I have a one week old Mac Pro (2013 and have been getting the following error 12/16/14 11:48:22.339 PM discoveryd[54]: Basic Warn DD_Warn: Bad count; corrupt NSEC RDATA
I have had issues with my raid drives disconnecting and am wondering what this message might mean.

For the Raid problem you need to provide us info on what Raid you are using and how they are connected. Are yo doing anything whne they disconnect?

Corrupt NSEC RDATA

Ever since installing the App Store version of Yosemite, I'm seeing constant console messages (about one every 1-5 sec) that say this:
discoveryd[12855]: Basic Warn DD_Warn: Bad count; corrupt NSEC RDATA
This seems bad considering it has to do with DNS. Not sure how to proceed. Here's what I've tried:
Changed DNS provider on my Mac
Switched from WiFi to hardwired over thunderbolt to thunderbolt display with Ethernet
Turned on Firewall on Mac
None of this seems to matter at all.
Can someone tell me what this message means? Is it a threat? What's the resolution and why am I only seeing now on Yosemite?
(Note: I usually disregard most of the console chatter but this message caught my attention and I can't find any search results that discuss it)

I used the Xlint:path , option , the compiler output is still the same,
I still get the path related warnings.
According to the documentation online,
Xlint:path , will basically remove all the path related warnings, but I have to figure out , as to how the compiler is even referring to these missing jars, even though the ant build.xml does not make a reference to them

Error msg. PS cc 2014. The pattern is bad or corrupted.

I installed PS cc 2014 and things seemed to work OK. Then I tried installing plug-ins. Now I get an error msg. when I pull up PS either by itself or thru LR5. It says The Pattern is bad or corrupted. When I click OK everthing seems to work OK. What should I do?

This styles file is bad or corrupted- Elements 3.0

Ok so, I use photoshop elements 3.0, and the other day something weird happened and now it refuses to work. A few days ago it was fine and working well, but suddenly something pops up saying "This styles file is bad or corrupted" and it just suddenly popped up. It did this before so I tried to install it again [after removing it] and it gave me the same problem so I had to make an entirely new account, and then FINALLY got it to work on the different account. [It's refusing to work on the new account]
Quite annoying...
Any chance there's some way to fix this?

You didn't say which OS you have. When you create one, be sure it is an administrative account not a standard account as Elements need read/write privileges.

Basic Settings for BADI

I would like to set BADI to transmit contracts from SRM to MM and I am going >>>Customizing under BADi --> Follow on documents --> Create Contract in back-end but then I do not know how to move.
Could you please explain me basic settings for BADI.How to set and configure ?

Hi. You would only implement this BADI if you would like to modify the functionality/values of the contract interface to MM.
To do this proceed as follows:-
1) Press the execute button (As per you navigation in SPRO mentioned).
2) Specify an implementation name (Start with a Z or Y) - press enter (You will need a developers key from service.sap.com)
3) Give the implementation a name and SAVE to a transport package
4) Select the interfaces table and navigate (double click) on the method applicable (CONTRACT_INTERFACE_FILL or CONTRACT_PROCESS_TYPE_FILL)
5) Enter the code you would like SAVE & activate.
6) Go back to the implementation (F3 to go back) and activate the implementation (CTRL-F3).
7) Test and if this works transport the development through the landscape.

How can I fix "gradient file bad or corrupt" in elements 12

When I start elements 12 a notice comes up that says "the gradient file bad or corrupt". If I click ok the program finishes loading but will not open any existing files, it says they are not valid adobe files, even though they were created in elements 12. I have uninstalled and re installed the entire program, but the message still comes up.

Reset the gradient tool or all tools.Look for a box with lines in it on the tool's option bar. Click & reset..
If that does not fix it, suggest that you reset preferences via Edit>Preferences>General. Reset and relaunch.

I am getting the above error message for a grd file, that I am trying to open in Photoshop CS6. I don't think the file is bad or corrupted, does anyone have any ideas on how to open this filr of check if it is bad or corrupted?

Edit: It seems the extension .grd may be used for more than one type of file.

