Bass problem resolved - Can no one advise me please

Has the new 80 gig Ipod had the previous bass distortion problem resolved ?
The old 60 gig model showed significant bass distortion (bass drum etc) on some tracks and was a known problem.
I am thinking of buying the new 80Gig tomorrow - or - the Creative model - -can anyone advise right away please /

Check through the forum and use bass distortion as a search - you will then see some time ago that a problem did exist. It was due as far as I know to the change of the output whcih caused an overlaod on deep bass especially when the equaliser was used. Apple knew about this and eventually posted a hardware 'upgrade' - however I do not know if this cured the problem as I then bought the Sony A3000. I would like to get the new Ipod but not if this problem still exists.

It sounds like you are trying to burn a playlist to a disc in iTunes, but you are getting the error, "disc burner or software not found." I found a couple of resources that I think might help with an error like this.

You posted in the "Using Mac App Store" forum but your profile indicates you are using an iPad so that's what I'll try helping you with.
On the iPad tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Then restart the iPad. Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

What id shows at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app ? If it's the old email address that you had on your account then try tapping on it and log out of your account and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad.

I looked at threads to see if people got there plasmas or LCD displays to work with DVA to HDMi adaptors and got so confused that i decided to post asking which ones work rather then digging to find out in the trials and errors in between.
I am asking who got there (Plasma or large LCDs) to look sharp and work great?
So can anyone recommend a good, large compatible and working TV display with the mac mini ?
Is LCD more clear then Plasma when using your screen as a desktop to work in photoshop for example?, or is ADC, HDMI better then RGB on a 42" csreen (plasma or LCD) ?

i am still asking that question as to which display has been tested that works digitally so i can use it as my computer screen.
Plasmas seem like regular TV sets at some point, too bright and lack of sharpness, although i am into getting one since the are bigger then LCDs and cheaper.
But i stood a distance from several TVs the other day and noticed that Plasmas where hazy and lacked sharpness over all next to LCD screens., maybe the ones i was looking at where terrible., hard to say since at another store i could not tell the difference with some.
Now i have these questions:
1-What is the right resolution i should look for so that i can connect my powerbook or mac mini and use it via digitally like i do with my Apple cinema display?
I like to have the biggest screen possible.
2-Would it be safe to say LCD is the way to go digitally here?,or RGB is just as good?
3- Which way to connect is also what i need to know so when i ask for a TV at a store, i can narrow down my options.
So is it plasma or LCD, HDMi or RGB, and what resolution?

Can any one advise me if the new ipod nano 7th gen has a sleep timer on it?

I have just be giving a new style Ipod Nano 7th gen for christmas and wanted to know if it has the facility of playing music and setting up a sleep timer alarm so that it switches itself off after either 30min or 60mins?
I have had an ipod nano 4th gen for about 4 years and it has this sleep timer facility on it which i absolutely love and use every night.

Well without seeing your design, I can tell you that in order
to make your webpage expand and contract based on the screen
resolution will require that you use possibly repeating backgrounds
in table cells or layers that have widths based on percentages
rather than pixels.
As far as a comments box goes, based on your description it
sounds like you need a contact form to submit information to an
email account as opposed to a comments box (
http://www.shoutpro.com/ - that
is a comments box).
If you need a form to mail to an email you should consider
what you can run on your server. More than likely, even if PHP is
available it would be blocked by your server so you would have to
use cgi for mail. So I would recommend trying this script:

It is fairly simple, you just have to point your form to the
CGI file that is include in the script. Then there are instructions
on the site telling you how to edit that CGI file to send an email
to where you need it to go. Hopefully this is what you are looking

Hi there could someone out there please help i've got a Iphone 4 running on IOS 5 and it will not come out of recovery mode> It comes up with the error code -1 which i've looked everywhere on the web but no one seams to have the same issue.
This is a reconditioned replacement phone from the apple genius guys which i paid £130 for and only got 3 months warranty with and as soon as the warranty run out it crashed on me and never been able to get it back out of recovery mode. I've been back to the apple genius guys and they have told me there's nothing they can do other than charge me £130 to take the phone off me and give me another reconditioned phone with a 3 month warranty. This is a bad hardware error, Baseband Error. Some have reported getting through this error by Restoring iPhone with the SIM Card removed. Try that. Try restoring with different computer. Search Web some more for other thoughts.

When I load the html page, I am getting the dialog box to grant permission for the applet to read the data from the local hard disk
(Please note that the init() of ReadCounter applet is calling
readObject() which reads some values from the local drive) and I am granting the permission.
Now the problem is, I am calling a method in the ControlCenter applet by saying like
document.applets[0].setValues() from the HTML page using javascript...This method will in turn call the readObject method of the ReadCounter by having a ReadCounter object...something like

rc.readObject();
Now the rc.readObject() is supposed to read some data from the local hard disk and where the problem starts. The whole code works fine in IE..but in Netscape4.77/6/7.0 are not able to do this operation. My questions are
1. Is it because I have not declared the ControlCenter applet too to use the plugin? Thats why the ControlCenter class, when referred from javascript, not able to read the value from the local drive?
2.If I make ControlCenter applet also to use the java plugin then how can i invoke a method inside the ControlCenter applet using javascript?
I tried document.applets['ControlCenter'].setValues()...this is not working in Netscape versions, because once I make the ControlCenter to use the plugin, I am not able to refer the embedded object in Netscape. document.embeds[0] is not giving me any values. How do i solve this?
3. Generally, How do i refer an embedded object, which is embedded using <EMBED SRC=.....> in javascript, so that it will work in netscape? I am not able to refer it in javascript
4. I cannot set permissions within the code itself using enablePrevilege etc..for IE and Netscape..since this does not work with IE6.0 with java plugin 1.4 installed ..I cannot instruct my client to disable the plugin if any installed, to make the code work...so I cannot go for this option of com.ms.security for IE and some enablePrevileges etc. for Netscape.
Please help me out of this problem...thanks a lot in advance
