Base ledger&comparsion ledger not in agreement

Hi
When I run GCAC with the variant AE-2E00-0001 to period 9 the following differences are shown:

I do not know how to look for these differences or resolve these differences. As a result incorrect figures will be reported for E100.
Please advise.

Hi,
Look for the differences in the reporting structures as well as in transaction code FS10N. You may have to drill-down on the values in FS10N and examine them very well.
Hope this gives you some clarity as to how to proceed.

But unfortunately we don't have any Basis Guy separately. I was doubling up as Basis as well APO in my org . I'm pretty new to all these stuff. I searched in help.sap.com about this a lot, but couldn't find anything useful.

Base Ledger balance empty in KE5T

Hi gurus
I was trying to compare the FI and PCA postings using ke5t and what i found out was that the base ledger balance was empty,
where the compledger had balances in it. can somebody tell me why could this be happening thought i have maintained the 3KEH table and assigned the pca in the financial documents ? secondly i am not able find the navigation path for KE5T in ECC6.

Hello Sayeed,
Let me tell you the steps which performing in our premises.
Four steps are there right from T code: 1KEK, F.5D, KE5T and GR55
1KEK: This application used to perform transfer PCA balances upto the period you enter
For eg If I enter Period "3", Fiscal Year "2013" and Execute then System will calculate right from Period "1" to "3" for that fiscal year
F.5D: It simply calculate balance sheet adjustment
KE5T: This application used to monitor/ compare PCA Balances and G/L Transaction figures are match or not If not match found, please re-run this right from 1st step because Entries may be posting.
GR55: This is a final report. It is used to extract data from PCA as well as G/L accounts as Trial balances.

KE5T no values in Base ledger

Hi Ajay & Experts,
We are implementing ECC 6.0 and Classic PCA
All the postings have been updated in table.
When i try to execute KE5T to look at the differences, am getting no value in base ledger column and PCA ledger 8A am gettting values.
Entire postings in PCA are appearing as differences.
I have searched all the forums i didnot find any answers.
Can anyone please help.

If you have not implemented New GL and using classical PCA, surely you should have some differences between FI and PCA. It is very unlikely that FI and PCA will always match.
You can do certain this in order to mitigate the difference between FI and PCA.
1. Ensure that all your real cost objects / materials are assigned to profit centers.
2. In OBA5, make KM096 as error message. This ensure that you always enter profit center in cost center master.
3. Exeucte 1KE4 (profit center monitor) to see if there are any unassigned objects.
4. Periodically execute 1KEK, 1KEH, 1KEI etc.
5. Maintain 3KEH, 3KEI settings and also ensure you have maintain relevant substitutions in OKB9
6. Already posted difference can only be reduced by posting one leg entries through 9KE0.
If there are no entries in KE5T, there is something wrong, please check.

Balances in base ledger and comparison ledger

Dear Sir/Madam,
We run the T code: KE5T to find out the difference in the base ledger and the comparison ledger. In our case we have balances appearing in the comparison ledger. the same balances are not appearing in the base ledger because of which the whole amount is going under difference column. now we want to tally both the ledgers and make the difference zero. How can we do this.

Base ledger and comparision ledger

Hi Experts,
for previous period the balance in base ledger and comparision ledger is eual.(Balance was 1)
in current period the balance in base ledger is 1 and balance in comparision ledger is 280(1+279)
one pCA document got posted with amount 279 but this not get updated in baseledger.
as per my knowledge every month we will transfer the balance from base ledger to comparision ledger.
i am in confusion with this concept.
can some one help me?

Was not informed of new policy when signing up for service and charged for services I did not knowingly agree to.

I’m writing to contest a $29.99 monthly charge, which is contracted for 24 months amounting to $720 in total. The charge is for a data plan which I did not knowingly agree to, and verizon is unwilling to remove from the account even though the phone on the line does NOT use data.
The backstory of the issue:
On September 19, 2014 I waited in line at an Apple store to purchase a new iPhone on launch day. I opened a new basic line of service for $9.99 a month on my account so I could purchase a discounted phone from Verizon. When purchasing the phone, the representative explained that he was going to have to put a basic data package on the line for $15 a month, but that it would be removed once I transferred the phone to an existing line on the account. After the purchase was complete, we transferred the phone to an exisitng line, and the represented confirmed that the data package would not be charged to my account and therefore I would only have to pay $9.99 a month for the basic line of service for two years. A couple weeks pass and I receive my bill, I notice that the data plan is still listed on my account and has also increased to $29.99 a month! I call Verizon to see what is going on, they tell me that they have just implemented a new policy that states if I purchased a smart phone on a basic account and then transfer the phone to a differnt line that I will have to pay $29.99 a month for data even if the new phone that is currently on the line does not use data! I told them I was not informed of this, and was actually told the complete opposite when signing up for service. They refuse to remove the data package, and will not let me cancel the account without charging me $350. The representative on the phone said that the representative in the store was a sales person and most likely did not have the training to inform them of the new policy change, and that they could not honor what he told me.
I should be able to rely on and trust what a Verizon wireless representative is telling me, I was not aware of the new policy and did not knowingly agree to this policy. And in that case, I would like to point out that I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 15 years humbly request that you clear this $29.99 monthly charge from my account as a gesture of good faith.
I have spent over 7 hours on the phone with verizon trying to get this resolved to no avail. I have also filed a complaint with the attorney generals office, and plan to persue this until it is fully resolved.

