS...

Bar Charts with Non-Stacked Subgroups

I'm trying to create a report in CR2008 for my elementary school principals that will display how many students received a specific grade each of the three marking periods (T1, T2, and T3) per grade level per subject area (Math, PE, etc.). I was able to do this with a separate chart for each marking period, but would like to combine the charts into a single chart that has the grades (such as ADV, PRO, or BLB) across the bottom, and has the trimester scores as subgroups, so it looks something like this:

Each of the grades would have three subgroups (bars) representing the three trimesters. The y-axis scale would be the count of students who received each grade, with the maximum value set to the total number of active students at the end of the year (plus a small fudge factor in case the T3 enrollment is smaller than the T1 or T2 enrollment).
The database (SQL Server 2005) I'm pulling from has table I'll call Grades; it's joined to a table called Students to get the grade level. Each record in Grades has the following data in it (names have been changed to make them make more sense here, and only relevant fields are shown):
StudentID, CourseNum, Section, T1_Active, T1_Grade, T2_Active, T2_Grade, T3_Active, T3_Grade
If a student was enrolled in a specific CourseNum and Section at the end of a marking period, the XX_Active field will be "A"; if it's not, it should be skipped in the counting. Because of this it is very possible that the count for a specific grade/trimester is zero, especially at the outliers (ADV and BLB).
In Chart Expert >> Data >> Advanced, the current charts are set up using:
On change of Grade.T1_Grade
Show value(s): Count of Grade.T1_Grade
(Substitute T2 or T3 for the second and third charts.) Unfortunately, I have no clue what to choose for these values to get a combined chart.
My questions:
1) Does CR support bar graphs with subgroups that aren't stacked? Does it support having three subgroups?
2a) If so, what would be my next step to making this work? Is the secret in running totals, formulas, arrays, or something else? Maybe creating a view in the database that rearranges the data to make it easier to work with?
2b) If CR doesn't support this directly, would it be worth while to fake it with six separate bar charts u2013 a chart just for ADV next to a chart just for PRO+, etc. u2013 or would the performance penalty be too much? Would I need to have them each in their own subreport, or could they all live on the same level? Is this the way I'd need to go if I also wanted to put trend lines over or above each letter grade group?

If you can create a view, that would be very helpful, by making the view, you are pushing some of the work to the
server, so... "Hopefully" the report will be quicker. I don't think making six seperate charts would be all that much load on the
server, or cr. If you do that, would you stack the charts? and just make the top stacks with Transparent backgrounds?
Rather than add a view on the server u2013 there's talk that the next version of the gradebook program will completely refactor the database u2013 I did a SQL Command (I can't remember where I read about that tip over the last couple of feverish days, but my hat's off and I owe someone a frosty adult beverage!) that created a simplified table. I then used that to create a Cross-Tab (my original report approximated one using a whole bunch of Running Totals).
I then tried to make the chart, and got completely frustrated u2013 again u2013 until I accidentally created a chart from the Cross-Tab (right-click on the Cross-Tab and choose Insert Chart ). I had no idea you could do that, and it ended up being exactly what I wanted.
I have CRXI, if you go to the Sample reports, you will see one called Chart.rpt, this has multiple examples of some of the
charts you can create. Perhaps a 3D riser chart would meet your requirements. HTH If not, can you provide some different samples?
I would have never thought to look for the samples. Thank you! Now that I've got my immediate problem solved it's time to look at the samples and see what possibilities exist for future reports.

Firefox with multiple system accounts: solutions or alternatives?

