In pricing procedure I want to know what is the base used for selecting the fields in access sequence.
What are the situation in which there will be different fields in pricing procedure ?

the base for selecting fields to be used in an access sequence is how the business wants to define their prices.
this can be just a fix price for a material number
and a surcharge (or maybe rebate) per product group
and a freight charge based on Incoterms plant and destination country combination
any of these examples would have different fields

I have a requirement for doing some additional validation for one of the fields in down payment request
(F-47) .
I need to validate a field u2018Assignmentu2019 in the down payment request .
Here, assignment field is mandatory and user has to enter a valid contract number. Then we have to validate the contract number entered against the tracking number field (BEDNR) in EKPO table corresponding to the vendor.
If the contract number entered is incorrect, then system displays a message with the valid contract number. The user can modify the assignment field with this contract number. Once the field is modified, system once again validates whether the contract number entered is valid.
Can you please provide me your valuable inputs how to achieve this.

HT4059 I store drawings on IBooks for use in the field. Is there a maximum storage amount ? I have not been able to download additional drawings lately.

I store drawings in I books for use in the field, which comes in very handy. Lately I haven't been able to download anymore drawings or PDF's to IBooks. Is there a storage limit?

I have done this on numerous occasions but I think that my Iphone has a defect. After many tries, reinstalls, deletion of content, changing content to be stored on external hard drive, deleting itunes and cleaning computer I managed to get all of the songs on and things seemed okay for a while.
The problem returned about a week ago after downloading a new album from Itunes. I now have 12.5k of songs leaving 10gb spare on Iphone which should be more than enough room to operate properly. Last night it seemed to be dowloading ok (after doing all of the above again for the umpteenth time) this morning it revealed that it had just synched 2.5k of songs and 18gb of "other" on the contents bar. it wont synch now as it says its over capacity. So the 18gb of "other" would probably be corrupted data that means it must corrupt each song as it tries to synch it.
The 2.5k of songs it did synch are working on the Iphone as is every song in the library on Itunes. I did completely delete the new album I bought and redownloaded it from the store then tried to synch just that album and it worked fine.
Just about time to dump apple I think!

Just downloaded OS X Lion. Now, there's no curser bar to scroll up or down for any of the pages I access....if I use the keyboard arrows for up/down, there is a temporary scroll bar, however it disappears after a few moments. Help!!

Go to System Preferences->General. There you can set how you wamt thescrool bars to behave.
If you want to see the scrool bars all the time select Always

If this indicator is set, the material is costed using costing with a quantity structure (BOM and routing).
The system searches for any existing cost estimates with quantity structure for the individual materials; it ignores existing cost estimates without quantity structure. If the system does not find any valid costing data for the materials, it costs the material or accesses the price in the material master.
If this indicator is not set, the planned costs for the material are calculated using the cost estimate without quantity structure. In this case, you use unit costing to create the quantity structure manually by entering costing items for materials and activity types, for example.
The system now searches for any existing cost estimates without quantity structure. If a cost estimate without quantity structure exists for a material, the results of this cost estimate are included in a cost estimate with quantity structure. If there is no cost estimate without quantity structure, the cost estimate with quantity structure accesses the price in the material master record. The planned costs for this material then go into the cost estimate with quantity structure as raw material costs.
This does not apply if the indicator Ignore prod cost est w/o qty structure is set in the costing variant.

Best laptop for p2 in the field?

I own a hvx200 and my current lap top is to slow to view my up loaded clips. Can anyone recommend (specs) the best lap top for the money so I can even do a little editing in the field?

For externals, I've got a FW-800 ExpressCard in the slot, and it handles either independent streams to 2 Maxtor 1.5TB units, or dasiy-chained from one connection. I have not done any tests to see if hooking the 2 units with either config., makes a difference in data transfer. Would imagine that the card, itself, would be the bottleneck. Only complaint that I have is the little card's connectors sticking out so far. Also, cables are pushed-in to connect AND to disconnect. The card is pushed-in to connect, so care must be taken, when attaching the cable, to NOT disconnect the card. Other than that, it has been flawless. Also, the BIOS saw the card and the FW-800 connections perfectly, so no drivers, etc. Has 4x USB2, and 1x mini-FW-400, plus wirelss N and gigabit LAN, if you're going to a NAS.
Only had my unit for about 5 mos., so it's still in shake-down, but has been very stable and efficient, or I would not have made the rec.

can someone help me how to add these fields in acess sequence i was able to add condiion table in access sequence but it does't show any fields.

Go to acessseqence and then select the particular table which u have added or ammended select the table and click feilds tab and after u go in to feilds select each feild and press enter and save do this for evry line in each field and after completing
evry feild save and exit ....ur problem will be solved otherwise
AccessSequence -> select table -> click on fields -> select the field with error and click on field catalog .
From there select the field name manually and save .

Changing the dropdown values for one of the fields in CHECK STATUS query

Hi,
We are on SRM 7.1.
In the CHECK STATUS transaction,in the selection screen(QUERY),there is a field called "ROLE" which has teh dropdown values of "APPROVE BY ME","REJECTED BY ME" and "GOODS/SERVICES DELIVERED TO ME".Is there any way some of these drowpdown values can be removed?

Access Sequence Field not recognized in the Account Determination

Hi All,
we have created a new table for the account determination access sequence we are using as default.
the new table contains the field MVGR2 (VBAP) which we added to the KOMPCV structure as ZZMVGR2.
this goes fine in the sales order, however this is no longer recognized during billing. the field has no value in the Account determination analysis, hence there is no GL account determined for that.
can anyone help?

My guess is: you will have to modify the copy control routine, and populate the value of the new field accordingly.
This routine needs to be assigned to the item category in copy control configuration (VTFL).
Needless to say, the existing routine should be copied and then modified.

0VENDOR_ATTR: No data coming through for the field VBUND(trading Partner ID

Hi Friends,
I am working on Fi-AP line items for trading partners in BW. Trading Partner ID is a attribute of 0Vendor_attr datasource but it is not pulling the data for it. The field name is VBUND. In BW this field is mapped to 0COMAPNY. I want to use 0PCOMPANY in BW for trading Partner whi is referenced with 0COMPANY.
Please advice why 0Vendor_attr is not pulling the data for VBUND.

I will have a look on monday to see if it solves my issue, but it seems to be a very suitable solution.

I serched in the forums to find t.code or menu path for creating a tax condition table for MWST tax condition type, but no body has given any specific answer. most of them have given the SD or MM related condition tables.
My requirement is, I want to create a key combination for "MWST" TAX condition type. Please let me know the process of creating the key combination for TAX condition type.

condition type is base to calculation of main the tax procedure
but the thing the access sequence and conition type are pure MM, SD Work,
if you need to table :

are else you use Z table with the help of technical consultants'

Hi Neil,
The following steps describe what we did to get the new evaluation:
1. Define Attributes and Object Types for Evaluations: here we added a new field for evaluation. The field was COMPLETION (degree of processing in percent), with relevant object "TASK". "No Summarization" was configurated as Rule for Summarization
2. Define Extract Layouts: here we created a new extract layout for evaluation. The objects and attributes to be used were defined (the field COMPLETION was defined as attribute).
3. Assign Extract Layouts to Project Types.
4. Define Evaluations: the new layout for evaluation were created using the attributes.
5. Define Severity.
6. Define Threshold Values. In the new evaluation the field COMPLETION was used in the formula.
After configurating and testing, we have noticed that the values of field COMPLETION are not taking into account. It does not matter which value it has, evaluation always take 0.
