As mentioned by Sriram, CIN is required only for manufacturing units in India, to capture, update & settle Excise Duty, Education Cess on Excise Duty & Higher Education Cess on Excise Duty.
CIN cover Excise Duties for both, MM & SD i.e Purchase & Sales. When we procure any goods, the excise duty for it may or may not be allowed for set-off. The excise duty which are eligible for set-off will trigger to separate G/L account & the goods not eligible for set-off benefit, is inventorised i.e excise duty is added as cost to material. Incase of purchase of capital goods, whole excise duty set-off cannot be taken in same year, but is to be divided into two & set-off for half is taken in this year & set-off for other half is carried forward to next year.
Considering simple example, say from sales we have collected Excise duty as 100 & the set-off accumulated is 70, then Excise duty payable is 30.

FCS2 with G4 machines - how usable for basic needs?

Having used earlier versions of this software (FC4.5 & DVDSP 2) on G4 iMac USB 2.0, I am somewhat familiar with the basics.
I am interested in real world findings of anyone using FCS2 on a G4 setup similar to mine which barely meets some of the system requirements. My needs are not extreme, and really fit the iLife product level in many ways. Having used the Pro apps, though, my appetite is whetted...but if operation is going to be sluggish, or the performance, will be somewhat unbearable, than I'll have to wait until my equipment level changes (which won't be anytime real soon), or just use the older versions as needed.
If anyone is using this suite on my level of machine and can share their experiences, I'd be grateful.

Real world findings? Do not bother with FC Studio 2 on a G4. I have a workhorse 1 gig G4 dualie that I loaded up Studio 2 on as an experiment while I waited delivery of a new Mac Pro.
Even with the lastest 10.4 and Quicktime updates, here's what happened:
Everything in the suite installed.
Final Cut Pro 6 would not launch but would laugh in my face, launch an error message tellling me to scrap my machine.
Color would not launch and would laugh in my face even harder.
Compressor would launch and sit there.
DVD Studio Pro would launch and operate which is not surprising as it's the same version I have on another boot drive anyway.
Motion 3 would launch and any, I mean any instruction would cause my machine freeze.
My G4 specs are most likely a heck of lot more capable than your iMac: 1.5 gigs of ram, 2 internal ATA drives, 2 internal SATA drives, Firewire 800 pci card, USB 2 pci card, ATI Radeon 9800 Mac Pro with 256 megs of Vram made specifically for 2x/4x AGP slots in G4/G5 PowerMacs.
If you feel you must have Final Cut Studio 2, you need a Mac Pro and if you think you can get away with an iMac, search the FCP forums for reasons why an iMac is incredibly incapable.

Can't believe I can't delete a single call from my call log without jailbreaking my phone and buying a third party app that is such a basic need and it seems it been this way for a while and they still haven't addressed in recent OS upgrades. Any help?

Its hard to be sympathetic with Apple for not wanting people to jailbreak their phone should they leave such a basic feature out. It so basic it didn't even occur to me thta I woudn't be able to do it until I tried it. Then spent 30 minutes on the internet trying to find a way around it. I would just go ahead and jailbreak it if the possibility of unstable apps and OS issues didn't outweigh the benefits causing me to have to retsore the OS from scratch!
Any help would be appreciated, I won't assume I looked at everything in my search Thx!

Reportedly this will be a feature of ios 5.

Bootcamp Basics needed for noob(s)....???

Well I am completely new to Mac and after reading many forums regarding the choice of Boot camp vs Parallels/Fusion/Virtual Box, I chose the bootcamp road as I would prefer to utilise all my system resources for faster performance etc, even though I do have a copy of PD7 still.
But now after reading further posts it seems people are having a lot of issues with bootcamp.
I have read the Apple support document regarding the installation of Bootcamp/Windows 7 and it seems pretty straight forward other than the fact I don't have a Lion disk to install the bootcamp drivers, I know I need a blank CD/DVD but at what point do I use it??, this is not clear on the instructions.
I really want to be able to fully install Windows 7 on bootcamp with all required drivers either side without any issues/problems.
Is it so hit and miss or is there a way to actually install Windows 7 through Bootcamp without any issues, if so please can someone give us noobs a clear way of doing the install.

Imovie is very basic - need better software to be more productive

I have Imovie and I wanted to compress some .avi files. I could not import any .avi files. Then I tried to import a .mov file and it seems that the file was too large so I could not import it. I'm trying to compress these files so I can upload them to utube..myspace...etc. I had to download a converter to convert the .avi to .mov. I want to buy some software that does everything in one tool. I'm looking for something that allows you to export and import different types of movies and export them to different formats. i also want to be able to compress the movies to make them smaller. Can you recommend a good software program. Imovie just seems so basic. I want to be productive and be able to do everything in one tool. i have different types of formats for movies: .avi, .mov, .wmv...etc. I use to have a pc and now I am using a macbook pro but finding it very difficult to use because the programs that come with it are so basic and do not support all file types.

If you are in the US, then you don't have a choice of carriers. You can not use that phone with any U.S. carrier other than Verizon. Call them and ask. Verizon will not permit you to use it without a data plan.

Upload/Put problem - basic, need help

my first post here.
I used to use Dreamweaver 8 and recently upgraded to CS3.
For some reason now when I upload an HTML page that contains
j pegs, or swf files only the HTML page gets put, I have to
manually go and put each j peg or swf file. It used to
automatically put all the content of the page, why is it not doing
it anymore? Is there a setting I need to change in preferences?