The subject isn't exactly clear but I couldn't think of a good way to summarize the issue.
I want to share a subset of Firefox bookmarks, extensions, settings and search plugins across different system accounts.
For example, I have a bookmark hierarchy with directories named foo, bar and baz. I want to keep bar and baz synchronized across multiple accounts but I want foo to remain private for a given account. I want to have extensions x, y and z installed on all accounts with the same settings, but I want extension w only on one account.
General and plugin settings are easy enough to do with user.js.
Interface settings, extensions and search plugins can be shared with some scripting and rsyncing but that's a minor pain.
Sharing a subset of bookmarks is major pain. Either I have to automatically export HTML bookmarks files, write a parser, copy the subset around, import it manually with each account, and finally arrange the imported bookmarks in the hierarchy or I have to open each account in the same X session and copy+paste bookmarks between accounts.
I could probably write a script to extract and insert what I want in places.sqlite3, but I don't want to rely on the stability of the database format with the new release plan.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Firefox Sync is not an option because I do not want to share everything.
At this point I'm open to alternatives, but there is some functionality that I'm not willing to give up:
* NoScript (per-site Javascript and Flash blocking)
* RequestPolicy (per-site permissions for loading content from other sites)
* Cookie Monster (per-site cookie permissions)
* Add to Search Bar (easily add any search form to the search bar)
* Organize Search Engines (create hierarchical structures of aforementioned search engines)
I've started considering Chrome but the matching extensions don't seem to be mature enough yet (e.g. Request Maker is based on RequestPolicy, but the author admits it lacks features). Besides, I don't really want to rely on the Google apps store if I can avoid it.
I looked at uzbl too, but the script-blocking scripts apparently fail sometimes because uzbl lacks hooks. An unreliable script-blocker is a no-go for me.
tl:dr; need suggestions for something that lets me:
* control outgoing requests from browser
* control code execution in browser
* synchronize subsets of bookmarks, extensions, search engines
* organize bookmarks and search engines
p.s. Life would be so much easier if Firefox didn't pack shit into SQLite databases like it was playing Tetris. Just give me some decent command-line options and simple configuration file formats ffs.

This did give me an idea... I could just as well write a basic server to host my bookmarks and run that as a daemon.
As for the suggestions so far:
* Pentadactyl: I'll look into it, but installing it would be a bit like buying a car just for the seat.
* Xmarks: that might do what I want, but I don't like the idea of storing all of my bookmarks on a third-party server and I definitely don't want to let them collect data about me as per their ToS.
* xxxterm etc.: I'll look into those.

QOS configuration - Is there a way to prevent marking SIP signaling as media

I have configured QOS for Lync 2013 per all the documenation, blogs, etc.
While reviewing network captures to make sure it is working, I noticed something: normal SIP signaling traffic from the Lync servers to port 5067 uses random source ports, and when those source ports fall into the ranges defined for media, gets marked
as if it was media traffic. This is over-prioritizing: marking SIP signaling traffic with a higher DSCP than is warranted.
Any way to prevent this?

The two main methods are marking source ports or marking anything coming from the service executables with a DSCP value. Sometimes SIP signaling traffic will fall into the source range, and it will always come from the service executable. You
can't force only signaling to use a set range source ports, so there's not too much you can do. That being said, SIP signaling traffic is generally negligible compared to the media traffic so I generally just let it be.

Polling DB Adapter error in Jdev 11.1.1.5

I have a table on a schema in an XE database which I am trying to poll. One of the columns in the database is of a VARRAY Collection Type.
I go through the Database Adapter Wizard steps as per usual, importing the table etc etc. However, when I get to choosing the 'After Read' operation, whenever I choose the first one, 'Delete the Row(s) that were read' which is always selected by default, I am unable to press 'Next' and get on to the next screen/step in the wizard. Clicking on the operation radio button again then gives the following error message:

I then choose the 'Logical Delete' option as an alternative. This allows me to get past the current screen and on to the next one. However, I am then unable to get past the 'Logical Delete' option screen.
I am not sure why it is doing this. I have successfully created DB Adapters before that call stored procedures with VARRAY Collection Types defined and I have also created polling adapters for tables with normal datatypes (string, integer, boolean) successfully before. This is the first time I am polling a table with a VARRAY Collection Type column and am wondering whether anyone has experienced this before or whether they could give this a try to see what the error is and how to resolve it please?
I have installed Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5 locally along with XE database. Have tried in 11.1.1.3 Jdeveloper and it works OK, but it doesn't work in 11.1.1.4 either.

I encountered the same problem and found the following workaround:
1. Create a copy of the table without the collection type column.
2. Go through the Database Adapter Wizard and finish it normally.
3. Next, modify the created Dataabse Adapter but now select the original table with the collection type column.
4. You should now be able to finish the wizard without any problems.
