/BaseState /OFF not allowed in default "/D" OC configuration dict. Why?

What is the logic behind this rule imposed by the PDF Spec? It makes absolutely sense to have OCGs in a document made invisible by default, and only a few, selected ones made visible by referencing them in the /ON array. BTW, although not allowed, the /BaseState /OFF plus /ON [...] combination is perfectly acknowledged by AdobeReader.

It seems that the ISO is less restrictive than the precedent PDF-Specs up to v. 1.7.
ISO 32000-1:2008, Table 101, Page 229: "If BaseState is present in the document’s default configuration
dictionary, its value shall be ON."
PDF-Reference, 6th edition (PDF-1.7), Table 4.51, Page 376: "Note: If BaseState is present in the document’s default configuration dictionary, its value must be ON."
Ghostscript with epswrite output device produces a warning when it encounters /BaseState /OFF in the input PDF file:
Warning: Default viewing OC config dictionary has /BaseState /OFF

I've been noticing since purchasing the iPhone 5 for Christmas(2012) that when I am on the phone and I need to press buttons on the screen( like press one for english) the phone's screen will cycle on and of not allowing me to press anything. Even to the point sometimes it will not allow me to hit the end button to end the call. I have to Hit power/lock button to end call. Really anyoning espicially when talking a computer aided 1800 number. Also there is a intermittent loud hum coming from the ear speaker. Is this common problem with these or should I take it in to store? It only seems to happen while using the phone.

I had the same problem and was convinced my new phone was broken. I scoffed at the suggestions I saw here that it was my 2G's Piel Frama case. And you know what? That's what it ended up being. There's a little part of it on the upper left of the iphone and when the phone went black as I removed it from my ear to look for the keypad, I pulled that piece of leather away and poof! I had a keypad. It was totally the case. The new phone fits in the old case just fine, but the placement of the sensor isn't in the same place. I wouldn't have believed it otherwise.
BTW, if you hit the home button when that happens you'll get your screen back, but it's better to fix the case issue.

Content is not allowed in Prolog error while configuring File to Mail

Hi Expert,
I have a scenario where I have to pick up a file from FTP using sender File adapter and send this file as an attachment using Receiver Mail adapter.
There are 3 requirements :
1) File name of the attachment in the Mail should be same as the File picked from FTP.
2) The Mail content should be "Please find attached the <Filename> for your reference.
i.e The content has to be dynamic
3) Subject of the Mail should be dynamic e.g : Apple_<Filename>
I am facing the following issues :
1. Since single File is picked up,the file is going as an payload and not as an attachment.As a result when i am doing message mapping,i am getting the error saying "Content is not allowed in prolog" in SXMB_MONI or Runtime workbench.
2. Since we have dynamic requirements, i have to Use "Use Mail Package" option.It implies that i have to use Message Mapping.But if i use Message Mapping,i get the error "Content is not allowed in prolog".
I understand that most of the experts would ask me to write UDF's, but if i use UDF i am getting the "Content is not allowed in prolog" error.

InDesign will not allow me to save my work. Why is this? Time sensitive project.

I downloaded the free trial for InDesign, and have been using it to work on an important project. I have had the free trial for a little while, but I am not exactly sure how long. I opened it about an hour ago, and it still offered the "continue trial" option, so I clicked it, but now it will not allow me to save or export my file to PDF. I am near completion on the project. It is due today, but if I am not able to save the file, I will not be able to submit the assignment. Is my inability to save the file a result of the trial running out mid-session? If so, what can I do to recover the work I have done?

Create another document and move pages from the problem document to the new - attempt to save
Create a simple, one word document and try to Save or Export

WIP 330 Wireless Phone Password just showed up and does not allow Factory Default Reset

I have a WIP 330 IP Phone and had it setup on the network fine. When I powered it up, a phone password showed up. The manual says the default password is "admin" but that does not work. This phone has no reset button. Any Ideas?

Have you moved your iTunes library recently? Are you using a different profile?
Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Security tab and click Advanced. If necessary grant your account and SYSTEM full control of this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to replace permissions on child objects which will repair permissions throughout the library. This is the XP dialog but Windows 7 shouldn't be too different.
If it won't let you change the permissions use the Owner tab to take ownership from an account with administer privileges.
Also in iTunes properties tap the read-only check box until it clears, then click OK. When prompted apply the change to the folder and all files and subfolders.

