Batch convert and preserve creation dates

Hello,
How can I batch convert videos and preserve creation dates.
I have a big collection of family video that I want to convert, but preserving the dates is crucial for sorting by date after.
Any ideas if the creation date can be transfered to the video EXIF of similar ?
Simcerely
Dan

There are a few things you can do in Compressors...
You can add Annotations to the video. Click on the video in the video well, Inspector window, Additional Information tab:
and/or you can add a small text overlay to the bottom right of the video; Inspector window, Filter tab, Text Overlay:

  • PO creation Date and Invoice creation Date

    Hi,
    Can any one help me regarding which table I can look for PO creation date and Invoice creation date. I require these fields for my reporting requirement.
    Thanks in advance,
    Arvind.

    Thanks for your response Bala.
    I got the Table which I require. I have one more question on this.
    Can you tell me Invoice Creation Date is RBKP-BLDAT(Document Date in Document) or RBKP-BUDAT(Posting Date in the Document) and PO creation Date is EKKO-AEDAT(Date on which the record was created) or EKKO-BEDAT(Document Date in Document).

  • Very urgent : shipping point and delivery creation date

    Hi :
    I have a custom table with fields :
    belnr, posnr, btyp, aufnr, ebeln, ebelp, livbeln, liposnr,matnr,wadat,kunnr,werks,bmeinh,getri,inaktiv,wabukz,erdat,aedat,loekz.
    Custom Transaction with fields :
    vbeln (field name belnr) , aufnr, delivery vbeln ( field name livbeln ),werks, mat .avail.dat ( mbdat ), transport.plan date(tddat),
    matnr, and sales order item (posnr).
    I have to select sales order , item from custom table based on plant (werks) shipping point , and delivery creation date.
    how can i relate shipping point and delivery creation date to my query.
    For delivery creation date, it should be selected based on current date+-2 and should choose MBDAT OR TDDAT which ever is earlier based on current date.
    I would appreciate if anyone can give me som idea and full points r rewarded.
    Thx.

    Hi,
    Try this:
    select a1belnr a1posnr vbep~etenr into corresponding fields of table itab from a1 inner join vbap
    on a1belnr = vbapvbeln
    inner join vbep
    <b>on vbapvbeln = vbepvbeln and vbapposnr = vbepposnr</b>
    where a1~werks = p_werks
    AND vbap~vstel = p_vstel
    AND vbep~edatu = p_edatu
    AND (vbep~mbdat <= p_edatu OR
    vbep~tddat <= p_edatu ).

  • Finder and EXIF - creation date

    The 'date of creation'  of pictures, normally stated in the exif-file of the picture, will be used to sort the pictures after the date of creation, as in iPhoto and any other photo program. In the finder, however, another 'date of creation' is used.
    Is it not possible to force the finder tot use the exif data? What data is the finder now using?
    Regards,
    Goos.

    In the finder you can show and sort on EITHER the modification date or the creation date of a file. I believe by default the finder view only shows the Mod date and not the creation date. So if you go into view options and then turn ON showing the creation date column (you can also turn off the mod date column if you like) give you the correct date and time or did iPhoto mess those up as well? If they are there, then now all you have to do is resort by that new column in the finder.
    Otherwise, you will have to use a third party application to batch modify the date and time of the files to match those contained in the EXIF metadata. There are a large number of programs that will do that including Graphics Converter.

  • How to import photos from Mail to iPhoto and preserve the date created?

    I have several photos sent to me via email attachments in Mail which I want to "add to iphoto."  When I do this, the original date of the photo changes to "today's date."
    When I drag the photo to the desk top, the file (photo) properties change and the date changes to "today's date."
    Is there a way to import photos and preserve the original date the photo was taken?  For example,  if my family finally got around to sending me photos from 4th of July, I know the date is 7/4/2012, not today's date, 10/9/2012.
    I want to avoid the time/work of doing batch changes on countless photos I want to add to iphoto.
    iphoto 11
    mail 5.3
    Lion 10.7.5