WARNING: Cookie information is corrupt

Followed FN - 63170.
After C3200_RM_ALT.srec.124-15r.T1 is installed I still get the cookie warning and when I do a show cookie it still shows all 00 00 00's.
Can't get to the next step, TFTP or xmodem the new IOS image. It haults at rommon everytime. When I attempt to TFTP or xmodem the new image "WARNING: Cookie information is corrupt" scrolls down the screen and when complete I get a "Download failed, invalid image"...something like that.
Now I get more error messages...

Yes I did. It turns out once the cookie is corrupt there is no way for a customer of Cisco to re-create the cookie. It holds information (hardware information) that is necessary for the IOS upgrade. It will transfer to flash but when complete it will not verify correctly and will fail the download.
This link explains it all. The bootstrap upgrade is only to prevent the cookie from being corrupt. Once it is you must RMA with Cisco.

Getting Popup that says "This pattern file is bad or corrupted."

I have had PSE9 for a couple of weeks and everything seemed fine a few days ago and when opening the welcome screen just continues to say "Gathering User Info." My profile info doesn't show up and when accessing Organize get the message "This pattern file is bad or corrupted." Help!!! I am using Windows7. Thanks!!

Mail - Unread Mail Count corrupted

I have set up a Smart Mailbox in Mail to hold all of my unread mail until I have a chance to deal with it. It is called "Unread" and the condition for the box is simply all messages that match the condition "Message is Unread"
There are currently 15 messages in this Smart Mailbox, yet the count at the side of the Mailbox list indicates 1197, and when I click on that Mailbox the title across the top of Mail indicates "Unread (15 messages, 1197 unread)".
Clearly that unread count has been corrupted some way ... is there any way to reset it?

OS X 10.9 [Mavericks] Build 13A693 | Mail Version 7.0 (1816)

Not entirely te same thing but after upgrading to 10.9 my Gmail item count in my "Inboxes" is continually set at "1" eventhough there are no unread messages. I have also gone to gmail via the web app and it shows no unread messages. So something is assuredly wacky.

Anyone else with a basic phone getting bad service?

I bought the Casio G'Zone Rock a long time ago because I was very happy with the Boulder (I even passed the Boulder on to my son's number and it STILL works great). I have had no reason to upgrade my phone or my plan for a number of years (in fact, the plan I have isn't even offered anymore). I'm starting to get the feeling that, because I'm not a cash cow for Verizon, they are intentionally reducing the quality of my service.
For example:
I can't keep a solid connection in my own one story home, but anyone with a US Cellular or T-Mobile phone has no trouble at all.
I will get a voice mail and not get a notification about it until more than 8 hours later.
Sometimes when I try to make a call, the phone has the 3G status and full connection bars, but it will timeout and never actually connect to make the call.
All of this is pretty recent too, meaning it never used to be this way. Am I the only one experiencing this? These are the same reason why I left AT&T and switched to Verizon.

If the Boulder is still working great in the same areas you're having these recent troubles with your Rock, then we are definitely need to look into something going on with your phone's hardware. Electronics can wear down over time, so it's possible the phone that's been working may have begun to deteriorate. Here's a few things to try:
   - Update your phone's roaming list by dialing *228 send and selecting option 2
   - Go to Menu>Settings & Tools>Phone Info>SW / HW Version and ensure the Software Version shows C731M070
If you don't use the Boulder in the same places as the Rock is having trouble, then we may need to check out the area. Feel free to let us know your zip code so we can take a look at the area. Also, is the service trouble only happening when you're inside your home or when someone in particular is trying to call?

PCI-6013 intermitant bad counts good after hardware reset

I am using a PCI-6013 board to two edge separation counting into 10 bins over 1 second. Most of the time the counter works great but some of the time I get garbage data eg 0,6050955,6050951,0,6050944,6050954,0,6051007,0,6050951. The counts are coming from a PMT that has a max linear response of 1,000,000 counts per second. Each data point represents 100ms of counting. Powering the PMT off and then on has no effect. After restarting my program the reponse returns to normal until the counts freak out again maybe 20 minutes later. Does any one have any ideas why this is happening?

What two signals are your trying to perform a two edge separation measurement on? What do you mean by bins? What language are you doing this in and can you post your code?