You can 'put' or 'check-in' files either independently or
Shift+click (PC) linear groups or Ctrl+click (PC) randomly spaced
files. If you have files within folders you can put/check-in an
entire file and its contents.
You can also automate the uploading of dependent files (which
is probably what you had selected in Dreamweaver 8).
Select Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Dreamweaver >
Preferences (Macintosh).
In the Preferences dialog box, select Site from the category
list on the left.
Set the options ( you want dependent files) and click OK.
This will upload the html page and every file referenced in
the page such as images, external scripting and css files and swfs.
This can be an unnecessary step once you have completed the first
upload of an html page and its contents. You might consider simply
holding down the Alt (Windows) or Option (Macintosh) when selecting
put/check-in if you need to upload every associated file. I prefer
to leave the dependent file option deselected and use this method.

Very Basic, need to copy right channel to the left channel.

My first time in this forum, i checked the FAQ and did a small search.
I sent a stereo mix from FCP as an 'Audio File Project' (not multitrack) to Soundtrack Pro. I want to copy the left channel to the right channel (replacing the right channel) so both channels have the same signal.
I've worked in many audio programs and it seems Soundtrack Pro just doesn't have the universal workflows as most (wavlab, audition, pro tools). When working with Stereo files I can't figure out how to isolate one channel at a time.

Under the process menu you find Convert to Mono, the dialog that follows lets you choose which channel to use (or to combine them).
What's maybe confusing you is that the process creates a single file, instead of what you're expecting - a stereo file with identical information left and right.
In STP (and I'm sure in FCP as well) if you place a mono file on a track (pan it to the middle) and then export, the file it will produce will be a 2 channel mono file. So you just need to take another step to get where you want.

New to FaceTime-Basics needed

I'm wanting to connect via Face Time to a friend that has both a Mac laptop and iPad2. Friend already has Face Time up and working. I'm a complete newby to Face Time. What do I need to know/do so I won't run into the problems I see in the forum?
First I need to purchase Face TIme from App store. I've never done that before either. I plan on buying an iTunes card today and use that to make my purchase. I'm assuming I can do that. Just feeling my way thru this as this is all new to me.
Does the app come with instructions? Is there a link I can go to that has step by step instrucitons?
My connection to internet is via broadband (no modem). I want to Face Time with my iMac as I have no laptop, iPad, iPhone, etc.

Confusion over basic need for 'import' in scrapbook

brand new to eclipse and trying to follow the 'dexter' videos on youtube....
Q1: when i create a scrapbook and try something simple like

and then i try to inspect a i get error
a cannot be resolved to a variable
what am i doing wrong? i didnt define any classes so i dont think i need to import a package
question 2: if i import a package into the scrapbook ... can i see this ? how do i know I did it?

yep.. i see that i have to select all of the text (mulitple lines) that apply to creating the variable if i want to use the inspection button
is the purpose of inspect .. just to see the value of only 1 variable (ie the last variable typed without a ";" , ie. does inspect have a very limited value when coding/debugging?
for example... if I select this text to try to inspect the values of a and b I get an error because I guess the program fails on the line that just has 'b'?

IWeb Difficulties that basically need to get fixed.

First of all I'd reallt have to say that iWeb is amazing but yet amizing stuff have their weaknesses. There are three major weaknesses on iWeb, 1. Flash embedding, I'd like to be able to add flash content by only drag and drop, 2. Control my hyperlinks, I'd like to be able to choose weither I'd like to open a link in a frame on a page or in a PopUp window, 3. I'd like to be able to open pages in a popup window by being able to cutomize the window as well.
If Apple can fix this problem it would be very helpfull and it would make iWeb the ever best software for creating webpages.

Really basic - Need help with autotrace result interpretation

I'm trying to look into database tunning in order to check efficency of my sql statments and I think AUTOTRACE is the first thing to look into.

Need help with a basic java thing..

Sorry, just started java a few weeks ago and i'm having trouble figuring out how to do something.
I wanted to know how to make this work. It cant be more than 6 characters in length and of those six characters, the first two have to be letters only, followed by a dash (-) and then three numbers. EG: ab-234 or gf-643...
Im using it as a serial number generator type thing, thats only one part of the entire program, but I cant figure it out.
Just need the most basic way to do that if anyone could help! been looking for hours in a couple java books i have and dont know where to look or what to look for!!

Oh hey sorry, i figured the bit of text i put in there
would be enough. I basically need a user to enter the
information, but i just need to know (or get a hint)
of how to prevent them from entering an invalid
number/serial code type thing in regards to the
parameters that I need met. (such as no more than 6
chars, but alternating numbers/letters). I presume I
use the char and not the getlnString command but
nonetheless im still stuck as to how I'd manage that.
Do i need to code each character seperately? (such as
letters by themselves, then another prompt to enter
the numbers??) or is there a way to get it all in one
go?

100% Noob - Need Help for basic setup of Cisco 2504 and 1600 AP

Hello,
I am completely noob in (cisco) networking.
I have to setup a basic but secure wireless network.
I have a cisco 2504 and 2 APs 1600 + a random switch
I have 4 ports on the controller.
I want to keep the 1st port on the network for the controller management, plug my internet box on the 3rd port, and my switch on the 4th port. Then the AP will be on the switch.
I am able to make something working when everythings are plugged on the switch, plugged in the first port (default management port).But this is not what I want.
First thing, Is that possible ?
1st port : office network
2nd port : empty
3rd port : Internet Box
4th port : Switch + all APs
Then, if that is possible, how should i configure the controller to make that work ? I am completely lost in the menus.
I dont need a perfect configuration, just something simple and working.
1 SSID, 10 DHCP addresses, block wireless users trying to go on the office network.
If anyone could help my doing that, It would be very nice.

You basically need two SSIDs one for corporate users and second for guests .check the link with step by step config and brief details .