    Larry, I need more information...
    Using what you said, I ran some tests using photos taken with my digital camera in iPhoto.  My photos show the following information in the "information" sidebar:
    •type of camera
    •Flash on
    •Format size
    •File size (MB)
    •File type (jpeg)
    •Frame "number"
    •Month/day/year/hour/min/sec/AM-PM
    Then I tried to email a photo to myself:  I have tried:  "share," "attach," "drag/drop" a photo into email and sent it to myself as a test.  Once the photo arrives in my Mail inbox, I have tried various ways to add this "test" photo into iPhoto:
    "Add to iphoto"
    "drag into iphoto"
    "export into iphoto"
    Each time, iphoto created the photo with "today's date."  In the past, I would get an alert:  Photo already exists in iphoto, do you still want to import?  Duplicate or Cancel
    Can you elaborate on, "if the photo properties are present and correctly formatted then iPhoto uses them."
    When I drag a photo to the desktop and double-click to preview the photo, the top of the preview window says:
    P1009.jpg -- locked (gray lettering of the word "locked")
    Is there a setting I need to change to "unlock" the properties of my photos?*
    Thanks!!
    MG
    *My original post focuses on importing photos sent from other people.  I am hoping if I can solve the matter with my own photos, other photos will import with original dates created, too.

  • Possible to preserve creation date when copying an email file?

    I'm using a PowerBook Pro 17" running Mac OS X 10.8.3.
    I'm copying email files (both Apple Mail and Outlook 2011) by dragging them from their email folder to the desktop.  In the past, the creation date used to be preserved.  But tonight, the creation date is being replaced by the modified date (aka NOW!).  Since my emails are organized by creation date, this puts me in a tough spot.  Is there a simple (or even complicated) way around this problem?
    Thanks.
    Paul

    One way to do it would be to place the files in a separate folder, then create a new folder of the same name on your external HD and use an application like SyncTwoFolders to copy the contents from one folder to the other.
    Or simply burn that folder to a DVD.

    You can also prepare dir command and then exeucte it by using XP_CMDSHELL. This gives you file name, modified date, creation date information.

  • Has anyone made a script to batch import 2d and batch convert and batch export using the 3D repoussé to an .obj?

    Im looking to batch import around 4000 images and convert them into 3d objects, but I'm not sure how i would script that to work in Photoshop. Do you think photoshop can handle that many operations?

    try below code
    before run script close all indb file
    var fileFilters = "InDesign:*.indb*";
    var myFolder = Folder.selectDialog ("choose Folder", fileFilters, false);
    var files = myFolder.getFiles("*.indb");
    for(i = 0; i < files.length; i++)
           var theDocument = app.open(File(files[i]), true);
             with ( theDocument ) {
                alert ( theDocument.name)
                 exportPdf(theDocument)
    function exportPdf(theDocument)
          myFilePath = myFolder + "/" +  theDocument.name + "_" + ".pdf";
            myFile = new File(myFilePath);
              theDocument.exportFile(ExportFormat.pdfType, myFile, false, app.pdfExportPresets.item('[Smallest File Size]'));

  • Copy files over network and preserve original date modified/created

    This problem originally cropped up when importing photos into iphoto. I copied all my pics across the network and stored them locally then imported them into iPhoto. Problem was, any pics that did not have EXIF data were sorted by iPhoto, by date created...which was the date they were copied to the Mac.
    I got around that by trashing the iPhoto Library, then importing the photos over the network. The dates on the pics were correct on the Windows machine till the copy process changed them.
    is there a way to copy across the network and keep all the file attributes as they are on the original..An archive type feature.
    I had thought of RsyncX, but have not used that yet from within the Mac.
    Is there a way from within Finder to copy and keep attributes? or a third party app?
    Neil

    zip the folder with your pictures (control-click on it and choose "compress folder"), copy the zip files to the remote computer and unzip it there. this will preserve the modified and created dates.

