Basic Graphics_Textures overlap problem

Sorry if this is a newb question. In Illustrator CC v17.0.2, I'm trying to do a simple Appearance on a Fill using a default diamond pattern from Adobe pattern swatches. But the texture seems to overlap always Notice in the diamond swatch that is selected and in the orange background there are 6 verticle "lines" where the diamond pattern seems to be overlapping in this screenshot:
Basic steps:
1. Create a blank doc
2. Create a rectangle and fill with orange gradient and remove stroke.
3. On the Appearance for the rectangle in step 2 apply Fill with an Adobe pattern swatch "Basic Graphics_Textures" selecting the Diamond pattern.
4. Notice the overlap of the diamonds.
I just want it to be smooth diamonds. There must be something I'm doing wrong. This can't possibly be the default is to overlap. Frustrated.

This pattern swatch is as far as I can see intended to have a kind of "shimmer" and the overlap is intentional. If you take a look at the swatch and the pattern's contents (drag the swatch onto an empty part of your artboard) you'll clearly see it.
You need to find or create a new swatch - very easy with the pattern tools.

Text overlapping problem

Since I upgraded to 10.4.10, I dont know if I did something wrong but I have bad text overlapping problems in Safari and some other apps such as Software Update, I first noticed the overlapping when editing a Wikipedia article and in the text box the text kept overlapping. Another site where it is very noticeable is in Facebook, here's a screenshot:
Even on this site it's pretty bad. It's the worst in text-boxes like in the one I'm typing in right now.
This is driving me crazy, anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks.

and do other helpful things for you.
I personally use YASU.

Payslip overlap problem

Hi All,
This is a problem I face in Rem. Statement.
If the lines per page is exceeded, then the extra lines get displayed overlapped over the existing lines on the first page.
Even on the second page, the lines are displayed over text items instead of the window in which they are to be displayed.
Kindly advise how best to solve this problem.

in pay slip its calculating the correct hours of abbsence but its taking the last entry of abbsence in basic pay calculation
how to check the basic pay processing?

Basic Excise Duty problem at the time of PO genration( Dealer).

Dear All,
We are implmentation ECC 6.0 version.We are facing a problem in basic excise duty.I am genrating PO for dealer at that time excise duty should be in amount,this amount maintain in purchasing condition.When we assign tax code with 0 % BED in po.BED could not copy from purchasing condition type.
I think there was a Alternative Key (354) use in TAXINN pricing procedure,but this could not work properly.This key was proper key or any other key use in prcing procdure.
Any one suggest for right conclusion.

at the time of gr in Excise tab value
put the excise base as 100-8-1.6-0.8 = 89.6
and in bed 8
ecess 1.6
secess0.8
and in header tab of excise in miscellaneous tab tick MRP indicator
save ur part one and 2 posted
then do the miro
on item line it will show 100 as amount change it to 89.6
click on calculate tax
and ur excate payment of rs 104 will be done to vendor
this the the correct process of Delear case

String overlapping problem in mx:List caused by wordWrap

I'm using mx:List to display String items. The dataProvider is XMLListCollection. Some of the String is long so it takes more than one rows. I use the wordWrap to display the long String in more than one rows. The problem is that the next String item will overlapping with the long String. The mx:List can not adjust the vertical space for the Strings that needs more than one rows dynamically. Any suggections?

Basic auth interop problem, servlet WS works, EJB WS not (Sun AS 8)

After spending some time I managed to add HTTP basic auth to a simple web service. I have implemented two variants, an JAX-RPC servlet web service and an EJB web service.
A (Sun) JAX-RPC client works pretty well against both web services. I do the required steps with the stub (set user/pwd) and things work. I do get the correct principal in the server side, fine.
When I do NOT set the authentication properties at the stub, the servlet based WS responds something like HTTP error 403 (?) or so, which leads to "authentication required". The EJB based response is not that adequate, it's something like "internal server error, EJBLocalAccessException or so" but from the given message you could get the idea what's wrong.
Anyway, I got the impression that this stuff
return HTTP error to flag "auth required"
is not happening for some reason in my EJB based web service. I found this problem in Sun AS 8 and I think it's the same problem when I test stuff with Oracle's OC4J ...
Some client implementations have obviously problems to get the idea that user authentication is required. In other words, the clients cannot invoke the EJB WS. I tried it with Perl Soap::Lite, MS SOAP Toolkit 3.0 and MS .Net 1.1 stuff. All this clients work well (with authentication) when I consume the servlet based web service. But the EJB based web service is not working at all. I do get there just "not allowed" and the SOAP client runtime is not handing over any user credentials (because it's obviously not correctly asked for it by an appropriate AS response).
Anyone else experienced this problems with EJB WS???
Interesting question: why is the JAX-RPC client working? Is it sending the properties set at the stub in any case? Or do they "handle" the internal error coming from Sun AS explicitly or so? Strange, in a way. :-)

I guess the reason was that I wrote

instead of required

<auth-method>BASIC</auth-method>
</login-config>
At deploy time, I got no error message. At usage time, I just got this AccessLocalException. That's not really nice ...

