Basic feature.. Why won't it say?
Ok... Seems like it should be something that it should be able to do..
I'm trying to download (purchase a season pass) a tv show and it's telling "cannot download not enough space" no biggie but why can't you tell me how space you require and how much I'm off so I don't delete more than I need to.
And why won't it still let me purchase the season pass and only download what it can until I free up space. For instance the season of the show has 10 episodes and iTunes only can download 5 well when I'm done watching those 5 I delete them and the remaining 5 download?
Seems like such a basic feature....

yes ZEO5520 it would have helped in the situation but when traveling (especially international) it's not always condusive to pack all electronics and haul them around. this is not about syncing to a pc. good suggestion but not always the case.
my point is, in this day in age with technology, we should get more of a detailed message other than "there's not enough space"
I was more or less complaining because I had 12 gigs free on my ipad yet the TV series I wanted to download was 13.7gigs had I know that I could have freed up a couple more gigs (ie delete things I don't really use anymore and extra apps) to accomedate the video or have itunes download what it can until more space becomes available. I ended up doing a large house cleaning and freed up almost 19gigs of space on my ipad after the show downloaded I still have 5+ gigs free. had I known how much space was required I could have planned better
if itunes can auto sync new shows in a current season it should be smart enough to say "I can only download 2 shows until more space is available"

Why won't Siri say my name correctly?
I've tried it all, yet Siri WON'T say my name right! My last name is "Eliasen," pronounced Eh-LEE-uh-sen. She keeps saying, "Eh-LIE-uh-sen." Why can't she figure out this simple phonetic spelling??? I've even tried putting the phonetic spelling "Elíasen," which would also work.
She DID, however, take the correct phonetic spelling for my first name. It's Jalyssa, pronounced "Juh-Lisa." Yet when I tell her, "I want to go home," and she replies, "here are directions to Jalyssa Eliasen home address," she says my first name incorrectly again. What the heck?

Why won't Siri say my name? She just writes it.
When I tell Siri what to call me, it appears in text form in her answer, but she does not say it all the time. She speaks everything except the name I told her to call me, eventhough it's showing up on her written answer. She says it from time to time, but I want to get her to say it everytime she speaks to me or anwers a question. Ideas?

My name is actually "Dave". Not "David", but "Dave". For some reason (although I think I may know why), Siri refuses to call me "Dave". It will call me "Master". It will call me "David". But it will not call me "Dave". Seriously?
Do what a friend did. Change your info to "MASTER"

I purchased the new gen 7 ipod nano and needed to update itunes to 10.7 but my current software says its up to date and won't download 10.6.8 Currently I have 10.5.8 Why won't this update?

If you go to the Apple menu & "About this Mac" this will tell you what type of processor you have: -
why won't itunes download on my pc. I get an error message saying not a correct 64 bit download???
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

iTunes says my computer isn't authorized to play one of the songs I just downloaded, but all the rest of them work. That song works on my iPad so why won't it work on my computer or my iPod? It says my computer isn't authorized to play that song so I type in my password and it pops up with a menu saying my computer is already authorized and it skips to the next song. No matter what I do it won't play that song on my laptop or my iPod.
Could be a Corrupt download of that song...
If you live in a Region that allows re-downloading Music...
Delete the Song(s) and re-download...

Why can I not download apps on my iPod? Why won't my FaceTime connect? It keeps saying connection failed when trying to sign in.

Ok, so sometimes apple's servers may crash, temporarily. Just check the following site: http://www.apple.com/uk/support/systemstatus/
and it will notify you of any crashes. The link above is for the UK. Change to adapt to your country if you are outside of the UK. If your problem isn't listed I am sure it will be resolved within 24 hours. If this problem persists best thing is to contact apple.

Why won't my printer (Brother HL2270DW) print out Elements bi-monthly magazine. Screen says either printed not connected (not true) or PDF not supported of shows a blank document. No problems printing on any other website.
My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Looks like you have a 3G not a 3Gs...
Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Check for Updates “...
If an Update Appears Install it... if not... you are up to date for your particular Device...

Yes you placed a hold but then when I went to complete an in app purchase it says I can't. I have no restrictions on this **** thing and never had this problem.. Why won't your iTunes communicate with my games so I can purchase stuff. I have an iPad mini just trying to play a **** game.

I paid for it, it uses less energy, less bandwidth, during emergencies, we would have radio access & FEMA would like it activated.
I asked an Apple tech on chat and they said there is no FM capability on the phone. I asked if my iPhone has a Broadcom chip and they ended the chat. I had to give them my phone number twice, but they never called back with me back to answer the question. According to NPR the chip is activated in other countries.could it be because the iphone6 don't have an Broadcom BCM4335 chip?
