The error message usually means that you try to upload a graphic with a
TIFF format, which is not supported. Please check the compression type
of the TIFF file with your graphic program. The SAP supports
uncompressed TIFF files and Packbits compressed TIFF files.
Read SAP note: 39031 tells about baseline.
Not every TIFF dataset can be uploaded, there are some preconditions.

No baseline TIFF 6.0 file
Hi all,
I am trying to upload a tiff file for a logo using program RSTXLDMC. i run nto the same error all the time:
TIFF format error: No baseline TIFF 6.0 file
I have converted my logo using various programs such as paint.net, paint and windows imaging.
Can anybody tell me how to resolve this error, i know I can also use se78 and .bmp but I would like to store the logo as a standard text. I would like to know how to convert it to tiff 6.0
Thanks a lot,
BertHi,
I seem to remember that there are additional settings you need to make when saving the file, specifically that 'no compression' is set.
My recollection is a bit hazy, so I can't be much more specific.

Issue while uploading .TIFF file into Standard text using RSTXLDMC
Hi All,
We are facing issues while uploading .TIFF file into standard text through program RSTXLDMC.
Getting the following error.
TIFF format error: No baseline TIFF 6.0 file.
The image is a colored one.
Please provide me solution if anyone has worked in this area.
Thanks in Advance,
Anand Raj Kuruba.Hi,
Often this error occurs because the TIFF file you have has been saved with some form of compression. You need to open in a picture edit program and save as TIFF making sure options are set so there is no compression.

I need to be able to open a multi page PDF and then export that into a merged single TIFF image. For example, right now, if I open a 47 page PDF and export it as a TIFF, I get 47 TIFF images when what I need is for all those PDF pages to be merged into 1 continuous document.
There are programs that create multi-page TIFFs. My fax software does that. I am sure there are other programs that do as well. However, the multipage TIFF format is not supported by Adobe apps. Adobe is in control of the TIFF standard and according to the wikipedia:
Multiple subfiles
TIFF readers must be prepared for multiple/multi-page images (subfiles) per TIFF file, although they are not required to do anything with images after the first one.
There may be more than one Image File Directory (IFD) in a TIFF file. Each IFD defines a subfile. One potential use of subfiles is to describe related images, such as the pages of a facsimile document. A Baseline TIFF reader is not required to read any IFD beyond the first one.[8]