  • Batch creation Date of Manuf and Shelf life issue

    Hello,
    I am having issues when batch gets created during Process order Creation/Confirmation.
    The issue is when the Batch gets created on creation/confirmation(101 GR) the field "Date of Manuf" is not populated on the batches(with todays date) which I checked in MSC3N.
    Because of this the shelf life is not getting populated(based on Shelf life data from MM) and is causing my Batch determination process to not work in Sales order/Delivery.
    Can anyone tell me if there is a config or master data set up
    1) which will either populate the field "Date of Manuf" automatically(when I do GR or Usage)
    or
    2) If it can give a pop up during Quality Inspection(usage) or Process order confirmation that will force someone to enter the Date of Manuf.
    Also when I check my classification tab for the batch(in MSC3N), the classification data does not gets created, which afffects my Batch determination process during Sales order/Delivery process.
    I have to manually go in the Batch(MSC2N) and enter todays date for Date of manuf and create classification data.
    Any Ideas what the issue is?
    Thanks

    Hi, what you can do i set total shelf life in Plant Data / storage 1 view in the material master. In such way the date of manufacture will be required field to enter when you produce material. Shelf life date will be calculated automatically based on the total shelf life mantained. In some transactions (we are using MFBF) when total shelf life is populated in the material master, the date of production is defaulted in the transaction (with the current date), you can check if this is applicable in your scenario.
    Best Regards, Peter
    Hi, in addition to that you can check transaction OMCV - here you can activate automatic batch classification per movement type - so the batches can be classified automatically by SAP

  • DNG converting creation date too; dont want

    DNG converter changes the creation date to conversion time ( = modify time) in finder.
    This is precisely unwanted.  How to retain original creation date please?
    Mac OSX.8.2

    It seems that every time I try to find a workaround or say that something cannot be done, someone comes back and says there is a plug-in that will do that. And I seem to recall that someone has already indicated that there is a plug-in for fixing the problem you are referencing. But I don't use plug-ins. I am just a "plain vanilla" Photoshop/ACR/Lightroom user. You might want to do a Google search and see what you can come up with.
    The problem, from my point of view, is that the file date on the DNG after it has been created is not a function of the converter. That date is stamped by the operating system. And since I don't use plug-ins, or at least haven't up to this point, I don't see any way for the operating system to read the EXIF data in the file to get that date.

  • How can I change the file creation date?

    I recently downloaded more than 1,000 photos from my vacation. I'm preparing to burn DVDs for a friend, and I noticed that when I copy the photos to the desktop, they don't all have the same date. I have read a couple of discussions here about the difference between photo creation date and file creation date, and I understand the difference. But something seems odd to me.
    For purposes of illustration, let's take two photos: "A" was taken with the camera in the landscape position (how one normally holds a point-and-shoot); "B" was taken with the camera held in the portrait position (rotated 90 degrees). The photos were taken on April 24, about three minutes apart, but not imported into iPhoto until May 19.
    In iPhoto, both files show the actual creation date. Yay!
    The problem is with the files after having been copied to the desktop.
    When copied to the desktop, the info panel for photo "A" shows April 24 for both the "created" and "modified" dates. Photo "B," however, shows May 19 for the "created" and "modified" dates.
    Apparently, when the "B-style" photos were imported into iPhoto, the app automatically rotated them so that they are viewed correctly (without having to turn your head sideways). This is a very nice feature, but the result is that the file date changes.
    Is there any way to change this? I want the DVD to show the date the photo was created, not imported to iPhoto. Picky, I know … but I'm like that.

    Apparently, when the "B-style" photos were imported into iPhoto, the app automatically rotated them so that they are viewed correctly (without having to turn your head sideways). This is a very nice feature, but the result is that the file date changes.
    Correct.  Your camera has an Auto-Rotate feature. However, the camera does not actually rotate any pixels in the file, but instead flags it with an instruction: "Display me this way". This is a tag in the Exif metadata. When you import a file with this tag iPhoto creates a modified version. It does this because most of the apps that integrate with it -  email clients, word processors etc - simply don't understand this Exif tag. So if you used the shot in a word processing doc, uploaded it to many Web site etc, the shot would come out sideways.
    iPhoto has nothing to say about File dates. There are various file utilities that will edit the dates on Files