Will Labview 7.1 fix scale overlap problem?

I am having a problem with using multiple y-scales. My program demands that the user be able to add and remove y-scales at run-time as needed. When this is done to the waveform graph, scales eventually begin to overlap and the entire graph moves out of alignment. This problem was previosly reported for dealing with XY graphs. In the response the Labview support person stated that there should be a Reset Scale Layout method available at run-time. After incorporating the fix method given in the other report, my axis's still fail to align. Will this method be included for the waveform graph function in Labview 7.1 or has a permanent fix for this problem been made?

Hi Jonathon,
Adding/removing scales programmatically can give some strange behavior if you don't manually refresh (or redraw) the graph each time using the Defer Panel Updates method for a Panel Invoke Node. I've attached a simple VI below using a waveform chart, but the same concept applies to waveform graphs.

Multiple button overlapping problem

I am making a map of the USA with a few of the states highlighted. Each of these highlighted states is a separate button. When each button is hovered over, the state image is enlarged.
Heres the problem: I want each hovered state to appear in front of everything else. Right now, buttons arranged above the hovered button are covering the hovered button's enlarged image. I need each button to appear on top when hovered over.
How do I create the effect I want, having different states that enlarge when hovered over? All of these buttons will also have hyperlinks, not sure if that changes anything.

I am working with as2 because it seemed less complicated for what I am trying to create...
So I have been trying to get swapDepths to work. I found code to make it work with buttons, and at least that part seems to be successful (I am getting results when typing in actions) but I can't get it to do what I want it to. Basically I just don't know what I'm doing. Does each button need its own layer and action applied to its layer? Or do I apply actions to the buttons?
any resources that teach swapDepths? I dont understand why its so hard to find this stuff. adobe's 'help' doesn't help, my 'flash for dummies' doesnt help, and i can't find a good site for help
All I need is to figure out how to control the depth of the buttons' rollover states. I want each rollover image to only appear when rolled over (one probly I've had is that the rollover won't go away once it appears), and I want the rolled over image to appear above everything else.

Muse 4 image overlap problem (solved)

Using Muse 4: Images in Design mode look fine. But in Preview mode and on the web they are severely misaligned, overlapping each other and text boxes vertically.

Vesa drivers are normally used as a fallback as it is very generic. Use the free or proprietary drivers for your intel/ati/nvidia instead.

Components overlapping problem

i have two JPanel's.
first panel is having a MenuBar, it has two menu, say File, Edit.
'File' menu has dropdown menu.
second panel is having two buttons.
very briefly I put above explaination in below code:

The query doesn't return anything because, most likely, the country with max population doesn't belong to the continent whose id = "f0_132", simple as that.
Remove the following condition and see the difference :

"I have had this kind of chart with nine plots earlier. - That chart functions Ok when Im running it as separate VI.
But when I call this from Main and load onto my subpanel, THESE Y Sclaes getting into mess (overlapping one
scale on the other), even with selection of 2-3 check boxes itself. I thought 'Use Minimum field width" in Format
& Precision tab will help. Even then its getting overlapped. - This is one problem." - This VI developed in LV7.1
I cannot run the application without hardware, hence i run it as separate vi and captured the attached images.
Update plot button value change event, reads the waveform file from disk and depends on the selected check box, it makes visible or invisible the corresponding Y scales and shows the actual plot onto the chart.
"Now I have created the same kind of chart for 7 channels'plot, shown above.
I have done like this - I have created one plot with name of Temp. And i added reqd. no. of plots
and duplicated the Y scales relevant. So now I have chart with 7 Plots. So far so good.
Now I like to add minimum field width for all 7 plots & precision for Channel 4 as mentioned in (**) But it shows the min.
field width to all plots, once i proceed with that and go on to change the precision for 4th channel, causes confusion by
showing the precision to 7th channel (Torque). I dont know where im making mistake & how should i correct it" - This is developed in LV8.0, attached VI of my earlier post.

Safari text overlapping problem

Hello,
I'm using Safari 3.0.3 and nowadays I'm experiencing strange problem, which seems to be difficult to explain. The text letters of different web pages is being overlapped for unknown to me reason. If there is a way I'd rather attach a screenshot for better understanding. Does anybody know what is the reason?

If you have 'Helvetica Fractions', 'Times Phonetic' or 'Rougue Stencil-Type' fonts installed, delete them.
-delete your fonts caches with FontNuke 1.1.5 +(or with whatever utility you usually use)+
<http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/21536/fontnuke>
-restart your Mac
-open your Font Book->Edit menu 'Select All' fonts - from the File menu 'Validate Fonts'
-from the Edit menu select 'Resolve Duplicates' +(if you have any duplicates)+

It's all about the pretty colors, and trying to squish a simple little program into a squarish-shape, so that another shape can be put within!
As you can see, I have no real programming skills, but I like pretty colors, so it's all good.