They gotcha! And that policy change was listed here and other places on the net.
Its either pay that or the early termination fees.
Verizon will not grant you a mistake forgiveness clause.
If they do it for you they would have to do it for everyone.

This might sound like a silly question, but are you sure the iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch etc.) are still trying to connect to the same network from your own Airport router, as the MacBook Pros are? If you tap Settings on them, is the network name next to where it says Wi-Fi, the right one?
I've got a weird feeling that either in the past couple of days, a neighbour got an Airport device and hasn't set it up yet (causing your iOS devices to try to help), or that perhaps there's an issue with your Airport router and they're noticing it and trying to help out, while for whatever reason, Airport Utility isn't opening itself on the MacBook Pros like it normally should if there's a problem.
If you open Airport Utility on one of the MacBook Pros, does it report any problems with your Airport device, and can you view/edit the settings on it?

I have been coding in Flash Builder Burrito and publishing to my Xoom for a few weeks. All of a sudden at the end of the day I'm getting this compiler error which says:
1017: The definition of base class Application was not found. AppName.mxml /AppName/src Unknown Flex Problem
I sometimes hit the wrong key with I try to copy and paste and all of a sudden a new window will open for source of a default component which I never wanted to edit. I'm afraid I somehow deleted or modified the default class defnition of Application?
I don't understand why this would come out of the blue, I was working on a function within a class that was drawing points ... Then all off a sudden I'm getting this error and it's driving me nuts.
I tried to reinstall FB Burrito on my Mac, but after all that work it still says the same thing. Wouldn't it replace the default class defs?
Please help!

Wow, some really strange behavior.
OK, so here is what I'm going through. I reinstall, import the project and compiles.
Then I uncomment the new section which contains the following code:

I get 3 diffrent errors, which lead up to the error listed in the topic.
At first it says that "int" isn't a valid type and it points to this line:
var line_commands:Vector.<int> = new Vector.<int>();
Then I take int out so the line looks like this:
var line_commands:Vector = new Vector();
Then it says I can't nest classes and it points to the main MXML. I go to the main MXML then the error switches to say "The definition of base class Application was not found.".
I did figure out how to fix this with out reinstalling. I have to delete the project from my list (making sure to comment out the code above), then re-launch FB Burrito, then re-import the project and it works.
This is way nuts! I dont understand ... am I crazy?

Getting Error base class BitmapAsset was not found

I am converting a project using Away3D boomstick to the new FL11 version. I have installed the 4.5.1 SDK, dropped in the new away3d classes, added the flashplayer11_b1_playerglobal_071311.swc and now I get the following error.

It seem the right playergloblal is not accessed. If You compile in Flash IDE make sure that ActionsScript Settinng is configure with the rigth paths.
The SDK 4,5 has change the name of flex.swc to core.swc and others files.
Flex 4.5 Framework Differences
flex.swc and utilities.swc were renamed to core.swc and authoringsupport.swc
The datavisualization.swc was split into charts.swc and advancedgrids.swc.
Path to sdk
I put all those SWC in a folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS5\Common\Configuration\ActionScript 3.0\flex_sdk\4.5\
Flash Actionscript settings. -> library path ->add the path till sdk
Configure globalplayer.swc. in Flash
in Common-Configuration/Player created a copy of FlashPlayer10_3.xml to FlashPlayer11.xml.

Finally
Flash Actionscript settings. -> library path ->add path till globalplayer

I was able to run through the developer guide to get several simple applications going, but I'm getting stuck when trying to compile a game (using amxmlc) that uses Flex-style embeds to embed bitmap graphics.
The error I'm seeing is this: (I've included input for completeness. I am located inside the project directory.)

As directed in the guide, I downloaded the latest Flex SDK and dragged in the contents of the iPhone packager directory. And to reiterate, I was able to get several simple applications working on my iPad, so my setup should be correct.
Where have I gone wrong?

I've narrowed it down further. Emebds DO work, but it's particularly an embed that leads to a ByteArrayAsset that does not. In my case, I am embedding an XML file as an octet stream.

I've inherited someone else's flex code. I need to make a small change re-complie and re-deploy, but the IDE (flash builder 4) keeps telling me there's an error in one of the.as files. Here's the details:

If you modified the timezone setting in the environment, please stop the agent and exectute 'emctl resetTZ agent' and also execute the script mgmt_target.set_agent_tzrgn(<agent_name>, <new_tz_rgn>) to get the value propagated to repository.
Consult the log files in: /gridagent/OracleHomes/agent10g/sysman/log

Zenon go to the Insider Hub and read Known issues for build 10041, there are some solutions to your problems.
Users that are in the FAST TRACK are going to have more bugs "problems".
If you want less bugs, change your updates for new build to SLOW.