ITunes U will not allow me to subscribe to any course, why?

So I have an iPhone 4 with the latest iOS. I recently wanted to try out Apple's iTunes U app. I downloaded the app just fine but when I go to "subscribe" to any particular course, it allows me to press it and basically confirm it and then...nothing. Nothing downloads, and nothing happens. I have a similar problem with iBooks 2 where I can't sign on to use the service. I'm a bit perplexed. By the way, I've already gone through the typical steps. Uninstall the app, reinstall, restart iphone, etc, etc.

Not sure who "you" is. Thunderbird is software rubbing on YOUR computer.
You do not change your email password in Thunderbird. You do that at your email provider. Go to your providers web mail or email help page and look for a link to do that.
Once you have a working password that you can remember you need to remove and replace the stored passwords in Thunderbird.

I've got a running content server 6.4 with Apache 2.0 on SuSE Linux 10 and MaxDB 7.6
Things like htpp://myserver:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo
and the likes all respond well.
However, executing SE38 with RSCMSTH0 shows problems with crea1 & 2 with a PUT command results in HTTP/1.1 405 Method Not Allowed. This is probably caused by Apache not allowing by default PUT actions for security reasons. Can anyone point me how to update the httpd.conf file for SAP Content Server to pass this test ?

Thanks for your reply, I've progressed further and have the content server up and running. The problem is now the post installation steps.
1) Set up the repositories
When I do this suing CSADMIN using the Create tab, I define a Content Rep Z_MYTEST, with description "Test Repository" and uncheck the Check signature box, and click the Create repository button, I am prompted to autneticate - after authentication I get the following error :
HTTP error: 404 Not Found Cannot create
Configuration of Repository Z_MYTEST
It looks like I'm sitting with an empty MaxDB without any content server related tables in it ? Although sapinst terminated sucsesfull without any errors.

405: Method Not Allowed after using GetRemotePortalSession

Hi - I'm currently using portal version 5.0.3 and VS.NET 2003. I'm attempting to use a remote session through a test portlet (trying out one of the search samples) and I'm running into an issue. I believe I'm connecting to the remote server, but each time I attempt to call a method using one of the remote interfaces I'm getting:
The request failed with HTTP status 405: Method Not Allowed.
The portlet is configured to pass the login token - I can actually query that from the portletContext - after that, I'm sunk. Anyone have any ideas why I might be getting this?

For anyone who comes across this issue. Be sure to check your Portal Server Settings utility under the Portal URL Manager. This is what brought the error up for me. While there may be other causes its one easy thing to check. Under the .Net version of plumtree the Soap Server URL should read something like this:

I did a FTP install of i686 Arch Linux on a friend's machine. I could not get gnome-system-tools to work, keep getting:
The configuration could not be loaded
You are not allowed access to the system configuration
So, I tried gnome-system-tools on an i686 Arch install on my machine, and gnome-system-tools worked. Then I did a pacman -Syu and fully updated the system. The updates included udev which now prints how long udev events took on boot up. After the updates, gnome-system-tools no longer works. Same symptoms as the new install.
Both machines have stbd in the /etc/rc.conf DAEMONS line. Both the user and root in both machines are part of the stb-admin group. Using gksu or launching as root in a terminal window results in the same problem. The problem seems to be in system-tools-backends which works in conjuntion with dbus as I get this error:
(time-admin:7607): Liboobs-WARNING **: There was an unknown error communicating with the backends:
Process /usr/share/system-tools-backends-2.0/scripts/SystemToolsBackends.pl exited with status 127
gnome-system-tools and system-tools-backends are part of the community group, so as far as I know, writing a bug report is out. Both gnome-system-tools and system-tools-backends are out of date in community. system-tools-backends is version 2.4.1 and the current version is 2.6.0. I tried using makepkg to compile the new 2.6.0 version of system-tools-backends but it fails saying it needs dbus >= 1.1.2 but version of dbus is 1.0.2. So it appears that dbus is out of date also. That is a far as I got.
I know this has been a problem in the past, but I got it working until this latest update.
Anyone got any ideas on this?

There is no Standard Setting or Functionality available to perform this, how ever you can look at using the Confirmation related user exit, in the user exit you need to put your code to check AFWW table for the order,if records are found, give an error message and terminate Confirmation.
